I booked the wrong hotel & my Super Room wasn’t super!

[00:00:24]Now, I booked a one-night stay in a Travelodge in Cambridge, down the Newmarket Road.

[00:00:35]And I booked a room for two people, and it was or it is a super room.

[00:00:44]And I also booked for early check-in, which is 12:00 p.m.

[00:00:51]Now, this is what I got.

[00:01:47]Oh dear.

[00:01:49]I don't normally do reviews like this, but would you pay the extra for what they They it super room? I think it looks more like a hospital.

[00:02:04]Personally, I don't think it's very welcoming.

[00:02:07]But, I'm going to show you around anyway.

[00:02:10]So, that you see what you can actually get in some of Travelodge's super rooms.

[00:03:28]Now, we do have a coffee machine, which they do advertise in the super rooms.

[00:03:38]A Lavazza coffee machine.

[00:03:42]And we have the coffee pods, but no other coffee to make just your normal bog-standard coffee with the kettle and water.

[00:03:54]And they have tea, two tea bags, four milks, which isn't really enough, is it?

[00:04:02]And now, check out this TV.

[00:04:11]Super, isn't it?

[00:04:13]Super small, that's what I'd say.

[00:04:19]Cuz you would have thought they'd put a bigger TV in a room like this.

[00:04:26]Hardly super, is it?

[00:04:41]I mean, it's a shame there's a building in the way.

[00:05:28]There's an adequate mirror.

[00:05:30]It isn't floor-to-ceiling, but you can see your whole self in it, which is good.

[00:05:38]There's not really a vanity area to put your makeup on, so you or your hair bits that you can do your hair.
