Hey guys, I'm just pulling up to go talk to my team about the single most important thing you, me, and they can do for everyone in their community. It's called urgency. Have urgency in your life. Have urgency in your business.
Make sure the targets are right. Make sure you can achieve them. Lay them out for your team. You're going to find they don't know what their targets are and there's no urgency. Let me show you what I'm talking about so that when somebody calls here or you have a friend or family member, you can be like, "You should be at this event this weekend."
This includes every one of your families right here, your whole community, your neighborhood. They're going to blame it on the government. By the way, it's probably the government. They could blame it on the white man. It's probably is the white man. We've been we've been doing bad [ย __ย ] to people for years, okay? The Indians are going to blame it on the freaking pilgrims that came here.
Everybody's got somebody to blame for something. Okay? the the the the people that had horses are going to complain going to blame it on Henry Ford and the cavemen are going to blame it on the internet.
The internet's going to blame it on AI.
Guess what? You still got a problem.
Okay? Because comfortable people basically do this. They have a graph that looks like this. This is their graph in life. Their family graph is like this. Their health graph is like this. Everything's just going along fine. everything until you hit a bump.
Okay, for me, my bump was when I was 10 years old. My bump was everything was going fine. Middle class family doing good. Everybody's happy. We're all running around digging on Easter. Woo!
Easter eggs. Oh, and boom. Dad dies.
Okay. Well, Easter ain't fun anymore.
Santa Claus doesn't come. Mom's got to sell the house. It's a show. Okay. Why?
Because my family was comfortable.
This is your family. How many of you can relate relate to this story?
Everything's going fine, just fine. Some of you have never had any losses in life. I got a bunch of friends never lost anything in their whole life, man.
Everything's going good. And I watch these people. I'm like, "Bro, you in for aing surprise." Okay. Wait till grandma dies, mom dies, and it comes it comes in waves.
I lost my brother uh when I was 20, lost my dad when I was 10, and between 10 and 20, just lost 10 years. just wiped out 10 years of my life that would later be become another 20 years that I lost because I had these losses that I never got rid of.
So everything's cool until it's not cool. You guys agree with that?
>> You're going to have losses, folks.
Okay? You're going to have them. You're going to have periods of time where every you're going to have little periods like this. Oh my god, life's so good. And then guess what? Bang. Then you're going to have a loss. And you're not you're not going to know how to get up. This is what the community you live in. your community that you live in.
Your friends are doing this right now.
They think they deserve a weekend. They even say it, man. F. What do they say about Fridays? Friday. Uh, >> oh, thank God.
>> Oh, thank God it's Friday.
Thank God it's Friday. You know, oh my god, I can't believe the week's taking forever to get through, you know. Okay.
Yeah. It's because you're not playing the game, man. You got to play the game.
You got to get the graph to go up. So, this weekend, you guys have an opportunity to get this graph to go up.

Well, for me, look, I'm I'm I'm always looking for ways to win. Little little short cycles. Okay. And for me to win, that's a Friday D.
>> Okay. For me to win, dude, I need to have some little thing in front of me that I can control.
So, right now, and for me to control something means I need urgency on something to control it. Like if if I needed something right now, I I need to be home by 5:30 tonight because I have this this uh this meeting, right? I got to be there. So, I GOT TO GO FAST with you guys and then get over there so I can have this little victory. Oh, I did it. I got there on time. Today is Tuesday and it's 400 PM or whatever time it is right now. Tuesday. Tuesday.
Whatever.
Okay. So, I got Tuesday, but I What do I have to look forward to? Oh, I got this big conference going on uh uh Friday and you you and me could get a whole bunch of people to come there on Friday.
And the reason why you want to focus on people coming there is because we have what's called urgency.
Okay? And urgency is a product.
Okay? And without the product of urgency, it is very difficult to get anybody to be uncomfortable because comfortable people have no urgency.
You guys understand that? They got a full refrigerator. Everything's cool, man. Everything's fine until it's not.
Okay? Everything's taken for granted of for until it's not. So, here's what you guys have. We have a gift to give people.
The best thing you could do for the entire organization is to figure out somebody on our list. We can't call everybody, guys. I cannot possibly I don't have enough people to call the people that need help. 32 million small businesses in America, okay? And I'm willing to give all of them a free seat to my conference. They they fly. I buy.
They just come. I just want you to come and watch. The first day is going to be on what? What's the first topic? The first day.
