Poland Has AI Stores Like THIS?! 🇵🇱😮Added:
Poland's mind-blowing AI store from this channel, Gallivanter Dom.
This is going to be super interesting.
I've seen other YouTubers reacting to this video, so yeah.
That was very intriguing. I had no idea that Poland might have an AI store, so check it out. Do you hate social interaction? Do you have crippling social anxiety? Well, do Okay, it will sound bad, but yeah.
>> [laughter] >> I do.
>> the store for you? Right here is a Zabka Nano, which is a really interesting little store. There's not too many of them about, but there is about a couple in each city or main city in Poland that I've seen. There's one here in Poznan, like slightly outside the center. Where I am right now is kind of like a student accommodation area, which I suppose is good to have one of these here.
And the other one is in the main train station in Poznan Główna.
Uh, but I thought we'd come here and it's night time because this is the exact time you want to use these things.
It's currently, let me check my phone, quarter past 11:00 at night. So, most Żabkas close at 11:00. Some close at 10:00. They don't all close at the exact same time. Bro, if I would make a video like this in Italy at 23:15, I would be just checking out anywhere if I was about to get robbed or jumped on.
That's crazy. Really feel safe as everyone is saying.
>> For I know, there is a couple of 24-hour ones, although there isn't really many 24/7, like genuine 24/7 ones where they're open on all the holidays and things like that. This guy is open all the time. And basically what it is is it's a staffless store.
Um, and you don't even have to scan things. You just literally go in, you tap your card here to go in. We'll change this to English.
So, you can either enter with the Żabka app. Now, for whatever reason, I can't seem to use the Zabka app, much to the dismay of the cashiers and all the Zabka stores cuz they ask you every time, "Uh Zabka application or whatever." And I always have to say, "Near mom."
But, you can just enter with a payment card, which is what we'll be trying today. And basically, what it says here is, "Scan your card, enter, take what you want, and leave."
And it just knows what you've taken. So, I don't know if you look inside, you can see there's cameras everywhere.
So, I'm not sure if it works by using artificial intelligence to keep track of everything that you take or if there's literally some guy on a computer somewhere watching everything you take.
But, if you pick something up and you put it back, I remember in when I was staying in Canary Island with my friend, we traveled there and we stayed there for about 6 months a long time ago I'm talking about. And at the time I was still smoking, so sometimes we would go to this place where you would get the cigarettes. They had like this machine that they sell cigarettes, they sell even beers, snacks, and we would go there and you have to like put on you have to go like that so they can see you through the little screen. And sometimes they will ask you also for the ID card. So, I don't know. Sometimes you will wait even 3 to 5 minutes. One time at 2:00 a.m. I stayed there for like 10 minutes. I guess there's going to be someone looking at you through the screen from another location. I have no idea what's going on. One time I was even refused. I waited there for like 15 minutes for nothing.
That was such a weird experience. That takes me back. Oh my god. They will know that. So, you literally only get billed for what you take. And we'll pop in in a minute and we'll see exactly what they have. But, I'll show you this one's like a self-standing unit. It's basically like a looks like a shipping container, really. It's not very big.
That's basically it. I suppose that's why they call it nano. But, it seems to be fairly well stocked.
Not as well stocked as a as a typical Zabka. And some Zabkas actually quite large and have pretty much everything.
So, what we'll do is we'll pop in after this lady and we'll see what we can get.
Right, so we'll start with the screen here and luckily we have two options.
Like I say, Zabka app or with a payment card. And we've got a multitude of languages here. We've got Polish, English, German, and Ukrainian.
Obviously for us English and over payment card.
Now, tap your card on the terminal. I'll just tap my card here.
Right, I need to put in my phone number or it seems.
Give me one moment.
So, I can select UK. But you guys won't get my number cuz I know I've got some funny subscribers. Agree and send. Send me a code. Right, I should get a code on my phone now.
I guess it's a so you're not using stolen cards or they can just track you if you're doing something dodgy.
So, my number Okay, so I've popped that in.
Correct code.
And now, come inside.
Hey, so good to see >> Right, should we see what they've got here? They've got sort of everything you want for like late night snacks and things like that. So, you've got some ready meals here. Little penne alla vodka, penne alla bolognese, some pancakes, a little pierogi, all your waters, your drinks, your teas.
Got some sausages, salami, milkshakes, juices, yogurts.
Those are quite delicious. You know, you drink Wait, wait, which one was that?
>> milkshakes, juices, yogurts.
Those are quite Ah, the fact that latte, bro. My favorite is the Kinder Pingui.
This is the Kinder King if I'm not mistaken.
