[00:04:34]I'm not going to share housekeeping rules. Okay. What I'll tell the students who are present is that because just by virtue of choosing to study ACCA, they've joined um a global community.

[00:04:47]ACCA is the world's largest accountancy body and that is not um uh just plain talk. It is a fact. We have over 233,000 members now. In fact, we have over 250,000 members. um over 600,000 students in 181 countries. And then um we are now over 120 years old. So please don't mind these figures. Uh today was quite a crazy day. So I didn't realize that I hadn't updated these figures. So please excuse me. The ones I've told you are the the the the updated ones.

[00:05:27]So for today we're going to talk about the ACCA qualification but I am aware that um in this forum we also have the majority students being foundation in accountancy students. So we'll we'll speak about foundations first then I'll also speak about the ACCA qualification because we expect after you complete your foundations you move on to the ACCA qualification. We'll also speak about um the exams, ethics and experience. Then we'll speak about the my ACCA. For my ACCA, I'll switch now. I'll switch windows so that I do a live demo and then we'll also go over the study options and support. For study options and support, we'll do both slides as well as um live demo.

[00:06:18]So we'll start with foundations in accountancy also known as FIA because I know that is where you start with um this particular college. Before I go on I would like to commend um Mr. Mustaf.

[00:06:36]He's been um uh a real I'll use the term blessing. a blessing and um timely for our ACCA students in um in Somalia and um the students in Somalia are privileged to be in this college. It's a joy to work with him. We are working for him to become our first gold approved learning provider in Somalia. So what you are doing both Mustaf and the students you are actually making history in ACCA and uh we're we're really happy about that. So um for foundations in accountancy there are three levels.

[00:07:18]There's the ACCA diploma in financial and management accounting. That one is uh it's under RQF level two. RQF is a regulated qualifications framework which is operated by the office of qualifications and examinations regulation in the UK. ACCA being a UK qualification and that has spread out as you have seen to over 181 countries. Uh it's regulated by the UK the UK.

[00:08:23]>> Okay. You can >> let me carry on. Okay. So I was speaking about um the three the three levels of FIA. So we have the ACC diploma in financial and management accounting.

[00:08:39]Then we have ACCA diploma in financial and management accounting.

[00:08:46]Uh the level two then the ACCA diploma in accounting and business. Okay. So for the first one it's under level two at at the regulated qualifications framework.

[00:09:02]The second one it's on a higher level because you do um you delve deeper. So for the first um the first level there are two papers that is um FA1 recording financial transactions and MA1 management information. The second one is maintaining financial records and managing costs and finance. Then the third one, this third one uh is the exact replica of the ACCA qualification knowledge module. The first three papers of the main ACCA qualification. So for the main ACCA qualification, the F is removed because it's not foundation, it's not at the foundation level. So for for FIA, it will be FBT, FMA and FFA.

[00:09:50]But uh when we are speaking with people that are not ACCA, we tend to use um we tend to use the full names.

[00:09:59]Let me move that. I'm not going to stop sharing, but I will hide it. So all foundations in accountancy students are required to complete the foundations in professionalism module. When I reach that stage, I will speak about um the f the FIP foundations in professionalism module. It's also an online module and it's free of charge.

[00:10:27]So for these exams, the three level the uh three four five six seven exams all of them are on de on demand CBE exams, computer-based exams. And in Somalia we have two uh exam centers. One in um Moadishu at Sim University and the other the other one is in Gowway University of Bosaso.

[00:10:54]So these are the three exams on demand four exams. There's also the corporate and business law which is one of the applied skills level papers in the main ACCA qualification.

[00:11:07]Now on demand CBE exams can be done at any time but you have to register with a with a license center the a the CBE license center either in Mogadishu or in Gowway. you pay with local fees and um the CBE center now goes ahead and registers you and and um on the day they usually have their own their own um timet which um we ACCA does not regulate it but because we have trained them we tell them it is on demand so they need to be on demand where there is a problem um I will also show you how to raise a case via your my ACCA.

[00:11:55]Now, once you complete these exams, you are free to be to be moved to the ACCA register. But it's not free. If you want it to be free, you have to make that request before you complete your final ODCBE exams. There are some students who register as FIA. They they have the full intention of when they complete their FIA, they're going to move to ACCA, but they neglect to request to be transferred to the ACCA register. So, please don't fall into that cate category because you will end up paying a transfer fee which should not be the case. So please be vigilant with your ACCA journey.

