Banfield trades the proven utility of Solana and XRP for the complex promise of an all-in-one cloud, falling into the intellectual trap of over-engineering. It is a bold bet on architectural purity that often ignores the messy, practical reality of market adoption.

XRP and Solana Were My Top Cryptos… Until I Found ICPAdded:
I'm Jerry Banfield and I used to be an XRP holder as far back as 2016. I bought Salana under $10. And yet I found something that made me drop out of those communities and sell everything. And what I think if you're in one of those communities today, I want to respect the position you're in. And I'd like to invite you just to research internet computer protocol a little bit because when I got into XRP and when I got into Salana, I got in there because people told me, "Look, these are going to make you money." I bought XRP way back in 2016 on Paloniex. Anybody remember that?
And I traded along with a bunch of other altcoins, but I didn't really get heavier into XRP until 2022.
I remember somebody emailing me on my website saying ISO 222 banks are going to adopt this. This is insider information, Jerry. And I bought thousands of dollars of XRP. I got on the bandwagon and I felt confident I was in a great position. And then I hyped up XRP on my new Jerry Banfield crypto YouTube channel that I made, which has since been deleted in favor of a Jerry Banfield ICP and a Jerry Banfield crypto reviews channel. I hyped up XRP and I found that if I hyped XRP up and said it was going to go to like $12 or something, I'd get a lot of views on that video. Now, it seemed questionable as to where those views were coming from sometimes because after being on YouTube now at this point 15 years, I just get an intuitive feeling when there's irregular traffic in my analytics. It looked like to me that there were bots pushing my XRP videos. And at the same time, I did get a lot of real people watching them also. So, if I did a XRP video, I'd get tons of views. Then I saw Salana under $10 after it crashed and I thought this is got to be the perfect time to buy. The thing with FTX, it just went down. All all the sentiment was maximum negative for Salana and I thought this has got to be a great time to get into this. So I bought Salana and I hyped Salana up and again I received a very positive reaction on my channel. So you see, as a content creator, I was heavily incentivized to talk positively about XRP and Salana. In fact, I found that the ad revenue alone would pay for me to purchase XRP and Salana that if I simply did XRP and Salana videos, I'd get so much ad revenue and super chat and all this stuff that I could literally just take that money and buy more of it that I essentially could get XRP and Salana given to me for free in exchange for making content. And even further than that, I found that if I did this with other coins, I could build up a a big audience. And then the more coins I told people about and supported, the more people really wanted to know what I actually thought was really good.
So, I started selling an online course for $300 on my website at jerryfield.com, which I no longer sell.
You will see that all I offer on jerryfield.com is very honest, downto-earth calls. You can pay $50, $49 and talk to me for 30 minutes. You can share your screen, your portfolio, or you can get a five pack or two and a half hours for 196. So, I have a very straightforward, very human, very real offering now. But back then, I was I had sold millions of dollars of online courses. So, I was in the habit of selling online courses. So, I made a crypto course. And one of the things I did to hook people into buying the course was I said, "You can get a one-on-one call with me." You see, as a content creator, I was being very successful. I started a brand new YouTube channel in December 2022, and I had tens of thousands of subscribers on it 6 months later. All organic traffic.
And my basic strategy was to hype up Salana one day, XRP another day, Cardano another day day, Bitcoin another day, Ethereum another day. But Salana and XRP were two of my biggest positions. And these were two that I hyped up the most often because I got the most views and subscribers from doing so.
The problem came in when people started actually buying the course after just six months with a brand new YouTube channel. Although I'd been on YouTube since 2011 and I had a channel with hundreds of thousands of subscribers that I did funnel some of them over, but only, you know, a few thousand came over. I built with mostly organic traffic in six months a YouTube channel is making me tens of thousands of dollars a month as a crypto content creator. And I was doing exactly what you see most other content creators doing. I was hyping up a bunch of different altcoins and I mostly hyped up the ones like XRP and Salana and Bitcoin and Ethereum that got the most views.