It's so hard to find it nowadays in Italy. This one really didn't work out that well in Italy, I would say. But I really liked it. Oh my god. The Kinder Pingui is the best.
>> Delicious. You know you drink your Pepsis, Dr. Dr. Pepper, you know, you got the bio there. Oshies, you know, I'll pick up an Oshie cuz I do like an Oshie. We'll go for the lemonade.
Big fan of these. It's really hot evening tonight, so one of them will be nice. So we've got that, we've got energy drinks.
Um got some Johnnies. Got obviously the essential things. I mean, if it's late at night, then you know, >> [laughter] >> that's good to have. Usually here we have the outside of the pharmacy, there's always like the the vending machine that you can get this type of stuff and other you know.
Like uh pads, tampons, and stuff like that, cuz you know nature is what nature is. We got some bread, some uh rice crackers. But it seems like they're not selling beer, or maybe this is Oh, maybe they don't sell beer.
>> is some like fruity pouches.
Your noodles.
>> Noodles, yeah.
>> Kabanosy, massive fan of them, guys. If you're ever in Poland, try Kabanosy.
They're delicious. Like Polish jerky is what I see. It's like these little or like Polish pepperoni.
Your sauces, some rice, chocolate biscuits.
Protein bars.
>> [laughter] >> Um and like I say, you just pick it up, there's nothing to scan. So let's just pick up a couple couple of things just for the fun of it, even though I am typically trying to be a little healthier on this trip. Got an Oshie.
We'll pick up a cheeky little Snickers.
And there's also some other bits and bobs here, some more sweets and biscuits.
>> You've got ice creams. You've got ice as well if you just want some ice and frozen pizzas. You can tell we're kind of stocked up for the students here. So you can get you know, a lot of stuff here, almost everything. The one thing you can't get here is Galavantum merch, cuz that's only available at galavantum.store. [laughter] So if you want some sick drip like this, guys, and a lot of people ask me as well, Galavantum, what does it actually stand for?
And Galavantum is someone that seeks pleasure through travel. So if you seek pleasure through travel and also one that does and they're in the mood for in the or in the market for a t-shirt Some sick merch, I would say. Oh my god.
a more hoodie or a jumper. Get yourself over to gallivanter.store.
Right, so that's pretty much everything.
I don't need too much else. We'll get a drink. We'll get a little chucky. Um some of them are different. The milk looks like a pretty much everything. I don't need too much else.
Yeah, this milk right here looks like maybe it's beer with lemon. I mean, it wouldn't make sense that they don't sell alcohol, right? Otherwise, people might get in, get drunk, be noisy on the road, on the streets at night. We'll get a drink. We'll get a little chucky. Let me know in the comments. Um some of them are different. I I think the one in Govena has a coffee No, actually this one actually looks like beer.
machine and this one doesn't. But, it is roasting hot right now, so I don't want a coffee machine. But, yeah, I think you know you're pretty well stocked. This is good. 24 hours, so even on let's say a holiday where everything's shut, this place will be open. So, you know, you could get some sausages. You could get some bread or like a ready meal. So, you're not going to starve and you've got every every drink under the sun basically. Yeah, it's really nice. So, yes, let's pop out and we'll see how long it takes for me to get get billed for this stuff.
And yeah, like you can see there's cameras everywhere watching what I do.
So, someone's probably looking back at me thinking, "What's this lad doing?"
And it's got some air conditioning as well. So, I guess that's it. We leave.
It almost feels like stealing, but this is Yeah, this is just how it works.
It is so nice. And I'm not sure if it's only one person at a time, but it didn't seem like there's anything on the screen when that lady went in before us. I just didn't want to disturb her cuz it's a very small space. She doesn't need an obnoxious vlogger with her.
But, yeah, that's everything.
So, I don't know how long it'll take to be billed. Should we have a look at my phone? See if something's gone through.
Right, so I was billed 4 minutes ago, which must have been as I've went in. I was billed 15 zloty exactly. So, that's not what I've taken cuz that wouldn't add up to exactly 15's already. So, maybe there's a small charge just before you go in, maybe to validate Could it be it's like when you when you do got it when you make gasoline here in Italy, usually you tap your card and they charge you about 100 euros. And then after that couple of minutes, they will refund you and charge you with the right amount. I think it could be something similar to that, right?
Maybe that's the average amount that people will spend when they enter the stores, so they they already know that and then they will charge you the proper amount.
>> I put in your card.
Uh but nothing's come through just yet on the final payment. So, I'll let you know when that pops through. It might it might not be till tomorrow. It might be a little bit of time. I'm not sure.
