nesto away before they draw in a crowd once they are far enough from the group phra ditches her sisters to go sell her Goods her usual vendors give her a playing hard to get Vibe so they can suck it today no quality spoils for them she then spots a tough mercenary perched on the town Fountain this person has such interesting eyes not just one shade of black but but dot dot dot many okay girl silly ass use of ellipses aside I'm going to need you to break out the hexad decimal chart right now and point out the exact 50 Shades of Black you mean get out of here with your thoughts of color and funky looking little guy called a martax had snuck up on a random Village and shredded everything and everyone there to Ribbons there's another type of fake creature that had a poisonous bite which took the mercenary out of commission for many months but that's nothing compared to the incomprehensible abilities of a f High Lord Lord we are so so lucky they happen to choose to mine their business on their side of the wall all this to say the humans are to an unfair degree it had to have been a miracle for humans to achieve their autonomy in the first place to reiterate these face still have stands farra and the mercenary part ways as nesa rolls up and drags farra back they almost have an argument about a time when some other random mercenary pretty much robbed nesa and Elaine but nesa glances over and notices dot dot dot my man the highly anticipated Isaac freaking Hil In the Flesh leaning against some build and roll practicing his blue steel smolder there's probably some wind blowing his luscious locks just the whole cool dude kit and Kaboodle aesthetic theya and Isaac had befriended each other when her family had moved to the Village one day they were just chilling talking about the greatness of eggs and for once in that moment farra didn't feel alone a week later she pulled his ass into what becomes their love barn and they've been in a situationship ever since phra and Isaac make eye contact he nods in a familiar Direction and mosies off to their special Barn where will be waiting the book assures us that Isaac takes a contraceptive Brew so they're as careful as they can be in that world a world where STDs don't seem to be a thing but I mean I I am reading a fantasy so LOL fav presses a 20 Mark copper into Lane's hand and says she'll meet them at home later said later the family has eaten dinner and are chilling by the fire before bedtime elain and Nesta spent the money they received and that apparently satiated Nesta enough that she Roar pieces the quiet as the front door slams open snow bursts inside and an ominous growling shape lingers in the doorway and of chapter okay so we last had character intro and dynamics of chapter now we got biest World building the chapter without it feeling like an absolute Lord dump or anything I've definitely read way worse Exposition dumps as of late so this kind of felt like a bit of a repri for me the deck really seems stacked against the humans though I feel for farra and understanding her hatred for the fa folk as they're being hyped up as this Unstoppable and merciless Force again Attack on Titan Vibes phon may not be able to join the equivalent of the survey core but the first time I read this I got excited on how Pharaoh will handle the Fay when that time inevitably comes would she eventually become a David against a fa liath well something nonhuman had just burst through her front door so at least we won't have to wait long to have an idea where this could go wait wait what if best boy Isaac becomes the Levi character he may not seem like much more than the brooding pretty boy type but he also seems to have an inner Darkness within him I can tell I know a dark horse when I see one with the way he's been utilized thus far I wouldn't count him out of the game just yet watch as farra has her journey Isaac will have his Attack on Titan style Adventure offscreen they can meet again in book two or three or whatever and they'd both serve the most maybe they'd be friends maybe they'd be foes oh man the drama oh that would be the dream [Music] yeah