[00:12:44]For the ACCA qualification, again there are three modules. There's the applied knowledge module which is the exact replica of the third module of your FIA.

[00:12:56]So that is why when you finish your your FIA and the applied skills um the corporate and business law paper you get four exemptions and you automatically start in the applied skills level. So I'm not going to talk about applied knowledge. I will talk about the applied skills papers. So there are in essence six papers inclusive exclusive of the of the corporate and business law paper because that one you've already done via on demand. So there's the taxation paper, there's performance management, there's audit and assurance, corporate and business law. Okay, sorry the six corporate and business law. Forget it because you've already done it under your ODCBES. then financial reporting and financial management. But in the order it is usually performance management first, then you do taxation, then you do financial reporting, um audit and assurance and financial management. In as much as ACCA says that um you can do the papers in any order, it is advisable for you to do them um first performance management, then taxation, then financial reporting, then audit and assurance, and then financial management. Why do I say that? um when you choose to do for example audit and assurance before you do financial reporting there will be a challenge a technical challenge because what you're being asked in audit and assurance you should know deeply under financial reporting so if you don't have financial reporting um knowledge if you don't have the firm foundation you will struggle and um um your tutor Mr. Mustaf will be able to explain that more in a in a more detailed way. In the interest of time, I'll just say what I've said and allow him to expound later when you finally cross over into the ACCA qualification register.

[00:15:02]Now, between the applied skills module and the last level strategic professional module, we have the in between ethics and professional skills module. Now for the ethics and professional skills module, we usually um advise our students. It's it's not mandatory. It is just an advice. It is guidance where you're requested to do the EPSM ethics and professional skills module. We shorten it to EPSM. So um just get to understand the acronyms.

[00:15:37]Acronyms is um the short form of a long uh word. So we usually advise our students to do the EPSM before they cross over into the strategic professional level to do the strategic business leader paper. Why? Because most of the competencies in fact all the competencies that are tested and at the strategic business leader uh stage are covered under EPSM. So if you do your EPSM before you do the SBL exam, you have a better chance of passing the SBL exam in the first sitting. So the EPSM it um now I didn't update the cost, but it should be around £72.

[00:16:25]Um but by the time you will be sitting, I'm sure it will have gone up because um things tend to go up costwise rather than down. very rarely do do costs go down. For the strategic professional level, it's it's uh divided into two.

[00:16:44]There's the essentials and then the options. First, you have to do the ep the essential module before you do the options. So, you do the strategic business leader paper, then the strategic business reporting, then in the options you pick two. You don't do all the four, you just pick two. So depending on what you want to specialize in, if you want to specialize in taxation, then you can do advanced taxation. If you want to be to specialize in um to be an auditor or to be an audit expert, audit and assurance, then you do advanced AA audit and assurance or with a second paper depending on your specialization. At this point you have already mastered um the profession. Um most of the times you are already employed. You're already working. So you have an idea of where you want your your strength to lie in where you want to put your your expertise energy in. So that is why you pick the two papers under the option level that will enhance your performance in the expert level that you wish to to pursue.

[00:18:04]Now for the strategic professional level exams as well as applied skills level exams, these are not done via on demand. These ones are done under session computer-based exams.

[00:18:21]Right now in Somalia, we only have one session computer-based exam center in Mogadishu at the Jamura University of Science and Technology.

[00:18:33]But we've been working very hard with our with our exams team and uh because of the entry of um Shexif forgive me if I don't pronounce it correctly but uh Shakesad the the the tuition provider who has brought us all here together and who has been doing a really great job in Somalia for the Somalia students be Julia maybe you you have muted muted yourself.

[00:20:35]>> Okay. Fine. So I was talking about session computerbased exams and I was saying that in Somalia currently we only have one session computer-based exams um and that one is in Somalia I mean in Mogadishu sorry in at the Jamura University of Science and Technology.

[00:20:57]Now I am fully aware that um the students in the far north of Somalia, those ones that are in Puntland and Somali land, they really have a problem with a commute. And um in the past we we had a problem with numbers. Mo most students would would drop off and um maintaining them was a problem. But since we got um Shakes Mr. Mustaf's college and the fact that he is working really hard to move from silver status to gold status the numbers in Somalia began to grow of ACCA students and that gave me strength for justification for not a special exam center but a regular session computer-based exam center in Goway and Hargesa now because we do not have British council uh because of the geopolitical dynamics of Somalia um I didn't allow that to stop my push for um the students to have a session computer-based exam center in Hargesa and Gowway. So finally we are in the tail end and by the time September exam booking session is is um ready. I know it's open now but we are at the tail end. We haven't finalized but we're about to finalize. We will have an exam center both in Gowway as well as Haresa.

