If you avoid stress, you're actually going to make it worse. And a lot of people believe that if I avoid it, I'll feel better. And it makes sense because the stress makes us [music] uncomfortable. So we avoid anything that's a stressful, a difficult conversation, responsibility, a challenge. But here's the problem.
If you avoid stress, it may help you in the short term. But you know what happened in the long term?
Your brain learn >> [music] >> that that is dangerous. I cannot handle it. So next time, the stress actually feels even bigger. Healthy stress is not the enemy. That's actually part of growth.
