Live music concerts have evolved into major economic events where artists like Morgan Wallen generate millions per show through ticket sales, merchandise, and venue partnerships, with stadium tours creating significant revenue for cities through tourism, dining, and transportation, while also raising questions about ticket pricing, venue costs, and the changing relationship between artists and audiences in the digital age.

Morgan Wallen Set The Bar TOO HIGH…本站添加:
Welcome to After the Final Bell, a podcast about what happens when an adrenalinefueled career comes to an end and real life begins. Hosted by UFC striking coach Mike Gonzalez and YouTube bounty hunter Trevor Okconor.
>> It's not just about fights anymore. It's about what happens when the gloves come off and the real adventure begins.
>> Join Mike and Trevor as they chat about the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Life after the final bell isn't always easy, but it's always interesting.
This is after the final bell.
I've never seen Holly Holm actually kind of upset or disgruntled after >> a fight. She was upset >> in the in the ring and she like flat out called the re the judges out and was like, I I don't know if they were watching. I won this fight. EV cars topped 20 million in sales. 20 million units >> for 2025.
>> 20 million units.
>> But I can't imagine myself being brought to tears just to see someone playing music. Just to stand there and like physically >> if you're happy, if you're dancing, if you're whatever, I get it. But if you're crying or you're fainting, like >> that's a lot.
>> Yeah.
>> These are the kids that grew up watching people play video games. You remember watch people on YouTube? They would just watch people on YouTube playing video games.
>> And now they've they've transitioned that into >> movie >> actual movie franchises of a video game.
What's up guys? I'm Trevor Okconor.
>> I'm Mike Gonzalez.
>> Can you make up a name once?
>> We I didn't even know we're starting.
>> What's up guys? I'm Trevor Okconor.
>> I'm Mike Gonzalez. Oh, I I said screwed it up again. Anyway, >> this is uh after the final bell, a podcast about what happens when an adrenalinefueled career comes to an end and Mike doesn't turn his ringer off.
>> Real life begins. Now, now we're in real life. Yeah, cuz now I can just escape everything.
>> Now you're done with all these people.
>> Put it on airplane mode.
>> That'd be cool.
>> I refuse to do that >> ever.
>> I don't even do that on the airplane. I don't believe in that stuff on the airplane. I don't either.
>> What's the switch going to do?
>> Unless we end up like that. Uh what is that? That spaceship that blew up the Artemis. Is that what it was?
>> Was it cuz somebody had their their phone on?
>> Probably. They didn't put it on airplane.
>> They didn't put on airplane mode.
They're like I'm not in an airplane. I'm in a rocket.
>> I'm in a rocket. There's no rocket mode.
>> Oh. So, I've got a fresh new look.
>> I know. I like it.
This was I was channeling Morgan Wallen.
>> Well, you were that into it.
>> Does it look good? Does it look like it?
>> Yeah. Yeah. Just a little longer.
>> What happened was What had happened >> What had happened was >> I'm I'm very calorie depleted because I'm having a diverticulitis flare up.
>> Okay.
>> So, I'm not taking in like food is no is a no-go. Um, so I've had like a smoothie a day for like the last two or three days. And so yesterday, calorie depleted, tired. I took a shower, got out, and I I grabbed my clipper, and it has the exact guard on it that I always use because then I can just trim everything. It's exactly the right length. I don't have to think about >> Yeah.
>> So, I trimmed my whole beard, trimmed my mustache. Everything was right. And I took the guard off and I was going to like clean up the cheeks, you know, where you got to edge out.
>> And I don't know what happened. I was just like and I looked and I saw where I kind of missed a patch that had a couple longer hairs in it.
>> So you tried to >> And no, instead of I didn't even think to put the guard on. I just went, "Oh."
So I took like this much of my beard out.
Like >> did you stare at the mirror first thing?
Like just did I [ __ ] did I really just do that?
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, you were so You were probably mad, huh?
>> Do you know how hard I >> Did you just beard, right?
>> No, I got mad and then the only thing that can make me not mad was shaving a mustache.
>> Okay. It doesn't look bad.
>> It It looks bad. It looks bad. I look like I look like I play the fireman in the YMCA music video.
You're that guy.
>> That's what it feels like.
>> Y MCA.
>> No, it'll grow back sooner than past.
>> I hope so. I got some stubble going.
>> Yeah, it'll be it'll start filling out.
>> Yeah, I just shaved it all and then I shaved, shaved, shaved, shaved and then I got I hit the corners and I was like, mustache is staying.
>> There you go. Yeah, stay. Keep it.
>> So, that's unfortunately what uh >> happened. had what had happened in my life.
>> Um, >> it's like you've been on a struggle bus then, huh?
>> Well, it's just it's just being calorie depleted, dude. Your brain just does not [ __ ] fire as fast as it should at all.
>> How many days can you go before one before you start feeling like that?
>> Uh, a couple days. Like the first day you're just sick.
>> Yeah.
>> And then the second day you're not putting calories in. So then you're you're like your body feels lethargic >> and sick.
>> And sick. Um I don't know. I mean, I have the I have fat reserves.
>> Yeah. They're just feeding off of that.
>> That can be used. Yeah. Which isn't bad.
But this is kind of I lost like >> But you're like the US. You don't want to dip into the reserve. But >> I lost like six pounds.
>> Oh. In what? Two days.
>> Yeah.
>> What if you lose like another 10?
>> Then I'm probably winning.
>> You'd feel good probably. Man, I'm I'm mostly winning at that point. Like, I'm probably >> then It probably won't be hard, though.
>> I probably had to >> like I'll probably have to wear like sweats and a sweatshirt to bed just to keep K Miller off me.
>> Oh, I lose that. She'll be like trying to >> Do I need to sleep in the other room?
>> Yeah, I should be trying to touch the goods. I ain't trying to have any of that. Not even a little bit.
>> Not even No, no, >> no.
>> Um, let's see. Oh, we have a Discord.
Discord's been popping. It's been having some fun.
>> We've been We You don't know.
>> I I I watch.
>> You didn't?
>> No. Don't lie. Don't lie.
>> I do. The issue is I don't get in there fast enough cuz you're >> What have you seen?
>> Well, I was tuning in Friday while we were getting ready to go to the gym.
>> Mhm.
>> Oh, no.
>> Oh, that was on my Tik Tok.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> No. Discord or Discord?
>> Oh, no. No. No.
>> For the show, we have a Discord that you >> You're a part of.
>> I'm in, but I'm not in.
>> Yeah. Yeah, I tagged >> I need to get in there, guys.
>> I tagged you today in a post.
>> Oh, then I'm going to then I'm going to check it. I still have it on my phone.
>> You probably won't check it.
>> I will.
>> Um, >> is it going to pop up as a notification?
>> It should have.
>> Okay.
>> Um, but yeah, uh, Discord's been popping off. It's been cool. There's some conversations going there. Uh, the Tik Tok live has been doing pretty dang well.
>> Yeah, you've been on that though, steady.
>> Yeah, I am. I'm still very very very um torn between trading out that time to go to the gym and trying to do Tik Tok live in the afternoon.
Um I'm just I'm so torn. And I'd love to be able to go be a night worker outer.
>> You're just not.
>> I never have been >> really.
>> Yeah.
>> I prefer to I don't know what it is about me. I prefer to work out at night like for myself.
I very rarely wake work out in the morning or the afternoon.
>> I think the problem for me um is I get like I get very energized working out.
>> So you don't want to Yeah. You got to sleep.
>> So then if I go work out hard and come home, I'm like cooking >> and I already don't sleep. So >> everything will be done around the house at night.
>> Oh man, it would be bad. And that's the problem. Like if I get up and work out like I've got energy all day. Let's go.
>> Oh, really?
