This lesson teaches Arabic verb conjugation patterns and pronoun attachment rules, including how to attach pronouns to verbs (e.g., 'najadna' for 'we found'), how to form place nouns using the 'ma-' prefix (e.g., 'maktab' from 'kataba'), and how to handle grammatical cases like mansub (object) and marfu (subject) through vowel patterns. The instructor emphasizes understanding verb patterns (wasan) to expand vocabulary and comprehension, demonstrating how Arabic grammar follows systematic rules that make learning efficient.

Lesson 13 - Madinah Arabic Book 2 Course
Added:Alhamdulillah.
I ask Allah subhanana wa ta'ala to accept from all of us coming here to learn the language of the noble Quran. I ask Allah subhana wa ta'ala to make a satka for our parents and make our children satka for us. I ask Allah subhana wa ta'ala to give us ti to learn the language of the noble Quran and then teach others. I welcome you my respective sisters to today's class. I hope everybody's doing well. May Allah subhana wa tala protect you all. May Allah subhanaa tala bless you all. If you all are able to hear me clearly, please give me some feedback in the chat window and inshallah we'll start the class soon.
Alhamdulillah.
In regards to audio, sometimes audio gets a little bit fluctuated on my side or on your side. So, please be patient instead of getting panicked and thinking that line has got disconnected or you're not able to hear clearly and this is the permanent thing. Sometimes there could be internet glitch. So if you come across such thing, please be patient.
Okay, new lesson. So today's lesson as I told you these lessons are very easy.
May Allah subhana wa ta'ala have mercy on the soul of Sheikh Abdul Rahim. A we are continually doing the attachment of pronouns to the verbs. So you will see today as well, you will find the lesson inshallah very very easy.
So lesson number seven Where did you go after the lessons? Oh my son.
So the sons are saying we went to the playground. Now from which verb this malab is coming is coming from it means to play. One thing I I I'm trying to emphasize quite a lot on understanding the patterns, understanding the wasan in Arabic language. That is very very important.
Just by knowing a little bit, you can actually increase your vocabulary to a huge extent. For example, look at this verb. This is a verb, right? It means he played here. He's playing as now.
Alhamdulillah, we also are doing little bit of mudar. So we understand how present tense works. So what is happening is just by adding mean before this verb it became the place of doing that verb. So this is called ismul makan. There are patterns. It's not just the one pattern but there are many patterns. But this one pattern see how beautiful it is. If you just know that you add me before the farma of the verb and it will become the place where the action was done. Kataba means what? To write. If you add mean before that it will become mak to place where the writing takes place.
Sada means to prostrate to Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Just put me before that what it became masjid.
Subhan Allah. You see how easy and how interesting it is. So if you just focus on things you will learn a lot of things. I'm not saying that you join me to every verb and this will be the result. No for some verbs this will be the result. Some verb you need another pattern. So don't feel daunted when you come across the word pattern. Oh pattern what is this? How am I going to do that?
These patterns will make your understanding your learning very quick and very interesting inshallah. So the father is saying is coming question is coming with the choice. Did you play the football or the basketball? So you see um is coming. We know that when the question has got a choice then we use um and the first choice will come with the Hamza and the second choice will come with. Did you play football or basketball? So now the sons they are saying today we played football. So was the verb and what did they do? They added noon and if which means we here you see I told you it's very easy lesson inshallah today we played football we played the basketball last week or the past week and then you see new thing is coming something not the new but something we already learned and again fresh revision so The father is saying did you not go to the library today?
What kind of question is that? It is called and it means that the question has got negation. So we can see this ma is coming here ma which means no right. Did you not go to the library today? And they did go. So how are they replying?
Bala. Yes indeed.
We went. So you see once again the usage of this plural n. So basically we have seen two type of plural pronouns today.
One is to which is used for you all male and this is n which is used for us. So once again another plural.
So the father saying what did you read read over? What did you read over there? Tum. This tom is also the pronoun plural pronoun. But for the second person when you are speaking to somebody but if you are in a group and you are talking about yourself then you will use this na pronoun. We went you all males read.
So the father the sons are saying we read the newspapers.