But then people started actually scheduling calls. Now these people had paid $300 to have a course and a one-on-one one-hour call with me. Not $49 for a 30-minute call, but they paid much more. And they asked me one question all the time. They said, "Jerry, you talk about all these coins.
you're hyped up on on your YouTube channel, but which one do you really believe in? I found that people scheduled the calls a after buying the course. What they really wanted was something simple. They didn't want to be told that there were 50 different coins they could have in their portfolio that might go up because that's what everybody else was telling them. They said, "Jerry, come on. I'm, you know, I'm a grandmother and I've got 20 coins in my portfolio. which one of these is actually the best. And I was humbled to find I could not honestly tell them, which after being in crypto nine years at the time felt it left me feeling pretty stupid. Like seriously, you've been in crypto nine years. You did your first Bitcoin video in 2014 showing people how to buy ca Bitcoin with cash, which that was pretty cool. And I did a Bitcoin course on Udemy. It was one of the top Bitcoin courses. I was one of the biggest crypto YouTubers in 2016, 2017, 2018, I introduced millions of people to crypto.
And if you remember, Dash and Steam, those were my big two for a while.
And I was shocked as these people had paid hundreds of dollars to talk to me.
And I found I was giving them answers that indicated to myself that I didn't really know what I was talking about.
Now, from their point of view, they might not been able to see it. I told them, well, I liked XRP and Salana better and Bitcoin and Ethereum better, but then I started to realize like, all right, I might be fooling them, but I'm not fooling myself. Like, bro, you do not know what you're talking about. You should have a very clear, simple answer, you should be able to tell somebody in one phrase, if they ask you, "What's the best crypto?" You should be able to say it. And I realized I don't know it. And that helped me when I realized I genuinely don't know out of all these coins I hype up which one's the best.
Like I could see some were better than others. Like if you asked me Salana versus Dogecoin, I'd say well I'd say Salana. If you ask me, you know, XLM versus XRP, I could give you the ups and downs. Like well XRP's got a higher market cap, you know, more brand recognition, but you know, XLM might have more upside. So I could do all that stuff that most other people would do with you. But if you asked me to cut through everything and give one ultra simple answer, where's the absolute best opportunity in crypto? I found I did not have a clear answer for that. And because I I was honest with myself, I'm like, "Okay, now I know what I don't know. Now I know what I'm looking for.
Now I'm looking for it." I remember at the time I watched this guy Invest Answers every day and I loved that his videos were data driven and he consistently he did he was not big on XRP but he hyped up Salana and I saw his data driven videos. He said that he had this crypto compendium with 500 plus projects and he had the best data in crypto but he never would share his compendium scores unless he reviewed a coin. And if you I paid to join his discord and ask about different coins and see if there was a way I Googled and searched all over to access the crypto compendium. It was something he didn't share publicly.
So I I watched him and he mostly did not like other coins. He mostly criticized other coins. He mostly liked Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Salana at the time.
Although Salana was a new acquisition to his portfolio at the time, which had mostly just been Bitcoin and Ethereum even was a bit newer. So, I watched his videos. I watched a bunch of other people's videos and I started asking my viewers on my live streams. I do crypto live streams for hours and just hang out with my viewers and sit there and take super chats and make a bunch of money all while the truth was I didn't really know what I was talking about that well.
I knew that, but a lot of the viewers didn't know it because I knew enough compared to the viewers that, you know, relative relatively it seemed like I was an expert. But I started asking my viewers honestly. I said, "Look, all these coins I've talked about, which one is the best? Which one's different than the other ones? Which ones could I expect to get the best gains in?" And my viewers kept telling me about this coin called ICP or Internet Computer Protocol. Now, one day I had hyped up ICP on my channel because I literally went through the top 50 cryptos and I just hyped all of them up because I saw that's what was working as a content creator on YouTube. Literally, all I had to do is hype up all 50 different top cryptos and guaranteed success for my channel, which worked. I mean, it worked very well. And since then, I've seen other people do that exact same thing and it worked very well for their channels, too.
