Ishibashi Kazunori (1876-1926), a Japanese painter born in Izumo City who emigrated to England during a time when travel abroad was difficult, achieved success both domestically and internationally but was gradually forgotten; in 2026, marking his 150th birthday, PianoAnywhere (an art unit by musician Masahiro Utagami and photographer Toshihiro Takashima) organized a tribute concert featuring 19th-century British popular songs including 'For He's a Jolly Good Fellow,' 'Home! Sweet Home!,' 'Love's Old Sweet Song,' and 'I Dreamt I Dwelt in Marble Halls' to honor this forgotten artist whose work is currently being reevaluated at the Shimane Prefectural Art Museum.
