The Islamic belief that human conception involves the mixing of male and female semen, with the dominant fluid determining the child's sex and resemblance, originated from ancient Greek medical theories (Hippocrates, Galen, Aristotle) and was transmitted through Jewish Talmudic sources (Vikra Rabba 14:9, Nida 31a) to Muhammad, who incorporated this concept into the Quran and Hadith; this creates an epistemic dilemma for Islam because if Gabriel provided false information to Muhammad, the Quran cannot be trusted as divine revelation.

Did Islam Get Female SEED from the Talmud? (Talmudic Dilemma Part 37)Added:
Oo wee. I feel like a spicy boy tonight.
It is currently 1:00 a.m. Who needs sleep when you can record YouTube videos?
What is Islam?
Is it Jewish or is it made by Muhammad?
What are the origins? What's the background of the Quran? Was it written by a man in the hij in Arabia? Was it written by Jews in Babylon?
What is the Sunna? Is it the stories of a real man or are they heavily influenced by Jewish understanding? Is the Quran from Allah or from the rabbis?
In this series, we're going to tackle what is the true origins of Islam.
Welcome to the Talmudic Dilemma.
Anyway, in this video, we're going to speedrun getting demonetized by talking about the two seaman theories. Uh so let's get into it. The Quran has this interesting concept in a number of its different surah about um mankind being made from a drop of semen or from the mixture of semens of fluids. And this is a bit of a weird idea. Well, let's look at the hadith and let's look at the Quran. Let's look at some taps here to understand what's going on with the Islamic sources on this topic. So we get in surah 53 ayia 45-46 and that he creates the two spouses the male and the female from a drop when it is poured forth. So this drop language is referring to deminal fluid which gets into a different section of the Quran where it talks about how our fluid originates between the backbone and the ribs which is really funny but that's not actually what I'm talking about in this video. So we also get in surah 76 ayat 2 that indeed we create manion from a drop of thickened fluid to test him so we make him hearing knowing. Well what does that actually mean? If we look at the taps here on this section it says verily we have created from man. Verily we have created a man from meaning mixed. The words mashag and mashik means something uh that is mixed together. If you like cooking up in the kitchen you're mixing up some pancake batter. This is the word you would use to describe that occasion. So we get here said occurring concerning Allah's statement from this means the fluid of the man and the fluid of the woman when they meet and mix. So this woman has fluid as well.
There's female semen. So that's going to be very important whenever we look at the origins of this idea. Then man changes after this from stage to stage, condition to condition and color to color and a variety of other scholars including mjahed all made similar statements to what Iban Abbas said about this and um that the amag is the mixing of man's fluid with woman's fluid. We get this both in the other tapsu we get this ini and alabari we also get it in a variety of different sections in the hadith. This is a very common idea of man's fluid and female's fluid mixing together. We even get descriptions of the fluids that man's fluid is white and thick and the female's fluid is yellow and thin, kind of sounding like pee, but you know, you know, whatever. I'm not going to get into female ejaculation.
Anyway, so we get descriptions even of them that matches some of these earlier traditions, which we'll look at in a little bit, but this is the common dominant view. Now, Muslims nowadays twist the meaning to say it's, "Oh, no, no, no. It's just like chromosomes or genes, and it's like the X and the Y chromosome." And it's like if you have two X's, then you, you know, becomes a female. If X and Y becomes a That's still not what it's actually saying cuz it's saying that which one overpowers or which one comes out first is the one that will determine sex and hereditary and resemblance. So the actual description itself doesn't match what's happening inside of a fetus through genetics and like all the knowledge we have now um using modern-day science and tools and technology. We understand embryology and uh conception significantly better than they did then.
And nothing in the Islamic sources matches anything at all that we have today. Um including the two semens theory. Uh which is also why if you look at like in the Quran it talks about how Mary had um essentially both semens and the reason why Gabriel/ Allah or them together blew into Mary's forge her her special um was to sexually stimulate her so that her semens would mix and she would cause conception. So that was the first time she had ever been titillated and I guess she was never tilated again after that point cuz she didn't have any more kids through miraculous conception even though she still had the facilities to make both semens. Anyway, different topic for this video. I want to focus in on the hadith and why this is important for a number of reasons. In Muslim 311 it says the prophet of Allah replied yes for where would the resemblance come from? A man's discharge is thick and white and a woman's is thin and yellow.