So, one day I had hyped up ICP. Now, ICP had some different narratives and I'd watch Coin Bureau's video about ICP and several others. What I would do is I would watch like anywhere from three to, you know, 10 videos about a coin on double speed and then I'd essentially put all those videos together and hype them up. So, I did that with XRP, I did that with Salana, all the others. And I had done that with XRP. had watched like, you know, Coin Bureau's video and several other videos about ICP and did my generic ICP hype video with an insane price prediction. And ICP, just like the other coins, had a community came through, liked my videos, and subscribed. So, I'm sitting there with people from 50 plus different crypto communities all telling me things on my live stream.
And when I asked them, I said, "Which coin is different?" And I described the kind of coin I was looking for. I'm like, "I want a coin with the best technology. I want a coin that if I people come to me on a one-on-one call, I can say this one is absolutely the best. And I said, I don't know. Is that Bitcoin? Because at the time, my portfolio was actually pretty heavy into Bitcoin.
And then XRP and Salana and ICP were significant positions. And I had a bunch of others.
And people started consistently saying, "You need to research ICP."
And people weren't telling me that with other coins as much because they'd already seen my videos. It seemed my viewers understood that while I'd talked about ICP, I didn't seem to really get it. So, I started looking ICP up more.
And one of the first people I went to was Invest Answers because Invest Answers was a YouTuber I trusted. He had a big hundreds of thousands of subscribers, a data driven approach, video live streams like every day. and he was the re one of the reasons I had bought into Salana or maybe I bought into it slightly before he did but him getting into Salana and me were both about the same time.
So I was looking desperately through Invest Answers Discord server for information about ICP. He rarely mentioned it although he did frequently cover lots of other top 50 cryptos and compare them to his portfolio and come out with the conclusion that his portfolio was better and he'd explain why which you know makes sense.
But I looked through and I thought I could count on him to give me great ICP criticism. I looked through his Discord server, searched for ICP, and the main criticism was the price chart. I'm like, "Okay, well, yeah, I've seen a lot of cryptos with a lot of screwed up price charts over the years, but is there is there any anything else?" Like, I see the price chart is not good. And that was like the only criticism was the price chart and that it was a ghost chain that there's nothing happening on it. So, I literally kind of took that at face value for a while and didn't research much further until one day he actually did a video comparing Salana to ICP. And I was like, "Nice, I'm already holding Salana and ICP. This guy, you know, I trusted him that he had this great data and all." He knew all this stuff that I didn't know. He seemed like an expert compared to me. And then I watched this verse ICP video.
Uh, a little backstory before this. I used to be a police officer and a correction officer. So, and before that I was a child who grew up in an alcoholic home with a father that got sober when I was 6 years old. My father was not int emotionally intelligent. My father would explode emotionally. And therefore, as a child, I learned to very carefully read my father and his emotions because in in certain moods, my father would be playful and fun and you could get away with a lot. But, you know, just like the way my father would walk in the door or, you know, the way he would do a small thing, I could see it's time to keep my mouth shut or, you know, you're going to get hit or spanked or put in your room. Like, this is dad is not in the mood to mess with right now. And this is a skill, you know, maybe a lot of the people in the population don't have. I learned to kind of read people's feelings and emotions and intentions and whether they were safe or not and whether they're telling the truth or not, especially as a police officer. and a correction officer is really helpful. Now, I didn't always get it right, but it was very helpful to kind of I I practiced intentionally reading whether people are telling me the truth. In the case of Invest Answers, I just hadn't thought to like do that. But then when he presented the video comparing Salana to ICP, I detected that there was deception there.
Whereas I hadn't noticed that in his earlier videos. But when he compared Salana to ICP, I noticed he intentionally or there were there he put a dash in a couple of ICP metrics and he explained why whatever ICP's metrics were were invalid.
So I said, "Well, that that doesn't make sense. I don't understand why this guy with all this data couldn't come up with a transaction per second number for ICP." Like that didn't make any logical sense. my logical brain and you know the same kind of like police officer lie detector kind of thing went off in this video. I'm like something's not right here. And thankfully I actually went to investigate myself. I'm like I'm let me see if I can look up exactly what he's talking about. Let me see if I can just go do my own research because after all I'm a crypto YouTuber. I thought, you know, I should be able to look stuff up myself. I'm a big boy. you know, I I should be I should be finding out data for myself, right? Not just not just taking someone's word for it. So, I went into the Salana scan analytics because he put transaction numbers and he said in the video I remember comparing them that Salana was doing much more on the blockchain than ICP. So, I went to the Salana Explorer and I looked for myself.