[00:22:31]Now because of the numbers the numbers are not yet as strong as we would like them. So for starters it will be the exams will be in September as well as March and then when they see that the numbers are strong enough to sustain all four uh exam uh sessions then we will open it up for March, June, September and December.

[00:23:00]So for us for the exam center in Hargesa and Gowway to to to be sustainable and for it to be opened up for the four all four exam sessions, we are really counting on you students progressing. Do not become domant. work hard so that you pass the exam and you progress and you're able to book March, June, September and December exams otherwise now that the exams team will come back and they'll start allow me to say disturbing me and asking me choose do you want March in September or June and December and me I don't want to choose I want Somalia students to have four exam sessions just like any other student in the globe So now for uh the session computer based exam center uh exam sorry I've said it's four sessions but for for Somalia first we will have September and March and then hopefully all four sessions. So you have seen the exams it's at the applied skills level as well as strategic professional level. Now at the very end you at the very bottom you can see 7-year rule pointing up towards the strategic professional level. Now this is what it means. The minute you begin to do the strategic professional level exams the 7year rule kicks in. You are required to complete all these four papers within um 7 years of starting.

[00:24:42]For example, strategic business leader um you need to complete it by 7 years otherwise it will expire and even if you had passed you'd have to do it again. So please make sure that once you begin the strategic professional level exams don't have breaks in between you. We advise our students at especially for the strategic level professional level papers. We are aware that now you're probably at a senior level in your workplace or in your business. It's picked up and it's doing well. So it's become demanding. We are aware that you have now reached an age where you can be a family man or a family woman. So you have family obligations and those also come with their own dynamics with their own um peculiarities.

[00:25:36]So if you choose to sit two papers and you don't have adequate time to prepare or you begin to get stressed at work so you cannot study or focus um you may fail and it becomes very frustrating. It becomes expensive. So we usually advise at the SP SP level that is strategic professional level just take one exam at a time. I strongly believe that all of you because you're still at your young stage, you're still at the FIA level. By the time you get to the strategic professional level, ACCA in Somalia will have stabilized. So you will be having all the four sessions session computer-based exams just like any other student in the globe. So please take and bear that in mind.

[00:26:39]>> Okay, fine. So, let me continue. Now, in ACCA, we have what we say the three is that is exams, ethics, experience and then I've added and other qualifications. Now, we've just I've just finished talking about exams. So there's the part of ethics and experience. For ethics, um if you are doing foundation in accountancy, you will do foundations in professionalism for you to get the full diploma. And this module is online and it is completely free and you do it only once.

[00:27:18]You don't do it per level. You just do it once. For the ACCA qualification, we have the ethics and professional skills module which I talked about. It has um 10 it has 10 modules and then um um an assessment. You don't get it's it's not marked but you you you do get um uh go ahead to proceed and then you also get a certificate. Then you can it's part of the journey for you to become an ACC member. Remember when you join to become an FIA and an ACCA student, you're not just doing it to to become to finish the exams. You're working towards becoming a professional accountant, a professional um a finance professional.

[00:28:17]Okay. You're you're studying to become a um a qualified finance professional. And for you to be called a finance professional, you have to become an ACCA member, you have to become, if you're doing CPAs, this is not CPA, it's it's not a CPA platform, but it's it's an example. If you're doing EGCPAs, you must become a member of the CPA body of whichever country. Be it US, be it Kenya, be it um uh Somalia, you need to become a member of that body, the regulatory body. Now ACCA is a member body of IFAC.

[00:28:59]IFAC is the International Federation of Accountants and ACCA falls under that umbrella.

[00:29:08]IFAC demands that anyone who wishes to be called a professional accountant must demonstrate that they have work experience that for minimum 36 months that is 3 years for FIA to become a professional FIA um you you need to have experience of at least one year and that is 12 months why do they say that it's just Like I'll give an example of a doctor or a lawyer or even a pilot when when when um a doctor is practicing before they start practicing before they called a medical a professional medical doctor before they are given license to go and begin to operate they have to go through um not pupilage but they go through um um residency where they're attached to experienced doctors. And when um when when um they're going when the doctors the qualified doctors are doing their rounds, these student doctors are attached to the the qualified doctors and eventually they become they become professionals themselves. they gain experience and that is why you find when you are unwell when you go to the hospital as you are speaking you'll see the doctor is busy scribbling and um taking down the symptoms that you're explaining they'll examine you and then thereafter they may tell you go for further tests or uh this is just a minor this and that let me um administer this and that go to the go to the pharmacy and collect um this medic medication.

