This video effectively exposes how oversimplified coaching methods fail when faced with the nuance of infinite oscillation. It is a sharp reminder that true mathematical understanding requires rigor, not just memorized shortcuts.

The Problem That FOOLED Top Coaching Centers | JEE Advanced #maths #jeeadvanced #calculus #jeeAdded:
This is the JEE Advanced question that literally fooled top coaching institutes.
They all marked option B, but they were wrong.
Let's look at the beast.
Options A and D are easy targets.
Since the sine function makes this term at least one, f of x is always less than two, making x equals zero a maximum, not a minimum.
D is out.
And if we use first principles to check the limit, the derivative at is exactly zero.
So, it is differentiable. A is out.
Now for the real trap, B versus C.
Let's find the derivative for x near zero.
As x approaches zero, these x terms get crushed to zero, leaving us with just cosine of one over x.
Watch what happens when we graph this.
As we approach zero, the function goes crazy, oscillating infinitely between positive and negative one.
So, why did coaching centers fail?
Option B says it's decreasing, but our graph constantly hits positive one. That's false.
Option C says it's not increasing.
Since our derivative constantly drops to negative one, it is absolutely not increasing.
Option C is the truth.
The trap is exposed.