You see who can tell me what kind of word is? What is the of? What is it doing in this sentence? What kind of sentence is that? Can you think of comes from which verb to read? Means he read means he is reading or he reads the command read. So they are saying we read. So now reading you need somebody will ask what did you read? So they're saying this is and then the father is saying did you hear the news from the radio station today? Now there's another verb here past tense present tense command means he listen he is listening or he listens and isma you listen when you when you want somebody's attention you say isma listen to me is means listen to me only isma means listen so the the father is asking them did you hear the news from the radio station so of course Sam is coming here in the past and seeing me and then you all male. How will you say you all because you all m did you hear the news from the radio station today? So saying once again is coming and the word we heard. What did they hear?
Why is being used? Because is the plural. The singular is this. So we know that the plural of irrational nouns are treated as singular feminine. So this is why is coming. So they're saying yes we heard them or yes we heard it. So the father is saying from which radio station did you hear?
Remember sisters we have we've said that before that the word which comes after I is and we can see it will never be so from which radio station did you hear?
So the sons are saying we heard from three radio stations.
We heard from three radio stations from radio station Aliad from radio station Alah Cairo and the radio station London and we know London is is dipto hence it will not accept any tan or any kasu I heard that we know this ana is coming from where is the sister of we've studied that before sisters right so I hope all of you remember that I heard that bilal is sick and the meaning of is that and because is from the sisters of what will happen to the word which will come after is obviously and that will be mansub so we can see and the is always so here we see so I heard that The bal is sick.
May Allah subhana wa tala have mercy on the soul of Abdurim. Look how beautiful he's bringing two different variations of. Here Anna is coming and after is apparent noun. Here Anna is coming once again. But here pronoun is coming who.
We know the list of these pronoun. Here it is. The same pronouns which we use when we use them as we use the same pronouns when we use it for is anything which requires mansu after that. So for example they require that their is has to be mansu. So we are choosing this mansu pronoun. Can we say if you think can I say please press one. I hope nobody's going to say yes. Nobody's going to say, no one, nobody's going to type one. Well done. We cannot say. Why? Because this pronoun who these are murfu pronouns.
They can only sit in the chair of mu. On the other hand, these attached pronouns, they can sit in the chair of mansub and they can also sit on the chair of majuru depending on what is coming before that.
So Allah is coming. So this who is coming and sitting in the chair of Ismo mustacha and that he is in the hospital mustacha after you see mustacha last letter is not having any haraka. Why?
Because we studied that this word is called ismul is so all such words which are ending on al if they will not accept any we'll see that in a minute inshallah. So and the word is coming with the word means bilal. Here it is the transition that and as we explained earlier it is and is the so is from is the mansub and is the so- this word this type of words which are ending on this yah I'm saying yeah so that all of us can understand if Somebody is having difficulty understanding but it's not yeah it is called al if and it is called al if maksur here is the expression given we've seen before as well this is called aliful maksur and this al if will not hold any we have not seen any on musa right I hope we all remember that so he's saying is this correct so the sons are saying this is correct May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala cure him.
So yes, is the verb. Is the past tense is the present tense. Is the is the dua.
Of course we are if you only Allah subhanaa tala can cure. Right? So we are going to use this only for asking Allah subhana wa tala. And when we use the word uh imperative verb or command verb or that is only from somebody higher to lower to Allah subhana wa tala we make dua right. So shafa is our verb and who is what? Who is if you look at the full sentence this is a verb sentence. Shafa is the verb. So when there's a verb we must look for the doer as well. So look for the doer. Is there any mu? We find Jalala coming hereal coming here as so we know that this is the in this verb and who is mafi mafi is this who what does it mean him we know the transition it's about bilal who is sick so this who is the and it is but one somebody may say shafa was written like this I understand and why did not I like this the way it is written here because why This has been changed. This alif was written like al if maksur. Why it has become opened up? Because you cannot, it is a spelling rule. If you want to attach a letter to this word shaf, you have to open this to shafa with al if and then add anything. You cannot write like this. This is wrong. The correct way to write is shafu. Right? I hope you are getting that sisters.
And then so the father is saying amen.
Amen. May Allah subhanaa tala accept it.
When did he enter the hospital? So the sons are saying he entered 3 days ago. So is the and is we we know that after the next word will be.
Then the father saying where is the book with red cover? We have seen zoo before. Zoo is coming once again.
Which was in my room.