And if you see on the soul scan that it's doing 3,000 transactions a second right now. So then I I went over to the ICP dashboard and you'll see the ICP dashboard's doing 8,000 transactions a second. If you do some math, that's two or three times. It varies a bit, but it it's two or three times as many as Salana.
And I thought, okay, why wouldn't he have mentioned that? That doesn't make sense. Why would he have dropped the transactions and put nothing for ICP and said that it was doing something invalid?
Why? Let me see if I can figure out why he said that. Why did he choose to analyze it that way? So then unfortunately from there I had to go down a whole rabbit hole. It was it was a good amount of work cuz I'm trying to I was trying to reverse engineer his thought process and I asked about it in Discord and I couldn't get a straight answer. So I reverse engineered his thought process. I'm like, what exactly is he saying is invalid on ICP when it comes to transactions? He was saying that ICP was doing transactions that didn't really represent any financial value being transacted. He was saying that it was a ghost chain based on he was looking at, you know, if you look in the last day, there have been 14,000 ICP transactions where ICP itself has been transacted.
So if you were to break out the calculator in that scenario and you were to look at you know divide 14,000 by 3600 which is transaction or you know seconds per hour. So 60 seconds times 60 minutes that's 3600 seconds per hour. So that's three transactions per hour three that's like and then divide by 24. So the way he was looking at it if you broke ICP down into only the ICP transactions every second that really there'd be like less than one ICP transaction per second. So by his methodology, he was saying that then that disregarded all the other transactions on the ICP blockchain.
So then I'm like, okay, well, let me see if that methodology makes sense. So I looked in at the Salana transactions and if you look at there's there's a lot of the Salana transactions that are voting transactions. So these are if you look you know the the vote transactions on Salana right now if you notice the you know the 60% of transactions on Salana are voting transactions. So the vast majority of the 3,000 transactions a second 60% are going to be vote transactions.
So yes then non-vote transactions are still a good number. So then I dug into okay well vote transactions it seems like he should have dropped that too to be fair because those aren't financial transactions.
So then I dug into like okay well why why would he drop those and he dropped all the other ones. So then I looked into well what exactly are these transactions he's not counting on ICP and that took me down a whole rabbit hole of like what creates transactions on ICP? How is the technology designed?
And then I realized well these transactions on ICP is these are are happening because this is a blockchain that is entirely different kind of infrastructure than Salana. Salana is basically a ledger, a transaction layer for transactions or like a ledger for transactions. So you could think of it basically like a spreadsheet. A spreadsheet can have advanced formulas. In Microsoft Excel, you can do a whole bunch of of things in an Excel spreadsheet with formulas and move things around and think of Salana as like a bit more of an advanced version of that. Now, I'm talking about Salana a lot, but what I'm saying also applies very heavily to XRP and I'll tie that in together in just a second. So with the transactions, I realized that ICP has so many more transactions because it's doing so much more.
In fact, it's doing the equivalent of almost 300,000 Ethereum transactions a second in terms of the raw amount of computation. I started looking up what exactly is ICP? How's the blockchain built? because I could I accidentally stumbled into looking at the architecture of this trying to reverse engineer Invest Answers analysis and what I found is that all these transactions represent a network that is a full stack blockchain. It's the only one in the world. And these transactions represent, for example, if you go to jerry bananfield.com, you just generated a transaction on ICP blockchain because the ICP blockchain will serve you my website. And I found that things like serving websites were being counted in transactions on ICP.
Now, while Invest Answers dismissed that, I was shocked by that because I had only thought of blockchains as something that you could have transactions on. Like I understood that Bitcoin all you did was send transactions on it and then exchanges did all the real work with Bitcoin. Same thing with XRP that all you would do is send transactions with XRP and anytime anyone's using XRP, the website would be hosted on a centralized interface and you'd just be using the centralized interface or the centralized wallet or even the hardware wallet which still is centralized because you're getting that issued from a centralized company.
