[00:25:37]Uh which is basically an endoscopic um kind of procedure where something is done in your body. On my case, it's for stent placement. So I know you guys are wondering what's happening. What's ERCP?

[00:25:50]What's I don't know. Yeah. Anyways, I'll just give you a brief. Hopefully I can take just 2 minutes. M >> so I have been battling breast cancer since 2024 uh end of 2024 and um in the process of me battling breast cancer I did get a liver um condition or an infection if you would like to say so after I got that the my doctors and specialists determined that I needed a a liver resection and uh when I got the liver resection I've said this story so many times Now I don't know what to say and what not to say but I'll just say it's a fresh maybe a section.

[00:26:32]>> Okay. So basically a liver resection is um a procedure where part of your liver is chopped off. Uh like the damaged part of your liver not like you like L can't go to the hospital and say chop off my liver. No it has to be damaged. So once it's um it's chopped off now that gives you a better chance of your liver regrowing because it has the capacity to do that which is a privilege and um yeah so I did get that and in the process of now keeping up with the medication uh my appointments and recovery process I did go to my specialist on the 14th of >> m May this month >> and then I was having like some prior issues before the appointment. So when I went I I got a couple of tests and also a scan which determined that my um so the liver has a combination of the bile duct and the bile ducts are used to let through the the bile juice which is produced in the liver. Right? So they realized that that fluid was not coming out like completely. So it was leaking through the part of my liver where the resection was done. So the scarring that had been caused um you know when the scar is healing from the inside it makes the bile duct narrower. So it's like the it's like the scarring is just covering a certain part so it becomes narrow. So when that happened that means um the bile cannot pass through. So it's leaking from the points of scarring from the liver reception that I I had gotten before. And um why that is harmful is because the bile is an acidic um juice that is produced in your body and it's supposed to be like it's supposed to come out as an outlet. It's not supposed to stay in your body, right? So now that it's leaking at the moment, we have to find a way of getting it removed and making sure that the bell ducts are widened enough so that the bell can easily pass or or flow through without um coming out through the scarrings. And that is because if the the bile keeps leaking, my liver cannot fully recover. it will actually do the opposite. It will worsen and I would probably need I would probably need a liver transplant.

[00:29:06]But yeah, if we can be able to get the stems and widen and the bile can pass easily, then that means we can easily recover and uh because it has the mechanism of growing back and getting better over time, then I guess I can be okay. Why that's important is because immediately after I'm done with my liver treatment is when I can get clearer scans and tests for my breast cancer to see where we are at and to see if I'm on remission or I am not yet and if I need to get more medication, if I need to get more procedures or whatever the case the the doctors decide. So yeah, that's basically what has been going on.

[00:29:52]And um it's been a journey of a couple of months, but I'm grateful. I'm alive.
