So, today we're actually looking at some of the funniest, strangest, and most surprising Nigerian habits that keep confusing foreigners, and trust me, you will want to stay till the end. [00:06:21]How do you reassure someone who is apologizing for something they did not do? Oh, no, no, it's not your fault, it's not your fault. Don't worry. Yeah, how dare you make me cough? Now, honestly, I find myself doing the same thing. I think it's really lovely. It's infectious. Back in Australia, I think people would just say bless you, maybe.

[00:07:25]Ease myself, use the toilet.

[00:07:28]Pack your hair, tie your hair. Next tomorrow, the day after tomorrow. One more, one more, one more.

[00:07:37]Insta-mentally, installments or gradually. But, that word generally does not exist. It was made up word.

[00:07:48]I understand, right? Like Now listen, we all have little things that we do in our country like words that we say in our country. But every country has its own uniqueness. And we also use phrases like robots means traffic lights.

I mean, instead of peeling the whole fruit first, many people bite into it, you know, peel it bit by bit, and suck out every juicy piece. I think this one is I think this is better. [00:08:27]Because I I I think Nigerian way Should I say Yeah, I think Nigerian way is better. But nevertheless, it all depends. So, I grew up with this and I love it. And foreigners often ask, what exactly is happening? Why are we doing it like this? You see? Well, for Nigerians, it's completely normal.

[00:08:45]And one thing that amazed many foreigners is how effortlessly Nigerians carry heavy loads on their heads.

[00:08:51]Bucket, basket, even last trays, stuff like that, without even, you know, without even using their hands.