So we know the meaning of do. Thou could mean having or possessing. Here the book which has the cover which is of red color. So here we can say al ah and zoo both are n for the book. But let's not not go into this detail. This we will do when we'll study in detail inshallah. There's something else new coming here today is. So if you look at the sentence let's break it into two parts.
Where is the book with the red cover means which and we know and then it is coming.
What's the meaning of kana? Kana means was kana means was which was in my room and he's continuing his question.
Did you all see it? So hamza is for the question ah we as we can see question mark is coming that and then after that there's a verb we have seen this verb before ra means to see and then to is coming but he's asking to all of them so he's saying to and then to is coming and then this wow is coming this wow is coming for the ease of pronunciation we will see the examples of that as well usually we just say isn't it we sayum But if you want to add a pronoun who with that imagine if I say like this who is difficult isn't it because this meme has got sukun and then if you bring another if you bring a ha here then after sukun you immediately have to pronounce dhma it becomes difficult maybe you say it is easy for me maybe in your language it is easy for you for Arabs they don't find it easy so they have made things which are easy for them this is how it is in their so every time You see this word tumm coming this pronoun tum coming you will see if there's another thing connected to that like this ha then the wa will be attached there and that will provide you with the ease in spelling originally it was to plus who ram plus who but it will be difficult right so hence wow has been added to make it easy now the thing is if if you put a wow and you have this pronoun written like this And then you simply add wow after that wow is what's going to happen. So what do you do? You put a dma on the meme. So you you resolve the situation of meeting of two sukuns and you can pronounce it.
If I say and then I want to say wow which is with sukun. How can I say that?
I can't say that. Isn't it? So we will see more examples of that inshallah. So these are small small final points for our understanding.
Thank you for saying before we move forward. Kana as I said to you kana means was. What is kana?
Kana is the word. We will see more detail of kana. Kana means was.
Is the present tense which means being and means be it.
Be hardwork.
Be a student. Right.
be good.
So Ysef is saying when the father asked about the book, Ysef is saying so what is the verb means he took means he is taking or he takes and means take. It's you see interesting thing about these two verbs.
When you see the verb and when you see the verb when you look at the it's only two words left there. But when on the other hand you see and you see at the command form it's still all three letters are from the verb are present.
Instead there's one additional Hamza is there. We'll see why Hamza is there in in later point inshallah. But right now the point is all three letters and this hamza which was in the last of this is present. But here this hamza is gone from the beginning. We have only from this ka when we are making the u imperative form alif is gone. So inshallah these things will come in detail. I'm just bringing this into your notice so that you have some curiosity.
I might just have simply moved and perhaps some of us might not have even noticed that but I'm telling you so you you mind is prepared that something this is possible when you see the Quran you are able to understand that inshallah in future lessons we will learn more about that so you saying I took it last night and I read half of it I have a question why misf and not mis F. These are two words, right? Nis means half and who is the pronoun. So why nisa?
Can anybody tell me? I will tell you. I hope you have your notebooks open and every time there are questions in the class if not in the chatbooks at least you writing in your notebook. So k is your verb to is our file to I read. You say what did you read? So he wants to say I I read half of the book. Sovah who is mud half of it. You could also say half of the book. But here as we as we know if you have already used some word and there's a opportunity for you to use the pronoun then you should use pronoun.
So nisvah two explanation nisvah is mudaf and who is mudaf. There could be possible that you could say nisvah and after that instead of dam but here dam is coming as mudaf. Why this is nisvah? Because this is the object of the uh fail of reading. What did I read? I read half of the book.
Half of the book. So nisvah this is why it is mansub. In some other situations where there was no verb it is possible to say half of the book. So then the teacher saying sorry the father saying and where is the magazine?
We know ali is called in Arabic. In English it's called a relative pronoun.
Why it is ali and here it was ali. Can anybody tell me? In the previous sentence it was ali. Very good. Because it depends on what you were talking about. We were talking about or the father was talking about the book in this sentence. So book is masculine.
Hence alazi was used. Alazi is the masculine form of ismul. Whereas ali is the feminine form of ismul. In English both will translate as which. But you see Arabic is very rich language. You can find a lot of expressions in the words. There are different different words for different different things. So in English both you will say which. But in Arabic if you are talking about masculine you will say which. For feminine you will use is coming because he's asking about and is feminine because ending on tama. Then he's saying Which was under that book?
Kana means was. We said was, right? Kana means was. As we see here, why is coming here? What we are talking about?
