WILL HYPE START FALLING NOW? (HYPE Price Prediction 2026)

[00:00:03]Good morning everybody. Welcome back to Selenex Crypto and welcome to a much needed update on Hyperliquid. We have reached my price targets. I've been telling you since I started covering Hyperliquid after I was back doing videos every every morning on Sunday that I thought it was most likely that our first price target was going to be around 96 and $70.

[00:00:24]It took some time to get there, but I reiterated on Thursday I thought it was most likely we were going to get there.

[00:00:28]So I'm I'm happy with that, right?

[00:00:30]Because ultimately I was right and I provided good guidance, which is ultimately the goal with these videos.

[00:00:35]So I'm going to try to do that again in this video. We're going to do a full update on the current situation for Hyperliquid.

[00:00:41]Talk about okay, is it actually most likely that this is like this is a strong resistance level ultimately a an expected price target. Is it most likely we're going to crash down from here? Do we see indication? Do we see confirmation for that?

[00:00:55]Or is it still most likely that we're going to rally up higher? That's my my ultimate question and my and my my thesis that we're going to test.

[00:01:02]And ultimately [snorts] I think that is a fundamental's question, right? Because the fundamentals are unquestionably at this point of time for Hyperliquid Hyperliquid, they're bullish, right? But the thing is and I just briefly spoke about that on Stellar on XLM as well. At some point of time the fundamentals are still going to be bullish and the price will have topped, right?

[00:01:24]Tops are always formed when the fundamentals are bullish. So we have to ask ourselves, okay, at some point of time Hyperliquid Hyperliquid is going to reach a valuation where the fundamentals are still great, but the valuation is most likely a little bit too high.

[00:01:37]Currently the valuation for Hyperliquid is sitting at $17.4 billion.

[00:01:43]That is the normal market cap, right? So that's not the fully diluted valuation. That's quite significantly higher. And in my opinion like if if you look at all the fundamentals around Hyperliquid, right?

[00:01:54]So you look at the protocol revenue.

[00:01:56]That's steady, it's still relatively high.

[00:01:59]Um if we're looking at ETF flows, those have been incredibly high, especially last week Friday. When we're talking about a hyper-liquid layer one, their own blockchain, that's actually doing pretty good. Uh I'll show you, right? I mean, why not why not here? TVL's $1.7 billion, but most importantly, if you look at the DEX trading volumes, you can see at this point of time, those are also becoming much much higher um with about well, hundreds of millions of dollars in DEX trading volumes in dollars being traded. So, ultimately, the fundamentals I I don't see any cracks in those. I would say, but I'm I'm covering quite a lot of stocks as well, I would say $17.5 billion is is still relatively low for that. So, I don't immediately think the valuation is too high at the moment. So, then the confirmation has to come from either bearish structure development or bearish flow. And at the moment, I I don't think we have that either. Right? So, I do think that we've reached a strong resistance level right here, and we can expect some bearish pressure, but ultimately, at the moment, the the structure is still bullish, definitely.

[00:02:58]>> [snorts] >> Right? We're we're in an uptrend, and 2 weeks ago, we were able to break above the previous all-time high, um which was one of the key reasons why back then, last week, I already told you that based on the structure, I thought it was most likely we were going to rally up higher, because usually when you break an all-time high like this, you rally up higher than just a couple of percentage points.

[00:03:17]So, the structure is still fine, and if you look at the order flow, I mean, yes, we have positive funding rates right now, but earlier today still, we actually had negative funding rates. So, so it's much too early to say that this is the top.

[00:03:28]Um as long as we hold this level right here at $64, $63, I think we're still going to rally up higher. And at this point of time, I do think that's most likely based on the order flow, based on the fundamentals. So, the next target is $74, $75. I think it's most likely we're going to rally into that. I would expect some more resistance right here, because it is a strong resistance level. Uh but that's what I think you need to know going into next week. Um and fundamentally, I mean, most of the fundamentals will not change overnight.

[00:03:45]ETF flows ETF flows when it comes to fundamentals, is something to watch because that's obviously is data we'll get every single day. If we see a drastic decline in how much inflows we have, or if we see God forbid, uh, outflows coming in, that matters, right? So, so that's going to actually shift the the equation. Um, but for now, that's not the case. So, I'll still have to tell you that I think we're going to rally up higher. Uh, hyper liquid at the moment is by far the most exciting or interesting thing within crypto as well if speaking attention and hype-wise. So, those are my thoughts. Thank you for watching everybody.
