Africans in the diaspora should avoid spending lifetime savings on luxury mansions in Africa, as these status symbols generate no income and create financial risk; instead, they should invest in income-generating assets like businesses, rental properties, and farmland that provide long-term wealth and financial freedom while still contributing to Africa's development.

African Diasporas, Don’t Build Mansions in Africa… Do This InsteadAdded:
Dear Africans, do not build mansions in Africa.
I remember back in the days, the mindset of traveling abroad and then coming back home to build huge houses is long gone.
We are in 2026.
Avoid that mindset immediately. At the end of this video, get rid of that mindset immediately. Do not spend your lifetime savings [music] to build huge houses to build mansions back home. No, it's a typical no. No, it doesn't work anymore.
Back in the days, our fathers, our our family members used to show off to the community. It doesn't exist anymore. It was a big financial mistake. In 2026, [music] do not build mansions back home. It doesn't make sense.
Build simple houses. The peace of mind that you will get in mansions. You're going to get the same peace of mind in small houses. In simple houses.
Build two bedrooms, three bedrooms, and you will thank me later. The kids you are thinking of will move out when they grow up. You don't need 12 bedrooms to survive. No. Do not build mansions. It's a big financial mistake.
Some people have spent [music] their lifetime savings in building mansions in Africa. All in the name of showing off and then they will move back to the diaspora to save for another 20 years to look for capital. Really? No. Avoid these things.
It comes with a huge cost. I had someone coming on my Tik Tok life who spent his lifetime savings in the UK to build 12 bedrooms in Africa.
And this man moved back to UK to look for capital. [music] On his way to look for capital, he had a cardiac event and he was advised by [music] his doctors not to work much anymore. And guess what? He was like, "Prince, I'm currently stuck.
I don't know how to return back to Africa. I don't have any money. Now [music] I have a cardiac event. I have a cardiac disease and I won't be able to work as much as I used to before. So now I'm stuck in the UK." What was the point? Build simple houses so that you have enough leftover as capital. Don't spend all your lifetime savings building huge houses in Africa. It doesn't make sense. It's a big financial mistake.
Don't do that. The peace of mind you have in mansions, you can have the same peace of mind in those small houses. Aim for building small houses so that you can have enough leftover.
Most of us in the past will build 12 bedrooms which you necessarily doesn't need. [music] You don't need a big house for anything.
You need just a two-bedroom house. You need just three-bedroom house. That's all. Most of us spend long years abroad in the aim of building huge houses. It doesn't make sense. Please build simple houses and you will thank me later.
Build small houses.
If the house you are building is not going to give you anything in return, I know house is necessity. I know house will give you peace of mind. I totally understand. But if the house you are building is not going to give you any money in return, avoid spending your lifetime savings in building these houses. If you are building something that's going to generate you income on daily basis, that's absolutely fine. You can go ahead and do it. But guess what? If it's not giving you anything in return, if it's not giving you money on daily basis, no, don't spend all your money or don't spend all your lifetime savings in building mansions in the name of showing off to local [music] people that you've made it. No, it doesn't make sense. Build simple houses.
Build small houses and have enough leftover so that you don't spend years and years in America grinding so that you don't spend heaps of years in UK working so hard putting enormous pressure on yourself in the aim of showing off to the local community.
Think about this. Reflect on this and you [music] will thank me later.
Avoid this at all cost. Many [music] people that did this have regretted in the long run. Many people that spent most years building to show off, they only sleep in one bedroom.
Go to their houses, they only sleep in one bedroom. And the rest of the rooms will be sitting there empty.
And you cannot rent these houses because where you live, you wouldn't want to share it with people.
You wouldn't want to share your peace with people who rent your house. You would never want to do that. And as a result, these rooms will be sitting there empty for no reason. Unless you convert it to a business or something, else you're going to regret it in the long run.
Don't waste your time building mansions back home. In 2026, build simple houses only in 2026.
Build a two-bedroom house. That's it.
You can wall and get it. That's absolutely fine. Or you can build a two bedrooms with kitchen, toilet, and bath.
That's it.
Don't waste your lifetime savings in building a house that will never generate you anything in return except peace.
Don't do it. Acquire financial wisdom.
Acquire financial knowledge and you will be the most happiest person in Africa.
Africa is the only place when you build a house you can claim this house belongs to me forever.
Africa is the only place when you have a house you don't have to pay mortgage.
Africa is the only place when you have a house you don't have to pay any unnecessary council fees. Africa is the only place when you have a house you can go off grid if you want. Africa is the only place you can go off-grid without the [music] government bothering you.
Africa is the only place you can have your own water. You can generate your own electricity. You can have your own farm inside your house where government won't bother you. Peace and freedom in Africa. Guys, if you have watched the video up to now, please hit on the subscribe button so that you join the Panaffrican family, so that you join the Panaffrican movement.
