She recognized that my freedom is not divorced from your freedom. Rather, my freedom and your freedom and everyone's freedom is entirely conditioned upon the freedom of others. True freedom is relational.

We should all feel existential dread as we watch our society slip deeper and deeper into bad faith reasoning and accepting good enough, that our ambitions and freedom should be sacrificed on the altar of good enough, should be sacrificed on the altar of easy conveniences, of easy search bars, of easy essay writing, of easy art.
