This video demonstrates that AI video generation models vary significantly in their ability to create complex animated fight scenes, with specialized models trained on specific content types (like anime) performing substantially better than general-purpose models. The test evaluates six platforms (Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Vidu Q3, Seedance 2.0, Happyhorse, Wan 2.7, and Google Omni) on a standardized fight scene test featuring teleport-in effects, dialogue exchange, and complex multi-shot combat movements. Seedance 2.0 achieved the highest score (9/10) due to its extensive training on anime content, while Veo 3.1 scored lowest (3/10) despite being an early dialogue-capable platform. The results reveal that prompt adherence, dialogue quality, and fight scene complexity are critical evaluation metrics, and that specialized training data significantly impacts AI model performance in specific content domains.

I Made the Same Anime Fight Scene in Every AI Video GeneratorAdded:
The anime fight scene, the most iconic part of any beloved series. But so far, AI has struggled to make anything but pure sloth when you ask for an epic clash. Today, we see if that's changed.
I'm putting six of the most advanced video models on the planet to the ultimate fight scene test, ranking each of prompt adherence, dialogue, and fight quality. The gap between the best and the worst way bigger than I expected.
Let's go. Okay, so the fight scene we're testing today is between these two mighty warriors, our fire warrior, and our ice warrior. Very original. The scene needs three specific beats. First, they teleport in with their respective element [music] effects. Secondly, they're going to exchange one quick line each, and then they clash together in a series of complex fight movements. Each platform has the same images, runs on its best model possible, and I'm scoring all three of these beats together to make up the final score. Sound good?
Let's start with Cling.
>> Your ice ends here.
>> Then come prove it.
[screaming] If I'm looking at how like the teleport effects look on Clling, they actually don't look too bad. Like he comes in, he like there is a very fiery like way of coming down and then I like how like the ice comes out for her and she has kind of like the frost come around her. The talking shots it did perfect with really good voice acting. This is where we get into Clang's goddamn Achilles heel.
Clang is always like this. As soon as we start asking for complex motion between two characters, even with 3.0, when it comes to anime, it starts washing together and we get a lot of this like blurry movement. Like you can see here with the blur, it's all very blurry.
Now, they are following the beats and we do have like our epic [music] clash, but like the end beat that we're asking for in the fight scene is that they're supposed to like separate and like clash together. And so Cling ends up making the fire guy both guys. So that that's kind of weird. Overall, if I were to give Cling an overall score out of 10, I'm going to give it a 6 out of 10.
First off, I'm going to be strict with all the platforms today. Let's see how VO 3.1 does. Like, you can tell this is a VO video immediately.
>> Your ice ends here.
>> Then come prove it.
Okay. The first thing that I noticed like as I watch [music] this back is that if we see like how they pop in, our fire guy kind of just emerges from the ground and she kind of just teleports in and then jumps up. It looks good, but like let me pause this frame. Where are their weapons? It takes the entire like six more seconds for their weapons to pop in. Like suddenly now they've got the weapons. The talking shots are not bad. like VO did it and VO3. If we think about the age-old history of these testing videos was one of the first platforms to deliver dialogue lines in a video and it was what I used for the longest time before the other platforms caught up parody. So, it does a decent job. However, like she kind of looks weird and then it's like why does that happen? Put two characters on a uh image and ask for a fight scene with VO, at least with anime, and you will get something like this. It's always been like this. No matter what model of VO you get, they stand together and they just kind of like whale. It's like one of these moving. It's kind of weird. So, I I would say VO is not great, guys.
Like, yet, did it technically do what I asked for? Yes. Did it do it well? No.
I'm going to give VO a 3 out of 10. I'm just going to say straight up with VO.
With GPT2's image model being so freaking good, VO falling behind in quality and Nano Banana kind of after you start using GP2 for a while, it's like, man, it's kind of hard to use Nano Banana. Google needs to step up and step up in a big way very quickly or VO is going to get the runway treatment and be out of here. Get it out of here. Okay, the next platform is VU. VU Q3 Pro. One of the platforms that is Hey, we we are good with anime. We are an anime platform. Hey, Noble Goose, you do anime, right? VU. I like VU. Okay, let's see how VU did this fight scene.
>> Your ice ends here.
>> Then come prove it.
It's It's better than Vio. I need to watch that again. Okay, so they teleport in decently. Really good teleport scene.
I like how the camera pushes to him for his first line. Voice acting is okay.
It's very quiet and the lips are not synced very well at all.
>> Like he's talking but his lips aren't moving.
>> Same here. Very slow. Now the fight scene for a second you're just like oh this is about he's about to cook for this millisecond right here it's like oh my god what are they about to do pushes in it actually looks kind of decent but like they're kind of swirling around like during that initial fight scene like he's just kind of like going like this like kind of going wild and it doesn't really look that good and then at the end these you know separating into two these platforms all got very similar prompts asking for the same beads just with optimized for each platform. So VU at the end of the day we're going to give it a five out of 10.
I think it did. Okay. Was it the greatest thing in the world? No. The next platform is Juan. Now, Juan, everyone is always like, "Noble goose.
Test Juan. Noble goose. Show me some local models." So, I'm like, "Okay, let's throw Juan on here." Juan is a model you can run on your own computer.
I am pretty sure. Let's see how it did.
Your ice ends here.
>> Then [music] come prove it.
Okay, the teleport in I think looks really cool. The effects are kind of slow motion, especially our fire guy popping in. Look at his face on this freeze frame. That's not very becoming.
