The marketing is 100% great. He is doing his thing.

[00:01:20]And this is a shoe that I honestly think he made it more so than ever before available to the masses. Like he wanted the general public to really have a good chance at these. And I got to admit, it's been great. It's been a lot of fun.

[00:01:35]This shoe has tanked in resale value.

[00:01:39]Literally, it happened overnight, but every day since all the sales and everything started, every single day, it has continued to go down. I'm going to be honest. I want to know your opinion in the comment section down below. Do you guys think that this shoe will hit anywhere near retail or do you guys think that it's going to stay in that like 3 to 350 range? And that's personally my opinion. I think it'll be anywhere from like 350 to 4 once everything's said and done, once all the pairs are sold, once people get them in, stuff like that. I personally think it probably end up settling around that 350 to 4 range. And again, that's really really good compared to the last one we got. Uh cuz that one again, basically, you can't get that for cheaper than seven. Uh so yeah, I'll take this one for sure. And this one to me is a lot more of a wearable shoe. Even though I do think the brick by bricks are better than of course the brick after brick.

[00:02:36]Let's not get this confused. This is a great shoe. I love this shoe a lot. I'm going to wear it a lot. Uh and again, you know, we'll make another video about why I'm going to be wearing it a lot.

[00:02:48]But definitely uh something that again I think he killed. I think he put his own kind of stamp on a OG colorway and just kind of added a couple things to it.

[00:03:00]Kind of elevated a little bit. But yes, the resale has tanked, you guys. It right now in my size 10 is sitting at $ 350. Now again, you do have all the fees and everything, so it's still a $400 shoe, but 350 for a 10, $459 for an 11 12. The 13 is still at 513. A 12 is at 493. So, the bigger sizes, just like normal, they are the ones that have the higher resale. Uh, 8 1/2 is 325 though.

[00:03:30]The lowest ask is 303. It's a size 7.

[00:03:33]And a size eight, you guys, is $37. So, whenever you look at this, in my opinion, yes. I mean, we all knew the bigger sizes would have the higher resale value. We all knew that. That's just usually kind of how it goes. Uh, but I want to reiterate, I don't care what the resale value on this shoe is. I don't care. I overpay. I I have 100% overpaid uh on accident a couple times, but this is definitely a shoe. I don't care what the resale is. I think this is a great shoe. I do think it is 100% going to be in contention for sneaker of the year. He's going to have a chance to go back to back. Uh just like Drake said, back to back. But definitely, in my opinion, is going to be great. Uh I do kind of wonder how far will it go till the release date. uh on the resale market like how far could it really go down? Uh that is the one thing I'm really kind of wondering and I told you guys wait a couple days let the resale go down a little bit more then buy it cuz I honestly think it's eventually going to come back to that 350 400 range stuff like that. But I really really think right now is a great time to buy if you guys really really want this shoe or if you guys are just going to wait it out for retail then of course wait it out. But if you don't hit, I think that's probably the worst time to buy because the moment these sell out, we know what's going to happen. Resale is going to of course jump back up. That's what it always does. There always be FOMO. People are going to be buying.

[00:05:02]People are going to be raising prices.

[00:05:03]We know how that goes. It happens quite literally every single time. Like I don't remember a time uh where something was going kind of a lot lower than we expected, then it sells out, then it goes higher. I don't know how many times that's happened. Uh probably uh way too many to count and it's probably going to continue to happen. But in my opinion, right now is a great time to buy because the resale is not that high. Again, it's a great sneaker. I love it. Uh the quality is great. I love the little details that they added on to it. Again, the one thing that I really, really think would have set off brick after bricks, a lot of people have pointed out. Again, I don't think it would have really mattered too much, but you guys know how it has that texture on the brick by brick right here that kind of feels like a brick. That right there probably would have set it off. Th that might be the one issue some people may have, but in my opinion, I think this shoe is absolutely great. I think it's fire. Uh, everything about it I honestly love. It's I can't really find too much to complain about cuz again it is the similar kind of color blocking to a Fire Red 4 and you'll never hear me complain about a Fire Red 4 either. So this honestly is fire. I do think the different laces and everything was a great touch. But again I think you guys if you were to purchase now it would not be a bad time. Now, if you guys think you'll hit for retail, once again, wait it out. But don't wait too long and then have to pay more than you really should for this shoe. Cuz again, like I said, was it worth what I've paid for it? No, it's not. Was content and stuff worth it? Yes. But was the shoe itself worth in my opinion? No. In my opinion, again, I I think you know that 350 to 400 range is a great price point for these. Again, I think there's it's it's a wonderful shoe. You do have some quality control issues and stuff like that, but after that, it's really not that bad. And I'm going be honest, like I really think the resale is in a great spot right now. I think it is a great time to be a sneaker head because we are able to get pairs that we before would have seen hit 5,600.

[00:07:14]We're not seeing it hit that anymore.

[00:07:16]So, I think right now is a great time to be a sneaker head. I think it's going to be the same thing with the Travis whenever they release. way too many pairs to go around. I think that's going to be one we could see hit like three 400 and it kind of stay there. I really do. I think that could be one. Again, I don't think any Travis will ever be at retail. That's a Travis one low. Uh, now the Jumpman jacks and stuff, they'll they'll always probably be a little lower, but I do think the Travis one lows, I honestly feel like that's going to be one that will always have a little bit of value to it, and I think is always going to have the hype going with it as well. Uh, but in my opinion right now, I mean, I may talk about this in a later video. I don't know a better designer right now for Nike uh than Nigel. I'm going to be honest, that's just my honest opinion. I don't see this really being that much of a debate because a lot of people don't like Travis's shoes. I do. A lot of other people do like it, but I don't really know that many people themselves that don't like Nigel stuff. So, that's just my opinion. Again, you guys can have yours.
