Botting and gold selling operations in Classic WoW exploit the automated mass reporting system, where bot operators and gold sellers coordinate to mass report legitimate players who are farming resources or gold, causing false bans that harm paying players while the automated system lacks human review to verify these reports.

Botting is OUT OF CONTROL in Classic WoW (Again)...Added:
Today we are talking about an important topic in Classic WoW as a whole. And as we're getting closer to Classic Plus, this is also very important. We're going to be talking about botting today.
Before we get into the botting part though, I do want to start this video with some classic classic WoW rage bait.
Somebody made this post on their forums and honestly I read the entire thing.
It's so funny. I just I I don't get it.
Okay, so classic WoW is so bad. Number one, right click for half of the game and then one button/macro for the other half. Number two, carry or being carried. The progression doesn't exist.
Number three, wasting 2 hours on repeated chores before raiding. Number four, travel time takes decades to reach a destination. Unless you buy gold and buy warlock bot service, you can go to the bathroom, watch Netflix and YouTube, then walk back and still see that you are still on the flight traveling.
[laughter] Number five, raid bosses have a half of mechanics than a retail dungeon boss. Yet, people still drop dead left and right even after 20 years of playing. Six class variety is at peak. There are wholesome four classes.
Warrior, mage, priest, paladin, and shaman. So TBC here then. I guess each has one to two viable builds. The other classes are optional. Nothing but decorations.
Number seven, there are evil yapping that spend the time on right clicking 245 2514 NPCs one by one or spending gold on mage camps is hard. and the peak of leveling experience. Yo, this sentence, by the way, I suck at English, but does this make sense?
What? Click spam right clicking NPCs one by one or spending gold on a mage camps is hard.
Okay, nice. Number eight, PvP is P at peak. PvP is judged by the gear you wear, not by rating. You can go griefing lobies and wandering PvEers to brag about your PvP godhood. It just feels like this right here was um TBZ and then down here we're in classic again.
Actually, maybe warrior mage priest.
This could be classic as well, like regular classic. Sure. True. Okay, so this is more like vanilla classic then.
Understood. All right. PvP is at peak because in PvP I feel like PvP in TBC is more about arena and rating, but in classic W it is not about rating. So, did I miss anything? Five replies. This right here is obvious rage bait or a retail and just posting. This is so stupid. Oh my days. Travel time takes decades to reach destination. Yeah, that's kind of the point. Traveling, taking time does make the world seem even larger than it otherwise would. If we had flying in vanilla WoW, I can bet to you right now the world would instantly feel way smaller. Even if we got to the mounts at level 20 as well, the world would seem much smaller.
Traveling slower shows you the the size of the world. Why are you posting here?
Retail is terrible.
So much so people who pay for it would rather play a 20 plus year old version.
And you know what? This is kind of true.
Every now and then I I play I play both retail and classic, right? And every now and then I find myself playing retail and I'm like I'm sitting there thinking why why would I play this when I can rather just play classic? [laughter] Many things when it comes to just enjoying the game I enjoy way more in classic than in retail. I will say for endgame I do like retail a lot. I like raiding in retail. I like mythic plus in retail, but that's about it. Actually, gold making as well. I do like in retail. So those three things in classic. There's just so much more. I like roleplay in classic. I like leveling in classic. I do like the end game as well in classic. I like that the world just makes more sense in classic.
I like the lore in classic. The lore in retail makes no sense anymore. It's just you're clicking buttons, you're doing stuff, but you have no idea why you're doing them in the first place. And when you see a raid boss as well, it's not like fully bait into the lore. But when you see raid bosses in classic, they make sense. You know why they're raid bosses and you know the lore attached to them.
Either way, I'm not going to spend too much time about this post right here because honestly, the video is not about the post, but it's just so funny to me.
Like this post was so good. So good, but in a bad way. It's it's it's weird. All right, Burning Crusade Anniversary Dream Scythe Mass Bot Reportings. This right here is a problem, by the way. I need this to get to the attention of someone at Blizzard because it just isn't right.
In this case, I'll be doing what I can to get this to their attention as well.
But honestly, they already know and they probably don't care. So, yeah, I've been hearing about people, some even in my guild, who have been May mining and herbing professions. And while they are out gathering to farm gold, they end up getting banned because some gold seller whispers them and tells them to stop stealing the nodes or they will have their people mass report their accounts.