[00:30:56]Very rarely will you see a doctor, a one that you trust. you've gone to him and as you're explaining your problem, he's busy scrolling, maybe googling or asking um you know an assistant in the internet to to to give them um an answer or you'll not see them calling a fellow doctor and say hey I have this patient this is what they are saying and then they tell you speak to this no you you will not have confidence with that kind of a doctor in the same way. Um, professionals, pro finance professionals, they're not working for their own personal good. They're working for the public good. So, they must have the relevant experience to be able to advise, to be able to steer their organizations to making profits and not losses.

[00:31:52]For ethics, you must have high standards of ethics and professionalism so that you don't steal from your own company or you don't steal from your employer, you must exercise the highest standard of ethics. When for instance if you're an auditor and you go to an entity and you can see that here this is a problem and the shareholders are going to lose money. It is your ethical uh responsibility, your professional responsibility to be able to raise this matter with the regulators to raise this matter in good time so that necessary mitigating factors are put in place to save the shareholders, to save the employees and to save the entity, the the company in in as a whole in totality.

[00:33:05]>> Ah very good. Now after the three is exams, ethics and experience then you can apply to become an ACCA member. and um you will be admitted. All this the e the exams ethics and experience all this is captured under your my ACCA. When I get into my ACCA I'll show you how it is captured. It's it's usually a very long presentation.

[00:33:35]So I'll not go into that presentation. I usually take ACCA qualification students that are ready to become to to move to the uh strategic professional level.

[00:33:49]That is when they are ready now for me to to talk to them about um how to how to um how to register and not to register sorry but how to record their experience and their objectives.

[00:34:06]they will need a practical experience supervisor. That one is also part of the part of the presentation that I share with now those students who are at the strategic professional level. And then for those that are employed by an approved employer, I also guide them on how to um uh record their practical experience and then uh complete their approved employer form. So this one it's a whole it's a whole um 45 to one hour um presentation on its own which I will not do in this particular session when um when uh your college when Mr. Mustaf's College has enough students and they're ready now for this practical experience um presentation. I'll I'm always available. I'll be happy to take them through and I will say the way Mr. Mustaf says inshallah if God preserves me. Now we also have other qualifications that you can be getting alongside your ACCAS and that is um uh the BSE the Bachelor of Science degree in professional accountancy with the University of London.

[00:35:31]So this one we started registering students in December last year and um they're not that many. they're picking up and um uh students are able to complete an accountancy degree program while they're studying for ACCA qualification.

[00:35:49]The University of London is a prestigious university with a global footprint. It's a well-known it's known all over the world. So you will be you will be privileged to have that as part of your qualification in your CV. It is accessible from the expertise level. Now expertise level is um another word for for the uh for for the strategic professional level in the new redesigned qualification which I will have to schedule another session. I'm sure I don't know whether Mr. Mustafa has taken you lot but I don't think so but when you when you transfer from the FIA to ACCA qualification in early 2027 we will begin to prepare you for the new redesigned ACCA qualification. So you don't need to choose between your academics and professional um uh qualification. You can do it together at the same time. You can study anywhere in the world. Um again uh colleges even those that are teaching ACCAS they if they assessed and um the University of London sees that um this is a college that they can partner with if they assess Shakes and see that they can partner with them you can actually do your BC with the University of London right there where you're seated together with Mr. stuff. It's a pathway integrated into the ACCA qualification journey and it is it enhances employability, opportunity and inclusion.

[00:37:36]Okay. So before we do my ACCA, the my ACCA let's do um study options and support these two you'll be able to see it via your website. I'll also I'll show you how to navigate around when we go live. So there we have study support resources freely available via your website. Our website the ACCA global website via the study hub. It used to be the Africa study hub but now it's been opened up. It was successful and um other places in um the globe said they also want the study hub. So it's slowly being opened up to the globe but we actually were the pioneers of the study hub. We have the CBE practice platform which is also you will access it via your my ACCA. Then there's the student accountant. It's available via the website but it's also an app. You can actually download it and have it on your phones on your tablets on your devices basically. Then we have the learning community but this one is actually being phased off but um you can you can connect with other students all over the world not necessarily in Somalia only.