This is feminine. Hence, ta has been attached with that. This tan is without it. It would be just kana. For example, alk was masculine. Hence, we use only kana. The book has not used kat. But here kat is coming. Just because it is it is feminine which was under that book and we know is the lighter form of so something if that's not too far then you will say you can say but if you want to say still you can say that that's not a problem so is saying is this it so the father saying no the magazine seen with the yellow cover. So we studied zoo before and today we saw zoo as well and we say zoo means having or possessing but why zu is used here not zoo because when you are so you are talking about masculine you will use. You are talking about feminine you will use zu. We know that alhamdulillah that the is the masculine form and zatu is the feminine form. So Marwan is saying it is with me.
I took it today. So is your word. Now is your past tense is the I took it.
What did you take?
Now he's referring to you could have said but because the word is already being used now you are allowed to use the pronoun. So he's saying I took it today. We saw uh different different names and they were having tanwin marwan. Why this has no tanwin al why this has no tanwin? Ah because al abu has not tanwin because it is dipto muminous. Isn't it sisters? The reason is alu do not have tanwin is because it is muminous. It is dipto. Am I right? If I am right press two. Let's change the numbering system today. And if I'm wrong, press one. If I'm wrong, press one. If I'm right, press two. 30 seconds. Al Abu, it's is it a dip to my thinking is at the moment, yes, it is. And hence, I think if you agree with me, please press one. And if you disagree, then press two or one and two, whichever you like. You know the answer, isn't it? Albu is not a dipto word. It's a trip to word. Al Abu has got a dhamma because of al if and lamb whereas on the other hand marwanu is dipto there's no al if and lamb and still there is no why because marwan is the name ending on al if anduan right I hope you remember the sisters I hope you do revise we are coming towards the end of this level right you must be revising so there's another it means to ring it's used for bell Somebody may say the bell rang. The Okay, this is a verb and we know why.
Can the bell ring? Yes, that's what I'm saying. The bell rang. Can the non-human beings also be file? Yes. Why not?
The car left. So we don't we use right.
So what is file? File not necessary has to be a human being. The def in the definition of file you will see that file is anything which is connected to that verb which is associated with that verb right which is attributed towards that verb towards that action. So here the action of ringing is attributed to what to the bell. So for is which verb?
To stand means to stand. Yakumu is the present tense with the usage of yah. We have studied. Look here is coming as as well.
Yah. And this wow means so. This is just a you can say so. And depending on I think most likely the best one is so.
But if and is used is fine.
And he opens the door. What is the verb?
Actual verb you've said it.
Remember is in the past tense. He opened is he's opening or he opens as we see the translation baba. Why al baba and not albabu?
Because he opens. Opens what? Opens the door. So albaba is why it is coming as albaba and not albabu.
and his sisters enter.
So daughters are saying peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and his blessings.
So Alj all of them Alj means all of them they said and peace be with you and Allah's mercy and blessings blessings. So the father saying where did you go oh my daughters we know plural females means you old females went so he's asking is the tool of asking a question which means where so they are saying we went to the principal we went to visit the principal subhan allah beautiful you They are using the haba. A while ago the boys also used zhabna. So what do we understand? We understand that the wordabina means we can be used by males and can be used by females. Both both group of males and group ma females can say we went. Likewise for I went this two pronoun can be used by male and can be used by feminine. So a male would say kabu I wrote. Female will also say katu that will mean I wrote but now she's speaking is her. So it's you know you will know from the context that who is doing the talking. So male and female both will use to when it is in first person and na will be used for the group of people whether they are male or female they both can say use the pronoun na. in case of going in case of writing in case of eating in case of drinking in case of leaving. Right? I hope you're getting that. So the father is saying what is this?
Masha is a verb. Masha means to walk.
Yami means he is walking or he walks.
And imshi is a command. If you want to tell somebody walk, you will say and mash means in the past tense he walked.
So he using so is for asking question and then masha is the verb and then is you all female plurals, right? So we use the pronoun for you all females for the plural female. So saying once again the is the verb is the pronoun it did you all females walk or did you all females go by car.
So the daughter is saying we walked because her house is near from our school. Lea we have studied before isn't it? Lee and Anna together makes it the meaning of because Anna comes from where? Which which group? sisters.
