GLP1 LIVE: Honest Answers To Your Questions Zepbound Ozempic Wegovy RetatrutideHinzugefügt:
Everybody. body.
Yeah.
Rock your body.
Yeah.
Everybody, hello. Happy Thursday. Happy day of ths.
I'm your host, Alawishas, and I'm bringing it to you full energy tonight. We were doing it last night live over on the downsized. I was bringing it to you in the craziness.
We're doing it again tonight here. I hope everybody is having a phenomenal week. I can see you already in the comments section. So, let's jump right in. Francine was saying she was loving my my thumbnail for the live. I've been having a lot of fun with um chat GPT making the images. I'm like, turn me and Kevin into a superhero. add GLP1s, make it the size of an a YouTube thumbnail.
I've been having a blast with that. So, thank you, Francine. I appreciate that.
Yukon Jack is in the house tonight.
Hey, there's Miji. Hello.
Hello.
Journey of life. It's always good to start out the live with a chuckle. Plus, I mean, I got a new Backstreet Boys shirt, so I I mean, I had to. I had to.
I'm a sucker for a, you know, 90s boy band. What can I say? 90s 2000s. What can I say? The good old days. Joaniey's here. Hello. Penny and Joanie are in the house. Yes, you are.
Hello.
By the way, I was shopping. Shocker. Uh, and I was on Facebook and this little shop popped up and no joke, it was this gorgeous like front door mat and it said hello, but it was like the Lisa Frank handpainted kind of bright colors leopard print, but it was like hello across the I was like, "Oh god, I gotta get that." So, I saved it for later.
Satia's here. Hi party people.
Getting down tonight.
Getting down tonight. Dancing. Dancing.
Dancing. Hey there.
Okay. All right. Hold on.
I gotta I gotta move my There we go.
Technical difficulties. It wouldn't let me scroll down. All right. Dreamcatchers 1982. That's a good year right there.
Hello Ally and all from Central Florida.
Good job on the downsized debt last night. Thank you. Yeah, I I really really super love them. They are fantastic people just in general. Bear, are you okay, buddy?
Sucks getting old. Are you all right, bud? He can't hear me, by the way. I But I always ask him if he's okay. Go drink some water.
Go drink some water, bud. It's okay.
He's older than dirt, you guys. Sorry about that. Anyway, I always have a blast with them. So, when Christopher called me and was like, "Hey," I was like, "Yeah, it was fun."
Hey, Roxan's here. Hello, JC. Starting us off strong. How have you been this week? How you doing? Okay.
We're going in with the QQQ.
Does your live start earlier than 6:30 Central time? Does it start at 6? So, I have it set for 6:30 Central time, but I hate to wait. Um, I'm I'm not a good waiter. Like, when I am sitting waiting for Dave on the pen to go live and he's like 3 minutes late, I am the one person that's dying in the chat and I'm like, "What's happening? WHY ARE WE NOT LIVE YET? I just I don't like waiting. It's just my personal my personal personality flaw, if you will. So, I don't like making people wait and so I just go ahead and jump in as soon as I'm ready.
I I don't just sit around and wait for 6:30 to start. But it just adds time to the live, right? Because I still stay like the full amount of time. So, yeah.
So technically 6:30 if I had something going on, it gives me a little bit of a buffer because I'm like coming straight off of getting off of work. So if I needed a little bit of buffer, I've got one. But yeah, I'm I'm usually starting at 6 cuz I'm just crazy like that. But yeah, technically starts at 6:30.
Geckos, what's up? Hey, the way you were saying my username last night had me cracking up. That's what it says. Geckos.
That's That's what it mean. That's what it says. What do you mean? What is your meaning?
I love it. I think it's fantastic. But I'm glad you were entertained, too. Hey, Aussie girl's here. Good morning. Good morning in beautiful Australia. How are you? How you been? How's your week been?
Christy Anne is in the house from Tennessee. watched last night's live.
Great show. Yeah, we had a blast. We really did. We had a good good time.
Miji cracking me up with the tuner omeolet.
Tuner omelette. Um I I have I have everything prepped. I have not made the video yet, but it is it is in my queue to make it. So stay tuned for that one.
I'm excited. Hey, Todd's here. Todd is in the house. Wow, two lives in a row.
Not sure I can handle that much fun in a 24-hour period. Listen, how do you think I handle it? This is my life. I live my life like this. Anyway, but I'm going to give it a try. Yeah, you better. You better. It was fun watching you and Christopher last night. Yeah, he's a real hoot. I gotta tell you, I I really really enjoy both he and Lorraine.
They absolutely keep me cracking up and they keep they're like, "You got to come to the cruise. You got to get on the cruise." And I'm like, "Yeah, if I could get off work, that would be great."
Watch you on the downsize yesterday.
What a great live. Yes. Thank you, M.
Callie. So glad you're hanging out with us tonight, too.
All right, Carolyn here.
Ally, is your necklace made of candy?
No, I wish it was. Um I I wish that it w it looks like it is, right? Like one of those candy necklaces, but it's those little tiny I'm going to pull them apart here so you can see them. They're kind of like little flat circle beads. So, I made this myself to match my shirt. By the way, if you don't have mag magnetic clips for your necklaces, what are you even doing in your life?
Get on Amazon. This makes I Oh my gosh, I Every single necklace that I own has to have one on it because it just makes life easier.
But yeah, but it does look like it's made of candy. Caroline's got a good eye. Okay, JC said, "I thought GLP were supposed to constipate you. Why do I have non-stop GI issues when I am on them? Yeah. So, it just depends on how your body responds, right? For some people, it's going to be that constant battle to stay in front of constipation.
That was me. Um, for others, it's the constant battle dealing with um, you know, diarrhea, dia.
So, um I hope somebody has me like on their big TV or something or they've got me propped up somewhere and like their kids are running around and I'm like Dia Sharia.
That would just make me laugh. Um anyway, so yeah, it just depends on the person. Um we don't have any data or anything that explains like who would be predisposed to it. It it's just luck of the draw. Um, I personally think, and this is just my personal opinion, I ain't a doctor, but um, I think it has to do with potentially what kind of GI issues you may have had previously.
So, that may have something to do with it. Like, for me, I was lactose intolerant and um, gluten sensitive and it was I mean, it was just rough. like and I couldn't eat things that were high fat, right? It was like instant dia. So now I've gone the other direction now that I'm on a GLP1 and now I have to stay in front of constipation.
So yeah, I I don't know that we'll ever get any data on that, but you know, kind of it it's just one of those things.
There's a gnat flying around. Nattynat.
Hey, Ronnie's here. Hey there. I enjoyed you and Christopher last night. Yes, we It was so much fun. I told him like as soon as we were done, I was like, we have to do this again. This was great.
Hey, Shel's here. Great seeing you on the downsize. Thank you. Yeah, I had a blast, JC. All right, I'm going to I should make a a super chat goal that's like we we need a super chat for every time JC asks a question and then I would I would reach my super chat goals in like no time because I love JC. Okay.
Is it a good idea to get your shot on Friday if I have a history of binge eating on the weekend? Yes. But here's the caveat. Okay. And now I have these challenges as well. So let me explain to you my thought process and maybe that will help you um to to kind of navigate your own situation. So for me, I wanted to make sure that I had the highest level of suppression over the weekend, right? That's when I'm going out to eat. That's when I'm with friends. I'm with family. We're going we're like going out for lunch, going out for dinner, going out, we're ordering food, right? Like that's really the time frame when I don't want to say that things are outside of my control, but they're just not pre-planned, which is how I do my meals for the week. I plan them out to help with decision fatigue so that I don't end up in a binge. So, um, so what I do is I I took my first injection and then I took extensive notes on the side effects that I was having. And if you want to go watch those videos, you absolutely can.
They're in the weekly updates. You can go watch my very first week being on trappepide.
So, I was gauging not only my side effects, but I was also gauging, okay, how long did it take for this to kick in? How many days did I have optimal suppression before it started to wear off, right? Because of the halflife. And that way I could say, okay, if I take it Friday morning, then it's really kicking in by Saturday morning and then I've got full suppression until, you know, Tuesday afternoon, right? I'm just throwing out a time frame here. So that way I was really covered kind of over that weekend time when things can get crazy. So yes, I would say however your schedule works, right? Because not everybody is off on the weekend. Some people are working. However your schedule works, whatever kind of days of the week is going to be the most challenging for you. I also recommend this strategy for people who have challenges um around alcohol because this can also help right when that suppression is highest that is when you really want to utilize it as a tool right because that's what it is it's a tool that's helping us and you know make it work for you. So yeah, so take a look at your schedule, track your symptoms, track what you're feeling. You don't have to do it every week, but if you're just getting started, it can be really helpful to gauge kind of, okay, this is how I when I need to take my shot so that it kicks in kind of at its highest level, right, with absorption.
So yeah, Jaci, great question.
Yes, that's that's what I'm quoting whenever I'm like, "Hello." That's That's what I'm quoting. Yeah. Love, Mrs. Dpire.
Hello. Hey there.
Good evening, Amelia Knight. Amelia of the night. The daytime of the night.
Well, hey, look. Here's trouble.
Hey there.
How you doing? We need to do another live. Everybody's still talking about it because it was awesome. Yeah, cuz Christopher and the rain are awesome.
Yeah, that's my new dance. My new dance moves.
Hey, Carol's here. Hey, girl. Hey, your skin is looking radiant. Christian, you are so sweet. Thank you so much. I super appreciate you. I um I I still have in my queue of videos that I need to make the um the skin routine that I'm doing because I refuse to spend a gab billion dollars on skin care products.
So, I have tested out a bunch of stuff.
So, just stick with me. Stick with me because I I do have it. I have a list like this long of videos that I want to make. There's just not enough hours in the day, you know? It's this whole working a real job thing. It's just it's really cramping my style. Hey, Freddy's in the house. Hey, how you doing?
Saying hello to everyone.
Well, lookie here. It's Barbara. It's Barbara from Wisconsin. Barbara, tell me what you're drinking tonight because I'm going to tell you guys what I'm drinking. And yes, this is a glass Voss water bottle because I'm sure somebody will ask me. Usually I've got my Stanley prepped, but I didn't have time to wash one. So, this is a a Voss glass water bottle in a koozie, which has this beautiful scenery on it. Got it off Amazon. Love that. Fits my glass water bottle, right? I'm I'm looking cool. Now in here is the secret to staying hydrated. You know how you guys are I'm always telling you that I struggle to stay hy hydrated.
No more.
I have cracked the code.
At first I was just influenced but then I was like oh no. Oh no. These people are on to something. This is not when everybody, you know, just gets on board with advertising something. No, the loaded tea shop.
So, these are zero calories, zero carbs, zero artificial color, zero sugar. They do have energy in them. So, it's like a um like a green tea caffeine.
And right now, I am testing all 40 flavors. And and as if that wasn't enough, I loved this so much that I've got two more brands on the way. I'm working on a coupon code for us for this one. So, I have it linked down. Oh, no.
I got the coupon code. Okay. So, I have the coupon linked.
I've been doing so much today, you guys.
Bear with me. So, I've got the coupon code linked if you want to try it. So far, my favorite flavors are the watermelon crush.
If you like watermelon, but you hate like artificial tasting watermelon, you're going to love that. And then my my second favorite so far, you're going to love this name. Where my Louisiana people at? It's called frog spit.
I'm not making it up, but it's blue sour, but it's not really sour. But that flavor, blue sour and pineapple, you guys, this is my third one today of this size.
How many ounces is this? Hang on. Hang on.
27.05 05 fluid ounces. This is my third one of these.
It is freaking phenomenal. And don't don't be alarmed by the sour in the name. It's not really sour.
Oh man, that's good. And I got it all over me. This is why I normally do a straw because I'm I'm special. Okay, so the loaded tease review coming soon. Oh my god. So good. So, Barbara, tell me what you're drinking.
Hey, Lorraine's here. Hey, girl. Hey, Lisa's in the house.
Hi, everyone. Ice Spy Skin Care. Oh. Oh, you're talking about the other bottles over here. No, no, Lisa, these are perfumes.
So, I've got a video coming out.
You guys get the inside scoop on all the videos. I've got a video coming out about why people who are on a GLP1 become addicted to perfumes and cologn sprays in general. Like, I've got a whole video about it. It is fascinating.
