The suspects were believed to be two women inside the store and another woman waiting in a car outside with stolen merchandise, including items taken from another store earlier. Here's what happened next.

Despite everything they had caused, neither showed any remorse or embarrassment. Instead, they remained calm, even casually drinking water.

On the 26th of May 2024, officers responded to a report from Walmart about a woman attempting to push a shopping cart full of merchandise through the garden center exit without paying before being stopped by an employee. When officers approached her, she immediately escalated the situation.

Although she continued to deny committing theft, her claims were difficult for the officers [music] to believe, especially after the employees checked the system and found that she had a previous history involving similar behavior. [00:51:27]If you remember correctly, there was a group of people with me and the older lady that was in that was in here was able to prove that it was the um three um younger adults with me back then. We had to go to court and if I believe I remember correctly, he never showed up.

[00:51:57]Instead, when the officers brought up her previous resistance and the way she had handled the situation, she once again tried to portray herself as the victim.

Refusing to accept responsibility, creating excuses, and resisting the process can make the situation worse and add further consequences beyond the original offense.
