Car Shopping Is Finally Over! (Big Surprise)

[00:00:00]Okay. Hello. Good morning and welcome back to another video. It's uh day two of car shopping. I don't know what I'm putting on, but um we're at the dealership. We drove 20 30 minutes to go look at this Toyota.

[00:00:17]>> Sure. Rep wasn't coming if I had to roll.

[00:00:22]>> So, it's a TDR. Did I say it right this time?

[00:00:27]>> TRD.

[00:00:28]>> TRD. Whatever. Anyways, it's black.

[00:00:30]We're going to come look at it. She's working uh double today. So, I'll FaceTime her um when we get to it and then we're going to take it for a spin.

[00:00:41]And then they also have Genesis over here, which she was looking at those.

[00:00:45]And there's a really nice one right here. So, we'll see. But at this Toyota, they have leases for $200 a month. So, I don't know.

[00:00:57]Maybe >> it's got to be a catch to it.

[00:01:01]>> We'll ask about it. But Mark's letting his pants dry.

[00:01:06]We ate Subway. It was gross.

[00:01:09]I can't eat lunch meat because of the high sodium. So, I had tuna.

[00:01:15]It was like mush. No thank you. So, anyways, >> I like it when it's warmed up. Yeah, we had it toasted, but she put our sandwiches together and it didn't toast any of them. I have my new Crocs on. I painted my toenails, too. But my Jibbits, we didn't go to the mailbox to see if my Jibbits are in. So, wait till you guys see my Jibbits. They're cute.

[00:01:45]It's not a BMW by no means. I don't like the display either, but the seats are all right.

[00:01:54]They're a little flattish, but not bad. It's got 19,000 miles on it.

[00:02:02]The rims, I like the matte rims. I like the red pinstripes. It's got a nice spoiler.

[00:02:15]It is a sixcylinder.

[00:02:19]So, I don't know.

[00:02:21]Sixcylinder. I know we drove one at the BMW that it was a four, but it was a turbo. And fours, you know, I was always taught to take a six over a four, but fours have come a long way. Sixes have come a long way.

[00:02:50]We're going to take it for a ride.

[00:02:53]See, but it's a decent little car for the money. Does have some curb rash on them rims. People need to learn how to drive.

[00:03:03]And I'm worried about this hood. They haven't taken very good care of it.

[00:03:12]All righty. Um, we are home from the car dealership and uh, we didn't test drive it. I facetimed Ellie and she said no. Uh, she wasn't interested in a Toyota at all. Um, kind of ticked me off the way she was acting.

[00:03:33]So, we apologized to the sales lady and we said, "You know what?

[00:03:38]we're just going to go home and take a break. And then I sent Ellie a very long text about her mouth, if you will and behavior. And so she's at work. We're going to have a chat when she comes home. But yeah, so I am currently working. And I don't know if I've ever showed you guys this. I started moving when Mark was in Indiana. I started moving some of my stuff home. Uh, and I have this is like I used to game here.

[00:04:11]Like I need to get rid of all these lights and stuff cuz I don't do that anymore. Um, and I actually could probably combine this desk into one desk. I'm not sure how I'm going to do it, but um, yeah, I wanted to show you.

[00:04:25]Don't mind the rug. Uh, when he tears up the rug at the front door. So, um, this is kind of my setup.

[00:04:36]Um, so I list things here, package things, and then this box. So, I'll sit here and do um I'll sit here and well, I do the photos in the um the other room and then I um come here, package them, weigh them, put them in the system, and then post them on all of the sites. And then yeah, so today I did about 42 items. I got that done. I try to do this in my off times um when I'm not doing other things and not working. But yeah, so and then I was doing some personal bills and had to file um you have to do your quarterly sales tax stuff with the IRS. I did that today. I made a couple phone calls. I'm switching auto insurance to save money, which you should do every 6 months to a year anyways. And now I'm getting quotes for homeowners insurance because uh that went up a little, not much, but it's always nice to shop around and get your rates better. Um I wanted to give an update about Grammy. She has moved into a assisted living nursing home. Um she does have another UTI, so she's not been doing great, but I heard yesterday was actually a good day. So, I'm hoping she'll get better. She doesn't want to be there. She wants to go home. She does have a surgically, I guess, if you will, surgically implanted feeding tube. It just was implanted through her stomach instead of her nose.

[00:06:27]Uh, and it does hurt her stomach when she when they feed her, but she is getting fed through the feeding tube.

