[00:00:00]A lot of people dream about building their own home. Few actually take the leap. Today I'm headed to an architect meeting here in Wichita, Kansas to keep ours moving forward.

[00:00:09]We're building this place ourselves, mostly with our own hands. Post frame workshop, ICF house, a construction method I've never used before, so we're learning as we go.

[00:00:19]We'll be sourcing a lot of materials directly from manufacturers overseas, trying to build something better, smarter, and more intentional than a typical American house. This isn't going to be HGTV. It's going to be the real process, the wins, mistakes, budget decisions, permits, engineering, long days, and figuring it out one step at a time.
