The arrival fallacy is a psychological phenomenon where people believe that happiness and fulfillment will only be achieved upon reaching a specific goal or milestone, such as achieving a million subscribers or finding 'the one' partner. This mindset keeps individuals perpetually stuck because they never truly arrive at their destination, as goals are often subjective and continuously evolving. True fulfillment cannot be postponed until a future endpoint; instead, happiness should be cultivated in the present moment rather than deferred to an imagined future achievement.

Stop The Arrival Fallacy: Find Happiness Now!追加:
After sitting down and thinking about it for quite a while, I came across the very famous arrival fallacy, something talked about in psychology a lot, where we all have this idea that once I get to a certain goal, then I'll be happy.
Once I achieve the million subscribers on YouTube, then I'll be a success, and then it'll be worthwhile for me to do YouTube. When I find the perfect partner, the one that completes me, makes me whole again, then I'll be ready for marriage.
This is not to say date anybody, by the way.
In case you were thinking this is not your sign to to go back to your ex, or uh to [snorts] do something foolish, you know? Have a standard, but I think overall this fallacy of when I get to the end goal, when I have something worthwhile and meaningful enough to keep going for, that keeps us stuck forever, because we never truly arrive.