But in the meantime, in between time, I wanted to tell you about this one. Now, this is the one where I'm working on getting us a coupon code. I do have the I have it linked in my Amazon storefront, but there's no discount. So, just hold tight for me cuz not only am I going to be reviewing these, but I'm working on a coupon code, so stay with me. This is the brand Sensual and the scent is called Sugar Baby.
Hopefully you can see it there.
This is so good, you guys. It's so good.
So, it's like a It's like a cooked sugar type of scent. Does that make sense? I'm going to spray it again cuz I love this stuff. Now, I am I'm testing out some of the other scents. Um yeah, it's it's very much vanilla forward. It's like a cooked sugar. So, a very warm sugar, but it's very cozy. So, if you like vanilla, if you if you like something sugary, right? So, if you're like the Bath & Body Works, you know, what do they have?
Like the vanilla creme brulee or something. If you like that sort of scent, you're going to like this one.
Again, sugar baby.
Very sugary, very vanilla. So good. So, I'm doing a full review on these. I'm working on a coupon code for us for so stay tuned. So yeah, this other one is cocoa vanilla. It's very vanilla forward. I was really wanting it to be more coconut forward. So but that's okay cuz I've got other scents that are coconut. So this one is really fantastic, but it doesn't it doesn't last as long. So again, full review coming soon. But yes. Yeah, those are the the perfume sprays. So, yeah, I'm I'm so excited to review those.
Hey, there we go. There's my Louisiana people. Gwen's here. Hey there.
Barbara says, "Looking great today."
Thank you, Barbara. You're so sweet, Barbara.
Lorraine, I'm giving you heart eyes.
back streets back. All right. Yes.
You know, it's just I really wanted to make a video um for the first of May, you know, that was that was like the Backstreet Boys. It's going to be May, but everybody and their brother made that video and I was like, it's kind of overdone now.
It's kind of overdone, so I'm not going to do it. But I really wanted to. But I didn't have this shirt at that time. So if I had this shirt, I probably would have done it. GLP1 journey and review. I work in MRI. You can't have magnetic necklace. Oh, okay. Yeah. Yeah. Please be oh so careful with with the MRI.
That's that's serious business will suck you in. It's terrible. That always freaks me out when I see those stories.
I'm like, "No, click away. Swipe away.
Turn it off. I don't want to hear that, right? In case I ever, you know, need an MRI.
So, hey, Geekos says, "Do you do IM injection for your NAD?" I'm assuming you mean interuscular. No, I do subcutaneous.
I don't think NAD is interuscular.
I think I'm pretty sure it's subcutaneous, but yeah, I do subcutaneous. I don't know that I am tough enough for an interuscular injection. I know there are some peptides that you know that that's necessary. I don't I don't know if I'm that tough. I'm just being honest.
Yeah. I don't know. But no. NAD subq into the that JC said your lives are great. Do you go live on any other day besides Thursday? No. So, right now I just go live on Thursdays. So, um yeah.
Yeah, cuz my my work schedule is kind of crazy, but if if I can do more, I will, but they're just kind of like impromptu.
I don't have anything scheduled. But thank you, JC. You said, "My lives are great." I love you, man. I love you.
Hey, crazy cat lady in LA. Hey there. So fun seeing you guest hosting yesterday with the downsized. Yes, we had a blast.
If you guys Hey, oh my gosh, where did all you people come from? I'm so glad you're here. Make sure you hit that like button because it tells the algorithm that you guys are having a good time and it'll push the live out to other peeps.
Um, also YouTube has not been pushing my stuff out. So definitely hit that live button. I super appreciate live button, like button. If I could talk, that would be great.
Anyway, I'm all over the place tonight. Mary's in the house. Mary, Mary, Mary, Mary.
Okay.
Oh my god, I just logged on live and I heard you yell Dia Sharia.
Well, that's quite the funny welcoming.
Hello from Illinois. She's an Illinoisian. Hey there. That's too funny. I love that. I hope that everybody jumps in and I'm yelling Dia Sharia. I And I And I really hope it's a bunch of people who don't know who I am.
They're like, "Oh, let me let me just look at this GLP1 thing. Let me just click on this live dia."
Like, what what am I into?
I just think that would be fun.
Gwen says, "My daughter and I both on zetbound. She has no problem with constipation. I, however, do have that issue. Yeah, it it happens. I don't have my gallbladder anymore. She still has hers. Yeah.
And I can't even say that it has anything to do with gallbladder. Like, it's just people are all over the map. I tried very early on to try to, you know, accumulate some data around like, okay, what kind of people are having the constipation symptom versus people who have no symptom versus people who have dasharheia. I I couldn't find any. There was nothing correlating. It was like if it had been a dot chart, it would have been all over the place. I was like, "All right, I got to give this up because I'm not I'm not making any headway here." But I would I would love to know like like it's just a crapshoot, I guess, quite literally.
Okay. Aussie girl says, "First week on 12.5. I'm not diabetic. Normally 4.9.
This week dropped to 3.1.
Is this common? Feeling really off."
Okay. So when you say normally 4.9, are you talking about I know you're in Australia, other countries use different metrics.
This this is your blood sugar reading or this is A1C. This is not A1C cuz that would be very very low. Even 4.9 would not be would be very low. Aussie girl, can you help me out and let me know if that's if that's like your your blood sugar reading?
So, one of the things that can happen, I'll I'll just say this as we wait for her to respond. Um, one thing that can happen when you go up in dose is your suppression can go up and you may not necessarily notice it and then you eat less.
Then obviously your blood sugar is lower, you're not consuming as many calories. It can be problematic. That's actually what happened to me when I went up to 15. So, um, yeah. So, let me know.
Let me know. But definitely if you're feeling off, you you know the drill. You got to talk to your doctor.
So, it definitely depends on your own body. Yeah.
Hey, Miji's got an update for us. Using love handles and going well. Excellent.
I love it. Nicole Ray, GP1 in house.
Hey, hey everyone. Nicole was laughing um in the comment section of one of my shorts over on my other channel. If you're not subscribed to my other channel, which is Fit, Flavor, Fun Uncensored, that's where I talk about everything not GLP1 related, you're missing out on a lot of shenanie. And I love that Nicole Ray is always putting the laugh emojis in the comments. I love you for that. Thank you.
All right, JC, what is your opinion on tessamoralin?
Um, I am afraid of the HGH component, but I like how it's FDA approved to burn visceral fat. Yes. So, for those of you who may not be um up to speed on tessamorin, tessamorin was originally FDA approved for use in patients um that have visceral fat, right? And remember, visceral fat is the one that is surrounding your organs, right? It's the worst kind of fat that you can have.
It's crushing your organs. It makes your body have to work harder. it um raises your insulin resistance. It's just bad all the way around. So, what they found in certain types of patients with various diseases, disorders, cancers, things of that nature, um is that they would lose weight, but they would hold on to that visceral fat, right? The body didn't want to let it go, which in turn is problematic. So, Tessa Moralin is FDA approved to treat exactly that, the visceral fat. Um, and it's actually pretty good at it if you go look at the studies. So, what is my opinion?
Um, I think it's fantastic. I think that because of the human growth hormone, right, HGH component, um, that it is something you should one million% be talking to your doctor about. It's not something that somebody should just, you know, get on the gray market or research grade and just go to town. Yee-haw. Um, you need to be having a conversation with your doctor and it needs to be over an extensive patient history, right, to look at not only your own personal history, but your family history, right?
All of those things can factor in and you need to take that into account if you're going to be utilizing something like Tessa Morlin. Um, but as far as my opinion of it, I think it's fantastic.
Um, I I think it's great. I would love to use it.
So, but I'm trying to avoid the doctor's office right now because I don't want to have to pay a co-ay because my insurance is not fantastic at the moment. Um, but yeah. Yeah. If it's something that you're interested in, I would say talk to your doctor, go over your medical history, go over your family history, right? And make sure that it's a good fit for you because it will not be a good fit for everyone. So, great question.
Linda's in the house. Listen, Linda, fun last night with Chris and Lorraine. I enjoyed watching. I enjoyed I enjoyed just hanging out, having a good time.
Oh, thank you. You guys are so sweet.
I love you so much, man.
Okay, Sherry Price. Hi, Ally. I'm new here. Oh my goodness. Everybody send all your love to Sherry immediately. My sister referred me here. Hey, who's your sister?
Just started Trazepide. Okay, great.
Love that. Glad to be a part of the group. I'm so glad that you're here.
Listen, Sherry, if you have questions, okay, just put a QQQ or some question marks in front so I make sure that I grab them. Um, if you're not comfortable talking in a big public setting, that's okay. You could shoot me an email. You can talk to me in the Facebook group, which will be linked in in all my videos, but also in this one. We got a fun little group of people and we we post all sorts of fun stuff. Um, I'm reviewing a couple of AI uh generated menus, right? Like a 7-day and a 30-day menu. I'm double-checking it before I post it in the group, but like we all just kind of share stuff. So, if you're looking for support, obviously your sister is awesome.
Um, but if you're looking for more support, we are here for you.
Barbara's drinking sour apple frost from Aldi's. Barbra, that sounds delicious.
The green tulips. Hey, didn't know you are alive. Yes, I am the live. I'm drinking some English breakfast tea. Oh my goodness.
But it's not time for breakfast. I'm just kidding. I love tea.
I love all things tea. Kimberly is here in the house hanging out with us. How you been? How you doing? here from Fort Worth. It's warm but windy here tonight.
Windy.
Nicole Ray is drinking Pedialyte as usual. I just want you to know that there is a part of me that has to hold back a chuckle every time you say that.
just because I grew up with Pedialyte just being for kids and then as a a dog breeder, right? We used it for some situations with dogs and puppies and sports and things like that. So, whenever you say that, I'm always like, don't laugh. They got Pedialyte for adults now. It's not But that it still comes to mind and I'm like, a Pedialyte, man, that's good stuff. Even the popsicles are good.
Hey, Valerie's here. Hello from Massachusetts.
Massushes.
Thanks for coming to hang out tonight.
We got a ton of people here. Make sure you hit that like button.
Minimize the chat unless it's off to the side. But if it's in your way, just minimize it. Hit the like button and then just come right back. We're right here. We're not going anywhere. We're hanging out. We're having a good time.
All right, Sunshine Cleveland. Hey, hey, you mentioned a website and code for trying to get the medicine covered for sleep apnea. Am I dreaming this? No. If not, can we get the website and code again, please? Yes. Are you talking about get the medicine covered for sleep apnea? Are you talking about claimable.com with code fitflavorf fun? It'll be in the ticker down here. So, just to make sure that we're talking about the same thing, claimable.com, they will go to bat for you with your insurance company, right? They do prior authorizations. They duke it out. Give them the onetwo punch. And um they help to get your GLP1 approved. It doesn't necessarily have to be sleep apnea. It could be, you know, any number of things, but they specialize in GLP1s.
So, yeah. So, Sunshine, let me know if if that was the one that you were referring to. But yeah, it's claimable.com code fit flavorf fun.
It's It's already affordable, but then if you use my code, it takes extra off.
It's fantastic. Hey, Jen in Clear Water.
Hey there. Love my loaded teas. I get them from Herbal Life. Even the 15 grams of protein in them. So good. Yes. Yeah.
So, I got a variety. um off a Tik Tok shop that lets you choose um how much caffeine to put in it, if you want caffeine at all. Some of them let you choose, do you want collagen or protein? Do you want like it's it's like all these different options. So, I'm going to be testing these companies out cuz I got to tell you, this one, I'm impressed. And I just got it and just started drinking it a few days ago.
I am killing my water goal. And you guys know, anybody who's been here for any amount of time, I'm lucky if I even look at a water goal, let alone meet it. So, I am super excited.
What is the ingredients in the loaded tea? Yeah. So, um it depends on the flavor, but let me see.
and I'll do a whole video on it to to do the the breakdown. Okay, so like this one is Bahama Mama, which is orange energy base with pineapple and cherry lime.
Okay, hold on. Hold on. The print is so tiny.
Okay. Citric acid, natural flavors, sodium citrate, silicon dioxide, sodium bicarbonate, torine, sucralose, natural caffeine, B3, aloe vera. Yeah. And a folic acid, a whole bunch of stuff that I can't pronounce. D3, B12, B6, B5. Yeah, it's got a whole bunch of stuff in it, but I'll go over all that when I do the review because I I don't think that's the same thing in every single one. It might be different in the flavors. So, don't quote me on that, but I'll go over all the ingredients and everything in the review, but I know that the caffeine comes from green tea.