Your password you should have gotten it when you when you finished the registration process and you were welcomed to ACCA.

[00:41:58]So when during the Q&A session I'll be able to know how many people have accessed my ACCA. But right now I want I was telling Mr. Mustaf that the students need to make my ACCA their best friend.

[00:42:17]So once you get in here, this is what you you get. There's the now the notifications if there any notifications. Right now there are no notifications but this is where you find all your details.

[00:42:33]um how far you add your personal details that is your name, your address and everything. The email address that you have um that ACC also has in their in their records. Then there'll be your personal documents. This is where you will find your transcripts as you progress through your ACCA exams. Then here your statements and payment receipts. Any transaction that you make, you'll find it right there. Then there is the help button which is what I'm I really want to talk about and then your qualification progress as you pass your qualification progress will be registered here. But for you I am more interested in this help button. Why?

[00:43:18]Because ACCA now has new ways of working. We have just rolled that out from 29th of April. So from now on all our stakeholders even Mr. Mustaf himself. They're supposed to uh raise cases. Every student is supposed to raise a case in in case they have a problem in case you have made payments um your exam fees or annual subscription fees and you're not seeing it under your statements and payments uh tab. So, let's go to the help section. So you can see help and support, you can see cases, um how to open and how to raise cases.

[00:44:04]So right now I don't have any cases.

[00:44:06]This is purely for demonstration purposes. So everyone you can see there is the ACCA learning tab. The ACCA learning tab is for our ACCA stakeholders, eg our members, our employers, um or even um our regulators. Like for instance, I'll give an example of um the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Kenya.

[00:44:35]they when they interested in some of our certificates that are not ACCA or FIA, they will come [clears throat] here ACCA learning and register and then they begin to discuss to talk with our back end. Somebody from ACCA learning will pick up their request and deal with it.

[00:44:59]Then there's the I'm a member. You're not yet members yet, but uh Mr. Mustaf is then there is I am a partner. Mr. Mustaf is also a partner. So he too has his own portal and that is how he communicates with ACCA. And then there is you the student. Then you will also become an affiliate. You have already joined ACCA. So let's click on to I am a student. So once you open if you want to raise a case scroll down and then click on I am a student.

[00:45:33]So, you're interested in ACCA careers, you click there and um it will take you to it will redirect you to another portal. Right now, it's going to take so long because everyone in Nairobi is on their on their device. Now, if you have a problem with your exams, you want to book exams, this is where you will click and you will book an exam. you want to request for exemptions or you want to view your exemptions, this is where you will click and get your exemptions. You want to make uh payments, you want to check your fee statements or you want to make a payment, this is where you want to come.

That means you go to my ACCA again. You say your my I am a student. The way we came here um and said and clicked I am a student and it brought us to this page. But now you will not be able to see your portal the way you would if you if you were not um if you were active. So you get in here and you click on readmit reopen my account and then you you say you're a returning if you were under disciplinary action then you choose this but if you're just a returning to ACCA as a student you click there then you contact us and you raise a case if you're ready to apply to reapply for readmission you just click here and you follow the prompts and you um um you become an ACCA student again.

[00:53:59]Everything, all the information is there. The qualification structure both for ACC and FIA. All the details are there including the syllabus and extra um extra information. Exam exemptions, how if you if you haven't um applied for exam exemptions, this is where you go and you're able to um to book to to apply for your exemptions and um upload all your supporting documents. Then there is tuition and study and rules and and um and and uh standards. So, let's go to tuition and study.

[00:55:04]But I wanted first we talk about study resources before we talk about exams. So let's go to study resources so that you can see all the study support resources available to you. There are those for ACCA qualification. There are those for foundation level and then there's the professional diplomas. There are those that have completed everything. You've done your ACC remember but you still want to keep upskilling because education is lifelong. You can never say you're done learning. So let's go to foundation level. Now for foundation level, you select whichever exam you're sitting. Be it recording financial transactions, management information, all that. So let's go to the first one, recording financial transactions, all the study support is here. There's the ACC X, but um you really don't need ACCX because you already have Mr. Mustaf Then you have the syllabus for the F uh the F if the FA exam. Then the examining team guidance. You get in there, you see all the general approach approach to the syllabus and tips on how to improve your exam. Basically all the the information is there. Then for learning and revision, there's the ACC study hub, there's the practice test, there's the um specimen exams, technical articles.

[00:56:29]You have every information that you need for you to prepare and pass your exam at the first instance so that you don't have to keep repeating exams and getting discouraged. Then um we can go now to the exams themselves.