However, like you know what do you want?
Now, I love how they move the camera.
Now, technically in the prompt, it's asking to cut to a new view. So, what's happening here is that some of these platforms can't really do that. So, like what they will do is push in really quickly. So, it pushes in pretty nicely, but it cuts to her like very great. in the in in the dialogue. The way it's the wines are delivered, I would say pretty decent.
>> Your ice ends here.
>> Lip sync looks good. Now, when we get to the fight scene, it's like, okay, this is really where the model is going to lose a lot of points. They're just kind of like the weapons kind of get stuck and then there's a slow jump. There's really none of like the beats of like them clashing weapons that I asked for at all. So, Juan is going to get another five out of 10. Those first initial parts, the voice acting is carrying Juan. I think it did a really good job.
And here's what the platforms look like so far. are pretty decent. Pretty close.
Let's check out Sea Dance now. Seance to Noble Gibbs. You should just put Sea Dance first. We know it's going to win.
Well, there's actually one platform after Sea Dance that apparently based on the LLM Arena rankings. They're right at the finish line. Happy horse. Happy horse is next. But we all know Sea Dance is going to do this well, right? Hey everyone, if you're enjoying the video, it would mean the world to me if you hit the like button and subscribe. Let's get back to the test. So, let's see how Sea Dance 2 did.
Your ice ends here.
>> Then come prove it.
>> So that's by far the best one so far, right? Let's be strict with Cance here cuz we all know it was going to do well.
Look at his face. It's just completely melted away. I'm pretty sure it didn't look like that in the initial image. So like he should still have eyes and stuff. Like yeah, there's a lot of effects going on and everything, but it shouldn't look that bad. Okay, so so they pop in with Sea Dance. I like the little effects. Seance is so good. Like, look at those little subtle effects that Cance does. His little that aura, that anime aura that just like it's so hard to describe, but like it's so awesome and hard to like prompt for that. Seance just kind of throws that in. So boom, he comes out with his fire. They're mangling the characters, but that's fine. Dialogue's great. Seance is so good at that. Clash. And then this is where Cance is [music] going to get like probably my N out of 10. Look at these clash, guys. This is exactly all the beats that I wanted. Like low key, we all know that our Chinese brethren over at Cance just [music] fed this like every latest anime ever and just trained the model for millions of hours on it.
Like, and they gave us the Nerf version, right? Imagine what you could do with like sitting in someone's, you know, data center somewhere in Shenzhen or whatever. Cance is by far the best model available right now [music] for anything that you want to do. It's expensive. I'm going to give Cance 9 out of 10. If you look at the LOM arena rankings, suddenly Happy Horse by another one of our beloved Chinese state Alibaba is new model. Happy Horse One. Great name for a model. Awesome name. So, let's see how Happy Horse did. Is this the Sea Dance killer? It's more expensive than Sea Dance.
Your ice ends here.
>> Then come prove it.
Okay, they both teleport in decently, but like that's not like really teleport. They kind of just run in from the sides. It looks kind of cool though. Great dialogue delivery. Decent little choppy on the animation. The fight scene itself is where it really falls apart. Like for a second there, I thought what they were about you you guys know you all watched the anime, right? You we all know what we thought was about to happen. There's about to be running forward and going while they were running towards the camera. That would have been sick.
That's not what happened. and they kind of just start putting their track shoes on and running and then bam, they're cut back with really no inclination as to why. And there is like a sort of like a similar fight you would have with like your little brother or sister [music] when you were young with like toy lightsabers or pool noodles. That's sort of what we have going here with Happy Horse. Very, very not really quick. And then there's a very slow motion choppy jump away. We're going to give Happy Horse a 6 out of 10. Decent. Happy Horse. It looks like it has some potential. Maybe it just needs some more time to cook. It's their [music] first model, so we'll see where it goes. Oh Everyone, everyone, everyone, everyone, stop what [music] you're doing. Stop what you're doing. We have a bonus review. In the time of filming this video, Google Omni has come out.
Google Omni is now on Flow, and I'll tell you what, I was impressed by how cheap it was, everybody. It was way cheaper than Google 3.1. This is Google's latest model. Let's see how it did.
>> Your ice ends here. and come prove it.
I am two parts disappointed, one part impressed. I'm disappointed because Google has unlimited much. And oh my god, I am just noticing this now.
They've watermarked my video. When Google Vio came out, it was such a jump in quality. It was like a game changer.
It was almost comparable to like when Cedense came out. So, you would expect like Google being the company it is, being all in on AI that it is, it would continue to cook like this and refine.
[music] But, if I watch this video, it's okay, but it's nothing like groundbreaking. I have pretty high expectations. Another thing is that you can only use ingredients to video at this point. So, you'll notice when my characters pop in, they're not exactly like the same character. Like, his weapons, they kind of just grow from his [music] hand. The dialogue sounds good.
It looks really good. The motion's kind of a little bit more 3D. The fight is like I mean compared to the rest of these it's not bad. We kind of leave anime territory and move into more of like 3D motion. So Google Omni at least for this test I'm going to give it a 6 out of 10. But I really don't like the fact that it's watermarking my videos.
That's pissing me off. I don't like that little watermark. Here are all the scores as they exist. It was clear to see who won, but it was actually pretty surprising to see how low VO [music] scored given how good Sea Dance is. If you want to know how to prompt it correctly, go ahead and check out this video where I tell you how to prompt seance correctly.