[00:06:35]So, at least she's maybe will get stronger and start to feel better. Um, so she is doing therapy. Um, she did fall out of the chair the other day. Uh, Michael was there, Mark's brother, and had to pick her up off the floor. So, yeah, I mean, she's doing good. I talked to her on the phone. Um, she talked for a little bit and then said she wanted to get off the phone and then I said, "Well, why do you want to get off the phone?" And then she's like, "Oh, they're here for therapy." And I'm like, "Right now?" And she's like, "Yeah, I got to go." She just wanted to get off the phone. So, she's I do think she's experiencing some sundowners. Uh if you Google that, it'll explain to you what it is. Just, you know, in the evening time, they get a little angry, anxious, um agitated, and she is dealing with that, I think. Um but other than that, she's coming around slowly but surely.

[00:07:35]Um I am currently Ellie is working a double. She is started a new job. So this is our slow season for restaurants.

[00:07:46]Slow season means when the snowbirds go home. Uh so slow season they get less hours. So she picked up a second job. Um which same restaurant, not same restaurant but same restaurant business. Um so she'll be doing the same thing at a different place. So, she started that tonight. Um, today was her officially last day of school. She had to go take a test, but they're officially done with school. So, no more school for a couple months.

[00:08:14]We're on summer break.

[00:08:16]Um, but anyway, so we're going to have steaks because she won't be here to eat dinner. She's eating dinner at work. And yeah, so I did get a lot done. I didn't get everything I wanted to get done, but we did get a lot done. Um, I wanted to get a 100 items listed today, but I got sidetracked doing our personal bills and stuff and making phone calls. Phone calls take forever.

[00:08:44]Um, but yeah, so I need to kind of figure out to reorganize this office to get stuff in and I need to start moving my um warehouse over here to get moved out of there. I probably could post a few more things, but I'm actually going to take this stuff, start putting them in pneumatic numeric order, and then I need to get some stickers or labels. I I guess I'll just use a post-it because it's going to be changing all the time and write the numbers like 1 through 20, whatever, and then have them on the outside of the bin. So then when I have an order, I can pull, you know, number 212 and I know which bin it's in. So I need to get that done and get this box over there. And I did get a couple more orders. [00:11:26]So, I'm doing like girls and women's clothing now. So, anyways, I'm going to get dinner. I'll show you how dinner looks when we're done getting ready to eat. And I don't know what else we're going to do um for the day, but I just wanted to hop on and give you guys updates. And uh yeah. Hello. It's a couple days later. Um we were going to continue the video because we went to another dealership yesterday. We were there for quite a few hours. Um, and it's official. She has a new car.

[00:12:06]It's a Nissan Ultima black SR.

[00:12:12]Yeah, that's her original car. Um, she's keeping it uh at least until February or March of next year. So, we will no longer be car shopping. I thought her lease was up this August, so it would have been they have early trade in allowance, which is 6 months, give or take. Um, to where you're not penalized, I guess, if you will. Uh, instead, she has 15 months left. So, her lease is not up till next August, which would make us pay her payment times the 15 months just to turn in her lease. And it's not happening. She may want it to happen, but it's not happening. So, uh, it's fine. It gives her more time to save more money for us to match, you know, for the next car. So, she has what? We're in May, so you might as well say June, July, August, September, October, November, December, January.

[00:13:14]She has like eight months, nine months to save more money. Um, she is working two jobs now, so we'll see. Um, but we are definitely not getting her a car. That is just crazy.

[00:13:30]I'm not paying 10 grand to pay off her lease, plus, you know, money down. It's just not happening. So, I know she wants I know she's disappointed, but there's nothing I can do about changing the term of her lease. Wanted to hop on, give you guys an update. No more car shopping, which is kind of great because it's annoying and it takes so much time and it's frustrating and then then the numbers and they I swear when you negotiate numbers then the numbers just change differently but they're still the same numbers. I don't know if you guys are understand what I'm saying but and I did want to hop on and say that my bathing suits finally came and they're cute. I got I'll show you. So I got this one.

[00:14:21]This is like the top. It's got this design there and then the bottom is a skirt with bottoms inside.

[00:14:35]So, kind of cute. I'm still waiting on one more bathing suit. But yeah, anyways, they finally came. Let me tell you, I ordered from Mod Lily. Don't ever order from them. I had to email them, I think, six times. I paid for expedited shipping so I could get them fast when my mom was here over a month ago.

[00:15:02]Um, it's been Well, my mom was here in the beginning of May, right? Yeah. So, it's been a month. I just now got them and I paid for expedited shipping. They haven't refunded my money for the expedited shipping, nothing. But, yeah, still waiting for one more bathing suit. They were buy 1 get one 50% off. Uh, and I have three. We'll see if I even get the fourth. They I think it's Mod Liy I think is a company in China to be honest. It doesn't say that it comes from China on the package. I don't think Modi Lily is an American company because there's just no way an American company would take that long to ship your products.

[00:15:49]But yeah, so just wanted to hop on and give you guys an update. Um I know some of you were waiting to see what kind of car she was going to get. Well, a Nissan Ultima.
