Outsmarting Nature: Sewer Rerouted the Right Way 🚧💧

[00:00:00]Today we got we got our customer day.

[00:00:01]She had some collapsed [music] cast iron old pipe here. She was having some backup. So we came in here.

[00:00:07]We tied into our existing clean out that she already had. We ran it down. The old piping came right through here through this channel. She had a bunch of big pecan trees all in this area. They're all gone but the stumps are still here.

[00:00:16]So the stump's about this big big around takes up this whole area and we can't dig here with a tractor because of the J A locates. So what we did is we dug our trench all the way to the tap. Came in and we just rerouted. We rerouted all the way around all these roots and this tree stump. That way later on when all this stuff starts trying to grow again it won't grow through our pipe causing it to collapse like it did before. So we got it all tied in. We made sure our fall's real good. Kept it just a full bubble.

[00:00:43]Make sure we pack dirt up underneath the pipe that way it doesn't settle in our fall or get a belly in the pipe. [music] We just run right back into the city tap over here.

[00:00:51]When we're done we'll take all this dirt. We'll fill our hole and then as you can see we laid all of our sod to the side. That way when we're finished we can put it back and it's almost like we were never here.
