This is a tragic reminder that ideological purity cannot override basic biological reality. No amount of intellectual posturing can replace the essential nutrients the human body requires to function.

Woman Dies After Vegan Diet Made Her DelusionalHinzugefügt:
Woman died after vegan diet made her delusional.
I'm just going to make that the video title.
A university student, of course, took her own life while suffering delusional beliefs caused by her strict vegan diet an inquest has concluded.
I really need to hear this one. Georgina Owen had developed a vitamin B12 deficiency due to the diet she began in 2016, stemming from her environmental concerns, the coroner said. I mean, vegans often end up very deficient in very, very many things, but anyway, the 21-year-old was found unconscious at home in Saffron Walden, Essex in September 2019 and died in hospital in Cambridge 2 days later. A spokesperson for Swansea University, where she studied geography, said she was vibrant, full of enthusiasm, passionate, and well-liked by her peers and lecturers. Don't forget lethargic. A vitamin B12 is found in meat, fish, eggs, dairy dairy products, and specially fortified foods. And according to the NHS, a deficiency can lead to psychological problems.
I'm B12 don't mind not. I eat ground beef and rice every single night.
I love training.
Mhm, yummy. No, I'm kidding. No, I make it actually make really, really good [ __ ] mince actually. It tastes great.
Cambridgeshire area coroner Elizabeth Grace said, "Owen's family noted in August 2019 she had not been taking her supplements for at least 6 months." You have to take supplements when you're vegan? That's weird.
She had been due to return to university on 19 September 2019 and planned a surfing trip, but was found at home at her at her home address together with a note. Owen was resuscitated and taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital where she died on 21 September.
Grace said, "Owen reported to her family that she had bought an organic B12 supplement from Canada and would take a daily dosage of 1 mg.
I'm not going to cry. I don't have to. I have no idea how much of it you actually even need. Ms. Owen's family report that Ms. Owen had demonstrated unusual erratic behavior in the period leading up to her death at Gray Road. They provided diaries written by Ms. Owen which they suggest demonstrates her erratic behavior and a deterioration in her mental health in the immediate period before her death.
Delusional beliefs. A psychiatrist had concluded that a final note in the diary did not prove she was planning to end her life, but it suggests that she was experiencing delusions. Such psychiatric manifestations were a recognized symptom of vitamin B12 deficiency, the expert said. Blood tests were found to be consistent with such a deficiency and this likely resulted from Owen's vegan diet, Gray said.
Because humans naturally are omnivores.
We just We just are.
Like sorry, not sorry. In her conclusion, the coroner wrote that on the balance of probabilities, Owen was suffering delusional beliefs brought about by a vitamin B12 deficiency developed as a direct result of her vegan diet. She said an expert report concluded Owen was also showing vague signs of cognitive impairment, anxiety, fatigue, and diffi- uh leth- lethargic and difficulty with simple decision making.
Now, whatever you eat and put in your body is completely up to you, right? I'm I'll turn around and make fun of vegetarians.
I'll make fun of vegans and stuff like that, which is, you know, that's going to be difficult for me because, you know, converting to Orthodoxy, there's two days of the week where we have to fast and we're not allowed any animal products whatsoever.
Which is fair.
That's fair.
Going to be hard, but it'll be fair. How are you supposed to train? How are you supposed to train? I need my gains, man, but you know, Lord matters more.
Uh But basically like if you want to be a vegan you want to be vegetarian whatever like I'll make fun of you and stuff like that. But if someone goes yeah we should ban it that's when I'll be like right hold up now. Right now it's up to a person whatever they put into their body. However, I don't think it's the best diet. I think you're supposed to eat a huge variety of many many different things.
Right that's what I believe. Basically I don't eat enough vegetables. I'll tell you that right now. I should be eating more vegetables.
But I just don't.
Because I'll get my beef and rice which is actually amazing because I'm really good at making that [ __ ] I don't just have beef and rice. I have spices and everything and I make a proper meal out of it and then I'll look at the vegetables and be like I just won't. I just won't. I just won't do that. But but like again I don't think it is the best diet. I think you're supposed to eat a wide variety of many different things which I do try and do. I don't eat just beef and rice for every single meal every single day. Right that would get old [ __ ] fast. Right but still in this case I mean the fact that veganism can make people become delusional and a bit loopy kind of explains a lot.