>> Yeah. But if I work out at night, I'm >> What? What if you pushed it? What if you wake work out a little earlier in the morning and push the show back a half hour, >> bro?
>> What?
>> It's I got to drive 15 minutes.
>> Okay. Wait, what time? You You start the show 8:30, right?
>> 8:30.
>> Okay. So, let's say So, it drives 15 minutes there, 15 minutes back at 8:30.
How long is your workout?
>> An hour.
>> So, an hour and 30 minutes.
>> Yeah.
>> So, if you start at 9 What? 9 8:45 7:45.
You're leaving the house by 7:15.
Then you got get home. You got 15 minutes to get ready to freshen up. And here we go.
>> I got to take a shower.
>> How long does it take you to take a shower? You don't got to wash your your beard. You're 10 5 10 minutes.
>> Get in and out and I'm ready.
>> I don't even know if I'm talking to you today.
>> I don't know if I'm talking to you.
>> I forgot it was Sunday today.
>> Did you? Were you almost not here?
>> No, I remember. You know what's crazy is I remembered I had to come and I remembered I got to go to work but like all day yesterday the day like I thought yesterday was Sunday. This morning I was like ah what are we going to do today? Like oh yeah I got to go Travis. Okay. And then I remember Sunday.
>> Yeah. I um on Friday I had I had I didn't know what day it was.
>> Friday I worked in the morning. And somebody said something somebody asked me something about what what day or time and I and I truly was like [ __ ] I don't >> Yeah.
>> I don't know.
>> I hate days like that cuz >> Friday was a weird one because I worked in the morning so >> at the restaurant.
>> Yeah. Cuz we went to the concert at night.
>> We're going to talk about that.
>> We're going to talk about that. I need Dude, I need some I need some insights.
>> I need There's some things I need to know. I mean I'm trying to look. Let's see. Um Oh, I'm not bad.
I haven't left the house since Wednesday.
>> No, you're good.
>> That's not bad at all.
>> No, >> you work tonight.
>> Mhm.
>> Text JJ.
>> What do you want me to tell her?
>> See if she wants to meet us for dinner.
>> She's going to meet Carson. That's why she was calling >> at the restaurant.
>> No, they're going to go have a meeting, I think.
>> A meeting?
>> Yeah. Or have >> business?
>> I don't know.
>> It >> I wasn't in on that one.
>> Ask him. Tell her. Let's meet. Let's meet for Mexican. I'm gonna try to eat at least at least if I go there.
>> Last thing you want to eat is something spicy.
>> No, it's good. It burns it up, dude.
Actually, the Dr. Jerry when I was really sick, um like when I got really sick and I lost like 25 lbs.
>> I got a sunburn on my head and it freaking itches.
>> Um >> and you lost 25 pounds >> from diverticulitis. Yeah. And uh I I was just I was really not feeling good.
And then when I started to eat, you know, when the when the antibiotics finally started to work and I started to eat, um, we were at Pat's wedding and his mom's boyfriend, Dr. Jerry, who's actually a doctor. We don't just call him.
>> Um, he said, "You know what?" He's like, "I I see you trying to, you know, eat healthy." And he's like, "If you really want my my opinion, you should eat like a greasy cheeseburger or some pizza."
He's like, >> cuz that really like that pushes things through.
>> When you're eating like vegetables, it's it that's the stuff that actually gets caught in my >> in that part of my intestine.
>> Oh, really?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Did it work?
>> It it it it actually did help. It It uh I was able to eat food most of that weekend.
>> See, the doctors are messed up. You want They want to put you on medicine and they don't want to tell you go eat a McDonald's.
>> They're like, "Just go have a you have a greasy burger.
>> Go ahead."
>> Yeah. Tell her Tell her I want I want to go there cuz I need fried ice cream mostly. I need to eat something. But >> fried ice cream's good, >> man. And then you could be our server.
>> I'm the only server.
>> Yeah. I'm going to send stuff back. I'm going to complain. I'm going to ask to talk to the manager.
>> Who's the manager on duty?
>> Me.
>> Oh [ __ ] >> Everything.

I haven't had rise coffee in a couple days >> because of the >> I've just been Yeah. not feeling like I could do it in the morning.
>> I had some the other day.
>> I need one for sure. But check it out.
riseupfoods.com.
Trevor does it 15 will get you 15% off of your purchase. So do that.
>> Try it. It is actually good. It's not just a plug.
>> Yeah, we don't. Trust me, we don't just plug things.
>> No, we we That one's good. We >> Mhm.
>> We use that at the house, too.
>> Jay is on it pretty good. She She likes it, huh? Yeah, she she likes it actually.
>> Does is it helping?
>> Um, yeah. And she just, you know, I feel like she gets she if it makes her she's moody, you should say.
>> Put that in there.
>> Just say, "Have you had your rice coffee?"
>> Yeah. I feel like it's like it makes you feel like coffee should make you feel.
>> Yeah. Yeah. So, normal coffee has between 170 and 200 milligrams of coffee or caffeine per cup. Rise has like 45, >> but it makes you feel better. But with all of the probiotics and mushrooms in it, it actually you don't feel the buzz of a coffee. You just feel you you feel more aware.
>> No crash, nothing. You just >> But that's uh that's all the the good stuff.
>> Who text you? Who's bothering you?
>> Oh, I don't know.
>> What do they want? I don't know.
>> What do they want from you?
>> I can't talk to people today.
>> But yeah.
>> All right. So, Morgan Wallen.
>> Oh, we went.
>> I know.
>> It was fun. Well, that's the second time I've seen him cuz I took Delilah. So Delila >> I've seen him twice and I didn't I haven't seen him at all.
>> Yeah. So Delila >> and you don't even like music or concerts.
>> I like concerts.
>> You don't like people?
>> Yeah. They I could do it. But so when he came I don't know four years ago. Yeah.
>> He came to Ball Arena and I took her for her birthday >> and that's way different than a stadium show.
>> Yeah.
>> And and it was good. It was it was good.
And then Jay, he was coming this time and Jay's like, "I want to go." Because we didn't think about it when we got we just bought two tickets. The day of the show, Jay's like, "I wish we would have just got three tickets. I would have went. I don't know why we didn't buy when we first went to see him. I don't know why we just buy >> three tickets. You can only buy them in two."
>> Yeah. Yeah. Stupid, right? So, we we bought some tickets when they went on sale. We got a pre-sale code.
>> Mhm.
>> And I mean, he's not cheap to see one.
>> No. I looked actually um for Saturday.
>> Oh, those tickets were through the roof because I guess I had no idea. Honestly, I didn't even know who that girl was.
>> Ella Langley.
>> I Well, are you an ele?
>> No, I didn't know.
>> Are you an Ella now?
>> No, I don't think.
>> Did you see her?
>> No.
>> Oh, you you had uh >> It's Friday.
>> You had Brooks and D.
>> Yeah. Which is to me is better.
>> That's old school. Boot scoot and Boogie.
>> Yeah, that was good. They did a good job. Morgan Wallen. He >> Did they sound old? No, actually no, they sounded good. No. And uh but Morgan Wallen pull Gavin Adcock was there too, right?
>> Oh, we didn't see him.
>> You didn't? I like Gavin Adock.
>> Well, because I I had to work. So, instead of taking the day off, I did my cousin a solid and I said, "Hey, we'll switch. I'll work the morning."
>> Right.
>> You work the evening.
>> So, you got off, ran home, showered, and by the time you got there?
>> Yeah. By the time >> traffic was a nightmare.
>> Yeah. Um, but he put on a good show, man. It was He played good music. He played his good songs. He played some, you know, from his new album, his old stuff.
