Trading success depends on skill, strategy execution, and mindset rather than the currency used, as demonstrated by a trader who grew a 1 million Vietnamese dong account to 5 million VND through disciplined trading, risk management, and understanding that the same principles apply regardless of currency denomination.

FLIPPING A TINY ACCOUNT (1M to 5M) VNDAdded:
Most traders think that they need [music] a big account in order to start trading. So, today I done something way more amazing. I actually created a trading account using the Vietnamese dong, which is the currency of Vietnamese where I currently am. And it's funny because I used the Exness platform in order to be able to create a trading account using this currency, but it's something that was never in my mind. I actually never sat and thought about trading using this currency, but something just hit me. I was like, "Since anyways I'm staying here, and since anyways Exness allows me to be able to create this currency, how about I create it and then I trade in order to just pay for my day-to-day activities and things like that?" [music] So, I actually deposited a million Vietnamese dong and then I was able to flip it all the way up to 5 million Vietnamese dong.
And as well, I was able to just withdraw some because I had to pay for other day-to-day activities. [music] So, with this challenge, all I had to do was 5x, but truly speaking from my side, my goal was to just make enough for the day-to-day activity. Like the first day when I traded that account, all I needed for that day was close to 400,000 Vietnamese dong, but I actually made a bit more than that. And the next day as well, all I needed was like literally less than 500,000 Vietnamese dong, but I actually traded and made a bit more, way more than that. And that's when it hit me. I started thinking to myself, "How about I actually have goals of like, you know, going beyond, like, you know, trying to just scale up like 5x, 10x, but how about I actually grow my trading accounts to over 100 million Vietnamese dong? Or in fact, I started thinking more deeper and I was like, "Imagine now I can grow a trading account to 1 billion Vietnamese dong." That would be insane to witness. And truly speaking, guys, these currencies, it's not really much. Obviously, I'm saying a million, billion, and all that, and you might be thinking that maybe it's a lot, but Vietnamese dong is not really a lot. You can just do your own research on what is the difference between dollar and the Vietnamese dong and all that, but it's not much. But I now started thinking more of how to get to 100 million Vietnamese dong how to get now to over a billion Vietnamese dong. And now my mind started thinking damn imagine every month me being able to just make 250 million Vietnamese dong. And obviously I'm not even speaking in terms of making it and then trying to you know handle other things outside of the this is just for within when I'm in Vietnamese. And that's when it hit me and that's when I also started falling way more deeper in love with trading as well because I started understanding that I don't have to like let's say when I'm in South Africa I can use the rents to trade with. When I'm in Vietnamese I can use the Vietnamese dong. When I'm in whatever country I am I can use the currency and lately Exness allows me to do that. So as soon as I done that I literally sat down and I looked at all the countries that I'm going to be going to all that I need and I just started now stacking more capital in them because I was like I need to make money in these countries so when I'm there I'm able to spend their own money that I made using their currency. So my mind was just all over the place with it. So I'm just quickly going to show you right here the trade. I obviously threw in 1.1 million Vietnamese dong and the first trade I was just testing seeing which lot size I should use and things like that. So the very first trade that I took here was almost a test trade so obviously I made like maybe 25,000. But from there I took a sell on gold.