I did see that on their website. So, that's how they get away with the, you know, natural caffeine thing. But it's fantastic. I love it. Hey, Sarah's here.
Hey there.
It's me, Sarah from Adelaide, Australia.
Just wonder if you interested in maintenance now or still focusing on losing. So Sarah, since you brought it up, um, when I did the booty injection last week, which by the way, if you if you don't know what I'm talking about, you have to go watch my video.
Um, that week was rough.
It was rough and I I gained weight. So I am currently trying to lose that weight uh that I gained. So technically speaking, I have not committed myself to maintenance at this point. Um I'm getting ready to change up my workout routine because I'm going to be doing workout videos on this channel and I don't know. I'm I'm kind of hoping that that will help jumpstart the weight loss again. Not like a whole lot. I'm not trying to get crazy because I am I am very close to being at a normal weight range. Um but still technically considered um overweight according to BMI, right? Which we all know BMI is garbage. But yeah. Yeah. But just for my own comfort level, I do find that I feel better physically and I move better if I'm like 10 lbs lighter than I am right now. So, yeah. So, that's kind of where I am. Yeah.
Sorry if you're in maintenance. No, no, don't ever be sorry. Listen, I tell people all the time, don't ask me a question unless you want an honest answer because I will give it to you.
And I've had people ask me some off-the-wall stuff. So, yeah, trust me, you can ask me anything you want to. I'm totally totally okay with it. Okay.
Southern CJ says, "I'm drinking some chamomile tea. How is everyone doing?"
I'm doing great. I'm doing fantabulous.
Yeah, Doris in the house.
Okay, Barbara is drinking I'm drinking a transformed dark chocolate raspberry protein shake. Barbara, do you love it?
Do you love it? You have to tell me. You have to tell me immediately. You need to be typing right now. Barbara, do you love it? Cuz oh my gosh, I love it. I' I've been having one every morning. Like I have been waking up hungry and I'm like, "Don't worry, hunger pangs. I got you covered because I've got the Transform dark chocolate raspberry protein shake and I'm excited about it.
I'm so excited. I told you guys I bought I bought three tubs and I don't buy those big protein tubs that like that.
Like I don't do that because I will get tired of a flavor and then I'm on to the next. That's one of the reasons why I'm really excited about these mystery packs of the loaded teas because it's I I got two of them. So, I've got 40 flavors to try. What? My ADD brain is like firing off. It's just like, yeah. Oh, the dopamine.
Yeah, I love it. So, anyway, Barbara, let me know if you like it.
scents sound nice. Do they attract summerflying bugs, i.e. mosquitoes?
So, it's all about the dog. Um, I don't like to go outside.
I'm just kidding. Um, I go outside with my dogs all the time, and I do live in mosquito alley lane, if you will. So, I haven't noticed that it's drawing them in. Having said that, um, mosquitoes come for me. Like, it's the end of times anyway. It doesn't matter where they are. It doesn't matter who's standing around me. It doesn't matter what perfume I'm wearing. Like, apparently, I've just got that sweet meat and mosquitoes are like, "There she is."
And so, they will find me and they will bite me everywhere.
They do not discriminate. I've had bites on my face. Like I it's just it's bad.
It's been that way my whole life. Um somebody told me once it has something to do with your blood type. I don't know. Uh what is my blood type?
Kool-Aid. Delicious. I delicious.
Diabetic. Like I don't understand. The mosquitoes love me. So um so currently I've tested these two scents. I I wouldn't say it's any more than usual. I mean, they're not like, you know, divebombing me out of nowhere, but at the same time, um I'll keep you posted on that when it comes to to the other um scents cuz some of them are a lot stronger. So, sure, we will do a live from the cruise ship with an audience of 80 plus people.
I love that. I love that. The lives from the cruise ship.
Jennifer, Nebraska, howdy all. Hey. Hey.
Hey.
Lorraine says it's gonna be May.
Listen. Don't even get me started. You guys don't want me singing because it'll it'll get out of control.
Nicole Ray say, "I posted my first video in short this week." What? As soon as I was done, I had to hurry up and upload before I chickened out. Okay, I'm going to go watch it. Not Not right now. Just calm down. I'm in a live. I am going to write it down though so I don't forget. Hold on. Hold on. My trusty notepad.
Ow, hit my elbow.
Okay, I got to check for the perfume coupon code and then watch Nicole Ray GLP1 two videos.
Okay, I'm going to go watch it. Not right now, but when we're done, cuz then I get online and I watch all my stuff. So, yeah, don't don't ever chicken out.
Listen, just go look at some of the crazy stuff that I've posted. Just look at me hanging out and alive saying Dia Sharia at full blast, right?
Like, surely you you could not do any worse than that, right?
I will get emails from angry old ladies.
I cannot believe that you were talking about Dia Sharia. You better believe it.
Hey, Kimberly says, "My sense of smell has become very heightened." Yes, even if I get a whiff of rubbing alcohol, that smell stays in my nose for two to three days. Yeah, I used to love scented candles and there were so many I can't do right now. Kimberly, this used to be me.
Okay. So, you'll have to let me know where you are in your GLP1 journey, like how you how long you've been on it. So, for me, like the first 6 to 8 months, this was very much me. I mean, even just cooking food, I would get the whiff of something and I would be like, I'm out.
I'm out. I can't do it. Right? Like, and I would just randomly smell things that weren't there, which is weird.
So yeah, so let me know where you are on your journey. A side note, if you're having nausea, smelling rubbing alcohol is one of those things that can help you.
Geckos says, "Oh, I could never do interuscular subcq for life." Yeah, me too. I'm just a chicken, right? But then again, I say that I I was I was a big chickeny chick when I first started, you know, a GLP-1 using an auto injector.
Look at me now. I look forward to my injections. So, you know, it's one of those things.
Hey, Sherry's here. She's hanging out.
Sherry's, where your sister? Where's your sister?
Who's your sister? She did a good job.
Southern Soul Fire.
Hey.
Hey, Kevin's here. Hey there. Better late than never. Listen, Kevin, we were just talking about you.
Okay. And we were just saying, um, what is Kevin doing? Because we're waiting for you. We've been waiting this whole time. I've been singing songs and like talking to Barbara. Like, where have you been? I'm just kidding. I'm glad you're here. Hey, here's Lis. Greetings and salutations.
I used to say that um when I was younger. I think I saw it on like a old school black and white type video.
I don't know. It was probably Dracula and he was like, you know, being all proper and English and stuff. I don't know. I I saw it on a video um probably a VHS when I was younger and uh all the other kids would be like, "What is salutations?
What is that?
So little food for that. Hey, thank you Doris. Thank you. I had so much fun.
Venus in the house. She's waving with both hands or she's doing a dance move.
I don't know which one, but I like it.
So this old fire, she's like Louisiana.
Yeah. Listen, I'm drinking frog spit.
Is that a thing in Louisiana? That's got to be from Louisiana. I think the lady who owns this company or started this company, I want to say she lives in Louisiana. So tell me my Louisianians, is frog spit. Is that a thing?
It's so good. I keep making a mess though. I think it's because of all the condensation. Hold on. Hold on. Okay.
This is why I drink with a straw. Okay, if you were ever wondering, Ally, why do you always have a Stanley?
It's because I need a straw. I'm special.
Okay, Lancham from Newport Beach, California. Hey there, my Chirona.
I love it.
JC's got a question.
What is your prediction when reaunts on the market? Do you think insurance will cover it? Yeah. So, um, the price is going to be astronomical.
If you'd like to place your bets against me now, please do because I could use the money.
Yeah. The price is going to be astronomical.
Um, and insurance companies are not going to want to cover it. It is going to be, from what I can gather, it's going to be an escalation med, which means it's not going to come out and everybody's just going to get their hands on it, right? Like when Mangaro first came out, when Ompic first came out, right? It was like a we're giving it away like candy because they wanted to get people on it. they had the um the coupon code and people were paying $25 and it was it was the the good time, the best of times. Um it's not going to be like that with Retta, especially with as much as it's been hyped because a they don't want it to go into shortage and b I don't think that they want people to go straight to reta.
There are many people right in the community currently that have gone straight to rea right skipping over semiglutide skipping over trappepide straight to rea um which is fine but I think it's it's a bit of a different animal it's it's not the same I always say and I always remind people especially in the support groups these meds are not the same semiglutide is not the same as tricepide is not the same as ratutide.
They are different. You will react to them differently. One may work better for you than another, which is totally fine. Um, and I love that they keep coming out with stuff, but it's important to remember that they are really, really going to be on point when it comes to shortages because look at where we are now, right? with compounding. There is no way on this planet Earth that they are going to allow REA to go into shortage. They're not going to do it because they would never be able to get it back. There are already compounding pharmacies that are are making it. I was just contacted by a company this week that's like, "Hey, we want you to be our spokesperson. We're going to be offering Reetta." And I'm like, best of luck to you. Right? Like there are already compoundies doing it.
Imagine if it went onto the shortage list even for a micro second. I mean, it would just be it would flood the market.
It would be wild. Anyway, so um as an escalation med, yes, I think that some insurance companies will cover it. I think that they're gonna make people jump through a lot of hoops. Like we think it's bad getting trespatide or semiglutide. I think they're really going to put it to you if you try to get on rea. So that's just my prediction, right? I could be wrong, but I I think that's the route they're going to go.
Hey, Taran's here. Sorry. Had to attend a school board meeting. Um yeah, that is unacceptable. Absolutely not. Uh we don't like boards. Okay. We absolutely don't like meetings. And I guarantee you it could have just been an email.
Tell me if I'm wrong, Taran. Could it have just been an email? Then you didn't need to have a meeting. I'm just saying.
I say it multiple times a day. This could have been a meeting or it could have been an email. Sorry. Okay. JC says, "I took Grey Market Reetta, had severe sugar cravings and hunger. Is it the glucagon component that's causing increased cravings?" So, JC, if you went from um another GLP1, right? I I want to say you were on Marjaro if I remember correctly. Don't get mad at me if I if I don't remember.
Um, but if you're on if you're on another med, right, semiglutide, trespide, whatever the case may be, and you switch, there's going to be this kind of uh grace period that you have to give yourself to catch up and dose. And this is where a lot of people go wrong. And I've talked about this um in videos before. People think that because especially trappepide because trespatide is the king of appetite suppression currently they think oh this feels great I know what trespide feels and they get on rea and then it doesn't feel the same and not only that they also find that they have to go higher up in dose in order to start to feel the suppression.
So you may be having cravings and um increased hunger, right? Because previously that was suppressed by the trespide. So just kind of keep that in the back of your mind.
Make good choices, right? That's all you can do and you know you just go up in dose accordingly. But yeah, this is very very common and it is the exact thing that I hear people saying um that are switching from one GLP1 to the other even if it's semiglutide to draeptide right like there's that grace period where you've got to adjust but very very common with reta grace faithful GP1 journey yeah there greetings excellent job on the downsize thank I was having a blast, you guys. I I have so much fun hanging out with them that I sometimes I have to remind myself like, "Hey, Ally, make sure you act right, okay? You're on somebody else's channel.
Don't get crazy." Like, I can get crazy here and say whatever I want, right? Not hurting anybody but me.
But when you're on somebody else's channel, right, you got to tone it down.
Yes.
Right. Okay. Oh, Aussie girl. Okay, good. Yes. Blood sugar 3.1 is really low. I've never experienced a big drop before. Yeah. So, um depending on when you're having the low blood sugar first and foremost, talk to your doctor, right? Low blood sugar is a problem. You do not want to ignore it. You want to address it. Um, in the meantime, until you get into your doctor, uh, you may want to look at when you're having the low blood sugar, right? If you're doing a little finger pokey or if you have a a continuous glucose monitor, a CGM, you want to look at when you're having the low sugar, um, and just try to incorporate a complex carb plus a protein snack in that time frame. So for me, I was eating a very early dinner and so I needed to do a complex carb and protein snack kind of later in the evening so that I wasn't having a low blood sugar episode overnight.
But yes, please follow up with your doctor, right?