>> And he pushed over a piano >> that he was, you don't even know music like that, but I could tell something was off about it. So, >> he got pissed. He did, but he did a good job of like >> playing it off.
>> Playing it off and he's like, I'm just going to sing it just like whatever. And then Yeah. And then he just like pushed it over. So, I felt like it was he did a good job as far as like not not making it a part of the show, but >> Yeah.
>> But it was >> Yeah, because what I saw online was he or what I read online was that he couldn't hear him his piano in his monitors.
>> Oh, >> he was in your monitors. Yeah.
>> And he couldn't hear the piano, but I guess you guys could hear the piano, but it was like a weird mix.
>> And so he couldn't hear it and he like p and like tried to get them to fix it and they still didn't fix it. So he's like, "I'll just I'll just do this ac capella." And just so he just got frustrated and shoved, >> but it looked like an older kind of beat up piano.
>> It looked like a It looked like your fourth grade elementary uh school room.
It was old. And I don't know if that's >> So I don't know if that was a setup.
>> Yeah. I don't know. It It was a good show. He put on a Heis production was actually >> I would say probably >> And you got to see him come out with the with the Duke, huh?
>> With with Elway. Yeah. That was kind of cool.
>> Saturday. No walk out. No, >> just by himself. Yeah, >> I thought he was gonna have like Bo Knicks for sure.
>> Well, I thought I my first guess was Bo Knicks. I didn't think LA because I was just like, "Yeah, I mean LA makes sense, >> right?"
>> But, you know, >> Well, then Pton Manning was there.
>> Yeah.
>> So, you think he might have walked with him?
>> I think he walked him out in Tennessee, >> but he did. Yeah, he came out in full Tennessee.
>> Yeah, which is cool. But it was, man, he puts on a good show, >> dude. Tell me, was it like >> was it like what >> was it everything like like at a at a stadium style show? Was it like >> So what I'll say about the stadium show, it was my first stadium show.
>> Yeah.
>> And if I don't get at least that kind of like production effort, then I'm going to be bummed. I'm going to be upset >> if you go to another concert.
>> If I if I go to another concert, he set the bar.
>> He set the bar for me. I don't know about anybody else. Like I've never really been to like a Metallica show or like anything like that.
>> But for me, he set the bar pretty high for a for a concert show cuz he he put on he he like he put on a good show.
>> The screen the screen that they were using behind huge >> and they had like a little like small like little short videos playing as they you know and he had >> Did he talk in between a lot and >> um he did a little bit but not as much as he talked more the first time I went to see him than he did this time. and he did talk, but I feel like that's part of >> just the show that they do, you know, right?
>> Um, and he had he had pyrochnis, he had fireworks, he had fire, everything, everything.
>> He did a good job, man. Sang good show, sang his good songs, >> and uh I was glad we went.
>> I'm definitely jealous, >> man. It was expensive. I don't The only thing that bothers me about tickets is not the is not the price. Like, I get they have I get these people have to make money. I get [ __ ] costs money.
>> It's these goddamn fees. They [ __ ] that problem.
>> So the tickets are expensive enough.
>> Yeah.
>> And you I mean it's a stadium show where I mean you logically speaking they can put more people in a concert per show.
>> Yeah.
>> Um but the venue costs more to rent.
>> Um but you think that they could average the cost out to like a regular show because there's 70,000 people.
>> Yeah. Um I I looked Saturday morning I thought sometime you know sometimes there's just like a people want to get rid of those tickets that they you know they something happened or they bought a bunch and didn't get get them sold. M um I think the cheapest tickets I found were like 275 a piece before fees and I might as well have just walked outside and like tried to listen from here because they were so far away from the stage that all you can hear is >> Yeah. Yeah. I wouldn't I would have been like who's here?
>> Yeah, man. I'm He He did It was a good show. It was fun.
>> Yeah, >> it was fun.
>> You know, I thought about the $275 tickets. I really did. I was like, but then >> you know what's crazy?
>> When you put them in the you put them in your cart and then >> instead of it being $550 for two tickets, it's like 780.
>> Well, see on Friday because So when when they didn't announce that that girl was coming right away, >> Ella Langley. Yeah.
>> Right. I knew Brooks and D was coming.
Mhm.
>> So I told JJ, I want to see I don't know who's going to open for him, but I want to see them instead. So let's just go Friday, right?
>> Cuz she was like, when do you want to go? And then I was like, well, who's >> who's going who's opening with him?
>> Who's with them?
>> And uh so so I was like, let's go Friday.
>> Instantly when we found out that girl was coming, >> we looked at the tickets and they just like tripled in. So on Friday still at on Friday you could still get tickets in like >> well like the the the fifth level was or that 500 was like 80 bucks.
>> See and I should have just but the problem is my eyesight is terrible >> and I can't hear as it is. So I need to be at least close enough.
>> I feel like we had some pretty good seats.
>> Well the video that JJ put up looked like you guys had >> So we were in the first we're in the first level >> like club level. No, but well pretty close because we're in the first level, the last row. So there's nobody behind us, which was nice. So nobody's spilling [ __ ] on me, right?
>> Cuz that's what I hate the most about >> Oh, you were on like the the ground level?
>> No. So So like >> not the floor, not the field, but that first >> Oh, you guys really >> So So we had I felt like we had really good seats.
>> Yeah.
>> And >> like I man, going to a stadium show like >> I don't know if I would ever buy floor tickets.
>> Uhuh. Not me.
>> You know what I mean? Like I'm just >> Well, that's where the sloppy stuff happens.
>> That too.
>> People that are down there on the floor like >> it's like 99.9% of the time you see just dumb [ __ ] happen.
>> Yeah. So I felt like if we and again it to like it would probably be >> similar seating.
>> Similar seating maybe a little bit more down or something. But that but in the right I'm not in the field just >> on that first level.
>> See now club level >> would be perfect to me. Like if you could get the bottom half of club level.
>> Yeah.
>> So you're on that first overhang. My nephew got lucky, man. Um, so I didn't even know my sister was going. She posted on Instagram, Morgan Wallen tonight. And I said to uh JJ message, "You're going?"
>> "Yeah." I'm like, "They must have bought tickets last minute." And she's like, "I'm going with Adam, my nephew, and he's a >> he's a recovering alcoholic that that's getting help now." Mhm.
>> And I guess Bud Light gave I guess they probably donated some tickets and they let him go up in the suite in the Bud Light suite. I guess there was no beer, no nothing.
>> I was going to say not contradictory to what he's trying to do. They didn't >> So they had a sober suite.
>> Uhhuh.
>> Wow. That's impressive.
>> Yeah.
>> I like that. That's impressive.
>> Yeah.
>> For a company whose whole job is to sell booze to say, >> "Yeah, some people need a place."
>> Yeah. No, >> that's cool. So >> that's really cool. Dude, I got to make it a point. Like I I gotta quit missing out on things.
Um because I just a when I see it, I don't >> I didn't know you guys wanted to go that bad.
>> Oh, man. He's my number one like concert to go to.
>> Oh, really?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. If you told me to make a list of five people to see in concert, >> that's one.
>> No, he's number one.
>> Oh, he's number one.
>> Yeah. Who's number two? Um, probably Eminem.
>> Man, I'm so bummed about that. So, you remember years into 2000, they came with the Up and Smoke Tour.
>> Yep.
>> I had the opportunity to go with my cousin and I was like, "No, cuz I This was back when I was, oh, you got to work. You can't take days off. You got >> Oh, back when you thought world revolved around being >> Yeah. So, so I like No, I can't take the time off. That's the one reg like in concerts. That's the one regret because I've already seen I've seen Snoop. I've seen Dr. Dre.
>> Mhm.
>> I've seen >> You probably won't get to see him.
>> No, that's the only one I need to >> Yeah. Yeah. Saturday to me would have been probably perfect because I do like Ella Langley.
