Why Your Brain Keeps Pulling You Away From Your GoalsAjouté :
anything that is a low-value or priority to us unconsciously. We need to be more strategic to go out and achieve that goal. And there's a few things you can do. One is you can start to link this goal with your authentic self. Let's say you want to get into the gym more. You can ask, "How does me getting into the gym more, how does that serve my authentic self?" Because there's every chance that it's actually conflicting.
When I was working with a lot of people in my personal training days, when they were in the gym, especially if it was during the 9:00 to 5:00 hours where they deemed they should be working, they would be pulled back to work or their phone would be ringing, they would be distracted. Their mind is doing everything it's been designed to do to pull them back to priority. We either set a different time to make sure that this person doesn't get interrupted there, or we link how them doing exercise at the moment is actually going to help their business. And you can sit down, you can write out 50 times, "How does me getting into the gym and working out, how does that help me get more business?"