Very good. We have studied that. And when this is joined with lamb it the meaning will become because we walk because her house is near from our school.
You see our school it is between the masjid and the school.
So where we've seen mashayam shei means to walk.
One more thing once again you see here masha is coming this is al if maksura right but when you are attaching with the with a pronoun it is becoming yeah it's not masha and as I told you earlier this cannot be used to connect with something in the previous example it it became al if when it was the verb here instead of al if we are adding yeah why there is a reason for that we will study that in future But just for now understand that this is how the spelling of this verb will be when it'll be attached with the pronoun. All of this is called surf right morphology. We will do that inshallah in future lessons part of it.
So means because and this is from so the of it will be. So you can see is the and is the and is I hope it is clear. So the father is saying did you find did you all plural females find her in the house? What is this?
It's a verb.
Means to find. He found he is finding or he finds or jid means to find.
So this verb is being used here. But this dal is getting sukun. Whereas we had a dal which had a fat. So what is happening? We know that when a mutaharic pronoun an active pronoun the pronoun with the vowel sign will be joined to the verb then the third letter of the verb will get. So we see here it has got.
Did you find her in her house? So the daughters are saying this is the conjugation of. So after the word bajada they added na which means yes we found we found who somebody say you found what we found her and this is why this pronoun is coming just to point towards we sat with her third of an hour and we left from her house.
We left from her house at 5:00.
So this word means one/ird and we will see inshallah in this lesson that what is the what is and what will you say for the half? We already seen we say for the halfness but we will say that again inshallah during the exercises. So the mother is now joining the conversation.
Did you see the broom? So we have seen the verb and this is the for the question and and then means you all females. Aln what is mnat? The broom.
I re I search for it a lot but I could not find it. So this is a verb.
means to look for something or search for something and this to is the file because she's talking about herself and this ha is going to the broom. But what is this undoing here to? So every time you will see the word you will have this word uncom. So this is how they both come together like we have seen before be happy with. So this is how the verb is written. We'll see all of this in detail. So don't worry about it. Right now I'm just going into um on the surface level detail. So at least you know that there are new things here. If we just had to read translation sisters I could have just sent you. We could have just send you this translation on the group isn't it? The whole idea of coming to the live classes that you understand more than translation things are getting repeated you get pointers towards those thing and it becomes strong and strong in so saying and as I told you this is a word it comes with and has to search for or to look for. So suad is saying I put it under the stairs this morning.
Why this is not coming as sabah? There is a reason for that. Uh but we will not go into the detail. We'll do that inshallah afterwards. This is badal.
On the surface level this is badal and badal takes the harakat from the word which is coming before badal which is called mubdal minu. And we have seen that when ismishara is coming and after that a noun is coming with al if and lamb then that is called bad. In the past we have seen a sentence this is the book. But when we put al if and lamb because was kab was but as soon as we joined al if and lamb with the it changed. We said is the and is the ist and is the so then the question was how the translation change meant this is the book means this book.
So if I say this book what about this book this book is new this book is old this book is difficult this book is e so we need aar so we have learned in that particular lesson that was in our book one that this book is new so all I'm trying to tell you here is bringing that example back is that it will inshallah jog your memory that after if the word will come with al if l it is called bad and what badal does is bal takes is a from the word which is coming before that We'll not go into too much detail when we discuss the we will do that that time inshallah. Right now just letting you know that this is the reasonshallah. So Marwan is saying yeah by the way this is this is the whole verb means to put. So he put or he kept he putting or he he is keeping orid means you put. And this is the whole conjugation of this verb which is used here.
So then Marwan is saying oh my mother is there cold water in the fridge we are thirsty. He didn't say we've studied in the last lesson is used for singular. If he was alone he was only person who was thirsty. He would said but he's talking about all of them.
He's speaking on behalf of everybody. So saying should we know this is the plural of so the mother is saying means good news.
What kind of word is that? It's a verb on the pattern of but we will do that inshallah in future lessons. So she's saying good news in it is the cold water and the orange juice.
If I ask you what kind of question is this? What kind of statement or what kind of sentence is that? Who can tell me? I'll give you a choice.
This is a particle sentence. This is a herf sentence.