>> Um not It's not like I'm like, "Oh, Ella Langley." Yeah. Um, but if you if you are a Tik Tok person, there's a >> there's a content creation house out of Nashville called the 615 house where all singer song young singer songwriters all live in this house and like they write songs and perform songs >> like try to make it.
>> Yeah. Yeah. And it's a it's a cool big house. There's like there's something behind it. I don't remember exactly, but there's money behind it that these kids get to, you know, live there for free.
>> Um, but she was part of that.
>> Oh, so that's Yeah.
Um, >> I mean I I I don't necessarily know I know who she is because I I've heard the Tik Tok and I've I've heard the, >> you know, but like to me it wasn't a big deal, >> right? No, I I would have liked to seen that. Um, I just need to be better. Like there's no reason. And you know, I'll tell you a a portion of what it is and it is probably what a lot of people expect. I grew up stupid poor.
>> So I think everything is so outrageous that you can't afford to do it.
>> Yeah. Even if you have like I'm not rich by any means, but >> we can afford to do a few things.
>> Yeah. Well, >> but I I tell like in my mind we can't afford to do anything ever.
>> I mean, when we went to him four years ago, I think me and me, we paid for the two tickets, I think, and we sat even closer. We still sat in the in the first level at at Ballerina.
>> Yeah. But first first level at Ballerina is >> is close, right? And I think we paid I want to say it was like 90 bucks.
>> Yeah. There's absolutely no reason that I don't go. Well, >> a mentally I I I screw with myself cuz I just believe that everything is like >> all of that stuff is out of my reach.
Yeah.
>> And I don't know why I shouldn't.
>> Also, because we know I have social anxiety disorder and so sometimes crowds >> Yeah.
>> Well, not sometimes. all the times crowds like mess with me and it's not so like if you go somewhere and the and the and the crowd energy is good. It does like I don't I don't get the anxiety but when you go there and you start like as the night goes on and the people around you drink more and they start to get that kind of like like >> bravado type energy it [ __ ] it for me and I'm like I just rather go home. Man, we sat by some pretty everybody we sat by the G area we sat there was one lady you could tell she was >> had a little >> too much >> some barley pops.
>> She she was screaming out. It wasn't nothing bad. It was just like she was the >> she she for sure was on the MAGA train.
>> Yeah, you whatever. I don't you know it didn't ruin my night because everybody around us >> Yeah. Everybody there was a few people that were drinking >> but nobody was heavily drinking, >> right? you know, everybody won or two beers and >> and that's honestly one of my biggest problems.
>> That's what also made it fun >> is I hate that people think >> that to go to a concert you have to get a like obliviated.
>> Yeah. You don't What's the point, >> you know? For a lot of people, they're like, "Oh, it's like it's like the Super Bowl or something to them. They're like, >> no, >> they have to you have to drink this much. You have to be." And I'm like, or you could just really enjoy the fact >> we paid too much money, too.
>> I want to see this artist live.
>> We paid too much money for me to forget.
>> You know what I'm going to do?
>> Huh?
>> I might fix my problem.
>> What?
>> I just need to see if there is a live recording on YouTube of one of his of a show from this tour cuz sometimes they do that.
>> Well, they were recording. I mean, he had obviously he had came, but he had the the the little one, the Air, the 360 that was all over the place all night.
>> I'm going to put on my Oculus.
>> There you go.
>> Cuz you can go to YouTube.
>> Yeah. Put it on >> and you can make the screen however big you want. So, I could just sit on my couch and watch the whole show.
>> And if it was the live, if it was a recording of a live show, I'd get the feel from the >> crowd noise. You should look.
They should Oh, dude. And I'm sure someone's already doing it, but Oculus, Meta, um, they need to partner with all these big concert tours, and you should be able to buy a reduced ticket that you can watch it live on your Oculus at home.
>> Would you do it?
>> Yeah, 100%.
>> 100%, dude. and just put it on.
>> How cool would that be?
>> That would be like a live like a live like >> live like while the show is happening like you're watching >> all the camera switches that they're record everything.
>> Yeah.
>> So you're like it's almost like you're there >> but you don't have to you don't have to hear anybody.
>> You just hear your No, but it was good, man. He did a good job. I I I enjoyed watching him. I did. It was It was fun.
It was fun. Like I I'm not a person that like you know you get the like we know a couple people that um when Metallica came I guess they paid two nights or however many nights they played >> right?
>> We we those people they went both all night and it's just like that >> if I see if I see you once like I'm good. Like I think I just need to >> like I want to see I want to see my artist at kind of the pinnacle of their career in the best live environment and then I don't need like >> I need to see one of these guys when cuz he brought up the Grizzly Rose the other night. He's like >> uh what do he say? He was something like >> I don't know something about being on the road and he's like it's crazy to go from when you stop at the Grizzly Rose and then you see her, >> right?
>> You know, I was like damn.
>> I've seen um I've seen a few really good concerts at the Grizzly Rose. Oh, really? Who'd you see?
>> Um, so I used to have I used to have some friends that were in touring country bands. I used to have a good buddy named Mike Love. Mike Love and Raising Kane was their name. Um, they went on pretty good tour. Uh, Jared Neman >> who's a country artist and one of his big hits early on, he covered one of um, Tracy Chapman's songs. Not not the one that Luke Holmes did.
>> Oh, just another one.
>> Yeah, I think it was Lover Lover or something like that. Um, and then I saw Trent Tomlinson there.
>> Okay.
>> Um, we saw Gary Allen there, I believe, went like way early.
>> Damn.
>> Yeah, he was just I I I'm trying to remember. Pretty sure it was Gary Allen.
He just It was just him. Um, and he had his drummer, but his drummer was playing with brushes, so it wasn't loud. And he was playing just an acoustic guitar.
>> So, it was a cool show. Um, I've seen a few like I've seen some uh Pat Green who sings uh unless you're an oldtime country or like late 2000 or early 2000s country, late 90s. Um, he he sang a song called Wave on Wave. It was a huge hit.
>> Yeah.
>> Um, so I've seen a lot of those guys.
We did um I went up to Cheyenne Frontier Days with Mike Love because they were opening for Kenny Chzn >> when Kenny Chzn had Uncle Cracker with him on tour >> because they had that that mashup song that they did. Yeah. So, we did that and we got to go side stage for Kenny Chzn there and >> Oh, nice.
>> It was cool. Um >> it's just different now. I guess >> if Cody Johnson came on on in the I would go >> I want to see him.
>> Let's make a pact.
We can't let each other flake. If Cody Johnson comes, we'll buy tickets.
>> He might be coming to Cheyenne Frontier Days or the Gly Independent Stampede. I can't remember, but I he might be coming to one.
>> We should before they go resale.
>> Yeah, we should buy now.
>> Yeah, >> we should look cuz I want I I want to see him. I like his I've started liking his music and then >> there's like good like some songs that I do like his and then the more I listen to him like >> some of his deeper cuts are actually better than some of the radio stuff that's >> Yeah, I like it.
>> Um All right, moving on from Concert Talk.
>> All right.
>> Do you watch the fights last night?
>> Which the Holly Home >> Holly Home stuff?
>> No, no, I was working so I I uh I had it on.
>> Um I seen but I did see the that trick one. It said it was controversial. I don't know how controversial.
>> Uh the strike count wasn't even close.
>> Really?
>> Holly Holm dictated the pace, dictated the the the movement in the ring.
>> You think they didn't want >> struck her by >> You think they didn't want the the the Holly the old Holly Holm to win to >> ruin the >> I don't know.
>> I you know what I Good for >> But the judges have been bad a lot.
