The Quran acknowledges that Allah originally revealed scripture to Moses and Jesus but also contains verses stating that people from previous communities distorted revelation, concealed truth, and falsely attributed words to Allah; this position is supported by both Quranic verses (2:79, 3:78) and biblical references (Jeremiah 8:8), while Christian scholarship itself admits textual variants exist in the New Testament (Mark 16:9-20, John 7:53-8:11, 1 John 5:7), demonstrating that textual corruption is a recognized scholarly issue across religious traditions.

Refuting @WesHuffAdded:
In chapter 29, verse 46 of the Quran, the text commands Muslims to engage with Christians and Jews, the people of the books, gracefully saying, "We believe in what has been revealed to you and what has been revealed to us." Correct.
Muslims believe Allah originally revealed scripture to Moses and Jesus.
But you skipped the many verses where the Quran also says people distorted revelation, concealed truth, and falsely attributed words to Allah.
Quran 2:79 So woe to those who write the book with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah."
Quran 3:78 They twist their tongues with the scripture.
Because the Quran itself accuses some from previous communities of corruption and distortion.
You are acting as if Muslims invented this idea later. The Quran already addressed it, and even the Bible itself mentions corruption.
Jeremiah 8:8 The lying pen of the scribes has corrupted it.
Jews, calling the Torah and the Gospel a message that was sent down by God. Yes, Muslims completely agree. The Tawrat was revealed to Musa, the Injil was revealed to Isa.
But here is the problem with your argument. You automatically assume the modern Bible equals the exact original Injil.
The Quran never says Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John a perfectly preserved revelation from Allah.
That is your assumption, not the Quran's statement. All right. If Muhammad has doubts, the Quran says that he should go and ask those who have been reading the scriptures revealed before him. This is Sura Yunus 10:94.
First, the prophet, peace be upon him, never doubted.
Second, the verse is rhetorical reassurance.
Third, if this verse means Christians are fully reliable in theology, then why does the same Quran criticize them for distortion, hiding truth, and exaggerating Jesus?
You cannot quote one verse while ignoring the others. Only times the Quran has talked about previously revealed scriptures is when it's talking about the Torah and the gospel. No, you know what manuscripts existed in Muhammad's day. That is not the same thing as proving perfect preservation from the time of Moses and Jesus.
Even Christian scholars admit textual variants exist, verses were added later, and manuscripts differ.
Examples include Mark 16:9 to 20, John 7:53 to 8:11, 1 John 5:7.
Many modern Bibles openly admit these passages were absent in earlier manuscripts.
So, Muslims are not inventing textual issues. Christian scholarship already acknowledges them.