Eventually the sell didn't go well and then I lost some money. I lost quite a bit here. In total I forgot but it was like a big number. And then [music] eventually I took another sell once more and then I made it to 600k. So what does that mean advantages that I brought back some of the losses. So let's say for instance maybe I lost 900k and then I I made like 600k. So I brought back some losses but I'm still in the negative. So what I done is that I was like nah let me withdraw 300k because I actually went to go have dinner so I was eating food. So I was like you know what let me just withdraw this 300k so that I can pay for the bill and yeah it's safe like that. And then yeah that's what I done we'll withdraw it. And then fortunately now that I had food for the day, I was done for the day, Um um I was able to look at more opportunities. So, I obviously scaled and I took more opportunities. And you can simply see we went more harder. And what does obviously, guys, you can see price started like, you know, I caught multiple trades here. And once I caught multiple trades, price started shooting my my direction. I sold GR, made profits. I bought once again, made profits. And then, funny thing, when I was done, I now withdrew 1.5 million in Vietnamese dong. And from there, I had to obviously 1.5 to be speaking, maybe it can spend me 5 days or something similar to that. But, you know, food, you know, um I cut my hair, done things like that. And yeah, I was able to trade once more and then now I was able to crack it. So, what I'm going to do now is I actually want to go on the XNESS platform so you're able to see this. So, one thing that I like about this is that on the XNESS platform, you can currently see right now this is my XNESS um account, Vietnamese dong. So, I had other accounts that I created in different currencies and things like that. So, you can as well play around with it. You can see whatever currency that you'd like to trade with wherever you are. And it'll work out for you. So, here was just me playing around with the Vietnamese dong. And yes, man, you can see like I showed you when we were in MetaTrader 5, this is the exact same thing. You can see how the trade started 25,000 right here. I like how XNESS shows it. It's much more, you know, it looks proper, you know, I don't know, but it looks just much more proper. So, you can see all the trades that I took, negative, negative, negative, negative, and then positive, positive, then negative, I mean, positive positive positive. Positive, yeah, I think I made 3.2 million with these trades here. And then, I made another 800,000, [music] which was yesterday. Um I made 800K. So, in [snorts] total, um we withdrew like 1.8 million and I think in profits in total we made like close to 5 million, somewhere around there. Not close to like 4 million, somewhere around those numbers. You can just play around with it. So, I had to obviously consider specific stuff. Like, obviously I I the discipline to [music] execute. I needed to consider things like risk management, the strategy that I'm using. I needed to still come with the same skill set, the same mindset, the same way whether I'm trading with a dollar account or I'm trading with It doesn't matter how great or weak a currency is.
The skill is just the skill that you need to have. So, obviously I just needed to look at how I apply my skill in this. And truly speaking, it wasn't easy, especially now when you're looking at like, you know, you've got a million that is floating and, you know, obviously the money is saying it's a million, but you know it's not really that much. And obviously you don't want to as well risk cuz there's other opportunities that I saw was like, if I could and add onto it, you know, I'm more likely to grow this account massively like 10x, 20x, 50x. But I as well just wanted to take it easy because as soon as like, you know, I started going volatile, my mind was all over the place and I started thinking on how I can grow it to a way more bigger account. But initially I was like, let me just take what I put in cuz already I put 1.1. So, let me just at least withdraw.
So, so far I can safely say that I have withdrew whatever that I put in plus as well I've withdrew more like profits, which means that whatever money that I have now is more on like, you know, profits that I made from the markets, which means even if I try to, you know, I'm grow this to like 13 million or 50 million or 100 million, it's not really a major problem because I already took the money that I deposited plus as well I already have profits that I withdrew from this trading account. So, my plan in terms of execution has been very simple. It's more on just focusing on high quality setups. And on top of that just trying to be in the markets for less than 30 minutes. So, what I've done is that obviously during the New York session I'm I'm more active on the New York session. I just had to let the market show me what exactly is it trying to do. So, obviously I'll have I'll map up my zones, supply demand, you know, I'll have my, you know, areas of significance being able to be I'm showing and all those things. And then I now had to decide, okay, this thing is going to drop till here. From here, maybe I'm looking to buy or it's going to buy from here and all that." And then now I had to also drop down to a smaller time frame as low as as well the 1-minute time frame just so I can start like, you know, micro like looking at what's that initial cuz I don't want a trade to I don't want to hold in negatives, right? So, I wanted as soon as I execute a trade, it goes straight into my direction. So, that's what we done. We spotted some trades and instead of catching it cuz normally when I trade, I would have to like if I'm buying here at 14 even if price is like somewhere and it has to drop to get there, I already have limits there. So, what I done right now is I done it differently. I went when it got there, instead of just having those initial limits, what I done is as soon as it got there, I waited for a 1-minute like bullish or whatever to just confirm with me. And as soon as I got that, I'll just start buying because I didn't want it to activate me, go slightly below, and take me out because I enter with a big load size, and then when it goes in my direction, I've lost out on that movement. So, I it's just something that I had to learn, obviously, but it was something that was, you know, I'm worth learning. The one thing that I did not do is I didn't rush to catch like big moves. Truthfully speaking, I never even caught massive big moves. All the moves I caught were like, >> [music] >> I don't know, like 50 pips, 30 pips, you know, 20 pips