The suprahyoid muscles, located under the tongue, support tongue position during sleep; when these muscles weaken over time, the tongue is more likely to fall backward into the airway, causing sleep apnea events. Training these muscles through simple resistance exercises (placing hand under chin and resisting mouth opening for 3 sets of 15 reps) can help reduce airway collapse and improve oxygen levels during sleep.

This is the sleep apnea muscle that nobody trains, but if you do, it can start reducing your events.本站添加:
This is the sleep apnea muscle that nobody trains, but if you do, it can start reducing your events, boosting your oxygen as soon as tonight. It has to do with everybody's favorite, the suprahyoid muscles. This is great, just in time for summer. You want to show off that suprahyoid region. The reason this is important, all these muscles in here that have all sorts of fun names, they support your tongue. So, when they are weak or they atrophy because they're weak over time, your tongue will go down such that when you're down at night, it's that much more likely to go back into your throat, close it off. How you fix it? Very simple. Punch yourself in the face. Don't do that. And basically resist opening your mouth here. About 3 sets 15. If there's pain, clicking, reduce your range of motion. If that persists, don't do it. And this is one of many ways to improve your breathing at night.