>> Yeah. All over. But the good for MVP, they put it on ESPN. It wasn't even like a >> Netflix or >> like No. or you didn't have to pay for a subscription, >> you know, so that's good for them.
>> Yeah. No, and it I mean I've never seen Holly Holm actually kind of upset or disgruntled after >> a fight. She was upset >> in the in the ring with Stephanie Han standing there. They turned and asked her and she's like, "I won this fight."
>> Damn.
>> She's like, "No disrespect, but I won this fight. I controlled the center. I did this. I did that." strike count was off by by a lot.
>> Yeah, she she did a lot. And she like flat out called the ref the judges out and was like, I I don't know if they were watching. I won this fight.
>> Damn.
>> Not like I feel like I won. Not like usually she's pretty lowkey about.
>> Um >> Damn. UFC put on a fight this weekend.
>> Yeah. 3:00 a.m.
>> 3:00 a.m.
>> Yeah.
>> Why are they doing this?
>> Well, that market isn't full.
But they already got their seven billion >> so they can put on a 3:00 a.m. show and do it in >> which I think >> where was it at?
>> Maku Mak Macau.
>> Yeah. In China.
>> Which the Parammont deal for the overseas fights is probably better for the people over there because >> But they don't have pay-per-view anyway.
>> No, but we do here. But it's already a paid we already paid our whatever 12 bucks or whatever a month.
>> So they can put it for a normal start time wherever they're at. So that that card is not starting at 10:00 a.m. or in 9:00 a.m.
>> their time.
>> Their time.
>> Yeah, I guess I didn't watch it. Why?
Because I'm not I don't And maybe maybe it's because I'm a spoiled little [ __ ] Um but I'm not going to I'm not going to go back and watch a fight like if they had it happened at 3:00 in the morning. It was over by the time I woke up. Didn't happen in my world. It just didn't happen.
>> Just didn't happen.
>> No. But there's people that will like >> Yeah. They >> they'll go watch it after the fact. I'm just not that person.
>> 3:00 a.m. is for the first fight to start.
>> Well, I'm not I'm not getting up at 3:00 a.m. to watch fights.
>> The last I think it was Perth. The one that started in Perth was pretty late, too.
>> Yeah.
>> I got home from work and worked out and then I couldn't fall asleep because I was amped up for a sec. I think the first fight started 2 a.m. So, I caught the first fight and then I went to bed.
>> That's But that's like you that's still the next day, the day before. I even >> I think the only time I've ever done that was dude it had to be 10 years ago.
Um Josh Copelan fought in maybe it was Russia or China. It was somewhere. It wasn't a UFC fight. It was after >> he'd been cut, but he was >> he was kind of fighting on some bigger promotions that weren't quite there.
>> Yeah.
>> And he fought and it was like at >> I I think I I woke up at like 1:45 in the morning. I set an alarm, woke up, watched his fight, and then just went back to bed.
>> Yeah, I'm I'm not a fan of those late night. That's or what is it? What is it?
Late night fight or early morning fight.
>> Well, it's late night for me >> cuz I'm not getting up that early and staying up.
>> No, you're just better off just staying up.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. This the late night >> and I probably can't do that either.
>> Yeah. No, I don't I didn't watch any of the fights really. I just had them on at at uh at work and then the by the time I I wanted to get my yard done. So, I think I woke I woke up about 8 7:38 and I got my day started. We went to Home Depot, grab a couple of things. I started my yard. So, I didn't even mess some more retaining wall blocks.
>> No, no, I got enough of those.
>> You got a couple extra?
>> I've got Yeah, I've got about 20 extra right now.
>> Oh, man.
>> I orig I originally was going to have like 40 extra and I added some more walls, so I was like, "Oh, okay. This is great.
>> But I'm going to make some steps out of some of the blocks. I'll be I'll use a little a few more, so it'll be fine."
I'm I've been looking on marketplace >> poor >> uh like pave stones and stuff because I'm going to start getting >> that piece of the backyard and I'm like man >> you can see like people will give away like those 1ft square pavestones.
>> Yeah.
>> They'll be like I got 40 of them just come get them. And I'm like that's just my price.
>> Well >> cuz I wanted to do pathways.
>> Okay.
>> And I found those roll out like garden paths. They're they're like wood and then you get them they're like 10 ft long and they just roll out.
>> Oh yeah. Yeah. I know what you're talking about.
>> You can kind of put a little bend to them if you want.
>> I just know that a one of the dogs will try to chew on it or we'll get the like we'll step on it weird.
>> They'll break.
>> Yeah. And I'm just not I'm not about it.
So >> I think I'm going to go with pavestones for the walkways and then road basin turf.
>> Okay. I still I mean we still have to figure out the the the trim over on that side because >> apparently >> that's that was part of that. Well, that's >> the dog track over there. We're just going to Yeah, like we keep that we keep that all messed up so we can remember our roots.
>> Oh, >> but >> I got to get some I got to get some fil dirt from marketplace because they give out free >> Oh, yeah. People always like come get it.
>> Yeah. So, I I got I don't need a bunch, but I need some >> like a truckload.
>> Yeah, probably maybe a truckload.
>> The only problem with that >> is you have to shovel it into the truck and then you have to shovel it out of the >> Yeah, that's the worst part.
>> So, it's like two days worth of workouts.
>> So, I'll probably >> I'm going to try to >> I need to message Asa, Jaden's boyfriend.
>> Why? cuz he's a hard worker and I need like the backyard raaked and all of the stuff picked up including some dog poop.
>> Uhhuh.
>> Do you think if I offer him like a hundred bucks cash? Is that the right price?
>> Yeah. How long How long is it going to take?
>> Less than half a day probably. Maybe half a day.
>> Half a day?
>> Yeah. Like 20 bucks an hour?
>> Yeah. 20 If it takes four hours at 25 bucks an hour.
>> I don't know. I just uh I just need something to kind of get us moving in the right direction and I kind of feel like having that clean slate is the only way to start.
>> But I don't know. Um EV cars, did you see EV cars topped 20 million in sales? 20 million units >> for 25.
>> 20 million units.
Damn, that's a lot of in in the United States or the world. Um, I pretty sure this is the US. Let's see.
>> I I saved the article just so I could read it.
>> My calculator.
>> Uh, global EV sales surged 20% in 2025 to over 20.7 me million vehicles accounting for 25% of all global car sales. So is global.
>> That's still that's >> Europe saw a strong rebound.
Um, but US everybody in the whole world that's 56 56,712 vehicles sold every day.
>> Yeah.
>> Of EV. That's a lot of EVs.
>> Yeah.
>> Damn.
>> Uh, EV sales in the US fell 4%.
>> Why?
>> Um because they stopped giving out that tax credit.
The US stopped giving the tax credit for it. Yep.
>> Do they still give a state credit? I don't know. cuz I know that the bit it was big because they gave a >> state. Yeah.
>> So, you could really get ahead.
>> But yeah, 20.7 million EVs and now things are really starting to happen in the We've talked about it a lot, but in the EV world, >> I mean, I'm >> they're making some they're making some strides.
>> I'm ah man, I thought I would never even think about it, but >> it makes me wonder because >> you could buy a truck or car, SUV, whatever it is you you're looking for, >> or you could buy the hybrid. Like I really want the I really want that hybrid that has the like I don't want I don't mind >> you want that Ford pickup.
>> Oh yeah.
>> I think Dodge is doing the same thing.
>> Yeah. But >> you know what? I need to go down the rabbit hole this week because I looked at electric motorcycles several years back.
>> Mhm.
>> And they just did not equate >> um >> to like a real one >> to how far you could go. Like it was like >> 80 miles.
>> Oh jeez. You could go what, a couple hundred on a gas one, right? Easy or no?