here cuz it would literally be as soon as price gets to a significant area. [music] Once it start moving that direction, all I do is I add positions like I put position position position, and then the more it shoots down, I add like, let's say, two more. And then when it starts going bit more further down, it's like as soon as it starts dropping massively, instead of saying, "Oh, let me hold it for it to get to this area." All I'll do is, "Oh, okay, I'm seeing that it's floating this much. Let me exit." And then I'll exit. And then for me, that was more than enough cuz truthfully speaking, like I did say, I wanted to be able to make enough money for the day-to-day activity. But already like, you know, if I was eating dinner and it's only 200,000, but now I'm already floating 2.2 million, that's way too much. So, obviously, I have to be grateful and close it. So the honest truth is that most traders they will lose their accounts especially when it's small like this cuz if you look at it this account I started it small and it's still small right now as I speak. And obviously, you know, I will play around with it. I will just like, you know, try to grow it and all those things even if like, you know, I happen to lose a bit more. I wouldn't mind refunding in order to just, you know, try to grow it and things like that. I enjoy like, you know, seeing myself coming up with it and growing it. But the one thing that I've seen is most people they try to double or triple their account with only one specific trade. And that's not how it should be. You're trying to revenge trade. You're trying to just, you know, get as much as the market from the markets with find out that it's even a wrong trade. So what you need to rather be doing is stack up onto winners instead of trying to make every trade be the one that changes things for you. Let every trade stack up onto, you know, that monumental success that you're eventually coming up for. Not a one trade. Right now I can't just say, "Oh, I'm going to take one trade and it's going to flip me all the way up to a 100 million." Yes, that's possible. I can sit down and you know, try to do that, but it's going to take more of like, you know, obviously my brain energy and as well it's going to take more of, you know, maybe find out that I'll have to blow the accounts like a couple of times, you know, in order for me to hit this. So I'm just going to be 100% realistic with you that it's not really, you know, um as easy as like right now this is like, you know, my first time I didn't blow this account at all. But I just want you to be able to know that there is a risk to it. It's not as easy as it is and it's it's it's it's also comes back down to the skill. Once you've got the skill, like right now I knew I can see when something's going against me so that I know how to quit or choose those losses a bit more quicker.
The one thing that I was able to realize as well is it's not even about the currency that you use. It's not about the fact that you're trading with the dollar or Vietnamese dong or rand or whatever the case is because all that matters is straight strategy execution and as well you being able to have the right mindset in order for you to win the markets because truly speaking even if someone out there tries to trade with the dollar as long as you are you don't have the right you know plan trading and all those things you are going to eventually lose whatever that you would have put in even if you come and deposit like you know Vietnamese dong. Obviously for me it made sense for me to play around with the Vietnamese dong because anyway currently I am here so it made sense for me to play around with it. It became much more easier for me to as well be able to work around the numbers because sometimes when I have to pay things and I have to convert in my head and all that it's it's long but now because of the methods that I've done I know most definitely that I don't have to convert anything because I made the money in Vietnamese so I'm going to pay using that exact same money that I made in so it's much more easier for me but whatever currency that you choose it doesn't really matter. All that matters is the execution and the skill behind it and most importantly you need a broker that's going to allow you to be able to practice your skills on it like with me right now while I was playing looking at the currencies that Exness has I've realized that they have way more currencies that I thought of and it was funny because I never really paid [music] too much attention to it back then cuz you know I'd always have a mindset of now I'm only trading you know USD because obviously it's more valuable or I'm only like you know I'm looking at trading with the rand because it makes sense I'm I'm in South Africa but right now when I looked at all the currencies that they have and even with their methods and everything like withdrawals things like that [music] I realized that you know I don't have to limit my mind to one specific thing. I can [music] trade with any currency in every country that I go to I can literally be able to make money in that specific currency and someone would be like why would you do that cuz it's less money but I feel like it's also much more greater. I mean I'm able to diverse my portfolio which means that I have other accounts that I can trade with my normal decent let's say US dollars or things like that and as well I have accounts that I can trade that specific currency. So, I can also feel like, you know, I'm I'm benefiting [snorts] somehow using that currency.
So, it's just something that you know, I had to learn, I had to see, but I also got excited when I realized that Exness has all these options. If you want to create a trading account and start your own personal trading journey, I'll leave the link of the broker that I've used in the description box so that you can register with them. But, one thing that you need to be on the lookout for is obviously trading [music] is a risky.
Which means that you need to be able to trade with money that you are able to lose, that you can afford to lose. And most importantly, you shouldn't come in with a mindset of I am going to take this much to this much or use your last money in order to try to get as much as possible because that's when things are not going to work out for you. Always trade with patience and at the same time trade applying the right tools, strategies, the right risk management strategies, and everything that's needed in order for you to become a successful trader. But, the link to the broker that I've used is below. [music] You can check them out, you can register with them, and have a safe trading experience.
