BOOM! High Dollar Items That Sold Fast on eBay & Poshmark This WeekAñadido:
Hello, hello everybody. Happy Friday. I hope you have had a wonderful, wonderful week so far. My name is Cat. I am the nurse flipper. I am a full-time reseller out of North Florida. And today, I'm going to show you all of my high dollar what solds from the last week. We actually have 20 of them from eBay and five from Poshmark. We have had an excellent week. I will tell you just in case you don't like the jewelry, the majority of these from eBay are jewelry and most of them sold very very fast. So if you do like jewelry, definitely a good video for you. And Poshmark is not doing too shabby either. So let's go ahead and take a look. First up on Poshmark is this gorgeous little hand painted loge miniature polka dot cake trinket box. This was a really, really rare piece. I did get my comping from Worth Point. This one sold for 145.
Payout was 116 and I paid about $20 for this. So, it's very close to a $100 profit. So, if you don't know, watch out for trinket boxes.
I do have a video on them. I will pop that up. And this one I got from an online estate auction. And I will tell you that this one I did not have very long. It was listed less than a month and sold on Posh for 145. Next is this Baroque freshwater pearl necklace. This one was 58 in long, sold for 56, pale was 48. I only paid five. So this one's a $43 profit and it only took a couple of months to sell.
And here you can see it was very, very long. I'm not sure why she didn't double or triple that up on the stand. That's what I would have done. Um because it was so so long. It definitely could have been tripled on the stand. That is typically what I do. And this one was an excellent sale. And simply pearls that are double knotted will sell. So definitely keep your eye out. How about a Playboy Bunny pillow? But this one's from 2003 and it sold in three months on Poshmark for $70. Payout was 58. I only paid $5 for this in an online auction. I saw it and I knew. If you don't know, watch for Playboy stuff because it sells well. This is a pillow, but I've also sold cufflings. I've sold bracelets, multiple different things. And Playboy is very popular and I tend to sell the stuff that I find from them fairly fast.
Next up, this was another fast sale.
This is an antique German silver chain mail mesh purse. And we did put Reed cuz it did have some condition issues. This one sold for 80. Payout was 64. I paid five. So, it's a $59 profit. And this was from an online purse slot um from an estate auction. And here you can see it does have the German silver marking on it. And there you can see the little addition. I'm not I don't remember what that's for. I did look it up, but I don't remember what this little clip is for. So, if you know, definitely let us know down in the comments and keep your eyes out for uh the chain mail mesh purses. They do very well. Last on Poshmark is this vintage Valentine signed sterling silver ring. This one took four months to sell. Sold for 80.
Pale was 64. I paid 10. So this is a $54 profit. And you can see it here. Really, really pretty amethyst glass. There is that Valentine signature. It was 6 g, so not an overly small ring. Decent weight on this one and a fairly fast sale.
Moving over to eBay, this was a very fast sale. This one sold in just a week.
It is a vintage Kingman oval turquoise sterling silver ring, size 7 and 12. And this one sold for $57.
And I paid about $20 for this. So, it's about a $20 profit after the fees. And I did go a little bit lower. Uh the buyer did ask me to. So sales were low that day. I went ahead and accepted it. I did want to get about 65 for it. So they asked if I would meet them in the middle between their offer and mine. I went ahead and did that. And it was a very, very fast sale. Another fast sale. This is one that I got from Rod. This one sold for full price $59.99.
And I paid him $10 per garment bag. So, this one's going to be about a $20 profit after fees, but very fast just in uh under a week. I have just started listing them and I was not familiar with this brand. I still really am not. It is Amiri, but definitely something to keep an eye out for is this sold very, very fast. Next is this beautiful sterling silver tennis bracelet. Tennis bracelets are one thing that even if they're not branded, if you keyword them well, they tend to sell fast. This one took a month to sell. It sold for $71.99. I paid $9 for this in an online estate lot and it is going to be a $42 profit. So, watch for tennis bracelets. Again, I have done very well with them whether they are branded or not. And here you can see it was marked, but I was unable to identify who the maker was on this one. But a very, very fast. These are beautiful sterling and turquoise drop earrings.
These were listed 4 months ago. They sold for a best offer of $66.
I paid about $15 for these. So, they're a $30 profit after fees. Earrings are something that lately I've been getting a little bit more of. I love them cuz they're small. They're very, very easy to list. And if you can find a good lot of them on online estate auctions, you can make a pretty good profit. This beautiful Christmas tree brooch is an Eisenberg Ice. It was actually unsigned.
And this one sold in under two weeks for $79.99.
I got this in a costume lot for $5. So, it is over a $50 profit, about $51 very, very fast. Watch for blingy Christmas tree brooches. That is all I will say.
There are quite a few out there. Look at how big this thing is. And I'm actually pretty sure that those lower green rhinestones glowed. And I was gonna have my employee picture that and I was like, "No, it's a good brooch. It'll sell fast anyways." And it did. However, if if I were listing it again, I would want to show it with the black light because I believe that lower row there on the bottom of the stand should glow.
These earrings took a little bit longer to sell. They took 7 months to sell.
They sold for $69.99 and these I picked up on an online estate auction. I paid $10 for them. So they are $52 profit after the fees and really really nice pieces of turquoise.
So these were stamped. You can see the tea there. And these were Navajo earrings and really really good sale even though it did take 6 months. This one sold really really fast and it actually surprised me. I did accept a best offer of $60. This one did go international. Somebody got it for their friend. They had the initials that were on it. And this one I paid about $5 for in an online sterling lot. So, it's a $35 profit after fees. And typically the monogrammed ones end up going for Melt Value, but I was glad that somebody with that had a friend with those initials anyways was able to find this one and they found it pretty fast. This one really caught me off guard because it was plated and I wasn't familiar with Kristoff Lee prior to getting this and it did take a year to sell and I had it on a 20% off sale. So, it sold for $79.99. I got this in like a random collectibles lot. I paid about five, so it's a $51 profit. Watch for Kristoffley, though. They have come up in some of my research videos, and I wasn't overly familiar with them.