Anytime you're interacting with the blockchain, it was through a centralized third party. I just assumed that blockchains were only financial ledgers, that they could not actually do things like host websites. I already understood that NFTts were pictures that were hosted offchain and the blockchain. I just didn't know there was another way to do it. But when I discovered internet computer protocol and I found, wow, you can actually put like this website is on the blockchain.
Now, at first I'm like, "Okay, I can see why that's generating a lot of transactions, but I don't I don't understand why. Why would you want a website on the blockchain?" So, then I researched that and I'm like, "Oh, if a website is on the blockchain, then all the security properties of the blockchain now are contained in the website.
That means your website can't be hacked because the blockchain can't be hacked.
That means all your data and pictures and NFTs can't be hacked if they're on the blockchain because the blockchain can't be hacked. Whereas, if your NFTs are off the blockchain and you just buy an NFT that has a hash pointing to an image hosted on Amazon web services, which is how the majority of NFTs seem to be set up today, then the NFTs offchain can be hacked. And we've seen this before where there's a picture offchain, you know, and then they're replaced with some graphic image or funny image or toxic image, but you see that if that was on the blockchain itself, you couldn't hack that. But it's the off-chain infrastructure that can be hacked. So, I had to get into all these technical details. And then I realized, wait a minute, wait a minute. ICP can host websites, databases, games, videos, NFTts, pictures, all on the blockchain.
And then that brings all the security properties to the entire ecosystem.
And then you can have a governance system. I I dug into ICP's governance system. I tested it. I used the staking because I did that with everything. I I had a Salana wallet and I had my Salana staked. I tested all of them but once I researched the infrastructure I found wow ICP actually has the governance system is fully on chain all the other governance systems are not fully on chain which means holding the tokens you're always delegating to someone else and truly it's not decentralized but ICPS is actually on the blockchain the whole governance system the whole wallet's on chain and the network nervous system which I did a tutorial about that in one of my previous videos.
From this rabbit hole of investigating Invest Answers, I realized, "Oh my god, I see why he hid this data about ICP."
Because if he showed the real data and explained the difference, he'd have to completely redo his whole channel. If he told the whole story about ICP, then it would make Salana look very limited in technical capabilities. that would ruin all the validity of the data and everything else he was saying.
And then I got into, oh my god, people in crypto are just clueless. I figured invest Answers just must not know any better. Like he just I I figured he must be like me. Like he he just didn't know what he was talking about. He didn't do this research. So then I got so excited about ICP. I sold my Salana. I sold my XRP. I sold my Bitcoin. And I sold my Ethereum. I sold everything in ICP.
And then I thought if people knew this information, then they'd see what I saw and they'd come piling in ICP. And tens of thousands of people did. I had a channel that got up to over 50,000 subs. And I introduced tens of thousands of people to the value proposition of ICP. And that's still what I do on my Jerry Bfield ICP channel today. And if you want that NNS staking tutorial, that's right there.
But I was very surprised to find over the next couple years, it wasn't ignorance.
Invest Answers. I actually did a video once I figured this out. I realized, oh, he knew what he was doing exactly.
It appeared to me he intentionally hid the data and intentionally minimize the comparison. Because if you have one thing that is so good it makes everything else look awful by comparison, then there's two reasonable approaches to take. One, dump everything else and go all in on that. Two, if it would cost you too much to dump everything else. If your entire position and a huge part of your portfolio is based on all these other coins, then you'd have to admit you were wrong on all those coins in dumping them. And if there were other reasons, if there were other reasons, for example, if your channel was owned by somebody with an interest in Salana or XRP, then you would not legally by your contract, by the non-disclosure agreement you signed, you would not legally be allowed to honestly present ICP because that would be a threat to the owner of your channel.
You see the the conflict of interest here. And this over the next couple years, I realized, oh no, I mean, I'd been into conspiracy theories a lot, but I realized almost all the top channels in crypto appear to be owned by someone who has discreetly bought the channel when it got to a sufficient size or set the channel up initially with the intention of promoting certain coins.
I realized that all of crypto almost all the media in crypto and almost all the influencers are bought and paid and they have non-disclosure agreements where they have certain coins they are going to promote and they will do anything to promote those coins and they will do anything to hide ICP because it threatens everything else in crypto.
