She's not alone, and she knows it. Every adult on that street is quietly watching out for her. The culture taught her one thing early. The whole village has your back.

[00:00:24]So, she doesn't feel fear walking out the door. She feels trusted. And a child who feels trusted at four walks through the world differently than one who feels watched. That's not bravery.