Whichever of the two rises to the top or comes out first, that is what the resemblance comes from. So, we get this idea of whichever one's dominant, whichever one overpowers it or even might have a speed aspect to it. All of that is related to which one comes out first, which one comes out on top. Is it going to be a man or is it going to be a woman? If the man arrives first, then it's going to be a boy. if the girl arrives first, which is not going to happen in Islam because they do female genital with female so they can't actually feel pleasure because they cut out the pretty horrible messed up practice. The vast majority of Muslim women in the Men region have this operation done to them which also causes other problems such as like fistulas during childbirth which then doesn't heal and the women basically leak poop out of their uh for the rest of their lives. Horrible, terrible, evil, disgusting religion practice. Anyway, we get here that in Sai Bakari 33:29, we get a similar relation except in that hadith, Muhammad says, "Oh, I was informed of this matter by Jabriel." So, this is information coming directly from Jabrel because uh Salam here is asking him, he is a rabbi. He's like, "Hey, I'm going to ask questions only prophets know." And he asks them about the meal of paradise and why a child resembles their father or their mother. And he's like, hey, a man has sexual intercourse with his wife and gets discharged first, the child will resemble the father. And if the woman gets discharged first, then the child will resemble her. So a part of the test of his prophethhood that he uses gabriel to understand and give an answer that's true to this Jew. He gives it and then the Jew accepts it, which is really interesting. We get a similar narration as well in Sai Muslim 315A.
The man's semen is white and the woman's yellow. When they mix, the man's semen makes the woman's semen male. By Allah's permission, if the woman's semen overpowers the man, it becomes female by the permission of Allah. The Jew said, "You have spoken the truth and indeed you are a prophet." Then he turned away and left. So the Jew accepts his teaching in this regard. Now the question to that is why? Why would a Jew accept something so preposterous? Well, what if it's in the Jewish sources itself? What if it's in the Talmud? And this would be what he is teaching of himself which is exactly the case. But before we get to that, I want to point out one other passage which will come up as we're reading the midrash on this topic. In surah 96:2, Allah created man from enl from a blood clot. So we have man being created from a blood clot to begin it. Then there's different stages of development in embryology. So, we're going to see all of the embryology, the blood clotting, and the two semens within Jewish sources all in one sweet little chapter of the Talmud and of the Midrash. So, let's going to go through that. But before we go through that, let's go through the basis of how the Jews even came up with this idea, which is obviously, you know, false by today's standards, but back then it's like, yeah, it's pretty decent idea. Um, it's not like horrendously stupid, but it's not true. So, Gabriel gave a false fact to Muhammad to answer a Jew to as a test of his prophethood. So, if the mediating agent responsible for giving knowledge inside of the Quran is able to give objectively false information, you can't trust the Quran. That's the um epistemic problem of the Quran. There's a dilemma on it. Um I might make a video dedicated to that cuz there's a couple different versions of it you can do. But either way, you can't trust Jabriel with information because he can give false information. Therefore, you can't trust the Quran or Muhammad because Muhammad also gave the false information that he relayed from Jabriel and both of those two are the sources of the Quran. So, Quran you can't trust. Islam is false.
Anyway, let's go through the actual background to where this belief came from in the two seammens. And it starts with most things with the Greeks specifically Hypocratus and um Gallen Galen and um Aristotle these physicians philosophers they are very heavily involved in influential in much of the medicine that comes out way way later in history. Even like Al-Razi which Muslims love to point up as a Muslim and he wasn't. He was likely an agnostic or an atheist. He hated Islam which is really funny. that like Iran has like a day celebrating his life and he has like some scathing remarks about like the Quran is the dumbest book he ever read and Muhammad was a false prophet.
Anyway, we have here in Aristotle's writings that there's this development of the idea of uh life being formed through blood clots and we have the he discusses semen and then Galen in his response to Aristotle is like oh no there's two semens and the women actually in Hypocratus also has this in his writings as well the women also produce semen from an organ. They believed it was the ovaries that produced semen and then the semen themselves would mix with the male semen from the testicles because they were smarter than Muhammad and that. But there is discussion of it becoming between the backbone and the ribs which is how Muhammad even got that idea to begin with. But there's debates on where that came from. We have in the Greek sources pretty much all of the seaman seaman knowledge Muhammad has is in the Greek sources and these Greeks were highly influential. But to get a an overview of it, we have a bunch of scholars that have written on it.
Rebecca Fleming in uh Cambridge Press.
This is Galen's Generations of Seeds. Uh she summarizes the accounts of Galen and says that the theory states that Gillan's model became the dominant version in later Greek medical schools and was eventually translated most extensively into Syriak and Arabic. Then a compact um summary of his viewpoints would be that both parents contribute the sea. They both have semen. A female semen is weaker and thinner and a resemblance of uh the child and the sex of the child arise from which of the two semens was dominant in either quality, quantity, location or um like stock.
Like if you're a nice person, it's like you have better quality sperm. So if you arrive first, that's going to make a difference. If you have a giant load, that's going to make a difference. And this video is not going to be monetized.