Have you studied her sentence? Is there any her sentence in Arabic before? Have you seen that? But this is beginning with her. It doesn't matter if it's beginning with the h. It's not h sentence cuz there's no sentence. We only have noun sentences and verb sentences. Jumla is and failure. This is a noun sentence. Noun sentence. Why this fee and ha coming before? Because we know when the mtaga is without al if and l and the of that mtaga is phrase then that phrase will come early.
Phrase will come and we will say is coming early. It is advanced in mta has been delayed. If you read the translation or if you think in your mind what does it mean? It says in it is cold water but what is actually cold water is in it. Isn't it? This is how we said cold water is in it. But here fiha is coming before just the reason is that our mta do not have alif. So mtka has gone to the second place and kabar has come early. So that was the end of the text. Now we will uh do some exercises and this is comprehension. As uh now we know that that we need to be able to understand the text of the lesson whatever we study. So we'll have 2 minutes. In 2 minutes we'll quickly go through the text and then we'll try to answer this comprehension. So our 2 minutes starts now. Sisters please go through the text read it quickly. If you think you have missed something and if you think you have understood everything and you can answer that without looking into that that's not a problem. J will just give a little pause and then we'll come back again in 2 minutes.
Okay, let's have a look at the questions now.
Where did the sons go after the lesson?
Where did they go? They went to the playground. Are you able to say it in Arabic, sisters? How will you say?
So simple. After the simply add because because you are talking about the sons.
So the masculine and they are plural.
Second is you see how beautiful it is. Was your verb you simply added wow and alif after that I would request you sisters that please pick the word and write the conjugation because the words which are ending on this hamza when you are adding another nouns to that sometimes you will feel okay this is oh is this correct or is this not correct because you'll feel this way because they're not connected.
If you see every letter the last three letters are written separately and sometimes you will make mistakes in or we will make mistakes in the so it's best that you practice these verbs especially write the madi conjugation of soi they read the newspaper from which radio station they heard the Who took the book? Look sisters, you see now has got a man. So what do we do? We put a here and join. But it's not always if we find because man has got the last letter of the man has got sukun and the first letter of the next word has got sukun. So this is meeting of two sukuns.
So it's not that we will always add kasar. It can be kas sometimes it can be fatha right. How do we know that we we already have done some and we will do few more inshallah in the lesson in the course. But understand this belong this actually relates to the the wider understanding of the Arabic language. When we will continue with the course inshallah we'll understand all of that. So don't worry about it. Don't think sometimes kasa sometimes fat. If you will write enough times these examples, you will not make a mistake. In who took the book?
Who took the magazine?
Took the magazine.
First of all, this one. It was once again because is the file. So we can't say we must say because for sons what was that?
There was no ta there. Why? Because the doer was not feminine. Here the doer is feminine. Where did the daughters go? So you can't say you must say. Now when you say you are ending on sukun. Next word also has.
So how you join?
Where did the daughters go? So, where did the daughters go? What's the answer?
They went to visit the principal. Number seven, how many minutes they sat with the principal come? We know that come is used to ask the number become. How much?
Come is a question which is about the number. When you want to ask something answer of that is expected to come in numbers then you say come and the word which comes come which come come after come is no which comes after come is called tamese what's the name of this word here the name is tam the word which we see after come is called tam and tam is always mansub you see and tam is always Singular as we see here is a singular how many minutes they set with the principle in English you will say minutes because this is how in English is you will not say how many minutes how many minutes but in Arabic you will not say the prop the the um plural rather you will just say the singular you will not say what's the plural Where is the house of the principal?
Or you could say and the answer for the previous question was they sat with her for one/ird of an hour. Number eight was where is the house of the principal?
So you could say like this or you could say the first will be translated as it is between the masjid and the school or you could say her house is between the masjid and the school. So it depends how you want to answer. Both ways are correct. You can answer in both ways.
Then now is the verb. We have seen that why is coming? Because who is the doer? Doer is and is feminine. So that's why is coming where placed placed the broom.
She placed it under the stairs. Why is why there's a fat on mansub?
It's mafuli, right? Mafuli is always mansub.
If you think it's mafi, please press one. If you think no, maful is something else in in in this sentence, then please press two.
Look at the sent answer again now while you're thinking and writing.
Means he put or he kept but now Ta is coming. What does it mean?