>> Yeah. Yeah. But it just didn't make like it didn't set. My bike I can I can do probably 200, maybe a little more.
>> Okay.
>> But it's a small tank, dude.
>> But is it just You think it's So I've never really rode I've never rode a bike.
>> Mhm.
>> You know, I think the most I've ever drove was a was a quad. So I never drove like a two motor. Yeah. Like actual bike.
>> You think it'd be as much fun?
probably more.
>> Yeah, >> they're faster off the line.
>> That is true.
>> I mean that >> Yeah, that's that's true.
>> Transfer to torque to the wheel. I mean, it's right now.
>> Yeah.
>> Um, and I don't mind it being quiet.
I don't need loud anymore in my life.
>> That's what I was That was my next question because I know some people put them loud ass pipes. I'm like, >> but they do that. Most people do that because they want to be heard so that they don't get run over.
>> Oh, okay. Well, if that if that's the case, then all right, I I get that.
>> Sure, >> I get that. But if you want loud just to be loud, I'm like, this is obnoxious.
>> Yeah, I don't enjoy it.
>> Oh, man. Um Yeah.
>> I think they even have with some of the electric motorcycles, they even have exhaust sound.
>> Really?
>> Yeah. That you can turn on and off, >> which might be safe, I guess, if you're going to traffic, >> maybe. I don't know. Either way, >> EVs though, man, that man I've been looking at I not we're not buying a new car. I know Honda tried to >> they tried to come get you.
>> They gave us they gave us a good price cuz the lady I took it to service cuz that's where we bought it. So, we just take it there.
>> And um and the lady messages, texts me, calls me and she says, "Hey, you know, we're looking for would you guys be interested in training your car and our our lot is empty with used cars." And I walked out there and I was like, "Sure [ __ ] it is empty. At least she's not lying right there.
At least we didn't start with a lie, you know." So, and I said, "Uh, I said, "Honestly, no." I said, "I don't we're we're not really," I said, "I'm just curious, you know, what would you guys be offering?" And we were still in the dealership >> and uh which was great because I didn't really want to talk to him because >> then I'm just like turn like no, leave me alone, you know? So, we start talking to them or I start texting her and she's like >> I said, "Okay, I'll just talk to my wife, you know, and and then uh and then she messages me like we left and got to the gym. She messaged me." Well, what' you think? I said, "Yeah." I said, "Well, our car's, you know, cuz we're all it's almost paid off, >> right?"
>> Said, "This car's almost paid off." I said, "And the sound of no car payment >> is sounds really, really nice."
>> Mhm.
>> Oh, okay. Were you just curious on what you could get for it? I said, "Well, I didn't want to just say no without knowing, >> right?"
>> I mean, you know, cuz I did text her and and I was like, "If I now, if you're offering me like like a lot of money, I was like, "Well, then >> let's talk.
>> Let's figure something out." I said, "But I mean the price they were offering us was really good." And and I was like and she's like, "Oh." I said, "No." I said, "Not right now, though. Thanks."
And so, we were looking. I was like, "Dang. It would be nice though." But I started looking at other stuff cuz even the trucks now, they're offering all these kinds of deals.
>> Yeah.
>> And I was telling JJ, I said, "Not that I would ever get rid of my truck.
>> But if I was buy, if I was thinking about it, >> now might be the time because they're giving all these incentives. They're giving you a low percentage on the a APR.
>> Y, >> you know, and I'm just like, what's going on in the world that >> some of those economy is bad?
>> Some trucks were over 100 grand and now you can get a nice one for 75, >> right?
>> Or whatever.
>> I'll never I I don't I can't say never.
>> I can't say I'll never own a new car again.
I don't anticipate buying new ever again.
>> I would only because of loss. I would only buy new if it was a EV.
>> If it was that Ford EV for my first car, any any EV just because I'm like I know how hard I rode that Tesla when I rented it because of >> it's like it's cool to get the get up >> right off the lot. It's cool to I'm just like >> Yeah, but there's not as much torque or there's not as much strain on moving parts on any >> No, no. I mean, just the I was talking to Velour about it actually because he's he's been sold on the whole electronic thing.
>> He got his wife to >> she's in now.
>> She's in on Well, she they bought one.
She cuz she was like looking for a new car and >> he talked her into it and she didn't want it, but she tal He talked her into it >> and I was asking I said, "What is the worst thing about like that you complain about?" He's just like just tires.
>> Oh.
>> Cuz it goes through them because of the Yeah. Because of the torque and all that. And he's like, "I've spent," he's like, >> he's like, "It He goes, it still doesn't average out to like the the oil changes and you're still making the you're still," he's like, "But you know, however two or however many, however, like one or $2,000 every few months or 6 months or eight months, >> he's getting tired every six months, >> something like that. It's it go the Tesla goes through.
>> You need to talk to V. That dude's that dude's hot rodding."
>> Yeah, that Yeah, it goes through him pretty quick.
>> That's a lot, dude. Twice a year, >> I think. He Yeah. And maybe not now because now they have two vehicles where they >> Dude, I got like 60,000 miles out of my original Ford Edge tires.
>> Yeah, you won't. You get maybe 25.
>> Wow, that's crazy.
>> Yeah, you don't get you don't get very many. And so, and then he's had some other work done that's costly because it's computer, but >> Right. It's all electronic based. Yeah, that's >> um just think if they put out a motorcycle that had that tiny small gas engine that >> could char Oh, you wouldn't even have to ever fill up.
>> You just drive for >> days.
>> Just keep going.
>> Straight. No, not even stop. Just stay straight.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. I I would >> I'm interested to see what what electric motorcycles are doing right now.
>> I'll tell you what, when they start test driving that hybrid truck, I'm going to go do it.
>> Oh, we need to do that. Just We're just going to go there. I'm going to sound as interested as I can and >> before I tell them I'm poor.
>> Yeah. Before I tell them can't do it, but I'm I'm >> Yeah.
>> I mean, cuz it's going to cost the same as if you bought a brand new truck >> pretty much.
>> It's base price is what was it? 57.
>> Yeah.
>> Up to 80.
>> Mhm.
>> You I mean 80 grand is what you're going to spend on a brand new pickup. But if I can get 700 miles out of it. Yeah.
>> So, I don't know. I I if I bought an if I got rid of my truck, I would want a uh I'd want one of them older Fords uh trucks like the uh Let me let me look it up.
>> The High Boy, the like 70s.
>> No, no, not that old. No, not that old.
Not that old.
>> Um >> let me see.
>> While you're doing that, did you see uh Jay-Z played live for the first time in six years? Jay-Z um >> like this >> broke his silence. Let me see.
>> It's on eBay. I I can't buy it.
>> Show me the picture.
>> Oh, >> like mid90s.
>> That's like Jason's. Have you seen Jason's? That red one that he has.
>> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Like mid midnight. Yeah.
>> Yeah. Mid90s.
>> Like that's what I would >> square body Ford pickup.
>> Those are pricey right now, too.
>> I would be willing to pay that over a new truck, though.
>> 50,000?
>> Yeah.
>> You'd pay 50,000 for an old '90s pickup or 50,000 for a brand new pickup? for an older. Yeah, >> sometimes.
>> Yeah, I would.
>> That's a good thing you're married.
>> She keeps you from doing dumb stuff like that.
>> Yeah.
>> Um, let's see. Jay-Z broke a six years of solo concert silence Saturday night at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia with a 4-minute freestyle in which he uh dissed Kanye West, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Dame Dash, and um singer Jaguar. Wright.
So, he just did a he did a four-minute diss track. The first time he's done anything live in over six years.
>> Wonder why.
>> I don't know.
>> He's gonna start his beef.
>> He's beefing with everybody.
>> So, he used to be he used to work with and >> and Dane Dash and Drake, right?