And if you uh do it the right, you know, in the right hole, it's also going to make a difference. You can't just, you know, willy-nilly shove it up in the butt and it's going to produce a child.
So, he was smart enough to know that and um that is kind of the dominant view for a very long time. Gallen's works were translated into Syriak by the Christians through the Byzantine Empire. So, the Christians had it and they circulated it everywhere. And we've seen already in the series that bunch of the Christian Syriak traditions, homalies, myths and stories are already uh repeated within the Quran over and over and over again.
Um I just did a video on that with um several of this. So like all of Surah 18 is just a response to Syriak traditions and myth that came before Muhammad that he is basically repeating in the Quran.
So we see that he's interacting with the Syriak notion of it uh or the Syriak sources and these Syriak sources had this Greek medicinal knowledge in it. So he definitely could have gotten this from the Syriak side of it, from the Christian side of it. Um or even from the Arabic because it was popular enough that it was even circulating at the time of Muhammad and after the time Muhammad especially in central and southern Arabia very very common and also the Persians had it. So we get this in the Zoroastrian writings that this was also a view that they had of the two seammens they reads within their text as well. So this is all over the place. But now I'm going to read from the Jewish sources cuz that's kind of the point of the series is he could have gotten this from anyone. Like everyone believed this around him. So the fact that he believed it is not surprising whatsoever.
Everyone else believed it as well. So who did he get it from? I'll let you guys decide in the comment section who you think is the most likely. I think the Greeks obviously originated it, but whether it was the Christians, Persians or Jews, which one of the ones do you think actually he got it from? So, let's read the Jewish version so you can get a comparison to Galen. If you go look up um Deceit to uh translates to on Seaman. So, if you go read on Seaman, you'll get Galen's interpretation and understanding of this passage. But let's go through Vikra Rabba 14:9 and then also we're going to go through Nida 31A. Vikra Rabba says, "The formation of the fetus in this world is not like its formation in the world to come. In this world, it begins with skin and flesh and continues with SNOs and bones, but in the future it begins with snoons and bones, senus and bones, and concludes with skin. So we get this idea of you start out with clot then you uh you pop into bones and you develop flesh over the bones and you know you so on you develop outward. So it's very similar embryology and stages of creation which is also again not original to the Jews but the Jews also had it and Betel says so the house of Helis was a school just as a fetus is formed in this world it is formed in the world to come in this world it begins with skin and flesh and concludes with senus and bones a woman's and then you know I continues it and I I cut out a couple paragraphs but then it ends with something else that I thought was interesting a woman's womb is filled with blood and from there it emerges and goes to the place of her ministration.
By the will of the holy one, bless be he, a refined drop goes and falls into it. So a sperm drop and immediately the fetus is formed. This is an algulus to milk that is situated in a bowl, if one places renet into it, it congeals and sets and if not, it remains loose. So that's like how you make cheese. So it's saying, hey, if you drop a piece of renet in a bowl of milk, it's going to go and become a block of cheese. Um, which is literally how it happens. Even if you've never made cheese before, I recommend it. It's a fun process and it's not that expensive. If you just need like whole milk and a cheesecloth and vinegar, you can make ricotta. It's yummy, too. Uh, if you do it right.
Anyway, we have this idea of a the womb being constantly filled with blood. And this is where menstrual blood is coming from. It's coming from the womb. It sounds like a blood clot cuz it's literally like it's being compared to cheesem. Again, if you go look up a video of cheesem, it's literally you put the drop in it and then it instantly clots and like congeals into a mass. And then it says from that mass you get the bones and senus and flesh and skin and all those things. So it's very similar to the QR. Anyway, we also have in Nida 31a uh paragraph 9 on safara the sage is taught there are three partners in the creation of a person. The holy one, blessed be he, his father and his mother. So there's three people involved with creation. God, the man and the woman, which makes sense from his father. His father emits the white seed from which the following body parts are formed. The bones, the senus, the nails, the brain that is in its head, and the white of the eye. The mother emits a red seed from which are formed. The skin, the flesh, the hair, and the black of the eye. So we have that there's again a red seed. The idea of like the blood clotting again appears. So the yellow side of it that we get in the taps here that we get in the hadith that's more so coming from the Greek side of it um which the Christians also had within theirs it might be a combination of the two where you have the Christian sources and the Jewish sources being cuz that happens sometimes in the Quran. Oh and the holy one blessed be he inserts into him a spirit and a soul his countenance his eyesight hearing of the ear the capability of speech of the mouth the capability of walking with the legs understanding and wisdom. When a person's time is to depart from the world arrives, the holy one, bless be, retrieves his part so he snatches up the soul and he leaves the part of the person's father and mother before them.
