Grief is a natural and meaningful response to loss that demonstrates the depth of love we have for someone; while it can be traumatic and overwhelming, it also represents a beautiful privilege of having experienced profound love, and over time, the intense emotions of grief can transform from negative feelings like bitterness and confusion into positive ones like pride and joy.

"It can be traumatic, but it can be beautiful because you've got to experience a love so deep..."Hinzugefügt:
There's a few different things that I've learned over the years and someone said something that I thought was, you know, some might find it a little bit uh cheesy, you could say, but if you have the privilege to have grief, it means that you love someone so deeply that you feel that strongly. And I don't know if I've got that right, but it's close enough to understanding that if you feel so strong and sad and upset about losing someone, it shows that you love them that much.
And if you had the the the pleasure to be able to go through that, then I think it's a good thing. A parent dying is horrendous and I think no matter what, you don't ever forget it. It can affect you positively, negatively, no matter what, and I had to manage and understand and go through all sorts. That was 20 years ago and it still affects me today, but luckily it doesn't affect me as negatively as it used to. It used to be down, bitter, anger, resentment, confusion and now it's like, you know, more pride and joy and sharing my experiences because I had a unique experience with the alcohol involved onto the youth of today, etc., etc. >> Yeah.
>> There's also one other way as well and there's a lot of these different things that you can learn over the years of how to manage grief. And I thought one really beautiful one it is based on this stoic belief that this that someone's life is already panned out. It's already written in the stars. No no no matter what you do, it's not going to change what happens because a lot of times if you lose someone, you'll go, "What could I do to have changed that? What could I have said or done?" And sometimes there's nothing you could have done. So if you let go of that, sometimes it can help you understand that grief doesn't have to be bad, but know it I know what Zoey's going through. It can take over your brain. You can think about it all the time. You think, "What where is this person for a wedding or or to see my grandkids or to whatever it may be?" It's an overwhelming effect, you know what I mean? And that's why even recently with my mom, bless her, she's not going anywhere, but you you know, when these things come about, you think to yourself, "What is my life going to be without my parents in it?"
You know? I'm way too young for that. So it's overwhelming, it can be traumatic, but it also can be beautiful because you've got to experience a love so deep.
