PageIndex is a retrieval system that improves AI agent accuracy by identifying and extracting specific sections from structured documents rather than retrieving random text blocks, achieving 83% accuracy on structured queries compared to 25% with traditional methods, though with increased latency of approximately 7 seconds versus 3.6 seconds.

Theta Network's Affiliation with PageIndex & Now Nodes | Theta Token Updates!Added:
Welcome back to the channel, guys. I really am excited to show you guys some of the other updates and then later on I feel like there's going to be some more things coming near the end of May, maybe June. But I feel like there's things that are going to start picking up with Theta Network. So, starting in X, we're going to see that. This was posted on May 5th of 2026. We just shipped page index for the Theta Edge Cloud AI agents. It fixes one of the most common reasons AI agents give bad answers and the benchmark numbers are worth a look.
It's also already available for your Theta powered AI agents. We'll dive into as to what Theta Network's relationship with page indexes, what page index has in store for Theta Network. So, I'm really excited to that about talking about that. But before going on to the article, I do want to mention of our sponsor of Theta Forum. So, just a quick message from them. With Theta Forum, you're able to have community questions have answers by the community for the community. You can see there are different type of categories that are listed here and it tells you what kind of date it was posted. Different directories meaning there's different aspects of Theta Network that you can probably ask. For example, there's just a couple from the beginning. You can see here, Theta Network Forum, Theta Edge Cloud Forum, Theta Drop Forum, so on and so forth. You're more than welcome to check out all the links down below in the description for this post right here. In addition to that, you can see all the other tabs right here as well.
Theta Edge Cloud, Theta Network, Theta Drop's website, Guardian Monitor, Theta Con, Mobile Edge Node Download. So, if you do want to sign up or log in, there is that page up here on the top right.
If you want to add your email so you'll be added to the list, I'm sure you'll get notifications when there's new posts or anything like that. But overall, like I said, check out that link down below for Theta Forum. Thank you Theta Forum for sponsoring this video. Now, back onto the other video. So, now going onto the actual article here, it's about a 3-minute read, pretty important I would say. It says, for example, "When a fan asks an AI agent question, the quality of the answer depends on almost entirely on what the agent retrieves from its knowledge base. Basically, the resources or its brain. The model powering the agent matters, of course, but the retrieval steps is where most failures actually happen. Pull the wrong content or a vague chunk of mixed text from a large document and even a capable model will give a poor answer. Fix the retrieval and the answers improve dramatically. Again, especially with all these AI partners that Theta Network has affiliated themselves with. For example, again, the Houston Rockets, Olympique de Marseille, some other sports teams, and e-sports teams. As long as that information is variable or is accurate, that is the point of Theta Network's potential for breaking out and being a very competitive, let's say, company in the near future. But again, none of the videos are financial advice. Definitely do your own research. This is the problem page index is designed to solve and is now available across Theta Edge Cloud AI agents. Most knowledge bases used by sports teams, e-sports organizations, and gaming brands are not simple collections of frequently asked questions. They contain guides, rule sets, strategy documents, news archives, and long-form content with clear internal structure where specific section answers a specific question.
Traditional retrieval systems don't respect the structure. They slice documents into a fixed-length text blocks, retrieve whatever block scores highest against a query, and hope the relevant information made it in. Often it doesn't or arrives buried inside irrelevant context that muddies the final response. So again, it just really helps clear resolve the answer that the customer is asking and retrieving whatever information the dictionary or the index, basically. So that information is accurate and helps out the customer. What page index does differently, when a user asks a specific question, the agent pulls the specific section that answers it rather than a broad chunk from somewhere nearby. So it really dives into the specific question, the details, rather than just finding something really quick and shooting out an answer. Here is an example. Looks like add new document to the knowledge base. If there's any other information pertinent to whatever question it is. It uses a routed approach. Page index activates only for queries that clearly match structured document content, leaving the standard retriever to handle everything else. General knowledge base performance stays intact while structured content becomes significantly more usable. On set of structured guide questions, this is just like the numbers for the accuracy. Under the original retrieval setup came up in at 25%, which is obviously very poor, three correct answers out of 12. With page index, that rose 83, 10 out of 12, while general knowledge-based performance held steady at 70%. So, you can definitely see the big bump here. One trade-off worth naming is latency. The best performing configuration average around 7 seconds on a structured queries compared to roughly a 3.6 seconds on standard setup.
