[00:00:54]Receiving, yeah. And so if if I'm an active verb, that means I'm the one that's doing something. So, like Haklo le, I I am actively listening.

[00:01:08]But, of course you don't need the actively in there, but so I am listening. So, I'm the one that's doing it, right?

[00:01:16]You're the one that's doing it, right?

[00:01:18]And then Halito.

[00:02:05]So those are the active pronouns, the ones that are doing it. I you we were the ones doing it.

[00:02:12]And so those are active pronouns.

[00:02:15]But recipient pronouns are the ones being done to.

[00:02:20]So if I'm singing to somebody, like I'm singing to you I would I would say I am singing to you.

[00:02:31]We are singing to them.

[00:02:34]And so in that case you, like when I say I am singing to you you is the recipient pronoun.

[00:02:42]Cuz they're receiving that action.

[00:02:45]And then when you are singing to me now I am the recipient pronoun.

[00:02:51]Uh so me me.

[00:02:53]And then we are singing to them.

[00:02:59]Now them is the recipient pronoun.

[00:03:02]So that's what we're going to be kind of going over a little bit. And so I'll put up the words.

We're looking at the words like ish, li, i, l, or the unmarked third person.

[00:05:37]And then, italowa, we are singing. And so, that means I'm doing it, you're doing it, and we are doing it. And then, if we want to say a no fella, we can say a no no fella. We are speaking.

[00:05:55]And now we're going to get into recipient pronouns.

[00:05:59]Which when we say to sing Now you can say I am singing to you.

[00:06:12]I'm just going to leave out the other stuff, but we're all English speakers so you know what I'm saying.

[00:06:27]And then uh we are singing to them.

[00:06:41]So like I said a while ago when we say to lower I'm singing is to lower you are singing and then eat a lower we are singing. So it's always going to be like this.

[00:07:10]Or to us.

[00:07:13]It could all be all of those. And so um just for ease of uh understanding I guess.

[00:13:12]So, there's two sides of every coin and it seems like in Choctaw. And so for one side, of course, I'm going to do it in blue here.

[00:13:40]Then you got uh Chim or Chi.

[00:13:50]And then you got uh uh Im or Pi.

[00:14:16]Usually we don't have a pronoun, an active pronoun for it, but we do have a recipient pronoun for it.

[00:15:40]Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Because Tagalog loves to do vowel-consonant rules. And so, for uh for M, you would always do it with uh a vowel.

[00:15:58]And then with E, you're always going to do it with a consonant.

[00:16:03]The same thing with um and ah, you would do um with a vowel, and you do it ah with a consonant.

[00:16:13]Jim with the vowel, gin with a consonant. So, you notice all these nasals here are all with a consonant, but all these M forms, I always say M forms cuz they all have M's in it.

[00:18:06]So they always say everything is reversed in from English to Choctaw and a lot of that's true. So you notice this in this case cuz we would say I So in English, of course, we say I am speaking to you.

[00:19:22]So, that's why I say context plays a huge role in our speaking.

[00:19:27]So, E We use it because uh this word here starts with a vowel, okay?

[00:19:42]Now, we're going to look at the word talo'a.

[00:19:51]So, we have which I should lowercase that, I guess.

[00:20:11]I am singing. So, perfectly good sentence. Everything's correct. You can say this and it'll be 100% correct. I am singing. So, if I was like Talo'a le I'm I'm telling the truth. I'm singing.

[00:28:26]Except for uh you just move the recipient pronoun in the middle, so again is e manonopule is e taloa So, other than le all the rest of the pronouns and stuff are going to be like this in this structure.

[00:29:13]So, you have your recipient pronouns in your uh your uh active pronouns and you have your um verbs.
