Food trucks hit hard by rising gas pricesAdded:
You think filling up your car is expensive right now? Imagine filling up one of these food trucks. And it's not just the truck that they have to fill up, it's also the generator over here that runs their whole kitchen. After avoiding it for as long as I possibly could, we were about a quarter tank left. I filled up this truck and it was about $120. So, you know, that's we're going to sell a lot of sandwiches today though and hopefully make some of that back.
>> Right now here in Metro Detroit, gas prices are teetering close to five bucks a gallon. I know I filled up yesterday, it cost me $72.
So, I know it's definitely not cheap for these guys. So, don't forget to show them some love. We're going to be live with the story tonight on Local 4.