[00:56:48]About our exams, preparing for your exams and then booking your exams. But booking your exams, you do it via your my ACCA. So about our exams again there is the ACCA qualification and then there is also the foundation in accountancy. So you want to know everything about it there all the all all the information is there where to take your exams. If you want to know um which exam centers are available this is where you go. You just click onto this and then um uh you get to know more information.

So my my question is about the fee of exams and you mentioned in the earlier webinar that the the local center administrates the CB exams. So >> the fee that ACCA charges is it determined by the center or the SCA?

[00:59:18]>> Okay. What ACCA does is they give them a guidance. We tell them okay these are the exam fees and um they are and then they they they buy the tokens from us. So what they usually do is they they're allowed to put up a small markup for their own because they're administering and everything else. So they need to keep their CBE center running. So that is why they um they add a small markup for the exam fee and uh the student pays in local currency directly to the licensed CBE center.

So we really have to work together hand in hand with um Mr. Mustav to ensure that numbers are growing. Somalia students are registering and they're supported u to progress so that the center can become a fully regular one giving exams in the in all the four sessions that is now that is my challenge and I I'm up to the challenge >> can I add one additional question >> yes please >> yes my this question is about uh recognizing uh or recognition of the an bachelor of uh certificates of a Somalian first. You know these uh many of these students is may have a graduate or uh bachelor in accountants but still they start from foundation because does not recognize the Somalia certificates.

[01:02:25]So would you mind uh recognizing or proposing that recognition for the SEC?

[01:02:30]>> Ah thank you. That's an excellent question and thank you for raising it. I should have actually addressed it when I was talking about exemptions. Now I've said it to Mr. Simad and I I mean sorry to Mr. Mustav and I'm saying it to all of you. Mo um the majority of um Somalia students are really brilliant and they perform very well during exams. Now it is um it's a pain point for me that our students in Somalia have graduates have to go through FIA. Now we have this organization it's called ECTIS. ECTIS is ECIS.

[01:03:14]After this you can get in and you can just Google it. Now, ECTIS is the regulator of all um um education institutions that want to partner with a UK institution. Now for Seamad for example or um another university in Somalia for it to be ACTIS approved uh for for let me go back to this for them for ACCA to recognize Eg Simad University the graduates and the programs SEMA University needs and needs to first have recognition from the higher education Ministry of um of Somalia and then thereafter present their programs to ACTIS and then ACTIS will assess their programs and say yes they match what we are doing with ACCA they are up to par and then ACTIS gets back to ACCA and say hey we've looked at SEMA University programs please put them in your exemption framework database so that any graduate from SEMA who applies to for ACCA goes in directly. Any graduate maybe with a BCOM in accounting or BCOM in finance or BCOM in management or whichever once they apply they are already captured in the ACCA frame exemption framework database and they instantly ACCA instantly recognizes and gives the student who has applied direct entry with the minimum four qualific um four exemptions. Now, right now as it stands, first and foremost, I'm I'm using SIMAD because I was really um I've been working with SEMA University because most of our students come from SEMA University. So, I had to look for I went into the website and eventually I began to talk to somebody from SIMAD and we have had physical meetings with them at ACCA both physical as well as virtual like the one we are having now. And I explained to them number one Sim University you need to get recognition from your own government the government of Somalia. So get that. And then number two with that recognition take it to ECTIS via web. You don't even have to go to the UK. Just get into their website and begin to engage them.

[01:06:03]They will direct you on what to do.

[01:06:06]upload all the documentation, submit your application, let them review once they've completed that exercise, they come back to ACC and they say we have done it and then ACCA. So it's been an exercise that I've been pushing, believe you me, since 2022. I'm about to give up.

[01:06:29]So the problem is not ACCA.

[01:06:32]The problem is actually your institutions.

[01:06:37]That is why when I email, when I engage students via email, I tell them things sometimes move too slowly in Somalia.

[01:06:46]They need to move faster for the interest eg of our students in Somalia.

[01:06:52]So right now, SIMAD has really made progress. I don't know whether we'll be able to have them on board by 2026, but I really don't want to start 2027 still pushing them. So, at least I've got um SEMA. I'm also working with the East Africa University of Goway and um there's also another university that I'm working with. So yes, we are aware of that and I'm pushing them to do what they need to do so that the graduates of their universities are not disadvantaged as they are right now.

So, we really have to work together Mustafa on this cuz it's actually a very expensive exercise.