For example, the crypto George cryptos are us. He actively suppresses ICP in his live stream comments. You'll get banned for mentioning ICP, but I looked into his videos and I copied the tags off of them to see what he was tagging.
He was tagging ICP in his videos. So, this is not something you could see on the public description, but if you go into the developer tools or use a YouTube tool and pull the tags off the video, at least I found when I did this research like a year ago, cryptos are usually tagging ICP in his videos. So, he was trying to get people's attention, looking for ICP, was trying to show up. He was very well aware of ICP, but at the same time, he was intentionally suppressing it in his comments. Now, maybe he's changed today.
I don't watch his channel. I don't watch Invest Answers anymore. And I'm simply stating what I observed of them in the past. But here's the here's what I've observed. Here's the bigger picture. If you're holding Salana, if you're holding XRP, these are two of the top coins in market value. These are two of the top coins in terms of communities. These are two of the top coins in terms of you've been promoted them relentlessly by people that I would invite you to question why they're promoting them.
And all I ask, this clearly hasn't been financial advice. I haven't mentioned any price targets or any of that. All I ask is do your own research. Look up ICP. It's it's this easy. You can you can go into say your favorite AI program like chat GPT and you can simply ask it something like what makes ICP unique in crypto? What is different about ICP?
And you could ask it like you know is is there a real world use case for this?
You know, you could ask ask your AI what makes ICP unique? What's different?
Is there a real world use case? Because where XRP and Salana are seriously lacking is there's not much of a real world use case. Now, I know there's people telling you all kinds of things like financial rails institutions, but XRP and Salana don't solve cyber crime because you have to use here. And look, the AI is going to explain it exactly to you. Most crypto networks are blockchains for tokens, including XRP, including Salana. ICP is trying to be a blockchain cloud computer. And this is ineffective writing because it already is doing that. There are AI models. ICP is solving cyber crime, data sovereignty, and AI all in one single blockchain that is fully functioning.
This is what makes and your AI will give you the same answers. ICP can run the whole application on chain which I just said the backend logic the data the user interface even web pages the the big point is Ethereum Salana the XRP ledger and most chains are just financial ress ICP is infrastructure now I've explained to you why that's important because if you don't have your full infrastructure on the blockchain for example if you're using XRP to send transactions and an AI and a hack hacker uses an AI tool to get into your website, they could steal huge amounts of money in transactions. If you're using a wallet like a a MetaMask wallet or a Phantom wallet or something that's a web a browser wallet, you could log in and everything could look fine. But if a hacker's managed to inject malicious code in any part of the system, whether it's your browser, whether it's something between your browser and the blockchain, there are all kinds of ways where these off-chain things can be attacked and everything can look fine on your end, but your wallet could get drained. And the DeFi protocols using all these things can get drained. the crypto games, the institutions, the enterprises, the companies, absolutely everything using crypto as purely settling transactions as purely a financial rail. The off-chain infrastructure is extremely vulnerable to being hacked and a very lucrative target. And with AI, it's getting easier than ever to do it.
That sets up a situation where basically only centralized big entities can have the security teams to try and stop all this hacking and to fix it if it happens and to pay to adjust things. This means blockchains like Salana and XRP are not friendly for the average developer to approach because yes, you might be able to start some things up and connect the blockchain, but if your application actually gains traction, you're going to need to start paying for a cyber security team, which is not cheap. And you're going to be every bridge, every offchain wallet, every single part of the system not on the blockchain, which is almost all of it, is a major liability. the future. I see things like XRP and Salana are on track to get hacked into oblivion. every single thing that's not very strongly secured will get destroyed by hackers and there's just too many points of failure for this not to happen or the you're going to have everything be completely centralized because the the only way to minimize hacking or to have you know like Ripple for XRP and Salana Foundation for Salana you will have to have these centralized entities take control of almost every interaction with the blockchain so they can go through and spend all the money to try and secure it. And the more third party stuff you have that's not built directly through Ripple or directly through Salana Foundation or some other quote trusted provider will be very vulnerable to getting hacked into oblivion.