Raf papa says this is in accordance with the adage that people say remove the salt from a piece of meat and you may toss the meat to the dog as it becomes worthless. So that also gets a little bit into the idea of sleeping death cuz um the idea is like God snatches your soul out of you whenever you're dreaming and um then he has to put it back into you otherwise you're basically a corpse.
different video. I already made a video on that if you want to check it out. The attribute of flesh and blood is that when a person plants seeds, this I skipped a couple chapter or paragraphs of a different species in one garden bed, each and every one of the seeds emerges as a grown plant according to its species. But the holy one, bless be he, forms the fetus in a woman's womb and all of the seeds, i.e. both the father and the mother emerge when the offspring is formed as one sex. So you have both male and female seed.
Alternatively, when a drier or when a dyer puts herb in a cauldron, they are all emerge as one color of dye. Whereas the holy one, bless bee, forms the fetus in a woman's womb and each and every one of the seeds emerges its own type. In other words, the seed of the father form distinct elements such as the white of the eye. The seed of the mother forms distinct elements such as the black of the eye which is the explanation of the passage. So Rabbi Yak says that Rabbi Ami says the sex of a fetus is determined at the moment of conception.
If the woman emits seed first, she gives birth to a male. If the man emits seed first, she gives birth to a female. So, this is the opposite of what is being spoken about to the Jew. But it's the same exact idea, which is likely why the Jew accepted it to begin with, cuz that is also what they believe. But it gets a little bit more explicit, which is really funny. As we see here, the sages taught at first, people would say that if the woman admits seed first, she gives birth to a male. And if a man admits seat first, she gives birth to a female. But the sages did not explain from which this verse is uh is you know derived. How do they come to this understanding? Until Rabbi Tazdok came and explained that it is derived from the following verse. These are the sons of Leo whom she bore to Jacob and Panam with his daughter Dina. From the fact that the verse attributes the males to the females and the males are called the sons of Leia and it attributes the females to the males. So in the tall mood you get this idea of if uh the woman emits seed first she gives birth to a male and if the man emits seed first she gives birth to a female and they use this passage of Genesis 46 to show that it's their proof text. So they're still using the idea of the two semens mixing and creating the kid yet they are swapping the genders of the offspring because of this Bible verse.
So they're still have the Greek foundation. Then they always try for like you see this very commonly in the Talmud. Every single belief they have, they try to ground in a verse of scripture. Now it's not usually in context and it usually doesn't even have the same meaning. It's almost always is Jesus, but they still try to grab a verse of the scriptures and use those words to justify that belief. Not in an exogenetical way, not in a way that actually makes sense in my opinion, but they do it as a way to establish the authority of their teaching and belief.
So here we have a Greek thought, Greek belief that they probably believe is fully true. Then they try to establish its veracity and its truthfulness from the Torah. Really really funny in this process though is one of the rabbis was super super proud and boastful about this idea of the two semens mixing. And uh this is just one of my favorite passages of the Talmud. It is in a person's power to have as many sons and sonsons rather because they delay while they're in their wives abdomen. So while they are they can just you know stop and wait anyway. So so he's uh refraining from orgasming it literally I'll just read it rather because they delay while in their wife's adamant initially refraining from admitting semen so their wives will admit seed first in order that their children will be male. The verse describes them credit as though they have many sons and sunsons. And this statement is the same as what Rav Kitna said. I could have made all my children males by refraining from emitting seed until my wife emitted seed first. Rava says another method through which one can cause his children to be males. One who wishes to make all his children males should engage in intercourse with his wife and then repeat the act so that his seed is guaranteed to be last is the idea. So in in the tall mood we get the same idea of if you just control your flow, you control your pace uh and you control when you bust then you can guarantee what gender your child will be. Now the obvious question is surely some dudes have tried this and uh test this is a very testable claim as far as like the veracity of the truthfulness of this idea but it's obviously false. It's obviously not up to date with our current understanding of embryology, our current understanding of genetics and reproduction and biology. It's just it's not there. That creates a massive problem for Islam. It doesn't create as massive of a problem for Reubenic Judaism because that's not the purpose of rebic Judaism. So why does Islam copy this thing from sources that predate it by millennia even for the Greeks? And yet it's false. So this is man-made ideas, man-made doctrines, man-made motifs that have been developed over centuries before Muhammad that he is copying. That is also false. False. And I'm sure there's going to be Muslims in the comment section be like, "Oh, this is a scientific miracle. It's been proven. Alhamdulillah, this is increased my im." No, it's not actually. It's not.
So, um, all of those things have been debunked. There's no like scientific miracles of the Quran. Uh, your faith is entirely copied from people who came before you, man, not prophet, and you are believing a false prophet down into hellfire. Please consider this information and come to Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior and your God, who you're currently denying. So, may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you always. Goodbye.
Goodbye, mate.
