A new Fed Chairman and new statutes in D.C.

[00:00:01]Okay, we're stuck in a tunnel. The vice president's coming to work. I blocked off East Street up ahead. Hey guys, good morning from the West Wing of the White House where we are gathering our things for a preset. The Federal Reserve chairman is going to be sworn in today.

[00:00:19]Oh, what time about 11:00? We have to preset at 9 so they can do the security sweep. Got our ladder over there. After that, we're going to take a look at the construction for the UFC and we got a motorcade leaving and uh who knows what else we'll do. First, let's get in here and see if there's any uh donuts in the machine, the vending machine.

[00:00:41]>> Okay, guys. It's about uh it's 10:00. We got another hour before this event kicks off. We got an assault call down the street here, 17th and New York Avenue.

[00:00:49]We're going to run over and see what we can see. Don't see a thing at the moment. Okay, police and fire went for an assault here at 17th in New York, but there isn't anything here. The blob is here, but that's about it. The blob is the national security apparatus. The Pentagon, CIA, State Department, whatever. That's all their SUVs over there, and they just park in a mass.

But all of the uh the things that we've done, numbers that have tripled and quadrupled uh and we do need we need a a really steady handed probably maybe in many ways the most. I don't know. I have two great justices of the Supreme Court. So I have to say I don't know which is more important being a justice of the Supreme Court or your job. I'm not sure about that. I'm not against all enemies foreign and domestic. that I will bear true faith and allegiance.

[00:06:30]We got to go check it out in Freedom Plaza. Some new new statues have appeared, we think.

[00:06:38]Well, in case you're wondering, they do write parking tickets in the rain. 30 bucks. Oh, well.

[00:06:42]>> Okay, guys. We got a report that Freedom Plaza at 14th Street and Pennsylvania has been filled with statues. Maybe like 12 statues uh just appeared. They had walled it off for the last couple months. We didn't really notice, but the walls came down today and voila, there's statues. And of course, people are going crazy. Let's go get pictures. And it is raining. Okay. Well, we're in Freedom Plaza, and sure enough, there are looks like patriots. Uh, colonial militia men.

[00:07:09]There's a gold one, bronze one. There's a guy with a gun, sword. Let's see if we can go walk over there, maybe. Okay, guys. We're at Freedom Plaza at 14th Street, Pennsylvania. This a big uh skater place. A lot of protests start here, but now it's been filled with statues. Well, not even filled. They've added 10, 11 statues. And I think they've got room to add some more.

[00:07:45]Let's see if we can get a I should have bought a ladder. Oh, I have a stool in my car.

[00:07:50]Okay, guys. We've walked around the park taking pictures from all angles. I think there's 10 or 11 statues now. Uh there's definitely room for more. They're also working on the fountain back here.

[00:08:02]Uh most of the DC folks are already complaining on social media.

[00:08:08]Looks like a what did it say here? Chess set. Someone said it looks like a chess set. Anyway, uh there's no names on the statues yet. Uh, I don't see anything.

[00:08:19]So, maybe they're just generic American soldiers or maybe they're going to add names later for specific individuals. I, on the other hand, I'm going to get some lunch cuz I'm cold and I'm wet and I'm hungry. Let's go find some food.