>> No targets.
targets. We're gonna fix all their targets. Okay? If you don't fix your target and you're you guys need a target, you guys that right now are bored. You don't know where you fit in the company. You're not sure what you're going to do. You don't even know if you belong here. It's because you don't have a damn target. You're just you're just kind of running along. I'm working over at Cardone's place. You don't even know what you're doing. You're not excited about it. You don't have a target, man.
I can't give you a target. You got to have a target for you. Right? The the last time I worked for a guy, his name was Bobby Brown. And Bobby came to me one day and said, "Grant, your target for this month is 15." And I thought to myself, I said, "I will never let a human being give me a target ever."
Okay? Because the moment they give me a target, they're in control. I'm in jail.
I thought, "You ain't giving me a target, dude." He gave me 50. And I said, "I'll do that every four days."
He's like, "That's impossible. I did it in four days." Okay. And since that time, I took control of my life. I'm like, "I'm in control of my targets. You guys have to have a target." So, you could have a target right here to get you an urgency, right? If I said, "Hey, you got to do 40. You got to do you got to do f three push-ups right now. Who could do them?"
>> Yeah.
>> Could you do it?
>> Yes.
>> Let's see them right now. Come on. Let me see three. Give me three.
>> Give me three. Okay. I'll bet you a hundred bucks she ain't got three in her. I don't think she's got three. Who?
Raise your hand if she You think she does not have three in her?
>> Okay. Who thinks she's got three? Who's pulling for her? Okay. Hey, let's see what you got here. [applause] I've never done this before.
>> Good. Good. Let's go. Let's go. Whoa.
WHOA. [screaming] HEY.
[cheering] OKAY. We're going to count that. We're going to count that. You got $100. Take care of me. I I'll take you. Dude, what if her life depended on four push-ups >> or five?
>> Dude, is six. We know she's done. She can't get six.
See, that's what you end up with, guys.
You end up being in a position in life where you not you could be put in a in a situation where you can't deliver.
So, I don't want that to happen to you guys. I don't know how long you guys are going to work here. I've been here 38 years. Okay? I'm going probably be here another I told Jared the other day, I said, "You know what? Probably got another 10 or 15 years, dude. Then you can take the show over. But until then, for the next 10 or 15, we doing this [ย __ย ] my way with urgency all the time." Okay? We're going to have urgency all the time to do one thing, help people. And we got 32 million small businesses out there and the government cannot save these people.
Barack can't come back and save them.
Trump definitely won't save him. He's got his hands full in Iran right now.
Okay. The next group of people, the Bushes didn't help your family. The Clintons didn't help your family. Barack Haka didn't No. Ain't no president or government going to fix your family.
Everybody agree?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. Okay. And whoever's got the most urgency and is not comfortable, if you had a fire right now, you guys would do what? You'd figure out how to solve the fire. If you had a flat tire, you'd figure out how to resolve the flat tire.
You wouldn't have excuses if you had enough urgency. If you had someplace to go that was big enough to change your life, you'd be like, "No excuses, no [ย __ย ] I'm just going to get there."
So, that's what I'm asking you guys to do between now and Friday.
There's going to be a bunch of preparation. They're going to tell you where to go. You got to go here, and you got to go there, and you got to do this, and you got to be ready for that. You got to be here in the morning and you got to be over here. They're going to tell you all this [ย __ย ] The most important thing that you can do between now and Friday is get people to show up at that conference. Okay? To be responsible for somebody else to stop them, intervene on their life and say, "Dude, stop what you're doing. You're a dentist, a chiropractor, a HVAC person, you're a cosmetologist, whoever you are.
My boss will give you a free seat."
Okay? He will give a free seat. We'll probably spend a million dollars on this event. They can come for free. Is that a good deal?
>> They can come. They don't have to buy anything. They don't have to do anything. Okay. Just come with an open mind. Then we're going to tell them how to how to grow and scale their business.
So they don't have to be dependent upon the government.
And the fewer people that are dependent on the government, the better this country will be. Because then you got a bunch of people. Imagine if everybody, all 32 million of those people, imagine if they were all making a lot of money.
Guess what? The schools get better. The roads get better. The churches get better. Everybody's got it's it's just better, man. When you have more money, you have less stress. People want to know how it looks so good. How many of you look at me? You're like, "Damn, why [clears throat] you look so good, bro?"
Right. It looks so good. [ย __ย ] Cuz I'm successful.
Makes you look good, dude. I have success biscuits for breakfast.