But uh otherwise, that was so quick and easy. Even though I didn't have an application, if you have an application, you won't have to put your phone number in and these bits and bobs. You just scan a QR code. Only problem is for whatever reason with my UK cards, I can't seem to use the Zabka application. It won't take my card. I think maybe you need to have a Polish card. I could be wrong.
Maybe I was having issues at the time.
But yes, so let's enjoy our beautiful Bro, this summer I want to travel to Poland and I will definitely try one of those uh Zabka Nano, especially late at night. Snickers creamy which are quite delectable.
I've never seen that.
>> I want more than that at the minute is this Oshi cuz it's it's very hot. It's still like 20-odd degrees outside. And like I said, it's nearly midnight.
Yes, so let's enjoy our lovely uh Oshi vitamin lemonade Ah, outside the Zabka Nano.
I must say this light is very cyberpunk, isn't it? Right guys, so I actually did get a text message from Zabka as soon as I left. Um and it said, "Thank you for visiting Nano. If you're leaving with your purchases, you'll receive your receipt shortly. Uh see you soon." So, I don't know how shortly shortly is to actually get the receipt.
But it obviously acknowledged as soon as I left. I got the I must have got the text message a few seconds after leaving, which is really really great. I think it's a fantastic piece of technology. Obviously it's putting some people out of jobs, but at the same time it's offer Yeah, but I think this will work only on certain countries. I cannot imagine how it will be in Italy.
Definitely, oh my god. I still remember I live in a small city, you know, so it's relatively relatively I can't even pronounce that word.
>> [laughter] >> Safer than most other cities. I mean it's not nearly as dangerous as Turin or Milan or whatever. It's a very small town. And I remember they where does the main bus station they put on some vending machines all around the area. Bro, they had to close out everything. They trashed the whole [ __ ] place.
I mean, I don't know.
It's really terrible. Most places in Europe, especially southern Europe, are wow.
Incredible. People is not civilized at all. bring a service during times where people wouldn't be able to work anywhere during like holidays and things like that.
Pretty cool, especially on a university campus. I think that's that's good. Cuz we did Yeah, I mean, I don't think it would take out too much definitely would take out some people's work, but they were just selling snacks.
Most people would eat healthier food than just snacks. That's like a late night, you know, you have this opportunity late at night if you're really starving or you forgot to I don't know, you studied or worked too hard and then you don't have anything in your fridge, just go there and get some.
>> have some shops on my university campus, but they are shut at like 11:00 or 12:00 o'clock.
So to have something literally 24/7, especially these students with the Johnny's on offer, you know, that's going to come in clutch.
Hi guys, so I'm actually in my flat now.
I'm back from Zabka. Oh, at 1:01 after 2 hours. She is pretty fast. I think there's definitely some people working there to see what's you done. If it take If it took that long, if it was all run by AI, it would have been almost instant problem.
>> I'm actually sitting down to edit the video right now, and I just got a text from Zabka Nano saying that my bill's ready and I've been invoiced. So, it cost me a grand total of 10 złoty and 10 groszy.
And I have my bill here as a link.
And it'll take you there and it shows you what you've taken, and it shows the Oshee lemonade and the Snickers creamy peanut butter, the time and the date.
So, it shows there at 23:24 is when I got it. And it's now 5:05 in the morning. So, it will take a little bit of time to get that bill, but really what's that? An hour and a half? It's not too bad really if it's a completely automated system. I think that's fantastic. That's really cool. You can download it as a PDF, so I guess if you were doing some stuff for work and you needed to have expenses, you could get that as a PDF. I think that's fantastic.
So, there you go, guys. Now you know how long it take you to get your bill and everything you need to know about >> Zabka Nano. Well, guys, I hope you've enjoyed that video. I've got other videos actually Oh, there's other people now inside. regarding to Zabka where I go to a Zabka in Poznań again in a Stary Browar, and they have a a robot that makes you hot dogs. So, if again, if you don't like [laughter] interacting with people I think I saw that. Oh my god, I think I saw that in the Netherlands in other videos. Bro, I tried British food in Poland. Oh my god, I love the English breakfast. That was my favorite, the peak moment of my trip to London a couple of months ago. The English breakfast. Wow, the best thing in the world.
>> people, you can get a you can get the hot dog there because that's what Zabka's known for. They're known for the hot dogs. You can go there, it will make it all for you, and you don't have any human interaction. And it's a good bit of fun. So, you can check out that video, guys, if you want to see more Zabka stuff, and I'll catch you on the next one.
That was pretty cool. That was pretty cool. I'm not going to lie. Make sure to check out this channel, Gallivanter Dome. Thank you so much for Thank you so much. Sorry.
>> [laughter] >> For watching my videos well. Thank you and I will see you in the next one.
