After dermal filler treatment, it is normal to experience swelling (resolving in 1-2 weeks), bruising (resolving in 5-7 days), temporary lumps (which can be massaged), early asymmetry due to swelling, and numbness from lidocaine in the filler (wearing off in hours); minor bleeding from needle insertion is also expected, but persistent bleeding beyond a few days requires medical attention.

Just Got Filler? Here’s What’s Normal After TreatmentAjouté :
Swelling.
>> Swelling is normal after filler, particularly in the first two to three days. Generally, it resolves by about the one-week mark after your treatment.
>> Bruising.
>> Bruising can also happen. That will resolve within the first five to seven days, typically.
>> Lumps.
>> Lumps can happen after filler as your body is adjusting to having the filler there. We'll recommend that you massage any areas where you feel a lump immediately after filler. Generally, they don't persist, but it's something that we would check when we see you back after your filler treatment.
>> Early asymmetry.
>> If you're noticing early asymmetry immediately after treatment, don't panic. That's normal, typically due to swelling. And when we see you back a couple of weeks after your treatment, it's something that we can very readily address and fine-tune at that time.
>> Numbness.
>> Numbness can also occur immediately after your filler treatment. That's primarily due to the lidocaine that's built into the filler product. And so, just like lidocaine that you'd have at a dentist or any other treatment, that's going to wear off in the first few hours, and you typically wouldn't have numbness after.
>> Bleeding.
>> So, it's not unusual to have a little bit of bleeding immediately after the treatment from the needle stick itself.
If any bleeding persisted beyond that in the first few days, that's when we'd like to see you back.
>> Amazing, natural-looking results.
>> Of course, at Chapter.