She kept or she placed or she put. So fail and file both are there. Why? We can't see the the mirror of file because we already know that there's no uh doer here. We can't see anything coming asu here. So we know and if there is no name given then we will say she put if it was and then there was a name we will say but here only coming and there's no file is being found here so we'll say f is hidden means she put like means she went and what did she place what is this ha going to this ha is going to the broom al-mnasa Look ending that's why is coming. So if this is file this is verb file is hidden inside is here then why is it what's the reason because is under the st you remember all of these words are adverb of time and place here in particular this is adverb of place which gives you the indication of the place but it doesn't tell you exactly the And the word which comes after is always so we could see right I hope sisters you are revising otherwise you know I'll be very much heartbroken then you see we just uh studied this word look it's coming in the imperative form here the author is asking us put the sign this correct sign in front of the correct answers And this sign of cross in in front of incorrect sentences.
So now once again this is a part of comprehension.
The sons played football last week. Is it right or wrong sisters? It's wrong.
And then Bilal entered hospital entered hospital three days ago. Is it correct?
Yes.
We can't say because and is beginning with the so we will put a noon mentally here and with the kas and say and is the verb who's the doer obviously bilal is the doer where did bilal enter into the room into the house into the school into the hospital al- Mustacha.
How do you know this is mansu?
Because of this fa this fa has got a fat. Is this tell you that this is mans?
No. This word is called this word is ending on this aliful. This alif will not accept any. So this we know by looking at the sentence that this is a this is mansub. But if somebody askked us to write how will we write because somebody say for write the grammatical analysis write the we'll say is madi is what is the doer of the verb and him being doer is the sign of him being doer isma on the last letter we will say it is object of the verb And the an object of the verb is always mansub. And the sign of mansub is al the hidden. This is the concept we haven't studied. We will do that. But don't worry about it. I'm just telling you so you are prepared. Once again if what will we say is the file. So you say is the file and the sign of is on the last letter and the sign of mansub is the fat on the last letter.
We will say the same thing for mothers and the sign of mansub is fat on the last letter. What will we say for al- mustachwa? We can't say al- mustachwa is mafuli mansub and the sign of mansub is fatha. Where is the fat? It is there you will say sign of al- mustachwa is mafuli and sign of mansub is fatha but you will add one word with that you will say fath in English you will say hidden fat. The other one was apparent fat. If you understood it's fine. If you did not don't worry I just wanted you to know this. So in future it comes you are prepared for that. Inshallah.
entered the hospital three days ago.
Is it correct sisters? Yes, it is 100% correct.
The book its cover is yellow or the book has yellow cover. Is it right?
No, it's not right. It was Ahmed. It was red.
The house of the principal is between the masjid and the school. Is it right?
Yes, it is correct.
Four is where is the the whole sentence is the I say mother and I become quiet are you happy know you want to know what I'm trying to say about mother if I say the mother she found her groom you happy you got the information right so is what is let's see one by one first is the verb what is this doing here by as soon as we see on the we know it means the doer is feminine and In the sentence we move forward we do not find any word with the dhma any word which is murfu. So it means the doer is hidden inside. And this da is pointing towards that that the doer is female. So we'll say the mother she found al- mcnasa. Why al mknasa broom? Why it is mansuk? Because what is vajada? Vajada is the verb. So we have vaja. We have the doer of vaja which is hidden inside. She found she found what? The broom al- mikna. That's why it is mafulsu. And when we put this together this sentence, what will we say? We will say this jumla which is because it's beginning with the word this word sentence is sitting in the chair of the for this.
Is it clear sisters? I hope everybody understand that we have repeated these things many many time shouldn't be difficult. But let's come to this from the uh point of view of comprehension.
The answer is wrong because she could not find it. She did not find it. So recap. This was our today's lesson. I actually was thinking to do other things if you do wants to do that. I had few things planned but I was not sure if we will be able to take all of this and everybody will be happy with that because it's going to take time and it's going to take uh a lot of uh understanding as well. So then let's not do it this time. But this is kana. We'll see kana in detail. Kana comes in Quran so many times. You'll find it in the noble Quran many many many times. It's very very useful if you understand kana in detail. So inshallah we'll do kana in the next lesson. Right? We'll continue with the chapter. We will understand the kana text is done. Two exercises are done. We will understand the kana and then we will do the exercises related to the kana and other things in the next lesson. So for now if there's nothing else we would like to end the class sisters for coming. Thank you so much.
Subhan Allah.