It's it's very important. I'm sorry that you're not feeling good. Make sure make sure after you um talk to your doctor that you that you give us an update.
Okay. Libs Natural says, "Love your lives. You had me laughing so hard with your barrel jeans." Comment. I just bought a pair. That's so funny. Yeah, there are some people that love a lot of the fashion that's going on. And I I try not to comment on it because I feel like I've become an old person.
I'm like, these kids now a day, these these whipper snappers with their laminated eyebrows, why does anybody need their eyebrows sticking straight up?
Woo. Anyway, I try I try really hard. Like I don't want to upset anybody. If you love barrel jeans, that's great.
I'm joking. Okay, look. You got me all upset about laminated eyebrows. Okay. Does anybody else feel that way about the eyebrows?
Like, I'm watching people's videos and the the eyebrow hairs are just going straight up.
I don't understand. I can't focus on a word they're saying.
It's terrible.
Okay. Marilyn says, "I'm on Zepbound 5 milligrams. I reached maintenance.
Should I go down to 2.5 Zbound or should I stay at five?"
Excuse me. So Marilyn, um, this is a really good question and it really is going to depend on how you feel. So absolutely go watch my videos on maintenance.
But what I would say to you is, excuse me, what I would say to you is, um, are you still losing weight at 5 milligrams?
Okay, that's the first thing. Um, if the answer is no, that your weight has stabilized and you're able to meet like your protein goals, your calorie goals, your water goals, right? All the things, fiber goals, fiber is important.
Um, then I would say there's no reason to change your dosing, right? Just just stay where you are.
Remember, the longer you are on a dose, the more side effects will go away. Um, the only thing that I haven't seen is like constipation. Like for some reason that just never goes away. Um, so yeah.
So, how are you with side effects? And how are you feeling? Do you feel like you have energy? Do you feel like you can meet your calorie goals?
So, let let me know. If you're feeling good where you're at and you're not losing weight, then why fix it if it ain't broken? just stay right where you are. Some people find that they continue to lose weight even when they increase their calories to maintenance level calories. If that's the case, then you may want to talk to your doctor about going down to 2.5. Before you do anything, I'm assuming your Zbound is covered by insurance.
If it is, check with your insurance and make sure that they cover 2.5 before you get off of five. Some insurance companies, they don't like you to be on the 0.5 doses for more than a month. So, I always encourage people double check that before you make any changes because, right, you don't want to go to pick up your prescription and it's like 20 gabillion dollars and you're like, "What happened?" Um, if you're paying for it out of pocket, obviously, you know, the cost. If cost is a factor and 2.5 is cheaper for you, right, then um you could absolutely give it a try and see how you feel. It it all depends on how you feel. So yeah, let me know. Let me know um how you're feeling on five.
Okay. Hey, dance team is here. Hey there. Enjoying the stream from Mexico this time. What? You went to Mexico and you didn't invite me?
I'm so glad you're here.
All right, Southern Soul Fire. I had an appointment with my psychologist today.
I asked about ADHD and eating because of the brain needing stimulation. He said there could be a correlation with it.
Yes. Could vary by person? Yes. I tend to snack. Okay. Did it cut you off at the end? Let me see.
and study or read or play games. I've moved to sugar-free hard candy. Yes, I completely understand that. For me, the the snacking was the first thing that I had to get under control. My latest snack, and I've got a video coming out about this, my latest obsession is I make my own ginger dressing like from a Japanese steakhouse. You know, that delicious salad dressing. I make my own and then I get iceberg lettuce. It is really cold, straight out of the fridge.
I cut it into quarters and I dip it like chips and it gives me that happy feeling of chips and dip. Even though it's not chips, right? Obviously, I know it's not chips, but that dipping action, right? I'm fine-tuning my recipe so that it's as healthy as possible. It does require some oil, right? and and there's some components there, but I I think I've got it down almost just right. But it gives me that satisfaction of like chips and dips, but it's salad.
It's a salad.
Anyway, you could use that with any dressing that you want. Um there's a lot of people that do it with like guacamole or pico or whatever it is that you like.
Taheen, you know, whatever whatever you like.
and you get excited about, go for it. If you're a ranch person, do the ranch, right? Find something that you get excited about and then do the dip.
Anyway, I've got a video. I'm going to be showing it to you guys, but that is what I have transitioned my snacks to.
And I look for the jumbo blueberries.
They're my favorite. And also, there's these ginormous grapes that are out right now. Have you guys seen these?
These grapes are like two bites.
Not like, oh, you grab a grape and you put it in your mouth and you No, it's like you have to bite it. It's so big.
They're huge.
They also happen to be delicious. I don't know what that's all about. You know, giant Godzilla grapes. I don't know, but they're really good.
Hey. Okay, everybody's saying hi to Sherry. Okay. Hey, Stacy's here.
So excited. Made it to a live. Yeah, we're so glad that you're here. Hey, Venus says, "Drinking Kool-Aid, zero sugar, marshmallow clouds." I Ally, I think you would like this one. Yeah, I I think just from the name alone, I would like that one. Okay, Genesis says, "Hi all from Jersey. My first live and comment with you." Well, hello there, Genesis. I'm so glad you're here. I'm shy on YouTube, but not in real life.
That's okay. It's totally okay. Just let me know if you have a question, right?
I'm I'm here for you. But I love that you're here hanging out. That's awesome.
Okay, Susan's here from New Hampshire. She's here for the shenanigans. She's come to the right place. Guys, don't forget to hit that like button. We got a whole bunch of people joining us tonight.
Thank you so much for coming to hang out. Make sure if you have a question, you put a QQQ or some question marks in front of it for me and I'll be sure to grab your question. Like Miji's question here. Can't find ingredients for transform. Can't do soy.
That's why I'm asking. I don't I don't know.
Talk amongst yourselves.
Ally, why are you wearing sweatpants in spring/s summertime? Um, cuz I'm on a GLP1 and I get cold. Okay, mind your business. All right, Transform HQ.
Dark chocolate raspberry. It is delicious. Okay, hang on. So, you said what did you say? No. Soy. Hold on. Let me let me do my old person thing.
Whey protein. Sunflower.
Prebiotic soluble fiber. Quin, natural flavors MCT, tapioca, cocoa powder, gum blend, whey protein isolate, Himalayan rock salt, sucralose, vitamin E, B3, B5, B6, B blah blah blah blah blah.
Contains milk. So, it doesn't have the soy warning.
So, I I think you're okay, but double check on the on the website.
Double check their ingredients because that may not be the case for every flavor. So, always check, right? Every flavor, but yeah, that was the one we were talking about earlier.
Lisa says, "Hey, hey, hey, hey there."
Okay, Ally, are you able to find out who does API for shed? Yeah. Um I I did not hear back. Um the the person that is my contact person was on vacation. Um and I imagine she's probably digging through emails, so I have not forgotten about you. I'm just waiting to hear back.
But yeah.
Hey, sending good vibes from New Jersey.
Listen, Linda from Texas saying, "Hey y'all."
Listen, Linda.
Love that. Gwen says, "Having a cup of blueberry pomegranate herbal tea." That sounds great.
Terra's in the house. Hey, hey, hey, Maryland.
Hey there. Okay. Hey, Judy from Louisville, Kentucky.
Okay. How do you get peptides if you're on brand name Marjaro and don't deal with a compound pharmacy? What do they cost by themselves? I like your shirt.
Hey, thanks. Okay, so let's back it up.
How do you get peptides if you're on brand name and don't deal with a compound pharmacy? So, there's a couple of answers to this. Um, you can talk to your doctor, right, your regular GP, and ask them uh if there's a specific peptide that you're looking for, um, if it's something that they prescribe and or if they will prescribe to a compound pharmacy. Uh, for malpractice reasons, many doctors won't.
So, just keep that kind of in the back of your mind.
Um, and then if that doesn't work, then yes, you would need to go with a teleaalth company that utilizes a compound pharmacy and then the doctor would prescribe it for you. Like many people use tryhed.com, right, which the coupon code is um in the description box. Um, they use them for NAD, they use them for Samorland, right? But they're not getting their GLP1 through them. And there's a lot of different options on the market. It really just depends on which peptide specifically you're looking for.
Um, and the cost is really going to vary. So, again, it's going to be based off of which one you're looking for. So, Judy, let me know what you're thinking about. Um, and then and then I can I can better assist.
Like to make things, ally, I took two split doses of 2.5 mro in the thigh this week. My sluggish weight loss ramped up.
I lost 1.8 pounds this week.
No side effects and my bowels are happy too. Thank you. Thank you so much for giving us an update. I love this for you. I love this for you. You know, people they rave about split dosing. I I personally enjoy split dosing. Um, but it helps so many people when it comes to side effects. Um, for some people it does help kind of get the weight loss going, right? Because it keeps that level consistent in your body rather than up and then down. So, I love that for you. That's so great.
Yay.
I always love when people come back and give me an update. Okay. Shannon says, "I made it. You're great on the downsides the other day." Thank you.
Okay.
Nicole Ray says, "No booty shots in this girl's future. Just saying." Yeah. No.
Uh, no more booty shots for me either, unless I, you know, become a skinny mini and that's the only option available.
Okay. Genesis has a question. Okay. I'm down 50 lbs on Zapbound. Nice. And stuck around 140 trying to get to my final goal of 135. Aren't we all I hear you. I love to strength train and see some recmp, but the scale slowed a lot. Do you move for would you move from 12.5 to 15 or stay? Okay, so when you are this close to your goal weight, Genesis, I want to put this in perspective for you. Okay, you're going to love this. You are one really good dump away from being at your goal weight.
I said what I said. I said what I said.
So you got to think about it like the closer you get, the more it's going to slow down. So if you are strength training, you're meeting your protein goal, you're staying hydrated, right? You're staying out in front of things like constipation, and you feel good, you've got good energy, right? you're having appetite suppression, good satiety cues, then you may not necessarily want to move up.
What you may want to do is switch up what you're doing. So, as human beings, what we have a tendency to do is we like to do the same thing over and over and over again. We will eat the same things over and over and over again. We will exercise the same way over and over and over again. And what ends up happening is our body adapts to what we're doing.
So what I would say is completely switch up what you're doing. If you have been doing uh a set strength training routine, you need to completely revamp it. Change it up because your body is like, "Haha, jokes's on you. I can do this all day long until we get tired and then we'll do it again tomorrow or Wednesday or leg day or right. You got to switch it up.
You got to do something different. So, switch up the strength training. If you're doing cardio, switch that up. If you're walking, it's time to do something different. Get on that row machine, you know, get run, walk, run, swim, do something different to to switch it up, right? And that way it will hopefully, fingers crossed, get get you going right to the last bit there. But just keep in mind that just because you go up in dose doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to lose more weight. So 12.5, you've still got that option to go to 15 if you need it. Let's switch things up.
Do a little fine-tuning. Maybe change your protein goal. Maybe up your fiber goal. Maybe um you know you you blow it out and have a higher calorie couple of days and then go back to a calorie deficit, right? Switch things up and let's see if that's enough to get you going and then come back next week and let me know how it's going for you.
Okay. Oh, and change injection site, Genesis. Let me know, are you using the same injection site over and over again?
And by same site, I mean same area, like back of the arm, but you're rotating arms, right? Or thigh, but you're rotating thighs. Let me know. Use a different injection site. Okay.
Well, hello there, Elimony 35. Newcomer here. Hey.
Hey. I'm so glad you're here.
Okay. What do you think about peptide?
Yeah. Which one?
Which one? There's a lot of them that are doing some really fantastic stuff.
Um, and there are are some that I'm, you know, I'm not a huge fan on, but I'm I mean, I'm not a doctor. Hey, there goes Kevin. Um, but yeah, let me know which one you're thinking about.
Francine's drinking matcha. I love matcha.
I got to be in the mood for it, though.
It's one of those things that's good.
Hey there. Hey, Ally. Just wondering if you're doing cardio strength training or a little of both. I do all of the above.
Um I am in full shenanie mode and so yes, I do both. Um I I should probably be a little more consistent when it comes to cardio.
What are you going to do?
So but but yeah, but strength training is a big one. Like I said, I've got some workout videos that are going to be coming soon. They're going to have fun themes like ' 80s theme, '9s theme, right? Hiphop, like all just all sorts of stuff. Be doing Taibo. We're going to do Jane Fonda. We're going to do it all.
