Originally engineered as a low-cost 70-mm helicopter-launched laser-guided rocket, Roketsan has evolutionary adapted the KART architecture specifically to address low-altitude asymmetric Group 2 unmanned aerial threats. The Air PUSU-C configuration integrates a highly mobile remotely controlled turret with four ready-to-fire canisters and a sophisticated sensor suite utilizing Aselsan's advanced AESA metamaterial radars alongside an electro-optical or infrared gimbal for precision target acquisition. To secure a high probability of kill against small, fragile loitering munitions, the adapted missile is fitted with a specialized high-explosive warhead, modified flight control algorithms, and a radio-frequency proximity fuse.