However, they have some extremely extremely high dollar pieces. This one was a very, very fast sale. And a lot of times when I see NASCAR stuff, I automatically think that it's not valuable. This belt buckle was the third most valuable. I actually have two Dale Nhard ones that are worth quite a bit more. I got these from an online estate auction. I did pay about $10 to $15 a piece on them. Sold for $89.99 and under a month, so it's about a $50 profit.
So, always check because the majority of the Dale Narnhart buckles really do not have much value. However, there are a few of them that are sought after like this one that will sell for 100 or higher. This set is one of the most beautiful sets I have found and it took almost 3 years for it to sell. It is a hand painted forget me not flower sterling necklace and ring. I accepted best offer of 84. I think I originally paid a little over 20 for this one. So, it's about a $40 profit. Took three years. I would pick this up again. I am not sure why it took so long to sell.
Absolutely gorgeous handpainted sterling silver set. And yeah, I I have no reasoning behind why this took so long to sell. You see something that maybe I missed, definitely let me know down in the comments. Next is this gorgeous set of Louisis Midi mugs. If you've watched me for any length of time, I bought these years ago. And these sold for a best offer of $75. I did originally pay eight for these. So, they're right at a $50 profit. And I had 80 pieces. I believe we're down to about 10 or so.
So, you can see there is some superficial cracking as well as crazing.
Beautiful mug set though. And Lewis Maidi is a Northwest potter. So if you're up in the Seattle, Oregon area, I would definitely keep an eye out for his work. I got lucky and came across a big collection from an estate sale down here in Florida. This beautiful pendant took about eight months to sell. It is a vintage Navajo Naha pendant. This is Sandcast, which is really, really cool.
I love sandcast jewelry. This one sold for a best offer of 105. I paid close to $30 for this. So, it's about a $37 profit after fees. Most of my Navajo turquoise jewelry I do pay up for. So, the profits tend to be a little bit less. Typically, most of them do sell faster than this one did, though.
Apparently, this was the week for my Navajo jewelry.
This is a sterling silver cuff, and this one took eight months to sell as well.
This one I paid about $30 for, so it's about a $41 profit. I did accept uh best offer on $90 on this one. Really, really beautiful sterling and turquoise.
And you can see we do show with the measurements. And this one wasn't overly impressive. And when they're kind of plain like this, I feel like $100 is about the price point you can expect to get. This Tibetan bracelet sold a little bit faster. This one sold in five months and it is a coral inlay with turquoise.
It was a sterling silver piece. Sold for a best offer of $100. This one I gotten a lot. I was only about $20 in so it's also a $50 profit after the fees and really really nice bracelet. And you can see here it was stamped 925. Be careful.
A lot of the Tibetan jewelry is not sterling silver. So, you definitely want to check if it's marked as well as test it if you come across it. 6 months for this one to sell. This is a gorgeous picture Jasper sterling silver oval pendant. Very heavy. It was 36 g. Sold for a best offer of 105. I paid $30 for this one. So, it is a $45 profit in six months. So, with some of these bigger statement pieces, and this one was signed, I don't think this one was Navajo. I think this one was just a signed artisan piece, but beautiful big pendant and a great sale at 105. This one I didn't see coming. This is a vintage millinary head. Um I did put mustache beard barber training and see this was in a house cleanout. I got it for free. Sold for full price of $99 in two months. So my profit is $63 on this one with no cost in. So, if you happen to see these, I actually had two of them. Um, pay attention. There are some that are worth even more than this. And even in this condition, it still sold for $100 in just two months. Next, this is a really, really cute little brooch.
And it is only 2 in. And this one took five months to sell. It is a good sheeperd embroidered tapestry brooch from Germany. And this one I only paid $5 for. So, it's a $70 profit. I I say it all the time, but watch for religious stuff. There you can see the little stand as well as the Germany marking. T- tiny under 2 in and still sold for $100.
This was another fast sale. And if you're not familiar with the name, learn Mooney. It kind of has a particular look. So, if you go and search for Monies, you will see some of the pieces.
This is a Gerta Lingard Mooney's black amber and horn necklace. I did put runway. Sold in under a month for $180.
I paid about 20 for this. So, it's about $105 profit. Fairly fast. And I have found I want to say like two or three Mon necklaces over the years. Look at how heavy this thing is. $142 gram.
Very, very big statement necklace and a very fast sale. I have come across uh Mooney's work in some of my research videos, but definitely something you guys should look up so you're familiar with how it looks. Our highest sale of the week is this French police royal mother pearl box. Um I did put shell grape vines and it sold for a best offer. I sent out with 30% off of $699 and I only paid about $50 for this one.
So, it's about a $475 profit and it took 6 months. So, not very long. Really amazing piece. If you come across stuff that looks like this, definitely pay attention. You can see it did have a small crack there in it. And still sold for $600. Just an absolutely gorgeous, gorgeous piece and an amazing, amazing sale. All right, that was everything. I hope you enjoyed. I know it was very very jewelryheavy and there were some other pieces. I hope you learned some good stuff. I hope you have a wonderful wonderful weekend. Dalton is out of school for the summer now. So, starting next week, hopefully I'm feeling better and we can start having some boat days and some spring days and doing some fun stuff. If you have some fun stuff planned for the summer, let me know. If you haven't yet, check out our retreat that we're doing down here in Florida at the end of July. It is a week-long learning retreat. I would love to see you there. I really appreciate you watching and I will see you on the next one.
Hey, little
