[00:00:02]Hey, so my name is Ken Tong Song. I'm half Thai, half German, and I'm representing Bangla Town.

[00:00:11]Gama is a championships, which will be on the 28th July to the 2nd of August.

[00:00:16]It's going to be tough, but I'm feeling ready for it. I'm feeling good.

[00:00:19]>> How long have you been preparing and is there a special way that you've been preparing for it?

[00:00:22]>> Not too specifically. Just kind of what we always do here. Just a lot of circuits, a lot of training, but still we train on the walls, on the cage. Just sharpening my skills up a little bit.

[00:00:41]So, I was actually born and raised here in Phuket, Thailand. I started Muay Thai when I was 6 years old and Judo as well at the same time. And then about 7 years ago I transitioned to MMA. They can do anything, you know, it's free. You can do grappling, striking, wrestling. So, it's like I like the freedom you get from MMA.

[00:01:04]So, I work with Alex with Jujitsu, Frank with the wrestling, and George with the striking. So, no one specific coach. I go to any coach that's like good in their own field.

[00:01:18]>> We got the school canning. Get ready for your sparring. Let's go.

[00:01:22]>> Toby, he's pretty good. He's very like movie, you know, like he goes up and down, like you in and out. So, he was a good round striking-wise.

[00:01:46]I went with Ernesto Stallion. He was like real heavy with the boxing, which is really good, too. Just a few other guys, you know. Just the striking is pretty good today. I don't know. I went with a lot of guys who are really good [music] strikers. Also biggest thing, got one good wrestling round as well. But overall the striking today was insane.

[00:02:18]I'm just pretty competitive I'd say. I play ice hockey as well and I just like winning, you know, I'd say we did.

[00:02:24]So I just love competing.

[00:02:26]Uh yeah, just competitiveness.

[00:02:30]>> And you are in uh national competition here for Thailand as well?

[00:02:33]>> Yes, [music] that's right. So I'm competing next week actually. One competition X-Chang and then for Queen's Cup.

[00:02:39]Uh the Queen's Cup will be there so that's a nice >> I cannot I cannot lose now.

[00:02:59]>> This one class was fun because that's when you can like [music] try the techniques you learn throughout the week or something you saw online and you know, just try to hit it. So it's always fun to spar here. And there's just so much people here. There's like 60 people maybe.

[00:03:13]It's insane. So yeah, really high level.
