A $20,000 discount is merely a desperate correction for delusional MSRPs that fail to reflect actual market utility. This analysis sharply illustrates that no amount of price slashing can salvage a product fundamentally misaligned with consumer demand.

20,000 OFF…and It’s STILL Not Worth ItAdded:
$13,000 off this Dodge Charger EV. Last time I was here last week, we noticed these discounts. And then we saw, wait a minute, what happened to the add-ons?
This dealer used to do like 2,000 plus worth of add-ons. Look at it. They made them free. They made them free, which I'm not going to act like they're doing all that, but hey, at least this is a step in the right direction. And they're not even just discounting that. I know their trucks. We saw 20 grand off before, but that makes sense because it's the only way to sell a Ram pickup truck that's 90k. It's going to be a huge discount just like this right here.
20K off a Dodge Charger EV. $70,775 down to 50,700.
There you go. 70 to 50. Those are the kinds of discounts that we need in today's market. And even the six-pack, they're not putting a sticker on here showing, but it's below MSRP. It really is. Every single one of these. No one's going to pay MSRP for a six-pack. I mean, look at this. 70 down to 57. But the biggest one is over here. $20,000 off an all-electric Dodge Charger. I feel sorry for the guy who, you know, was excited when it was first released and they were like, "Oh, I got to get one." And who knows, someone paid MSRP for this. You see how much money they lost now? I mean, brand new, they're selling 20K off. So, if you paid MSRP, wow, talk about being screwed over. And that happens quite often. But this is what Dodge Jeep and Ram dealers are going to. The biggest discount you're going to find is going to be at a Dodge Jeep and Ram dealership. But there's a good reason why. Because it's so overpriced. Even a Grand Cherokee right now. Look at this. 56,000. That's with no add-ons. That's the MSRP after they, you know, they they made all the add-ons free basically, which, hey, it's a step in the right direction right now in 2026 when a lot of dealers are starting to do that. It's not because they want to, it's because they have to. They have no other choice. If they want to sell this truck, it's 20 grand off. It just is what it is. Ram's the biggest discounted, which means it's the most overpriced. 2026 Ram 1500. Look at that.
That's 91 grand. No add-ons. That's the MSRP. Let me show you the MSRP sticker.
913. If you guys can see it. That is insane for a Ram pickup truck. At least it has the V8. I guess they brought the V8 back. Finally. It's been long enough, but they're just making mistake after mistake. Or at least they did make mistake after mistake. 92 Grand 2026 Ram 1500. And now they're trying to change things up. They're trying to act like they're an all-American brand even though they're owned by a European company. And they obviously went full European taking away the V8 and introducing an inline 6. I used to live in Germany and I can tell you one thing, they don't care about V8s. It's just they don't care. In America, they do care. It's pretty common sense. Any truck buyer in the United States is going to want a V8. Or at least I should say a lot of truck buyers. Not if you live in California or Colorado, but if you live in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, these kind of states, a lot of truck buyers want to get a V8. It's very common. It's a huge issue that Ram was having. This is why they brought the V8 back. They said, "Oh crap, we got to bring the V8 back. We really made a mistake." Anybody could have told them that, but they thought they were making the right decision. I mean, look at this. $94,000 2026 Ram 1500. But what I don't get about it is they keep acting like everything's all fine and dandy and they're just like, "Hey, it is what it is. We're bringing the V8 back. We're bringing cool cars back kind of. We're bringing a V8 truck. This and that." The problem is, are you talking about the price? I mean, come on. 94 grand? Are you Are you really being serious? This is $94,695.
That's the MSRP on a 2026 Ram 1500.
Topofthe line, fully loaded. I don't care what it does or how fully loaded it is though. It's a $94,000 Ram pickup truck. Who thought of this as a good idea? Whoever did I mean really.
And they're still employed by Stalantis.
Like it doesn't make any sense to think of that idea to say, "Yeah, we're going to build a $94,000 pickup truck and think, "Yeah, that's a smart idea." You know, it just I mean, make it make sense. You guys really And that's why they can't sell them. The only way to sell that truck is 20K off. $20,000 off.
It's a huge rebate from the manufacturer, Stellantis. And on top of that, you're going to get a dealership discount. But no matter how you look at it, that was a $94,000 Ram pickup truck.
That is way, way overpriced. It's not even funny. Here we go. We're getting a little bit more affordable over here, I guess. 89 grand. Is that Is that a little bit better? I don't really think so, man. these prices. I don't know what's going on. I don't know what they're smoking. What are they thinking to price pickup trucks in the 90k range in 2026 in the United States for a pickup truck? And some people will say, "Well, it's just the pickup trucks that are overpriced. Go look at the Jeep Wranglers. Maybe they're not so overpriced." Well, $82,000. Now, this one does have a V8 2026 Wrangler. And this is where I give Jeep a little bit of credit. If you go back to my videos, these 392 Jeeps with a V8, they used to be hundred grand all the time. Now I'm seeing them in that $82,000 range, which is way too much money. But they literally dropped the price 20K compared to what a lot of them were going for, but they took features away, making them less fancy Jeeps and then charging about 20K less than what they could be. But imagine spending a hundred grand on a Jeep Wrangler, let alone even 82 grand.
I mean, even that's crazy for a Wrangler. And that's why I mean in order to sell this it's going to be well below MSRP. And you see these work trucks right here. These are cheaper than almost anything on this other side. Like these 2500s are cheaper than the 1500s I showed you earlier. But I don't think anything is as bad as the allectric Dodge Charger. Some fanboys were all over this stuff saying this is the best car ever invented. It has And by the way, this has a fake exhaust sound. I don't know if I mentioned it yet, but it literally has a speaker for the exhaust.
If I mean, really, you know, make that make sense. We're grown adults here and we got to have a fake exhaust sound out of our electric car. Like, if you're going to drive an electric car, it is what it is. I wouldn't want to hear a fake exhaust. You know what I mean?
That's just crazy. 70 grand down to 50 grand. Having the discount at $20,000 in today's market and it's still sitting here. It's not like, oh, 20 grand and it sold quick. I was here last week. Same car sitting in the same spot. How long do you think it's going to be here? Same with this one right here. This is like a higher trim level package. People are supposed to want, I guess. I mean, they're putting Scat Pack on this thing.
They're just using the name trying to get it to sell. Really, Scat Pack for this. I mean, make it make sense. Dodge Jeep and Ram has done so much damage with this all electric Dodge Charger to their brand, it's not even funny. Now, they do have a little bit of hype, I guess, on these six-packs, but not that much. Not as much as you would think. If they brought the V8 back in this, maybe there would be a little bit of hype, but still, it's too much money. No matter what you say, it's still, you know, this one's 70 grand. There's $70,000 discounted, of course, but I'm just saying the MSRP to begin with is too much money. No matter what they do, no matter how cool they make a vehicle with the supercharged V8, it's still too overpriced. in 2026. Let me know what you guys think. Would you buy an allect electric Dodge Charger for $20,000 off?
Well, it's sitting here right now. It's been sitting here for multiple weeks.
20K off sitting on the lot here at Grapevine Dodge Jeep and Ram. They are trying to sell this stuff, but they just can't, man. They got to get 20K off to even think for someone to even look at it. Let me know what you guys think.
Have a great day and stay blessed.
