[00:00:00]All right, it is a very windy day and I am vlogging my new bucket, I guess you call it. So, I'm still getting used to it.

[00:00:12]And today's a very windy, so I hope you can hear me. Could be a cool day. Uh, I'm going to go say goodbye to Larry.

[00:00:19]He's leaving Thailand finally after a month of being here. And it's actually my last weekend here. In a few days, I'll be heading to Bangkok. A few days after that, I'll be slowly making my way back to Ukraine. I finally got to watch the footage when I edited my uh video of when I bought this thing. And I really like it. Actually, at first I kind of didn't like it if it felt like it was it was strange. I just wasn't used to it.

[00:00:51]The gimbal when it turns it was a bit awkward as well. But I just realized I can just not talk for a second. Edit that part out so it's more smooth.

[00:01:04]So yeah, this is uh the cafe I was at this morning. Many mornings to do my work. And then right next door.

[00:01:15]Oh, we have some food delivery. Look at this. Some fried rice.

[00:01:19]Uh, right next door is this Japanese restaurant where I host an English speaking club every Saturday for the Ukrainian community here.

[00:01:37]Uh, I'm 5 minutes early, so maybe they're not here yet. But basically, there's a pretty small group of Ukrainians here compared to the Russians. There are probably a thousand Russians that live in this region. Uh, but there's probably like maybe 50 or 100 Ukrainians. And just to kind of keep in touch, do what I can do. I host a free speaking club as a native English speaker, even though my English has probably gotten significantly worse the last 10 years since I've been living abroad. But anyways, they get to practice English, which is very useful for them, especially if it's abroad. And I get to practice my Ukrainian with them. So, let's see uh what time they show up.

That's pretty decent.

[00:14:00]Beef is not very good and it's expensive, so I normally avoid it. Uh but mostly they are importing uh to any of these spots that are supposed to be pretty good.

[00:35:41]But most of them like 90% of them are in China and most of them are like tiny little stores and none of them have bathrooms. So the business model is basically they sell really cheap ice cream cones and the really cheap Taiwanese style bubble tea and things like that.

So basically they just copied McDonald's ice cream but make sure the machines work and made it cheaper and then they copied the boba stuff Taiwan and they copied like just all the hot sellers the lemonade from you know whatever from like Texas style iced teas and lemonade but they made it so cheap that everyone just goes through I'm like a [ __ ] it I'll support and we also looked into how much it would cost to franchise a 7-Eleven.