On top of that, ICP has a reverse gas model. That's why you can generate a transaction going to my website without paying any money. It's unrealistic to expect users to buy XRP and Salana and then try and transact to the blockchain.
the masses the 7 billion people on earth are not going to do that.
Uh even better ICP actually already has functionality to create transactions directly on Salana which is not something you can do in the other direction.
You cannot code something on Salana to generate transactions directly on the ICP blockchain without bringing in all this third party stuff.
Even more if you want to scale Bitcoin and Ethereum ICP is the best solution for that.
and the internet identity is tied directly into it. So right now my question is is there any bigger value proposition in crypto than this replacing vulnerable centralized cloud infrastructure with tamper sovereign tamperproof sovereign software. Now there's examples of apps that are doing this right now.
Now, I know some of you will say, "Well, wait a minute. XRP is just trying to send payments, you know, across borders.
XRP is just trying to help banks transact with each other. Salana is just trying to help people buy memecoins, right?"
Let's look at it this way. If you have governments building their infrastructure like the Pakistan Digital Authority, this is a a pretty high signal. when you have the the Pakistan digital authority saying that they are building they're they're building on ICP they're looking to build out with AI an advanced you know they're looking to build their infrastructure out and become a digital leader and that means if you have organizations like the Pakistan digital authority and they are building their infrastructure. They are testing building their infrastructure on ICP.
Why? Because of what I just told you.
Because they don't want to be under surveillance control of US and Chinese companies that have centralized clouds and they don't want to build their own infrastructure over their own servers because they know they'll get hacked into oblivion. The US and China can just could just hack anything they want to if Pakistan sets up their own servers. ICP is the only solution and Pakistan is one of the top 10 most populated countries on earth. So they have a ton to gain from building with ICP on infrastructure. So you have governments moving onto ICP. Switzerland also already has a subnet running and is looking to do the same thing. But you so you have institutional highlevel government adoptions but you also have entrepreneurs on caffeine AI. So you've got the largest of the large levels of governments and companies that have a lot to gain from moving their infrastructure on ICP. And you have entrepreneurs like me who can crank out a website on ICP with Caffeine AI. And that matters when you have countries like Indonesia where you've got all these young hustlers, 20 years 20 year old guys. they they're educated and you give them a tool like Caffeine AI where they can just go in and build a website that can build out an entire business model.
They can go and build an entire business model using AI that has integrated instant payments, which if you're in Indonesia, trying to get someone in the US to pay you without crypto is difficult. Now, this is where the Salana and XRP financial rail thing breaks down because if a guy in Indonesia can't easily crank out a website that has crypto payments built in in a secure manner, then it doesn't matter if it's possible to send them. He just, you know, you could stick up Salana addresses. You could just have him accept things like Salana and XRP. But with Caffeine AI, the Indonesian hustler can crank out a website that has a fully functioning business system and then fully integrated instantaneous payments, all built in an application, all secured on the blockchain, all capable of individually having tens of thousands of users with their own wallet directly in the app. That's secure. Now this young hustler can individually build a secure application which he cannot do using XRP and Salana. All the infrastructure around it would be insecure. So this young hustler can now build an application that could go viral or he could pitch it to an influencer in his country and say hey look I built you this. I'll sell it to you for you know whatever h however much. And now the influencer has a platform that he could send all his followers to that has secured crypto transactions that's built fully on chain. So he doesn't have to worry about getting his platform destroyed by hackers, which if you're an influencer trying to build something, that's one of the first things that would often happen to you is you'd send everybody over to something and then you become a target from that.
So ICP has the largest of the large like institutional adoption and the smallest of the small with the individual hustlers. And when you put all that together and you keep in mind it includes Salana and XRP's whole narrative, if you you can send all the transactions you want on ICP just the same as you can on XRP or Salana, but you can also build your entire infrastructure. So if you've got a government like Pakistan that's building with ICP, then let's use some logic here. If they build their infrastructure on ICP, what are they going to use to send transactions?
