It's Been a While

[00:00:00]Hello. It's been a long time since I've uploaded a video. I just had a look on my channel then and it's was October 2021.

[00:00:10]A heck of a lot has happened in my life since that point. Uh things that some people may be somewhat aware of, but to be honest with you, given the things that did happen to me and the current political climate, I am apprehensive to say too much. So, I I'm going to be very careful about what I say in general moving forward.

[00:00:35]I want to give this another go. Uh I do feel like I have a lot of wisdom to share, to be honest, based on my experiences and the things I've gone through. I certainly feel a lot wiser.

[00:00:47]I'm a lot older, so you would think uh that you would get some wisdom. I say I'm a lot older like, you know, 5 years older, but I think I can do this again if I am able to adapt my content to the modern world.

[00:01:05]Obviously, that does mean we all have to be a lot more cautious today due to censorship and due due to the repressive climate we live in. However, I don't want that to stop me trying to be a philosophical thinker.

[00:01:24]It will mean that I'm going to have to be very cautious and thoughtful about my content moving forward, but I think I have some good ideas about how I can do that.

[00:01:35]But in terms of my personal life and what I've gone through, as you can see, I I have moved. This is a different room.

[00:01:43]Other things have happened as well. I'm not going to be able to share everything. Uh it's I'm going to have to be very careful and selective about that. But as I said, I think I have a lot of experiences and wisdom to share. I certainly have a lot to say about the advice that is given to people in the current climate politically, including uh to men as well, to young people.

[00:02:10]Uh and I think I can add some, you know, insights myself.

[00:02:18]I'm also hoping there's still some of you out there.

[00:02:21]You know, there's still people out there who want to listen to me because it's been uh it certainly will be a case that YouTube might have uh adjusted the algorithm somewhat, so this channel wouldn't have quite the same reach. But, that's one of the reasons I've made this video. I'm not going to be talking about anything in particular in this video. I want to see how many of you are still out there. Please comment.

[00:02:53]This is a little bit of a taster. This is me saying it's been a while. I'm back. I have other things I've been doing as well, which I will tell you about over time.

[00:03:03]And I have missed doing this, and I've missed s- >> [snorts] >> the supporters that I've got out there.

[00:03:10]You're an amazing bunch of people.

[00:03:12]And it would be wonderful to reconnect with with you again, and do something which is typically me, which is something a bit different. I don't really follow any particular trend or try to fit into any camps.

[00:03:29]And perhaps that's one of the ways that I'm going to be able to move forward and make it work in the current climate because the more you try to fit into a certain camp, the more you pigeonhole yourself, the easier it is for people to kind of label you and to shut you down.

[00:03:48]I I don't want people to think I'm going to be kind of uh limiting my message or kind of restricting it in any way, but I do think we need to be realistic about how we talk about things in the current era.

[00:04:05]Nonetheless, that doesn't mean we can't have powerful messages and we can't have a powerful philosophical insight that we're sharing. And ultimately, for me, this channel has always been about philosophy.

[00:04:20]And that's what I'm going to tap into more than anything. I don't mind talking about what's going on out there, but I'm always trying to draw it back to first principles. Truth is the thing that we really should be searching for, you know?

[00:04:33]So, as it says in the Bible, seek and you shall find, and that's always been something that I've wanted to do. You know, I'm always trying to search for the truth. And many of you know about the journey that this led me through.

[00:04:49]Uh when when I started many years ago, and admittedly, it's it's been, you know, almost 5 years since I've done this.

[00:04:57]But, my life is a lot more stable now. It's a lot calmer. It has been chaos. I It's been very difficult for me over the last 5 years. I've been through a lot.

[00:05:08]But, I feel like this is a calling for me.

[00:05:10]This is something I need to be doing.

[00:05:13]And this is why I'm here.

[00:05:14]This is why I've uploaded this video.

[00:05:17]Over time, I might reveal bits and bobs about what's happened to me, but I have to be very careful about that. This is the way of the world at the moment, I'm afraid. And I don't want to end up in a situation where things affect my, you know, personal life unnecessarily.

[00:05:37]But, we'll see where this all goes. I've got some ideas of some videos I'll be doing in the future, and I'll tell you about some other things I've been doing as well. I've really missed you all. I hope there's some of you still out there and this video doesn't get like, you know, a tiny amount of views. But, as I said, please like, please comment. It'll be good to reconnect with some of you. I have done a few community posts here and there and things. But, yeah, this is me 5 years older, basically, getting back out there, and I look forward to connecting with you all again.