Why is it that we are getting punished by these loser gold sellers who goes against toos and abuse the AI reporting system? I pay my membership just like everybody else either through cash or a woow token from another version of the game like Mr. Pondaria or retail. Why am I not able to do what I want in a game that I play subscription for and instead have a chance to be threatened by these idiots who sell gold and ruin the fun of the game for everyone. This is a problem we saw back in Classic WoW and in Classic Anniversary as well. These mafias are real. The gold sellers and the bots, they are real and they mass report people for their own benefit. You see it all the time. And when I was getting boosted in classic W anniversary by a literal friend who boosted me for free, he got banned for boosting me for free because other mages who were selling boost for real life money, they find they found out who he was and that he was boosting people either like for cheaper than they were or for free. They would mass report him whenever they could. So they just all waited outside Moraden and they had like 30 to 40 people waiting outside. They all reported him at the same time and he got banned literally like this. The ban was pretty much instant. These people are abusing the mass report into automated ban system we have right now. like if a certain number I don't know how many it is but there's a certain threshold whether it's 20 reports 30 40 50 actually we know that it's under 40 because in Altra Valley you can abuse this we saw some pre-mades do this in classic wow where if all 40 people report one person from the enemy team he would get banned so we know the threshold is either 40 people or lower and when they all report you at the same time it triggers the automated ban in the Blizzard uh like um in the back end, right? So these people they are now threatening people that are farming gold legitimately and being like, "Hey, stop farming gold otherwise we're going to must report you and you will be banned."
In before simps say that can't happen and there are no bots or gold sellers, the simps are the ones buying the gold for sure.
This right here. Yep. I've gotten all sorts of threats from their bot mafia and the gold sellers. It's hilarious how they react when you tell them you and your friends are going to master report them for breaking to and cheating. The problem is you are probably not doing this, but they are master reporting you.
The It's so bad. Like your bots are they're almost being allowed to bot it seems like. and they are reporting and getting real players banned as well. I hate this. I hate the automated ban feature we have and just the lack of human interaction. It's not even the lack of game masters, by the way. It is the whole AI reply formula and automated system on in the back end as well. It almost feels like there's no human interaction anymore. Even in reading these reports in the first place, at least if enough reports leads to a ban automated, there should be some human reviewing this ban after the fact and then unbanning whenever like it was a false ban.
If my friend for example got unbanned after 2 weeks, but why did he get banned for two weeks in the first place?
You also have this post about botting herbalism bots. This is your daily reminder that every layer in every zone all the time is constantly camped by cabal of bots which takes every single spawn of mana thistle and the nether bloom. Please fix this one as well. Can we ban these obvious auction house bots, please? And I will say like this right here, there are auction house bots, but this might not be one of them. It is just a one example. This could be somebody who is really dedicated to cancel scanning and making gold that way. But there are actual auction house bots. And all of these posts are posts today about botting today and yesterday I guess. So in the last 24 hours, these are some posts on botting. And uh I can confirm from my own gameplay, you see them pretty much all the time. No matter the server you play on, PvE, PvE, they are everywhere.
And the reason why I mentioned at the start of the video here that this is extremely relevant with Classic Plus coming out. We can discuss all we want about systems in Classic Plus and blah blah blah. But if this automated report system is here in Classic Plus, it's going to be a show. I know people from making content. I've been interviewing people that have been botting and stuff. We have videos about that, right? I know that many of these bot operators are setting up the bot operations of a lifetime for classic plus and they will abuse this as much as they can. So, we either need game masters or at least some like more an upgraded human effort in the back end when it comes to reading these um reports and the balance as well and maybe removing the automated ban feature from being mass reported. Otherwise, these bot operators and mafias, gold sellers, you name it, they will use this to ban their competitions. And their competition is regular players who's paying to play the game, which is sad.
It It's not sad that they're paying to play the game. It's sad that they're getting banned for it when they did literally nothing wrong. They got banned for the people that are breaking to advantage of the automated AI feature that we have.
Either way, I'm not going to drag out the video anymore. We all know it by now. Botting is bad. Blizzard, please fix it. We know you can. It's all about can you be bothered to? Do you want to?
Do you care? Either way, let me know your thoughts in the comments down below. Thank you for watching. Peace out. Bye-bye. Bye.