They're not going to then use Salana or XRP or Bitcoin or Ethereum to send transactions. Now, they could use Chain Key, Bitcoin or Ethereum if they felt like it because it they're sitting right there and there's Chain Key USDC, USDT, ETH, Link, SHIB.
So you see, if the infrastructure solves real problems and is able to be built on by the young hustlers that have no capital, but they can pay for caffeine AI and they can crank out websites. Or you have governments like Pakistan, Defininity is giving them 1,500 caffeine AI licenses.
And you can imagine they're just going to build like crazy on that because they can build secure infrastructure that can't be messed with by the US or Chinese security state at least very easily because it's on the blockchain and then they build out something that they can truly have ownership over and that they can feel safe that the governance is transparent and open. So, what I hope I've done is, you know, I made some toxic videos in the past and I've I've hoped in this video I could reach out in a very polite and professional and understanding way and say, "Look, I flowed down the mountain on XRP and Salana, but I've ran into ICP." And what I see is going to happen is this is going to continue to happen with more and more people. More and more people holding XRP and Salana are going to discover how ICP is different.
They're going to discover how their favorite influencers have been either hiding ICP because they just didn't know any better or they've been intentionally hiding ICP from them because they were afraid of them dumping all their they're afraid of you dumping all your XRP, all your Salana and all the rest of your portfolio into ICP. Because when you look at the market cap of ICP right now and you you try and find it in the top 100, you know, the rugpull narrative has kept people away from it for a while in crypto. But outside of crypto, people care about real technology solutions.
The Pakistan government doesn't care about the price of ICP or the chart.
They care can this solve realworld problems for our country. The hustler in Indonesia doesn't care about ICP price chart. He cares about can I build an application on here that I can make money with. So if you look you've got Salana up here at you know market cap of 50ome million or $54 billion and XRP up here at $88 billion and that's not even fully diluted. So that means you need a lot of money to move that price up higher. And you scroll down look how far down ICP is. The market cap's only $1.7 billion. So this is the opportunity to me based on the technology. Does it look like ICP should be valued so much less than Salana? So much less than XRP? No.
It's crazy. I mean, right now ICP is valued like 30 times less. It's like a 30x to get to where Salana is. And you're looking at like a 50x to get to where XRP is. And then fully diluted, it's even higher.
So to me, if I was holding XRP or Salana and I see how big these are and I calculate how much money would need to come into these in order to move the price significantly versus if I look at the technology for ICP and I look at how a relatively small amount of money would need to come into this to move the price dramatically and I consider that I can also stake my ICP directly on the blockchain and get 6.67% 67% for two years or you can stake it for two weeks without delegating to anybody else. You do need to vote. So if you're interested in how that works, watch my ICP NNS staking tutorial. Watch the whole thing.
Don't miss anything because you need to know all that to get the voting correct.
But when you see people that look at this like, wait a minute, I can stake ICP for two weeks and get 2% on an asset that not financial advice could potentially 100 plusx based on the tiny valuation is today. I think if ICP was accurately valued, it would be up with Ethereum today. So, I think ICP at a minimum has 100x coming at an absolute minimum. Is that realistic for Salana where it's at today? Absolutely not. Is that realistic for XRP? Absolutely not.
Can XRP and Salana go down a lot from where they're at today? Absolutely.
especially as more people discover what I'm saying.
And uh I hope this has been helpful for you. At this point, I've given you almost 45 minutes of my journey from XRP and and Salana into ICP. I've given you this as calm and rational as I could manage with the love and compassion that I understand. You get into crypto to make money. And to me, if you want to make money, it should purely be based on logic and reason, not emotion. Emotion might tell you, "Oh, I can't sell XRP until I make a profit." That's emotion.
Emotion might tell you, "Oh, I can't admit to be wrong about Salana." That's emotion. Logic and reason would say, "If there's a better opportunity, I will exit my position for it." That's logic and reason. Logic and reason says, "I'll seek out the most asymmetric opportunity and then lock into that and I will not be deterred. I will not be thrown off center by emotion."
I think ICP is a logic and reason coin.
Now, much of crypto is emotion, but ICP to me is a logic and reason coin. It has all the narratives. It has every single thing you could hope for in a coin. And it has a tiny market cap compared to where it should be.