For most use cases, this is an acceptable exchangeable for a three-fold accuracy improvement on a question that matters most. And that's what I would think too. Like, I would rather wait a few more seconds for a better answer rather than a quick answer that is the wrong answer. And or like 25% compared to that 83%. What does this mean if you're considering an Edge Cloud AI agent? Theta Edge Cloud AI agents are already handling thousands of fan interactions daily across major sports teams and global brands, answering questions, resolving queries, and keeping audiences engaged around the clock. The organizations running them know that an agent is only useful as the answer it gives. So, I feel like, of course, if Theta Network gets this right, we're going to be in a good area for AI or just like crypto since Theta Network is crypto. But again, we shall see as to how all customs, all all the legal stuff when it comes to government, things like that. So, we shall see and wait. And again, none of the videos are financial advice. We just got to wait and see as to how Theta Network gets inserted into the future tech. Page index is where the content finally becomes reliable, usable. The agent finds the right section of the right document rather than approximating from the nearest available chunk. Getting retrieval right across diverse knowledge bases requires more than one approach.
Page index is part of how we make sure the right tool is applied to the right content. So, altogether, it's pretty important, I would think, because again, if all these other companies start using AI bots, you definitely want to provide the right answer to your customers.
Otherwise, what's the point of having the AI bot? You might as well have a human kind of do the searching for you on your your behalf, basically. But again, when it comes to finances, I feel like it's a lot cheaper to have an AI agent and have a lot more quicker resources, but you got to get the information right. Feel like that's just the next step when it comes to just AI agents altogether helping out customers, but put your own thoughts and comments down below about what you guys think about that. And then last other thing here I do want to mention as well, NowNodes now supports Theta EVM, the EVM compatible interface on Theta Network.
Theta is a decentralized infrastructure network for video streaming, content delivery, edge computing, and AI workloads. If you scroll down just a little bit more, you'll see the Theta EVM delivers full Ethereum compatibility. You can now deploy solidity smart contracts and build dapps tailored for media, NFTs, DeFi, and entertainment. Existing Ethereum projects can be ported over with minimal effort. They offer, looks like here are their stats, and then you can look at more into this link here, and you'll see all the links in this video down below as well in the description if you want to go into more detail about whatever you want to see that you see here. All entirely, what this NowNodes is, whatever is on basically on Ethereum from what I might understanding is that you can now transfer over and connect it to Theta Network so that ease of a portal to connect from one bridge to the other is pretty important in my opinion just because you can have more customers, more dapps like they mentioned here, enter Theta Network realm, and then work inside Theta Network by connecting it through Ethereum if I understood that correctly.
But, put any other thoughts and comments down below, guys. I feel like with Theta Network is slowly building a good chunk of AI tech for the near future. I hope that's right, but again, none of the videos are financial advice. Definitely do your own research, but we shall see as to how Theta Network starts increasing their workloads, partners, things like that in the upcoming, hopefully, months, and we'll see how it is by the end of 2026.
Overall, that's all I really have for today's video, guys. Thank you so much if you're an OG viewer and subscriber in coming back to the channel. Would not be here without you. If you are a new viewer though trying to find as much Theta news, updates, NFTs, or any kind of Theta partnerships, please hit that like and subscribe button. Check out all the links down I'm in the description for all the links that I posted in this video as well as staking your Theta tokens to my guardian node. Either way, help out my channel, help out the Theta network, but overall help yourselves out. Earn as much TFUEL passively as possible and utilize it however you want on Theta Drop, Open Theta, any of the sub-chains on Theta network, or just withdrawing it back to your wallet.
Really am excited for the future of Theta network, future partners, any collaborations, businesses, things like that. I'm still going to be optimistic.
Of course, that's the reason why this channel is still growing and people are still subscribing to the channel. And people are still staking. So, I'm glad to say that there's still hundreds of thousands of Theta tokens on my guardian node. I am also thankful for the sponsors that are coming onto the channel. I will also would not be here without you guys. So, thank you very much. Really am looking forward to future of Theta though. Until the next Theta video, till the next Theta update, it is your boy Justin Sideri. So, try to keep up.
All right. Deuces.
