The Price-to-Balance Sheet (PB) ratio is a key valuation metric where an increase in a company's balance sheet (due to profits) makes the company appear cheaper and more attractive to investors, as the ratio decreases when the denominator grows while the numerator (price) remains relatively stable.

AI & Quantum Investing: Future Portfolio Explained! #shortsAdded:
The past year looks like this. Now, if that happens over even the next 2 years, I'm happy. I'm fine with that. All right, my sister called me up. She lives in Nashville. I went to visit her last year and she said, "What should I buy?
Are you into quantum?" So, I'm going to address that question. I'm going to give you a bit of what I'm going to tell my Great Investments program people later on because I'm going to create a model portfolio of based on AI and quantum. And I wouldn't feed it to my sister if I wouldn't eat it myself. Okay? So, maybe she'll meet Taylor Swift in Nashville. Find out. I went to the Taylor Swift Museum in Nashville.
Big fan. Right?
And yeah, maybe Taylor will invest. But there we go. That's the past year. Now, if that happens over the next 2 years, I'm happy. Why? Well, cuz even if I'm throwing darts at a dartboard, there's a lot of green to hit. All right, excuse me. Year-to-date performance, mixed bag.
Microsoft down 14%. As some of you might know, if you follow my Prompt Public Telegram channel, if you don't, abishpatel.com is where it is. My free public Telegram channel, you'll know I bought more Microsoft. Apple's only up four.
Alphabet's up 25. Nvidia's only up five.
Given the amount of profits these companies are making, which you know what happens to profits? P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement. You know what happens to profits? At the year-end, go onto your balance sheet.
So, what happens then?
Your balance sheet makes your company cheaper cuz your balance sheet's gone up. It's a ratio, Maxwell, price to balance sheet. Warren Buffett's favorite valuation metric, PB ratio. Price to balance sheet. Balance sheet's gone up, price stayed the same, pretty much.
Company got cheaper, more attractive.
You got to look at both sides of the equation, but the equation is not just valuation, it's revenue growth as well.
Nvidia's still not doing well.