>> Oh, I don't know.
>> Yeah, he's got some He's got music with Drake.
>> Oh, he Oh, [ __ ] Oh, I mean, maybe they did it wrong or he did that wrong.
>> Or maybe he just wants to to be part of something. Maybe he just feels >> I'm not a fan of his music. Maybe. I don't really >> I don't know, dude. There's some old school like blueprint stuff.
>> It's It's okay. I've just never been a Jay-Z fan. I think I think it just never just >> It just never hit for you.
>> Yeah.
>> Not that it's not good.
>> Yeah. Some of his older stuff I do really like.
>> It's just I don't know.
>> I think he I mean he's so rich now.
>> He doesn't need to.
>> But he's out of touch anyway. I don't know where he's got beef.
>> So I see Speaking of >> Where do you got beef? When you got beef, >> you get you get5 billion dollars.
>> If I had a billion dollar, I wouldn't be >> There's no beef. I don't even have beef, let alone if I had that much.
>> There's There's no beef.
>> No.
>> When you have that much What are you beefing about?
>> Who bought a bigger yacht? Nobody wants to hear that song.
>> So, I seen I was Oh, not seen. I heard on the radio the other day because I I have no I have my truck. It doesn't have >> you only have radio, >> right?
>> And they were bringing up these like topics and stuff and I can't remember what state it was on my way to work so it was in the afternoon and um they said that I guess Drake dropped his new album. Three albums, right?
>> Three albums drop.
>> One of the first people to pass Michael Jackson in a in a number one. I don't know. Something with the number ones.
>> And then they started talking and they were the lady's like, "But is it the same really?" He's like, "This is downloaded." He's like, "Michael Jackson had >> you had to go physically buy."
>> That's what she's saying. So she to her and I I would Would you Would you agree if it it's not the same if you have eras? It's completely different eras.
You can't you can't compare I can download the album to I have to go physically buy the album and have the machine to play the album and you know do all No, it's not the same in any way.
>> Yeah, I don't think so. What's like Spotify listens or downloads? I mean, you can't compare that to CD purchases.
>> Yeah. No, >> you know, but I mean, of how they don't they make like a fraction of a penny per stream online.
>> That's how they make some money.
>> Mhm.
>> I was I was curious on how they made money still.
>> Yeah. No, no, no. They have copyright, so they they release it. And like Spotify doesn't get to just have everybody's music for free and play it. They play they pay a certain amount >> to the label.
>> Yeah.
>> To play the >> distribution.
>> Oh.
>> And then the label takes their piece and then breaks off the piece to the artist and >> whatever else.
>> Yeah. It's not I mean you see a lot like big time artists are like dude did you it's not like they don't make a lot of money.
>> Yeah.
>> But that's where touring comes in.
>> I think that's and that's kind of the split that happened in music for a while was you didn't really make anything off your distribution like off record sales.
That was all kind of went back to the label for the most part and you made your money touring. I mean, you just figure have 75,000 people at Morgan Wallen the other night. Well, >> at 200 bucks a ticket.
>> I Googled it. How much it's it's like he makes two million a show.
>> Yeah.
>> Now, that's not profit, but >> Well, they said he makes it was like in in a in a twoight show, if my Google thing was right, my AI thing.
>> Mhm.
>> Like somewhere between four and five million after he pays off >> after expenses.
>> After he pays off what? It's like $1.5 to2.2 million a show. I'll take that.
>> And he generates >> I need I need to create an AI.
>> But but but the amount of but the amount of money that these guys are generating for cities is crazy because he's they said he's generating >> revenue plus sales.
>> Yeah. And with with people go seven to it's between 6 and 12 million a a stop. You know he's play played two nights here.
>> Sold out both nights.
>> Yeah. And so you know people ate before bought drinks.
>> We went and ate before went and had pizza. Plus, um, concessions.
>> Yeah. Uber.
>> Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's big. It's big.
>> I don't even know what that looks like.
>> What?
>> Well, then you got to think of like Taylor Swift's tour where it was like 12 semiis and all. But did you see after her tour, she gave like every member of her crew like a $100,000 plus bonus.
>> That's cool.
>> All of them. Like everybody that worked >> on the tour >> on that tour, she gave >> I mean, >> that's how you should do it.
>> I mean, yeah. Because most people they don't take care of you know if you want people to work hard for you.
>> Yeah.
>> I think it's just the thought >> and you know those people don't want it.
>> I mean 100 grand is nice but I bet you some of those people whatever they got would have been like oh that's cool.
That's that's >> Yeah.
>> I like you don't even know us really >> right.
>> You know what I mean? Like you don't really know who we are. We you just know that you have a crew working for you.
>> You have just a there's guys that make the stage happen and then the stage disappear.
>> Yeah. Like you don't have to worry about none of that. and and you know for them to for her for them to for her to just think about them, >> right? Well, and you think those people are going to I mean, a they're going to work hard.
>> Mhm.
>> B they're going to like next time she has a tour, they're those people are going to be like, "Let's let's go."
>> Mhm.
>> Um but then maybe she created a false expectation. You know, what if what if she started to decline?
>> She can't afford $100,000 for everybody.
I mean, she's she's super rich. He could anyway, but >> she could.
>> Yeah.
>> And her her following is >> I was driving Uber during that time she came. And uh so >> Okay.
>> Oh jeez. I I was picking up rides all so whatever. I can't remember the days she came, but let's just say it was a Friday and a Saturday, right?
>> I started picking people up Monday from the airport, from everywhere.
>> They were all coming. picking people up from their homes or wherever they were at because all the bars downtown were having like Taylor Swift parties all week.
>> Oh yeah.
>> And I was just like, >> "Oh yeah, that's money in the bank all week."
>> I was like, "This is ridiculous." I'm like, "So you I said, "So you >> Did you learn a lot of songs?"
>> No. Well, I got some good tips because I'm like, "We're playing Taylor Swift."
Yep. Yep.
>> Oh, they tipped me.
>> You're like >> all day. So, but there was these uh I picked up these >> You had your Taylor Swift t-shirt on.
So her when she when she started her tour, Denver, some of the bars in Denver had Taylor Swift parties.
>> Mhm.
>> And they streamed it live in the club or the bar, wherever. Yeah. So people >> because the show was sold out.
>> Yeah. Well, no. When No, when they started in another city, when it started the tour started.
>> Oh, you could watch the tour.
>> We her very first performance at the club or wherever the and I picked people up to take to that >> and these girls were like they weren't running late. They were they knew they were going to be late, >> but they had it on in the in the in the phone and they just started crying.
>> It was it was the her fans are the wildest, man.
>> See, and I mean, I'm not knocking anybody's yum by any means, but I can't imagine myself being brought to tears just to see someone playing music.
>> No.
>> I mean, I'd be I would be joyous. I would be >> I'd be >> happy, but I'm not like >> just to stand there and like physically >> if you're happy, if you're dancing, if you're whatever, I get it. But if you're crying or you're fainting, like >> that's a lot.
>> Yeah, >> that's a lot. That's kind of that weirdo line.
>> Can't do it.
>> If you get moved to that heavy of an emotion, >> they better be that good.
>> Yeah. You know what else should be good?
>> What?
>> Uh the Minecraft 2 movie.
>> Oh, >> you remember Minecraft the movie?
>> No. Remember we went and saw it?
>> We did?
>> Yeah. Together. Just me and you. We went in the middle of the day because we didn't want anyone to know we were going Minecraft fans.
>> I didn't know.
>> No, >> I didn't even know they put out a Minecraft one.
>> So Minecraft 2 is coming out.
>> Minecraft 2 is coming out >> when >> it's it's come like it's being teased right now.
>> So >> M Wait, Minecraft's the game, right?
>> Yes.
