In MRI imaging, larger fields of view reduce scan time but significantly decrease image resolution and diagnostic quality, making it difficult to visualize fine anatomical structures like the labrum; this trade-off is particularly problematic in older scanners with body coils and STIR sequences, where image quality suffers despite faster acquisition.

This Hip MRI Scan Is Completely UnreadableAdded:
the right hip. But they did this field of view. This is like 10 times larger because in old crappy scanners, large fields of view like this make the scanning process much quicker and the image a piece of crap just like this. You can't properly tell anything about the lab room. I can say there are some osteo fights right there, but this is as much as I go because the sequence is crap. And they of course did a STR IR steer sequence I suppose because there there isn't much uh red saturation um artifacts and it's a huge sequence.
