[00:00:00]For those who know the history of the internet, one of the exciting things about it in the beginning [music] was that it was a decentralized network where, you know, anyone could put up a website, anyone could start a business, [music] anyone could create a new software product and distribute it. Over time, the internet has gotten far more consolidated. [music] There's a relatively small number of large services now that control the vast majority of the money and the traffic that flows through the internet. All signs point to AI sort of furthering that consolidation. I think that's [music] a negative trend. I think that we want to keep the original vision of the internet, that we want to have a level playing field where two people in a garage can start a internet [music] service that competes on a level playing field with bigger companies, that small businesses can flourish. The only kind of credible technology around right now that can counter balance that consolidation is crypto.