It's going to be great. So, yeah. And then you guys can work out with me. I think that'll be fun and it'll help, you know, make me accountable.
Barbara says, "I love love love it."
Yay.
I love that.
I got so many people that are doing the dark chocolate raspberry. It's just good stuff.
>> Mary says, "My son just finished his last college course today." That's great. Finished double major with highest honors in three years. Proud mama. Oh, yeah.
He wanted a pina colada. So, I made him one virgin protein one for me.
Excellent. I love that. Well, congratulations to him. I'd love to know what the what the double major is if if you're comfortable sharing. I I always am interested to see what people are doing with their degrees. So, but that's awesome.
Good job, buddy. And good job, Mama.
Stormy's in the house.
Hey, Ali and Fam.
I'm late, but I listed a house today. So, good excuse. That is a good excuse.
Hopefully, you listed it for a redonkulous amount of money because let's be honest, that's that's the housing market right now. QQQ, did I miss the full Turner tuner video? Not yet. You have not missed it. Great job on the downsize last night. Thank you. I had so much fun. So much fun. No, you have not missed the video. Um I I promise you I'm I'm not going to let you guys miss it.
Lisa says, "Mosquitoes love me, too. It sucks." Yeah, it's the worst. I will be standing next to people that will not get one bite and I'm like, "Guys, I got to go inside. The bugs are getting me."
And they're just like, "Why you still wimpy? There's no bugs out here.
Meanwhile, I go inside and I'm itching to death. Look, I got I got a bug bite right here.
But I'm I have like 20 and they're like, "What happened to you?" I'm like swelling up like the blueberry girl and Charlie in the Chocolate Factory. I'm like, "I told you the bugs were after me." Right. People don't listen.
Nicole Ray says, "My dad used to say that mosquitoes and bugs love me cuz I'm so sweet." Yeah. My dad used to say, "You got that sweet meat." That's what they're after.
Stormy in the house. Yes.
Okay. Genesis says, "Also, I agree with you from another video. Since being on GLP1's, my perfume obsession has heightened tenfold. Like, what the effer?" Yes. Yes.
Absolutely. Yeah. So, Genesis, if you are not subscribed to my other channel, I just did a review of Juliet has a pew pew this expensive perfume brand. Um, because this this is this is my GLP1 life now. So, since you and I are now friends, you should come over and watch that review because it was wild. And there's more to come because I just keep buying stuff. I just Where did it go?
Here it is. Hold on.
I just keep buying stuff and I'm like, well, I'm just going to review it on my channel. So, I hope to see you over there. It's Fit Flavorf fun uncensored.
It's linked.
So, go check it out. Then we can obsess about perfumes together. Yeah, you are very welcome. And you're laughing.
Oh my goodness. Joining late. What are all of you people do? You better have hit that like button. Oh, you look at all these people. Holy cow. Did you guys all hit the like button?
I don't think you did. Somebody go look at it and tell me.
So good.
I'm telling you, I'm killing my water goal. Best thing ever.
Anyway, I'm so glad you're here.
Hey, Maryanne's here. Hey there. New here. Hello. We got tons of new people tonight. I love it. I just went up from 7.5 to 10 mro. Any advice? Uh, tasting egg, which I'm guessing is sulfur burps.
Yeah, I realize I'm not getting in the protein and water and exercise. Yeah.
So, it can be really challenging when you go up in dose. The only thing that helped me when it came to sulfur burps was digestive enzymes, and I have them linked in all videos. I also have them in my Amazon storefront. They're not expensive. They're not crazy. They taste good. Digestive enzymes. You can take them before you eat, while you're eating, after you eat. If you get, you know, um, those nasty sulfur burps, you can eat them.
They they just help. It is the only thing that helped me with sulfur burps.
The other thing you might want to do is if it's happening a lot, you may want to look at, are you eating often enough?
Right? are you having these big gaps in time between meals? So, take a look at that. And then also, what specifically are you eating? Um, I found that for me, it happened a lot after I had red meat, but it only happened in the beginning of my GLP-1 journey. I don't have that issue now. So, yeah. So, take a look at those and just do the best you can, right?
But, you know, just see if you can pinpoint is it a timing thing? Is it a digestive thing? Is it what you're eating? Once you can kind of narrow that down, if you see a pattern, right, that'll really help you. But thanks for coming to hang out. I love it. Everybody's got great questions tonight. Look, Jillian's also late. What are all you late people doing? Oh, you just made dinner. Okay. Well, I guess you got to eat. Downsize Live was awesome sauce last night. Yes, it was.
Yes, it was. Loved it.
Shannon says, "Where did you purchase Transform dark chocolate ras protein shake? Sounds delicious." It is delicious. So, um, the company I'll put it up here so you can see it. Not sponsored, by the way. The company is called Transform HQ, like headquarters HQ. terrible name, awesome protein.
Um, and the other thing that I want you guys to keep in mind if you decide to order from this company is that this is a meal replacement shake, okay? Not the same as a protein shake. The macros are a little bit different. So, make sure you take a look at it, right? And it meets your needs because it's got more in it than just protein. Like protein shakes, right? It's mostly just protein and whatever kind of sweetener and whatever kind of flavor and right they kind of go from there. But a meal replacement has more to it which can actually be really beneficial. So yeah, but Transform HQ you can just go to their website. Um they're usually running a special off of their Facebook. So you can go find their Facebook page. Again I'm not sponsored.
I just love it. But the reason why Shannon, we're all talking about the dark chocolate raspberry is because they have been out of it for forever and a day.
And anybody who's been here for any length of time will tell you that I started a smear campaign on their Facebook where I would comment every time they posted something and I saw it and I was like, "Yeah, yeah, you running a sale?"
Yeah. Where's the dark chocolate raspberry?
And they finally brought it back. I don't think it was because of me. I'm not taking credit for that, but it's just that good. I have been harassing them for I don't know, like eight months now. It's been out for a really long time. So, they finally brought it back and now I told everybody so we could all go get it. I ordered three tubs.
Hey, Kimberly says, "I'm excited. Two years in and it's been going on half the And this has been going on half the time now." What? I'm exactly Oh, not excited.
Exactly. Two years in and this has been going on for half the time now. Lucky.
Luckily, I still have them Body Works sprays. I've got a ton of those. Yeah.
Me, too.
Me, too. As a matter of fact, I should start going through and reviewing those because it would save me money because I've already bought those. Hey, Trisha's here. Hey there. Love seeing you last night on the downsized. My three favorite people. Me, too.
Listen, Linda. Salutations from Charlotte's Web. Thank you, guys. This is why I keep Linda around.
Thank you, Linda. I knew it was from somewhere. Anyway, the other kids were like, "Sutations? What's that mean?"
Thank you, Linda. You're the best.
Okay. All right. Let me see if I can catch up with comments.
Comments.
Yeah, loaded TE's are from Louisiana.
I've seen the ads. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the lady is from Louisiana. I mean, think about it like this. Can you think of anywhere else where somebody would come up with a flavor that's called frog spit?
Let's just be for real. Let's be for real for real.
Frog spit. I mean, even I kind of had to like I was like, really?
Really?
It's delicious. I I mean, it better be good, right? You're gonna have a crazy name. It better be good.
I give her kudos for creativity on that one. I just got two big big containers of the chocolate raspberry protein thanks to your recommendation. My whole family likes it. That's great. I love that. Yeah, I tried so hard to get them to sponsor me because um I I like a lot of their stuff, but they like the gym bros, man. Hey, Mitsu's here. Hey there. drinking strawberry watermelon electrolytes from Devotion in North California. I wanted to say Carolina for some reason. Love seeing you on the downsize last night.
Yes, thank you Diana.
Oh my goodness, Sandy. Thank you. You're very sweet.
Thanks for all you do. Tell Kevin hello.
I will I'll bring him back for you here in just a minute. He just went up. Oh, there goes the Seikka.
Okay.
Okay.
Hey, Jude. All right. I have 6 weeks till I go on Medicare Bridge. I'm on 11 milligrams of Trespatide, 3 months, and it's great. I have to decide on either 10 or 12.5 when I switch to the quick pen. Any suggestions? Yes. Um, my suggestion would be if you are still in a weight loss phase, go with 12.5.
If you are in a maintenance phase, start with 10.
Yeah. Um, you you're really kind of in the middle there, right? With 11 milligrams. I don't think you're going to feel that much of a difference either way unless you're just incredibly sensitive. Um, but yeah.
Yeah, I I would say if you're still in a weight loss phase, go with the 12.5.
Side note, I am biased. I love 12.5.
That is my favorite dose.
Hey there. Promise to tell you if I like Transform HQ dark chocolate raspberry. I feel like that's what we're talking about tonight. I bought it on your taste buds alone. Yes, I love it. Yay. I also got their hydration fruit punch. Okay.
Do you like the fruit punch? Oh, hold on. I think she's got another comment here. Tastes like my favorite Hawaiian punch. That's great.
I love that for you. That's fantastic.
Yeah, I've tried a bunch of their other flavors, too. Um, but none of them have stuck with me like the dark chocolate raspberry. So, I love that for you. Thank you for letting me know. It always makes me feel good when I review stuff or tell you guys, you got to get this, right? And people enjoy it and it it makes me happy. So Marjaro 5 milligrams I thought so JC I thought so.
Tur is king. That's why I'm not willing to risk it. I'm trying anything different. Yeah. Yeah. The thing is um you know as we get up into the higher doses I think that it's going to be more challenging for people to switch. I think that the people who have a lot of success switching are people that did not have results on whatever they were on. For example, people who switch from semiglutide to traceide, right? They tend to do better. Um, less side effects, more weight loss, um, you know, cuz they they weren't having luck with the semiglutide. It just depends on what your body needs. And my hope is that as we kind of move forward into the future of GLP1s, I I I hope that they'll be able to pinpoint like what's the best option for the person based off of what they have going on. That's that's what I hope for.
Hey, Judy says, "Please give Kevin the gang hugs and kisses for me. We don't have any fur babies here." Oh, yes. I definitely will do that.
Hey, Darium's here. Hello. Glad to catch you live. Hey there, chat. Hello. I'm so glad you're here hanging out. We got a ton of people tonight.
I love that.
Okay.
Yoyo mom down 50 pounds. Yeah, great labs. I always love to hear that oneyear GLP-1 anniversary started with SEMA now on TERS with breast cancer diagnosis and me masectomy in the middle now back on track no further treatment that is phenomenal not the breast cancer part I'm sorry about that part but but the rest of it is great um I I love that you've already lost 50 pounds That's fantastic. And obviously you're a tough cookie, right?
That's so good. Oh, if you were here, I would just give you big hugs. I would just squish you. Just squish you.
I'm so glad you're here. Thanks for coming to hang out with me.
Hey Ally, my cat isn't better. He actually has Oh my gosh. surgery on the 22nd and a whopper surgery at that.
What? And what he has is lifelong. So he has to get checkups, x-rays every six months. Oh my gosh. Oh no. What happened? What happened to What happened to the kitty?
That's not good.
I'm so sorry.
Okay, I'm going to try to catch up with the comments here. So, hang on just one second.
It's not till next week. I'm already a nervous wreck. I'm sure. I'm sure that your kitty will be in good hands.
Look, Angela's here and late.
Well, I'm so glad that you're here.
Laminated eyebrows. I know. Listen, don't even get me started.
Look, somebody wants to know if I'm single, my lady. Listen, I love that you're calling me my lady.
It's very Game of Thrones. Um, but no, I'm I'm not single, unfortunately. I am I am happily married for a very long time.
So, but I love the Malay part. That was awesome. It makes me want to watch Game of Thrones. We've got we've got the the next season coming up of House of the Dragon. I cannot wait. I'm so excited.
or the excessive baby hair designs. Oh no, what? I missed I missed what was happening in the comments.
I'm an older lady. Two grandchildren turn 22 today. They are twins. That's fantastic.
Everybody's sharing their good news. I love it. Diane, aloha Diane, mahalo for coming to hang out.
Okay, what's happening? Everybody saying hi to each other.
Oh, question. Okay, here we go. I noticed that the hunger suppression is not as strong. Instead of going up to 7.5, can I just stop for a month and take it again? Would this cause my receptors to not be oversaturated?
So, here's the thing about receptors and oversaturation.
