Rising fuel prices create a cascading economic effect that impacts daily life through increased transportation costs, higher food prices, and reduced purchasing power, forcing individuals to adapt by reducing travel, finding alternative transportation, or developing additional income sources to maintain financial stability.

GAS PRICES ARE SKYROCKETING… PEOPLE ARE STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE 💔😳😭Added:
Why is gas $5 a gallon?
It's like, why do I have to pay for it?
And why is rent so high? And why Hey friends, welcome back to my YouTube channel. Please take a moment to like and subscribe to my videos. In today's video, I'm talking about gas prices are skyrocketing. I've put all the videos together so that you can watch. I'll be back to share my two cents.
Why is gas $5 a gallon?
It's like, why do I have to pay for it?
And why is rent so high? And why do I have to drive my car >> [music] >> to get the gas that I have to get to go to the job that I have to have to pay for rent? Why do we have to do all of that stuff? And why are you making it so [ __ ] EXPENSIVE TO DO IT?
I don't even want to get out and pump my gas. It feels like getting out and just knowing someone's going to [ __ ] stab you. Why even you get out?
This is beginning.
This is the beginning [music] of life.
What are we supposed to do forever?
Get a [ __ ] horse.
>> [music] [music] >> Gas prices are so high. My car is acting like it's on a liquid diet. You put gas in your car on Monday, by Monday afternoon, it's back on E. Like, what the hell? I'm starting to think they're not selling gas no more. They're just selling vibes. Because where is all my gas going so fast? And I'm telling you, in my area, as soon as gas hits about six, seven dollars a gallon, I'm done driving. Cuz already I'm feeling like, do I really need to go to this place today? Cuz gas is so expensive. Now, y'all remember when people said, "Oh, I'm not going to pay over $5 for gas."
Y'all remember that, right? Well, we've passed that exit a long time ago in certain places. So, what's the new limit for gas? Six, seven, 10? Or are we out here just swiping and crying at the same time? And for real, for real, I'm feeling like I'm just sitting here essential, like I'm a part of the furniture. Cuz if I don't really need to go anywhere, my car is not moving. Cuz gas ain't just expensive now. It's life-changing at this point. So, what's your cut-off price for gas? Like, how far are you willing to go? And what are you doing to survive this? Cuz I need tips or strategies or something, cuz this is insane.
Why is gas so expensive? $4.85 a gallon, y'all. I just filled my tank up. I have a a Chevy Tahoe.
$105, you guys. Normally, it would take $60 to fill my tank up. I'm at a loss right now. This is absolutely ridiculous.
For a girly who has always spent $40 to fill her tank and is now spending $65 to fill her tank, I don't even I'm speechless that I just spent $65 on a tank of gas. I don't That's insane. That's insane.
That's crazy. Why did I do that? I needed to.
I don't know how the average people are surviving. I just spent $102 to fill my tank.
How are families doing this? Because I make good money. My husband makes good money.
We are financially stable, I would say.
We are.
And if I'm putting $100 a week, let's just say, in gas, I don't even know. I don't know. This is such a sad sad state of affairs that we're in. And Oh, my spray tan is so messed up.
These are my priorities: gas and fixing that my spray tan today.
And now I have to go to do another work event, which I have to drive to, which is fine. Like my company reimburses me for gas, but it's included in our check. So, it's not really like it's not What's the word?
It's like girl math. It's like doesn't count unless it's like here, here's money for gas only, a separate check.
And don't tell me to get an electric car.
I don't want to deal with all that charging.
Stupid.
You know what I find ironic?
A lot of people claimed to have voted for Donald Trump because of the economy.
Right? Whether you believe that or not, a lot of people said they want lower grocery prices and lower gas prices.
Right? And now gas prices might be the thing that I don't want to say takes down the Trump administration, but will greatly impact his second term. And then playing in our face acting like this isn't happening. Like I think I saw a video um of this guy talking about how the White House is essentially playing in our face saying that this is the lowest gas has been uh like in history or something like that. Like they posted a graphic. The White House social team posted this. And they're like, "Do y'all think we're dumb?"
Gas most places is over $4, approaching $5.
There was a girl I saw the other day talking about how her Chevy Malibu took $70 to fill up.
70.
Mind you, I drive a Chevy Malibu. The day my Chevy Malibu goes over, honestly, 50 and I'm this close, I'm going to have to call my boss. We're going to have to work from home. We're going to have to do hybrid.
$50 and then the gas is diluted. So, it goes faster.
I've never had to put this much gas in in car.
I just find it ironic that that gas prices might be the thing that essentially ends the Trump administration when people just wanted cheaper groceries and gas prices.
So, I'm here at the gas station getting ready to pump gas and I look at the digital screen before I put my card in.
Baby, what do you drive?
Baby, what do you drive?
What do you drive? Like, baby, I'm sick looking at this because it used to cost me $30 to fill my car. Like, when are you going to stop?
When are you going to stop?
Oh, wait. This is real life.
Oh, wait, wait, wait. Hold on, hold on.
Oh, no. Oh, no.
Oh.
What?
The gas prices are definitely crazy.
Now, I literally have to tell my dad.
Like, that doesn't make any sense. Why?
$50 to fill up my car? My car? My car?
My car? My car is supposed to be like gas-friendly.
It usually only takes $35.
Not 50 [ __ ] like Dolores, what in the [ __ ] 50 bucks for gas? And I feel like it runs out so quick, like I think I'm just going to have to get a bike.
