The video effectively exposes how social media has gamified lawlessness, turning the erosion of social trust into a digital spectacle for clout. It highlights a disturbing shift where the pursuit of online validation has completely decoupled from basic civic responsibility.

The retail theft situation is insaneAdded:
The retail theft problem in this country is bonkers. It's gotten so out of control that people feel totally happy making social media videos of them stealing and getting clout. The comments fill with people about slay king or queen or all this kind of stuff. There's uh several videos going on right now that are giving me massive fatigue that I think are worth taking a look at. A lot of this is because during the lockdowns, a lot of states simply just stopped arresting people for shoplifting. It became a whole subculture of content even. Like it is it is so bizarre to me that this sort of thing is promoted is is not universally shamed.
But here we go. Here's Andre Williams sharing, "This is why you can't I have lots of them to look at. So stick around. You can't have nice things in America because of people like this.
This is why black people are surprised when they go to white area and see things are not locked up behind bulletproof glass."
Y'all know me. I would take this, please. Thank you.
I would take that, please. Thank you.
You got to grab a whole bunch out of each one just because you want to make it even. Yeah, okay. And then I'm going Mhm, one more. One more scoop ain't going to hurt.
Now is he doing this just for social media clout?
Partially. But the fact of the matter is I in the original comment video, like in the original video, nobody's calling this guy out.
This is like Have you ever seen those videos of people that are like, "Wow, I went to a white area and it was totally crazy."
Like everything was just out for everybody. What a What a bizarre thing to see.
Ha. You know what's ironic? Right here right here, we're now hiring.
He's literally staring at a way that he could afford to buy the Tabasco sauce if he so wanted.
That he could afford to buy the plastics the plastic spoons if he wanted, but he doesn't want to. He wants to make a social media clip. And the end of this particular clip is is actually wild.
Hold on.
And apologies if somebody was coming.
Take a cut apologies. You know, I got to keep some of these in the car. Yeah, got to steal. Yep.
Yep, let's go ahead and get up out of here.
Got my sauce.
Back.
All right.
He's getting into a Mercedes.
Did you Did you catch that?
He's getting into a Mercedes. All right.
Right there you can see the Mercedes emblem on the seat.
He's probably enriching himself.
And well, through social media and then promoting this behavior.
You know.
Got everything.
And I will see Chipotle later. Y'all know me.
I mean Here's this one. Meanwhile, in his neighborhood, the saxophones get louder with CVS items. I don't I don't know what that means.
Yo, they is not playing about this Chipotle. Yo, this is crazy.
>> What do you mean what is that? That's because they're getting robbed constantly.
Was Was that not clear?
I'm sorry. Was that not clear?
They're getting robbed endlessly constantly.
That's why they have to have security items uh security tags on all their items now.
What is this?
So, what is this?
They really played.
They really played.
Oh my god. Why do you think that is?
Why do you think that is?
You can't have nice things because people are just stealing.
Like we have 0% chance of living in a high trust society.
Zero.
We will never live in a high trust trust society until these type of Like you make it Wow, what's so crazy.
They're locking up goods.
Before we get to more videos, how about this article? This one is in the UK, but it mirrors the exact same stuff that's going on in America.
Britain's shoplifting epidemic hits record high with more than 500,000 cases as just repeat offending surges.
It's because these people are never punished.
Do you think that they have a shoplifting epidemic in Japan?
Like I'm genuinely asking.
Does Japan have a shoplifting problem?
They don't.
Does South Korea have a shoplifting problem? They don't.
Do the suburbs in America have shoplifting problems?
Nope.
Do we lock up ourselves? Nope.
And people just say, "Well, look, police record 500 recorded. That's just the ones that were reported." 530,000 offenses in in England and Wales in just last year. A 50% increase on on lockdown levels. At least when when people were locked down, you could make the argument, "Oh, like you You people are stealing because they don't have a job or or something like that.
You could at least make that argument.
We know that's not why they were stealing because we could see, you know, peanut M&M's are not exactly you know, are not exactly something that you steal to feed your family.
We know that.
Peanut M&M's are not, you know, they're not they're not to to feed your family.
You're stealing them because it's the culture. It's like the little Sabrina Sabrina Carpenter meme. That's your culture.
Stealing is again How about this? Shocking footage captured the moment a brazen thief in Sacramento just pushes a shopping cart overflowing with laundry detergent out of a small business without ever paying.
The reason they still shopping the the reason they sell laundry detergent is because it's very expensive.
They're not stealing it because they are desperate for more laundry laundry detergent.
That that's not that's not why they're stealing it.
They're stealing it because they are reselling it.
Shout out to this person at least tried to stop them.
Look at that.
Oh, attacked her. That's assault on camera.
This poor this poor shop is just trying to steal her own items back. This person standing there laughing.
People you know, people like Hasan [ __ ] like shoplifting doesn't hurt anybody.
Shoplifting doesn't actually hurt anybody. You know, it's all baked into the insurance and and whatever. No, no, that's not true.
That that's not true. And especially when we're talking about this stuff happening to small businesses.
You know, this this what this thug is walking away with is probably the entire day's profit for them.
Yeah, scared the [ __ ] out of his Look at this. Good for Yeah, just taking it back.
They're being forced to steal it back.
Now he's running.
Where is he going?
I mean, are we going to Are we going to Are we going to do anything about this?
We used to live in a society.
Like can Can we go back to that? Can we go back to a time in which people could, you know, have some level of trust?
Just a little.
Just a little trust is all that that I'm asking for.
But it's impossible.
Can't have it, won't have it.
Because retail theft is People are just like, "Let me record this for social media." And by the way, people have been so demoralized that they don't get in on They don't get in on like What are people supposed to do? Take a bullet for for Walmart?
Look at this.
I mean, what is going on?
Like we we just can't have anything.
We're just We're just going to steal it.
Look at that. We're just And you know what? The employees I don't even blame the employees. What are the employees supposed to do?
If you work for Walmart or Target or any of these other places that have um you know, LP loss prevention or anything around that, you will get fired if you try to stop them because it's an insurance thing.
You will literally get fired. So, all the other idiots in this store that are standing in line patiently to pay for their $200 this looks like a Sunglass Hut.
All the other fools standing in this store doing the stupid thing paying for their goods like what they're the they're the idiots, right?
I mean, look at the stuff at Home Depot.
Every damn hustle.
Oh, turn off the music.
All right, just fill up a cart with power tools and and stuff and just walk right out. Oh, here's somebody walking right out.
Walk right out. This is all Home Depot.
Same people by the way. Oh, I'm just going to steal these thousands of dollars and I don't know what that is.
That looks like a maybe a blower, like a a a backpack uh blower for landscaping. And I just walk out and then they go right into the pawn shop. Look at that. Right out of Home Depot, right into the pawn shop.
Right out of the right out of Home Depot, right to the pawn shop.
And now you get arrested. Well, what was I supposed to do? I was just getting food for my family.
Guys, he was just getting food for his family. There's no real victims when it comes to retail theft.
You're crazy. Don't don't be crazy.
This is all organized crime. They go from straight from a Home Depot to a pawn shop. These people go straight from the Sunglass Hut to some, you know, store in the hood that sells sunglasses.
And and they won't go to jail because there's no penalties. There's no fines.
They don't keep them in jail.
And this is not just in America, it's everywhere. Lawless, completely lawless.
But, you know, this is America now.
You're an idiot if you pay for something.
That that's apparently the the rule now.
You're just an idiot if you pay for something. It's so demoralizing.