>> We're not thinking Mind Sweeper computer game. Oh, we're No. Minecraft the game where you're like you got to build your fort and do all >> Yeah. No. Wow.
>> Is it crazy that this generation these are the kids that grew up watching people play video games?
>> You remember watch people on YouTube.
They would just watch people on YouTube playing video games.
>> Never play the game. They just watch other people play it.
>> Crazy to me.
>> And now they've they've transitioned that into >> movie >> actual movie franchises of a video game.
I guess there was a Mario Brothers movie not long ago, so it's not that farfetched, I guess.
>> Yeah, but there was a Mario Brothers movie a long time ago.
>> I know, but I'm like I'm still It's like a video like a >> It's a video game.
>> I don't even understand Minecraft, so I don't know. I just know it's popular.
>> There's probably there's probably not going to be a Roblox movie.
>> We should hopefully that's probably that's probably locked in Diddy's vault.
>> The Roblox one.
Just saying.
>> Uh, >> they probably won't invite us to do the Minecraft premiere.
>> Thank gosh.
>> What if they do?
>> Oh, I mean, we'll go, I guess. But, >> uh, we got a new rep, too, from Allied.
I don't I haven't met them yet.
>> Oh, really?
>> Um, so the the gal that we've worked with since we've been together on the show, um, just announced that she uh Pressure was her last promotion. Oh, really?
>> The last one she was doing. Now she is uh she's not in that business anymore.
She just accepted a position to teach business and marketing right here at Horizon High School.
>> So be a school teacher basically.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> So I don't know who our new rep is, but get us something good to watch.
>> Yeah. Pressure was good though.
>> Yeah. I liked it a lot. I really did. Um last thing I have I don't know if you ever watched that show. Uh, Alaskan Bush people.
>> Yeah. Is that true that that guy deleted himself?
>> He chose to selfch checkckout lane.
>> That's one of the brothers, right? The older brother.
>> Matt Matt Brown. They they have recovered his um his body.
>> Where they where they Let me see. Let me look him up real quick.
>> In a river in after >> in Alaska.
>> Washington River Search.
>> Oh, that guy.
>> Pretty crazy, huh?
>> I mean, >> people are beating the [ __ ] out of his family right now like online because they're not like crying like crazy. But they I mean if you watch that show at all, they're they're not very emot they're weirdos.
>> They're not very emotional, >> but they're not emotional. Like they don't feel emotion. They don't do this.
So people are like >> I can't believe that they're not like I'm like but you don't understand.
Someone could be busted up.
>> I wonder how much >> they even talk because I watched uh >> there was a big split.
>> Was there? I don't know.
>> Yeah, I think there was some >> family drama. Oh, okay. Cuz the that one of the brothers went on he's like, "Well, oh, I'm just hearing about this.
I wasn't sure. I'm not sure of the details, but it's like he for sure had no emotion, >> right?
>> He thought you would think he was talking about a stranger.
>> Yeah. And the other brother that was part of the search was very similar.
Like you could tell that he was exhausted and slightly distraught, but not like overly emotional in any way.
>> I mean, that's a But that's a hard life, man.
>> Yeah, they were they did some weird [ __ ] They did some, you know, not and you see a lot of these these shows that people film like these reality family shows like even those those Little People the Little People Big World.
>> I'm not saying anything cuz I got banned from TikTok for using the wrong.
>> Oh, so so the the show >> Yeah.
>> Little People Big World.
>> Uhhuh.
>> Like some of them don't even want to be on camera no more just cuz it's >> it was so >> it's like so >> dude and trust me I get it.
>> So intrusive. So like you know and so I don't know. That's man, that's crazy.
It's sad to hear people do that to themselves when that's not the only option. Really? It's really not the only option.
>> Yeah.
>> And it's like I'm >> Well, Claude Lemieux played for the ABS.
>> He selfch checkckout lane.
>> Is that what happened?
>> Mhm.
>> Oh, dang. I was wondering. I mean, cuz for an athlete 60 young still. I mean, >> not maybe your body doesn't Your body doesn't feel 60. Maybe it feels 160, >> right?
>> But as far as like I would think that your your internal >> Yeah. But I mean, you got to think hockey is very similar to fighting in football and that head trauma happens >> and you just never know.
>> But you think Claude Lemieux like he's top of the top famous.
>> Yeah. Everybody >> as far as hockey, I mean, even if you don't know hockey, you know Claude Lemieux.
>> Um, but yeah, he uh I guess he chose the selfch checkckout lane as well.
>> Oh man.
>> Which sucks. Well, up the road from you, that family and the guy chose that that you didn't hear. I told 136 then >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah.
>> Or whatever. 14.
>> Yeah. He uh he chose to uh check out his whole family.
>> Yeah. Then himself >> and himself. Yeah. Yeah. It's not far.
It's Broomfield, right? Right over >> on the other side of the highway.
>> Yeah. It's probably less than 5 miles from my house.
>> Easy. Less. Which is funny cuz where that is is probably less than five miles from uh what was the guy who deleted his two young daughters and his wife?
>> Chris Watts.
>> Chris Watts. They lived less than 5 miles from here, too. Really? Their house is right. Yeah, >> that guy's >> Yeah, >> they should they shouldn't even protect that guy.
>> We need to check the water.
>> They should just put that guy in the >> Jeep. Easy.
>> We We need to check the water around here.
>> You don't drink it, so you're good.
But man, that's crazy that he Yeah.
Nobody really ever knows why. You can leave a note. You could leave >> I mean maybe maybe some people do leave kind of a >> pretty pretty detailed >> pretty detailed under you know so people understand.
>> I hope so. you know, and how do you ever wish that on somebody or you want that to happen or >> but you would really I mean as a survivor of that as a person who you know would be the family left over >> it sure would be probably helpful in understanding that it wasn't maybe your fault >> and they could explain like this this this and this. That would that would be helpful because I feel like >> I hope I never have to go through that with somebody I know >> because I I do feel like I would probably be like, damn, I well then I I sucked as a friend.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, not being able to notice and recognize >> Sure.
>> certain things.
>> But and so many people hide it so well, too.
>> That that too.
>> Yeah, >> that too. Damn, that's crazy.
>> Kind of a somber way to end.
>> I know. I used to watch that show.
>> I'm going to watch it. I've seen clips.
I've never watched the show. You never watch I've watch I've watched the first couple seasons.
>> I I'm going to go check it out.
>> I just don't know how somebody finds something.
>> And this is that weird time when everyone gets a big boost in their show like people go back and stream it.
>> Yeah.
>> Who've never seen it. And I hate to be part of that, but I kind of want to see anyway.
>> Yeah, it I like the first couple seasons. Feel like after like as it got going and they got more money >> cuz obviously your show the show gets more money, right? Because >> you're doing well so everybody gets more money.
>> That's content creation. You know what I'm saying?
I feel like those first shows are first first seasons are better than >> Yeah. They become more white trash with money as >> Exactly. Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. So, >> I'll take a shot at that.
>> What's that?
>> White trash with money.
>> Me, too.
>> I'll probably do some dumb [ __ ] on film.
>> Yeah, why not?
>> Not weirdo [ __ ] but dumb [ __ ] >> No.
>> All right, guys. That's going to wrap it up for this one. Um it is today is Sunday so we'll see you Tuesday.
>> Wednesday.
>> Wednesday. Tuesday will be a premiere.
>> Yep. And then >> and there's uh this week we should also have um an episode of How' You Get Here coming out.
>> Okay.
>> With Stefon Street.
>> Stefon Street.
>> Um one of Zack Hairspiders.
>> Oh, okay.
>> Yeah. Really cool kid. I like him a lot.

>> Yeah, it's going to be afternoon.
>> Afternoon.