And I will be skinny this summer cuz I'm going to have to just bike and walk everywhere. This don't make no sense.
It's Maybe the pump was broken. I should have went inside.
Oh my god, I just can't. There's no way.
Guys, I just I just pulled up to the Kroger to get a couple of things out of the store and get gas.
$3.69 per gallon. Y'all, that's almost $4 a gallon. I've never in my 15 years of driving have ever seen this in my life. And I'm I'm uh I live in Tennessee.
Like this is the South, you know, technically.
Why is our gas almost $4 a gallon? Like that's like that's like New York LA pricing, I feel like, or like somewhere else. It's about time I get me a helmet and a little bike lock because I'm going to be riding my electric scooter everywhere. You will not see me in this car. I'm so $3.69, you guys.
And it'll be like what, 365 with my discount from Kroger? No.
Um So, gas is almost five bucks in Colorado. I found out in LA it's 10 bucks per gallon.
We just got supposedly got our last shipment of oil from the Middle East.
And so, I don't know. I perceive this getting way worse, but how crazy is that, you know, like I don't understand. What happened to gas prices?
Two weeks ago, gas was $2. And today, gas is $4. You guys did gasoline go to college and come back with a master's degree in pricing? Oh my god.
I came to the I CAME TO GET GAS and the pump is looking at me like a bank loan officer.
Asking questions like, "Say, are you ready for THIS FINANCIAL DECISIONS?"
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? LOOK AT GAS PRICES.
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? HOW ARE WE GOING TO SURVIVE?
DRIVING IN AMERICA IS NOW LUXURY. OH MY GOD. HOW ARE WE GOING TO SURVIVE HERE?
HOW? [screaming] HOW? $4? OH MY GOD.
OH MY GOD.
$4 GAS?
$4? I CAN'T.
>> [screaming] >> FOR ALL OF YOU GUYS WHO WORRIED ABOUT GAS prices in California, I'm at Costco.
It's 5:35 now.
Show you guys how much it is at the end.
I have to fill it up, so we're going to see. All right, I drive a Honda Accord, so it's only 13 and 1/2 gallons. $72.15.
This is getting out of control. I just went and put $150 in my hate squeeze.
And it barely gave me a quarter tank of diesel.
Can't farm much longer like this.
I made a vlog the other day and I was like, "Oh, gas is like 449 or 429 or something." I just paid 499.
In the Midwest, that's a lot. It's never I don't think it's ever been this much ever before. This is insane. I'm going to get roller blades. I'm just going to roller blade everywhere. Good day. We need to talk about something that is hitting people hard right now. Gas prices are sky rocketing and I don't think we are talking enough about how serious this is because this is not just about fuel. It is about survival. It's about how people move, how they work, how they live every single day. Let's be real. When fuel price go up, everything goes up. Transport becomes expensive, food price increases, businesses starts to struggle and suddenly your money doesn't stretch the way it used. I have been seeing a lot of people online saying things like, "I can't even afford to fill my trunk anymore. I have had to cut down on a trip. Going to work is now costing me too much." And that's scary because imagine having a job but just getting there is becoming unaffordable.
And that's not just car owners. Even if you don't drive, you are still affected.
Public transport fares go up, dairy price go up, groceries becomes more expensive. So, nobody can escape this.
Now, let's talk about the emotional side of this because yes, this is financial, but it's also mental. People are stressed, people are tired, people are constantly calculating. Can I afford this trip? Should I stay home? Do I need to go out? And that kind of pressure adds What makes it worse is that income are not increasing at the same rate.
Prices are going up, but size are staying the same. So, people feel stuck like no matter how hard they they're falling behind. And this is where frustration starts building because it feels unfair. You are working, you're trying, but life just keeps getting more expensive. Now, let's ask the real question. Why is this happening? Fuel prices are affected by so many things. Global supply issues, economic instability, currency exchange, but for the average person, all that doesn't matter. What matters is this, can I afford to live? And right now, for many people, the answer is becoming no.
I have seen people starting changing their lifestyle completely. Some are working long distances, cutting unnecessary trips, even turning down opportunity because transport is too expensive. Think about that.
Opportunities being missed not because people don't want them, but because they can't afford to go there. And this is how bigger problems start because when movement becomes limited, growth becomes limited, too. But I also want us to talk about something important, adaptation.
Because even though things are tough, people are finding ways to copy. Some are starting online work, some are learning digital skills, some are building side hustles from home. And honestly, this is becoming less of an option. We are slowly moving into a world where depending on just one source of income is risky because situations like this can change everything overnight. Now, I'm not saying this to scare you, I'm saying this to wake you up. If there is one thing you should take from this video is this, start thinking about how to protect yourself financially. Even in small ways, save where you can, learn a skill, find ways to earn money beyond just one source of income because the truth is prices may not go back down anytime soon. And you're waiting for things to go back to normal might keep you stuck. Also, let's not lose our humanity in all this. If someone is struggling, help where you can. If someone can't afford something, don't judge them because honestly, a lot of people are one situation away from being in the same place. And to anyone watching this who feels overwhelmed, I see you. This is not easy, but you are doing your best and that matters. We are living in a time where everything feels uncertain, but one thing we can control is how we respond. So basically, I want to hear from you. How are gas prices affecting you right now? Have you had to change your lifestyle because of it?
Let's talk about it in the comment section. Don't forget to like and subscribe and share this video with someone who needs to hear this.