We don't have any studies on this, right? You'll hear this talked about a lot in the um you know research grade and gray market peptide spaces. Um but we don't we don't have any data on it.
All I can tell you is if you come off of a GLP1, your water weight and inflammation is going to come back, right? So, you got to be ready for that depending on how long you're off of it. And also, it may not work as well the second time around.
It is a coin toss 50/50 on which camp you fall into. And we don't have any data, right, to to sway either way. I I don't have anything to tell you. Like some people can go all the way up to the highest dose, come off of it for a couple of months, start over at the lowest dose, and lose weight and do great. Other people, they will go right back up all the way to the highest dose, not lose a pound the entire time. Or they'll lose that initial kind of water weight inflammation, and then not lose any more weight. Um, I don't think that this is something that they will study other than to say that they have looked into people who come off of a GLP-1 and gain their weight back. Um, so yeah, but I I don't think that there's enough data to support the whole receptors being oversaturated thing. If that was the case, it wouldn't be a 50/50 toss up, right?
It would be something that we could pinpoint or something we could look at or statistically something we could say, okay, here's a group of people. Why didn't this 50% of people have results the second time around or they had very minimal results the second time around?
So, yeah. So, I'm I am always leerary of saying anything about receptors being oversaturated, overstimulated, right? You'll hear a lot of people talk about that. I'm not sure where that originated from, but that's kind of my thoughts on it.
Okay, catching up with the comments.
My latest snack obsession is I've been or has been sliced Kobe pepper jack cheese. I have no idea why.
Sounds good to me. protein.
Oh, I love the idea of iceberg dipping in ginger salad dressing, you guys. It's so good.
It's so good. And I It has to be iceberg because it's really just got that crunch factor. If you like chips and dips, I am a chippy and dippy kind of girl.
I'm really just a dippy kind of girl.
Like I will dip everything. Saw they in high school they called me sauce boss because I would get every single kind of sauce.
I would cut up my chicken nuggets so that I could dip it in every single sauce.
I love it. It's just me. So yeah, it's it's so much fun. It's got that fun factor. It's got the the kind of, you know, mouth feel that you want with something crunchy.
You could literally pig out on it.
Iceberg lettuce has what, like 2.5 calories, right? Like it's mostly fiber, water, maybe some some nutrients scattered in there, right? I don't know.
I haven't looked at lettuce lately, but Right. So, I mean, you could really talk about low calorie volume eating, right?
As long as you don't cra go crazy with the dressing. That's why I'm trying to work on the dressing recipe.
So, okay. Straga's warning everybody. Beware sugar-free hard candy. Too many Jolly Ranchers equals dia.
By the way, if you were wondering what the emoji combination for that stands for dasheria, this is it. Poop poop.
Laugh. Shocked. Laughing.
Okay, that equals Dasharia Straga. I love that. Um, I wish I was one of those people that that happened to. Uh, it doesn't happen to me.
I can eat all the sugar-free things, all the candy. I've, you know, you guys have seen me review all those fiber candies and stuff. It's like, it doesn't. People are like, "Watch out, it's a constipation cure." I'm like, "Yes, let me try this." Doesn't do squat, but for other people it does. So, it's one of those one of those hit or miss. We should have turned this episode into a drinking game. Everybody take a drink every time Ally says Dia.
Okay. Hello.
I'm a bit late, but I'm here. That's okay. Everybody's showing up late today.
It's totally okay. You're all fired.
Jillian says, "Speaking of blubs, which is short for blueberries, um, my treat is having a bowl of frozen blubs with an asai bowl from Sam's Club. So good." Oh, that does sound good.
I like it. Hey, Carla's got a question.
I've decided to go up from 2.5 after 2 months, up a pound, down a pound for a couple of weeks. That's usually a pretty good indicator, but now evening cravings are acting a fool. have to exert extreme self-control to keep from snacking thoughts. This is very common. Um hopefully going up in dose will will help you with this. One thing that I want you to look at, Carla, and this was something that really helped me with, you know, the late night stuff is look at what is your biggest meal of the day. Is it breakfast?
Are you blowing it out at lunch? Do you have a snack? Some people don't. That's okay. What are you doing for dinner?
Really take a look at when your biggest meal is and see if if it is earlier in the day. Like a lot of people like to blow it out at breakfast, right? They're hitting the protein hard. They're doing the everything, right? Which is great. But some people do better if they have that bigger meal a little bit later in the day.
Right. The other thing you can do is look at doing a a high fiber snack that you can just really just enjoy something really good that you like. But really look for that fiber um that might be able to help you and make sure you have it a little bit later in the day.
Sometimes when we have cravings later at night, it's because we're hungry and we're hungry because we really kind of max out our calories earlier in the day. So Carla, take a look at that. Let me know if that helps you.
But also hopefully going up in dose will help you with that as well. I know I struggled with that um at the lower doses as well. So hopefully it'll it'll get better.
I posted on the Facebook group, I want to try chili lime flavor on plain popcorn. Oh, that sounds good.
That sounds delicious. Don't forget to click that like button. That's right.
Thank you, mineral lady. Okay.
Jen's laughing at me about the huge grapes. Eating some of those huge grapes right now. I also freeze them with a little protein powder in a fruity flavor. Yes, that makes for a good snack. Hey, hold on. Who is somebody needing a snack? Go back. Go back.
Carla, maybe try this grapes or fruit of choice, blueberries, whatever. Roll it in a fruity protein powder. or go check out my um my fruity protein bowl recipe.
Super easy, takes 5 seconds, delicious, right? Make yourself a little a little fruit protein snack. Anytime that you can combine fiber and protein, it's going to leave you fuller longer.
So, yeah, give that a try. Jen, great idea. Love that.
I did opt for grapes at the gas station over candy. It was a win. Absolutely.
It's a win. I love those gas stations that have like all the healthy options now. And they keep it kind of like all together. So, I can just go straight there. Going past the hot dogs, going past the chips. I can just go straight there. If I'm hungry enough to get something, I'm like, cheese snack, boiled egg, if you like that sort of thing. They got those there. They got everything. Protein bars, right? You can find all sorts of stuff. Okay.
Judy says, "Are you making fun of us 70 plus seniors?" Oh, no. Hey, what did I say? Hey, I'm just realizing I was here during the 50s. Blows my mind. What did I say? Oh, cuz I did the glasses thing and pulled them down. Yeah, something that the 40s, my 40s did to me. So, but no, no, I'm not I'm not making fun.
Are you kidding me? I love my peeps. I love all my peeps.
Mind your business. Exactly.
Okay. I bribed Sabrina. Hey, I bribed my mom to come out in the family room with me by putting on your live. We love watching you and the advice you give.
Well, thank you so much, Sabrina and Sabrina's mom.
Sabrina, I I hope your mom is not upset with me talking about Dia Sharia.
I hope there's other people in your house.
Even the dog is like, "What's that lady talking about?"
Anyway, Sabrina and Sabrina's mom, thank you so much for hanging out with me tonight. I love it. You guys are the best.
Okay.
the green tulips sweatpants. I'm a I'm under an electric blanket feeling wonderful. Yes. Listen, I just recently got one of those ones that goes um over the shoulders and then it comes all the way down the back because I I carry a lot of my stress like in my shoulders and in my back.
It is phenomenal.
phenomenal. I'm not having to use it as much because it is warming up a little bit. But yeah, that's that that's a GOP one life, man. We are always just cold, so there's not much we can do about it.
Okay.
My boyfriend still hasn't wrapped his head around the fact that I'm getting this cold. Yeah.
Yeah. Same with my wife.
It's like, how are you the cold one?
Listen, at 285 lbs. Okay. I was the one who was going out in the winters of Virginia.
Virginia for lovers. That one up north.
Winters of Virginia. Snow on the ground.
I'm wearing shorts and Birkenstocks.
Perfectly comfortable. Now my house is below 74 and I'm like I got my little my little hand warmers and my my heated socks, right? You guys have watched my videos where I review all the heated stuff. If you haven't seen it, go check it out cuz I I love all that stuff. But yeah, that's how I live my life now. Just frozen. Freeze them gigantic grapes. Gigantic. I can't read. gigantic grapes or they could be gigantic. I don't know. I could have just made up a word just now and you were all here to witness it. Um, and blueberries. Nice snack. Absolutely.
Okay.
Is it normal that I can't even think about eating fruit while on Trespide?
You know, I went through phases. I went through phases. There were some things that I couldn't eat. You know, it's all about timing. Just don't force it, right? If you especially if you can do more vegetables, right, to do fiber, then go for that. Or if there's a specific fruit that makes you happy, right? Go with that. But whatever you're feeling, don't force it. The only time I say force it is if you're not eating enough, right? Then you really need to look at, you know, what you're doing.
But if you're having a food aversion, right, just like, all right, let's find a substitution, right? Let's work around it.
Okay.
Okay. Bitsy says, "Currently on tepatide compound, might switch to semiglutide to save money." Okay. So depending on how long you've been on tricepide and how you feel and where you are in your journey, um I mean it could either be a good thing and save you money or it it could mess you up. So if you are in a weight loss phase, right, if you are not in maintenance or you haven't reached your goal weight, if you can stick with trappetide, I would highly recommend that. Um there are a lot of people that switch to semiglutide to save money and they are really disappointed.
There are a lot of people in the foundo which is the the pill group um that are switching from trappepide to foundo and they're right trying to lose weight and they're really not happy. So if you're on trappepide, if you can make it work and it's working well for you and you feel good, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. You can always switch to some glutide and give that a try once you reach your goal weight. So I like to put that out there for people because I feel like there are not enough creators out there that either want to take a stand or, you know, either way. I'm like, "Hey, don't be one of those people, right, that has to jump back and forth and deal with all that." Like, no. I I completely understand wanting to save money. I totally get that sometimes.
If you can if you can make it work, I recommend that you make it work. If you're still trying to lose weight, if you're in maintenance, you you're good.
Go ahead and play around. switch to pills, switch to whatever and and give it a try and see if it works for you. If it doesn't, then go back. But if you're actively trying to lose weight, switching back and forth between stuff um is just too much stress in my book. I I don't recommend it to people if you can help it. If you can't help it, you got to do what you got to do, right? Of course. Okay. When is the best time to end the last meal of the day? Some say 6 or 7 p.m. So the body has time to digest food before sleep. So this is a great question um because this is something that has changed over my GLP1 journey. So for those of you who are new all my new peeps tonight, um I am a type two diabetic. I got the diabetes.
So for me, I used to eat much earlier and have kind of that bigger window at night so that I wouldn't, you know, wake up at 2:00 in the morning feeling like crap. And, you know, like this video if you know what I'm talking about. I think we've all been there at least once in our GLP1 journey. So, eating earlier, good stuff. But depending on what other challenges you have, right, like me with type 2 diabetes, you may need to incorporate a later dinner or even a snack later on, right? If you have blood sugar challenges to kind of get you through. Now, if you don't have that, not a problem. You can do, right, an earlier dinner. And for the most part, I find that people are much happier with how they feel and how they sleep when they do an earlier dinner.
So, um, as far as timing goes, it's going to depend on you and your schedule. So, you want to look at when do you lay down, not just like get ready for bed. When do you physically lay down? Because some people like me, like I'm in the bed 900 p.m., but I'm not laying down, right? I'm like I'm sitting up. We've got the TV on. I'm reading a book. Kevin's cutting off the circulation to my leg, right? He's laying on me. So, I'm I'm not laying down, but take a look at when you're actually laying down, right? Because that's when digestion can become problematic. and then kind of backtrack some hours from there and see see what works well for you and play around with it, right? Do a really early dinner and then see how you feel.
Do you wake up ravenously hungry? Are you okay? Are you sleeping well, right? It's going to depend.
Diane is laughing at me. just one dump away from reaching your goal weight. I want you to know that all of you get to sit here and look at me and see my facial expressions, right? And you you're talking to me. You're hanging out, right? We're buddies. I want you to imagine for a moment that you're in a Facebook group and somebody's posting about, I'm 5 pounds away from goal weight. How do I get there? And then I chime in. They have no idea who I am.
I'm just a Joemo on Facebook. And I'm like, "Hey, great news. You are one really fantastic dump away from reaching your goal weight.
Mahalo."
Right? And then I just duck out. I want you to imagine seeing that on Facebook because if I had a dollar for every time I did that, I could retire.
So yeah. So, just just to share it with you, if you ever see me posting in a Facebook group, I say the same things that I say here cuz people need to know. They need to put it in perspective. They're so close.
Okay, everybody's talking to each other. Let me scroll down.
Yukon, Jack, Sherry is my sis.
Yeah, Sherry's trying to figure out you. Hey, she's doing great. But I love that. See, sisters, looking out for sisters. I love it. I love it. I don't have any sisters, so I love you guys.
Bringing on the heating pad. Okay.
Oh, Genesis is gonna switch things up.
Okay, great.
Report back next week. Let me know how it's going. Okay, listen, Genesis.
I'm going to switch things up with you.
Okay, anybody else who wants to jump on the bandwagon, we're going to switch things up. If you're just joining and you missed what we were talking about earlier, it's okay. You can watch it on the replay. If you're watching the replay, put replay in the comments because I love my replay crew. So, Genesis, I'm gonna switch it up this week. You switch it up this week. Let's reconvene next week and let's see how it goes. How about that? That'll be that'll be me supporting you from far away. But I got you. I got your back. Okay. Anybody else who wants to join in can absolutely join in.
Okay.
To break a stall, Lorraine says, "Have a cheeseburger." Yes. Yeah, absolutely.
That does work. That does work for people. Have a higher calorie day or a couple of days. Absolutely. It can break a stall. Okay. Hi.
Is it true that if I use Trepati for a long time, I should take a one- month break? No, absolutely not.
So, this goes back to something that I was talking about earlier about um receptors becoming oversaturated, right? There's kind of this cycling mentality that you'll see people talking about because there are peptides that should be cycled, right? For example, I've talked a lot about um simoralin, which is something that I took to help me with sleep. You cannot take that all the time. You take it, you take it for a set amount of time, you cycle off of it, and then if you want to go back to taking it again, you can. That is not the case with GLP meds. Okay? And all of the studies that we have show if you come off the meds, you lose the inflammatory benefits, right? You gain back your water weight, and then depending on how long you're off of it, you can start to gain weight back.
depending on if you have a metabolic challenge, right? Some people take GLP-1s and they don't have metabolic challenges. They don't have the disease of obesity. They don't have um PMOS, right? PCOS. They don't have uh Hashimoto's and diabetes and you know, all the things, hormonal imbalance, like all the stuff, right? List goes on and on and on. So, um, I don't recommend, and I'm not a doctor, I don't recommend people taking a break.
When you come back to it, you have a 50/50 chance on whether or not you are going to have similar results to what you had previously, no results to what you had previously.
It's it it's a crapshoot. Don't do it.
All of that sounds incredibly stressful to me. I don't know about you, but you know, I gained five pounds and I'm like, uh, I gota I got to get on this, right?
Why would you do that to yourself?
Now, only you can answer that question for yourself, but I tell it to you like it is. I don't recommend that to people.
And people will recommend it all day long. And I think they're doing people a disservice because they can't predict where you're going to end up. Is it going to work for you? Is it not going to work for you?
They don't know. And you know what? I don't know either.
But that's why I recommend that you don't do it. So, great question though. Geckos, can you tell us which peptides you personally don't like and why? I am super the curious. It doesn't say the curious. I'm just saying that. Um, okay.
Go, I'll tell you. Um, so I am not a fan of AOD, dubbed the anti-obesity drug. That's what AOD stands for. um the research on it, it it does not have high enough effects for enough percentage of people.
It's again less than 50% of people will have results, but people will add it with trespathide or semiglutide or reatide and and then they're like, "Oh, you know, my dog is coughing. I'm so sorry." So, and then they'll be like, "Oh, yeah. Oh, the AODD works great. It works great." I keep seeing these doctors pushing it, not really doctor, quackractors pushing it online and they're like, "You should add AODD to your stack." And I'm like, "How do you know if the AOD is working or if it's just the trapide?"
Spoiler, you don't.
And the fact of the matter is with GOP1 meds, not every week is the same. That's one of the whole reasons why you have to stay on a dose for four weeks because it can take time, right, to kind of build up in your system for you to see results. Imagine adding in something else on top of that and then saying, "Oh, yeah. Oh, this works great. This works great." And people would be like, "Oh yeah, I added AOD and it broke my stall.
But they don't tell you everything else that they were doing. So I think that one that one is a no-go for me. Now some people love it, some people swear by it.
I am one of those people where if it does not benefit enough people, I'm not interested. Right? That's one of the reasons why I love NAD because we make NAD in our body. But as we get older, right, we're making a lot less.
But everybody at some point could benefit from it.
It's just a matter of finding the right dosing. Um, and that can really be the challenging part for people. So, um, so yeah. So, AODD, get out of town.
What else? Um, the copper peptide, what is it?
something something d- cu. I can't even remember. Anyway, it's like it's blue comes in a blue vial.
No. Um I will say that as an injectable that one does nothing. But I have seen a lot of dermatologists talk about it being um incorporated into a serum and then used topically, right?
Specifically on the scalp and you use one of those derma rollers, right, with the little teeny tiny pin prick needles and then you run it on your scalp and then you put the serum on your scalp. I have seen dermatologists say good things about that. But as far as injecting it, don't waste your money.
No.
Um, those are kind of the two main ones that I can think of. Uh, Samorland is good.
I'd love to try Tessa Morlin, right?
That's the one we talked about earlier in the show. So, yeah, those are the kind of the only ones that I can think of off the top of my head. Um, side note, I am not a big fan of these blends and stacks and lemonade, Wolverine, Scooby-Doo, right? Like everybody's got a name for something. I'm not a fan of those because I like to be able to gauge what is happening. If you suddenly add, let's look at it from a supplement standpoint.
Geekos, I bet you didn't think you were gonna just like, "Oh my gosh, Allie's off on a tangent." Yes. And you only have yourself to blame. Um, think about it like from a supplement standpoint. I have the same stance on supplements. If you are taking 20 supplements and then you're like, "Oh, yeah. Well, you know, I'm I'm having this issue or or this is Yeah, and these are helping me." and you're taking five different hair supplements, how do you know which one is doing anything? How do you know it's helping anything? How do you know it's not hurting you? Right? You cannot gauge it because you've got too much going on at one time. And I understand why this happens. People get excited, right? It's one of the reasons why people are so excited about GLP1s because they actually work. But it's also important to remember that when it comes to these various other peptides, if companies are not picking them up and running with them, you've got to ask yourself why.
Look at the research.
Really dive into those numbers. And I know that it's not fun. And your average Joe is not going to do that because I can tell you right now, reading the research that's available with AOD, because there's quite a bit of it. um is super boring.
It's not good at all.
But if it's something that you're thinking about taking, right, you got to do the research. You can't just go based off of some gym bro, right? Sitting shirtless in his car telling you, "Yeah, man. Take that AOD.
Look at me. I'm ripped."
Right? So anyway, great question.
Okay, Leslie says, "I ordered three months NAD from Brelo in the 7 weeks with no difference. Trying to decide if I want to keep daily injections for another 7 weeks. Provider said keep going and don't reorder." So yeah, so you may want to talk to your doctor about the dosing and they've also got you doing daily injections.
So my guess would be, and this is purely speculation on my part, what I'm seeing a lot of teleaalth companies doing, um, side note, I'm really not a fan of it, is they will put people on a very, very small daily dose of NAD. Now, this works for some people, but it doesn't work for other people. It really just depends on how sensitive you are to it, right? Some people do better with two injections a week of a higher dose. Um, and kind of the the good thing bad thing about NAD is I mean you can the studies show you can go like way way up in dose, right?
Um, and it's something that you can take every day. So, what I would do, Leslie, is talk to your doctor about changing your dosing. If you're not feeling a difference, you may need to up your dose. You may need to, you know, maybe not dose every day, right? Talk to them about doing every, you know, maybe three times a week, but a significantly higher dose.
That may be more what your body is looking for. There's a little bit of trial and error there. So, talk to your doctor and switch it up, right? use what you've got, switch it up, and see if you can kind of fine-tune it so that you can feel a difference before you reorder.
Right. So, yeah, talk to your doctor on that one.
Yeah, I I've been seeing a lot of um advertisements for those, but I don't know.
I don't know. I'm kind of picky about fragrances and then what do I do like with the 20 gabillion fragrances that I end up with that I'm that I don't like, right? What do I do with those? I mean, there's only so much I can give away, I guess.
Yeah. Okay. Stormmy says, "I received an email from FFHR department today concerning a comment I made on a video today."
Wait, what comment did you make on a video today?
What happened?
If the fifth flavor fund HR department was sending you a message, I didn't Do I have Do I have an HR department?
I'm pretty sure it's all party time pizza party over here. I don't think we have HR. Like, if you have an internal problem on a corporate level here at Fit Flavor Fun, you're on your own. There's there's no HR. We're just winging it.
But let me know what what was your what were you commenting on? I don't remember anything crazy.
Usually you got me laughing. So, hey, Genesis just joined on the other channel. Thank you. I'm so excited.
Yeah, you can go back and take a look at some of my older videos. By the way, side note, if you'd like to see my very, very first YouTube videos if you'd like to see more of what I look like at 285 lbs, um, then go back into the old videos on that channel. Um, you'll also see lots of cute puppy videos. You can't go wrong with that. So, yeah, take a look. There's lots of fun stuff over there. And um I definitely got to get the views up because I'm trying to be able to go live and like do fun things on that channel. So watch, cut it on, watch a video. But thank you. Thank you for joining over there.
I look forward to perfume reviews. Okay.
Uncle Charlie, is that bound 7.5 to 10 milligrams a big difference? Well, it's 2.5 milligrams. Um, it all depends on how you feel. So, here's here's what I will say, Uncle Charlie. If you are someone that has challenges with side effects every time you go up in dose, then you will likely feel the difference from 7.5 to 10. Um, but the longer you are on a dose, the more those side effects kind of wayne and and go away with the exception of constipation. That's just your best friend always hanging out in the corner.
I you can't get rid of that one. So, it it really just depends on how you feel.
So, can you tell me a little bit of how you're feeling on 7.5? How do you feel when you've been going up in doses so far? So for example, when I went up in dose, um I had fatigue usually the first few days after injection um which was challenging. Uh I would also get headaches sometimes and um yeah that would pretty much happen to me every single time like without fail every time I went up in dose. Um until I got to the higher doses. Now I'm all over the place with dosing and it doesn't make any difference at all. So yeah. So, let me know how you're feeling.
Hey, you're very welcome.
Okay. Lis says, "What's with this fragrance GLP1 deal? This is my explain.
This may explain my recent room linen spray and hand soap purchases." Yes.
Yes, Lis. Um, I have a video coming out explaining the psychology behind this coming soon. So, great question. I'm going to hold on to it for later because I've got a whole video that's going to be explaining it. Just know that you are not alone. Yes, this is common, right?
And also join me for perfumey reviews, right?
Because what all of us on GLP1's, we're all looking for that dopamine hit from stuff that smells good. And you know what?
That's okay. Nothing wrong with that.
Okay. Double major in cyber security and IT management. Oh wow, that's cool. Got three honors for perfect GPA. Holy cow, smart cookie. Never had a B in his life and got voted top student in cyber program by all his professionals. Nice.
That's fantastic. Well, kudos to him.
Plenty of plenty of work in that field.
So, smart cookie and desirable cookie.
Aren't all cookies desirable cookies?
You know what I'm saying, Mary? You know what I mean?
Hey there, Jazzy. Good evening. I'm currently on Mjaro 12.5 and I'm experiencing body aches and joint pain.
Is there anything I can do about it?
Yeah, so this is something that I experienced as well.
um it usually goes away the longer you're on a GLP1.
The one thing I will say is that it's usually caused by inflammation, right?
And your GLP-1 is actively working against that. So, you may want to take a look at what you're eating. There are a whole bunch of anti-inflammation diets.
You don't have to do that, but we tend to eat in phases, right? So, you may find that you're you're consuming more of something, right, that may be producing an inflammatory response. Um, or your body may just be having an inflammatory response. That happens, too. But, yeah, but the body aches and joint pain, it it does go away. I would just recommend that um you talk to your doctor about, you know, anything that you can take to kind of mitigate the issue, right? Ibuprofen, right? All that. Keep in mind you do have delayed digestion. So just kind of keep that in the back of your mind. Um but yeah, you just got to kind of power through and see what you can do. But I I feel you. I I feel you on that cuz I had that challenge as well.
Okay.
I'm obsessed with after shower body oil I found on Amazon. It's what is it? Wen wall and smells amazing.
All right, pink screwdriver.
You just hold your horses right there.
You just hold on a minute.
Walls on. Walls on.
Body oil.
I can't find it.
Oh, I think I just found it. Walls on seaweed extract.
Okay. What? Tell me. Pink screwdriver.
Tell me what does it smell like? I mean, you said smells amazing, but what does it smell like specifically? Oh, ask and ye shall receive. Okay.
Luxurious spa-like scent. Bright blend of grapefruit, zesty lime, earthy cyprus, and sun-kissed mango mandarin.
Okay. Seaweed extract, botanical oils.
Okay.
It's a little pricey for for a small bottle, but I'm going to add it to cart.
Okay, we shall see. Pink screwdriver, thank you for sharing.
Love it. Okay, just looked at Transformers.
Raspberry sold out. They have banana cream pie. What? That sounds good, too.
Yeah. Yeah. Their pine pineapple flavors are are good, too. I don't think I've tried the banana cream pie, though. But I'm sure it's probably good. I I haven't had anything from them that wasn't good.
So, yeah.
Okay.
Real talk with the lane. Elaine. Okay. Dang. My comment was removed. I just wanted Ally to give Ally perfect clapback for Pope who blamed the shot on my most recent hospitalization. They were okay when I was 300 lb. Now I'm over 100 pounds down. That's fantastic.
Okay, we're going to have to do like a Zoom call so that people can can chime in. I know sometimes, you know, depending on what you say, it'll it'll edit in the comments. So, but thank you for the clapback. Always looking for a good clapback to share with people.
Okay, Linda, listen. Linda, had labs done this week. LDL went down from 83.
Great in November 25 to 135. I started tea in October 25, lost 51 pounds and I've really been faithful to healthy eating.
Good.
What do you think? What do you think is gaining? Or I'll I'll be asking doctor next week. What do you think is gaining?
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
What do you mean, Linda? Ultra sugar-free grape drink packets. Oh, yeah. That's good stuff. That's good stuff.
Lis, you crack me up. literally just bought two dark chocolate raspberry due to peer pressure, guys. It's not peer pressure. I promise.
I promise. I love you. I love you. It's so good. It really is. I'm not sponsored. It's It's just good. But you have to let me know if you like it. So, that's too funny. They do have other good flavors, too. Lemon mering pie.
Okay.
I think you're right. I moved from Ozmpic to Mangjaro because Ompic sucked rocks. Now I'm down 40 pounds after seven and a half months. Yes. And this is a very common story that I see.
People move from uh semiglutide because it sucks rocks. Love that.
Okay. Doctors on YouTube say your receptors don't get saturated on GLP1s.
I don't know any doctors that are experts on it to ask. Yeah, I I think that there's, you know, there's not a whole lot of data on it.
It's just one of those things.
Ooh, iceberg lettuce. Thank you, Miji.
4 g of protein. That's like non-existent. Oh, I should try to find a protein powder that I could mix into the salad dressing. Miji just gave me an idea. Carb 1.9 g, 3% fiber per one cup.
Love that. Thank you for looking that up.
Protein pudding for the win. I agree.
Okay, I am 20 minutes past the pumpkin time, but we've got a couple more questions. So, I'm going to speed round these questions because I don't want to leave you guys hanging. So, are you ready? Let's go.
What's your opinion on Fendo for maintenance? Worthwhile or a lost cause?
I think it's a good option for maintenance. Um, the studies are leaning towards people who were on higher doses of trapp likely still need to stay on higher doses of trespathide rather than switching to something else to maintain.
But for those who are on semaglutide right foundo or even the waggoi pill are a good option or people who are at mid to lower doses of trespide foundo may be a good option for maintenance. Moving on to the next. Why is it from shot day to day three I have a runny nose. Is there a immune component to MJ? So with trazepatide my understanding is that it also stimulates the vagus nerve right which which kind of runs through your body. This happens to me as well. It's very common.
Um it's also one of the reasons why people who become nauseous sometimes they it triggers them to throw up. Um it's not like you're having a reaction to the medication or something like that. It's often because that vagus nerve is stimulated. So, okay, look, my nose is running right now. All right, just want to say hi. I've been watching your YouTubes the past months or so.
I've come back to watch. Yay. Thank you.
I'm so sorry. I'm trying to wrap up.
I don't normally catch your lives, but I watch them. I thank you. Anyway, I'm just first time watcher for once. Hi, Jan. Oh, from Canadia. I love my Canadian people. Well, great. Well, thank you for coming to hang out.
Okay, Soulfire, I'm in on the work workout switch up.
Okay, we're going to do it. We're doing it this week. We got three people in.
Okay, Angela's in. Ready to switch things up. Okay.
Okay. Sherry says, "Ally, what are the hormone benefits from taking traceide?"
So, it depends on kind of where you are with your hormones. So, for example, um some people find that it it helps to balance their hormones. For example, um women with PCOS or which is now named PMOS, um they find that it helps to kind of stabilize their hormones so that their cycles become regular. Um for those who have um are permenopause or menopausal, right, it can help with challenges relating to that. Um again, for men with low tea, it it can help with that. It's not going to fix anything hormonal, right, other than the GLP1 itself, but it can be helpful and especially when it comes to side effects of those things.
So, yeah, we'll have to get get into that in another video. Okay. M. Calli said, "I had to take Murphy out." What are we switching up? I want in. So, we are switching up our routine. Whatever it is that you have normally been eating, um, switching up your calorie deficit, switching up your exercise.
Basically, we're going to for the next week, we're going to try to switch things up from what we've been doing normally, right? So, if normally for your exercise um or your cardio you do walking, you're going to do something totally different. That way, it's kind of switching, right? Because your body becomes acclimated to what you do all the time. So, for the next week, in support of our new member, we're going to be switching it up and doing something different. So, I'm going to switch up my exercise. I'm going to switch up my nutrition. You can switch up whatever you'd like, right? However you'd like. But then we're all reporting back next week and we're going to see how we did. See if it it helped us, right? Break a stall or meet a protein goal or feel better or, you know, reduce some inflammation, right? There's a lot of different things. It doesn't necessarily have to be scale related.
Um, so yeah, that's that's what we're switching up.
Okay.
Switching up your injection site.
Absolutely. You can do that, too. Okay.
Some people stop the meds for metabolism reset to go down to a lower dose of the medication. Absolutely. There are people who do that. Um you know uh many of us follow Dave at on the pen right and he is currently in the process of doing that right came off the meds coming back on to try to find you know a better lower dose right to get the results that he's looking for. Um, I I just think that it's important that people go into it with their eyes open.
So, but yes, there are people who do this, but it's not it's not a reset like a one-sizefits-all.
And that's the point that I I want to make sure that people are aware of.
Okay.
Yes, that's what we're doing. Okay.
Okay.
GLP1s helped my menopause symptoms. Got me over the finish line. Great.
Okay. Excellent.
I'm just catching up with the comments.
Oh, okay. Why am I not seeing the transform HQ link? Um, I don't have a link. Um, I don't have a coupon code. I don't have anything. I'm not sponsored.
I pay for it. like out of pocket. So, it's Transform HQ. You can find them on Facebook. You can find them, right? You can just Google it. Um, but I I don't know if they're I don't know if they're still running a sale or not. They were running a sale last week.
By the way, um I did make a video to let everybody know when they were having their um their sale and they got this the this flavor back in stock. I'm trying to look it up right now.
Transform H transform.com.
Now, they are always doing the seven shake packs. Get seven free. Okay, you'll see it right when you go to their website. Of course, it switched to a different ad right as I put it up there.
Anyway, um so if you want to try some flavors, you guys know me, I'm a sucker for a sample pack. That is a really great way to do it and it's really affordable.
So, um so yeah, but they have a whole bunch of stuff.
Check it out. But yeah, I don't get anything for it if you guys purchase it.
Um, I just tell you because I I like sharing stuff with you guys. That's good. Okay.
Bitsy says, "I saw an episode about obesity. Doctor basically said AOD works well for rats. There's something missing in humans apparently." Oh, interesting.
That's very interesting because there are people that swear by AODD and I always think they're trying to sell people something. So, this is very interesting. I would love to see whatever that was um that episode that you that you saw. Thank you for sharing.
That's very interesting. That's the other thing you got to look at, right?
And people will tell you all the time about oh the research the re research studies. If something doesn't go into human testing, right, then you have to look at stuff like this. So, very interesting. Love that. Thank you, Bitsy. That was awesome.
Okay.
Okay. So, there's a copper peptide foam from Eden for hairless. If you are going to go that route, um, and you're going to do the copper peptide foam or a serum or something topical, specifically when it comes to, um, hair loss, you've got to get that derma roller. Okay? So, it looks like one of those face rollers, but has little teeny tiny little um, you know, like uh, stainless steel titanium little needles. not needles, but like pin pricks, right? And you roll it over your scalp. It doesn't hurt. It doesn't cause you to bleed. It's not that serious, but essentially, it just disturbs your scalp layer so that the serum or the foam or the cream or whatever it is that you're using um gets down right into those follicles and into the skin cuz that's where it needs to be. So, if you're going to go this route, according to the dermatologist, right, I'm not a doctor, but according to the dermatologist, you got to do that dermar roller thing. And I have one. Um, it actually feels pretty good. So, good times. Okay.
Why don't you like copper? uh because it didn't do anything and it just caused sight reactions every single time.
Didn't matter how much it was diluted.
Didn't matter which compound pharmacy it came from. Like it was just, you know, nobody wants to have sight reactions all the time. And the thing with the copper peptides that that is just a challenge that you have like it's just you really can't avoid it. If your body is going to react to it, your body's going to react to it.
Okay. Donna says, "I've been taking Marjaro since February 2024. I'm down 79. Nice. But I haven't lost anything in about 6 months, maybe longer. I understand that feeling." So 6 weeks ago, I decided to go up to 15 to be continued next post. You're so funny.
Um, since moving to 15, my sugar is creeping up and my weight maybe weight is also creeping up. Not a huge amount, but enough to frustrate me working with a dietitian. Nothing's changed. Any words of wisdom? Try going back down to to 12.5.
I know it sounds counterintuitive, but for some people, their bodies just like a specific dose.
And the example that I use is my body loves 12.5. My constipation goes away randomly. I'm not changing anything.
doing the same thing I've been doing this entire time. Constipation gone.
I feel great. I have tons of energy.
Like, my body just really likes 12.5.
And I don't have anything researchbased to to explain it. I've been up to 15.
I've tried 17.
Didn't lose any additional weight. So, if your goal is to go up to 15 to potentially start weight loss, if you're not losing weight, just go back down and see how you feel because it might be that your body just likes 12.5.
Okay. Let me know how that goes for you.
Okay. Okay. Okay.
You're very welcome. All right.
Uh, all right. I'm just trying to catch up with the comments here. I don't want to leave anybody hanging cuz I got to go. I am 33 minutes past my pumpkin time. I am officially a pumpkin.
Go team. Switch it out. Yes, I want that on a shirt. Check your hormones. We can put that on a shirt, too.
You're very welcome. You're very welcome. Okay, I think I caught up with everybody. If I missed your comments, then I send you hugs. I am so sorry. Um, thank you so much for coming to hang out with me tonight. You guys have been phenomenal. I swear I watch other people's lives. It's like all the smart people come to my lives and ask the best questions. I just love you guys. I am sending you all the biggest hug. I hope you have a wonderful evening and or morning depending on where you are in the world. And if you haven't already, make sure you hit that notification bell so that you get reminded about my videos. Remember, um YouTube is kind of throttling my videos right now. It's okay. It's okay. We're getting there.
But I post every morning and then in the afternoon I try to post a short or something fun for you. Um, if you're looking for links to everything, it's down in the description box below. I've got an Amazon storefront, so if you want to check those out, if you see something interesting, I've likely reviewed it, so check out the reviews playlist.
And as always, be kind. Rewind.
Everybody's saying have a good night.
Thanks for keeping us entertained and informed. You're welcome.
I love you.
Okay, we'll see you in the next one.
