Obviously, we saw his shirt still have some blood for now. Dexter's averted the crisis, but it's probably a matter of time before it blows up into something else. And really the the blood is freeos so it sacks up but then does that mean I don't know does that mean Ramon will >> could be charged with it.

M so Dexter deciding to be a father >> we've explored a lot to do with that this episode >> being a good man being a good father >> you know his own intentions very interesting how they've kind of brought in a child predator >> as his victim in the episode where he's trying to see the difference separation between him and and that world and men men who have what he has but with different situations like men that are alike you know what I mean >> so creative I think the way they did it >> I think so Dexter's definitely if there's one area you trust Dexter with is is children. He seems to be very good with children. I can't see him, you know, harming them. And I think he's beyond just like the code is there. But >> well, he said like it's my in this world. I could choose who lives and dies. So >> that was a big moment. Him killing somebody is I think it's the first time we've seen him intentionally kill someone without any blood involved. It was pure just strangulation.

[00:22:25]>> Yeah. There wasn't any blood. It wasn't even to do with his desires and his addiction. It was just purely >> your problem, >> you know, I need to kill you.

[00:22:35]>> That's true. I didn't think of it in that way. But that is actually a really good point, especially like seeing Asa in those photos and Cody, but like AA specifically, it was almost like on instinct, you know, even when you got jungle.

[00:22:48]>> Yeah. But it's always been about like hunting and the hunted this episode and and then everything being a jungle out there and and the way he killed really was in that manner. It wasn't very like meticulous and precise and you know calculated with the like there was some calculations but it just felt more like jungle like in that one.

[00:23:11]>> Yeah. It wasn't his usual method. What's interesting, but it's nothing new to us at this point, just that, you know, obviously he denies the existence of his emotions, but you could see very true there that he was angry. He was as soon as he saw that it was AA in the photos, he was pissed off. He was like, you're not going to go near her kind of thing.

[00:23:28]That that protectiveness came out of him. So, there's a lot more emotional responses that Dexter continues to have than he, I think, cares to admit. That was interesting though, that little flashback with Harry and the um MRIs or X-rays on the brain.

[00:23:43]>> Yeah. More not such a flashback, but more like a >> a memory.

[00:23:47]>> No, but I don't think that actually happened.

[00:23:49]>> Yeah, I heard you say that in the reaction. No, that would have happened.

[00:23:52]>> No, because we see when Harry died, Dexter always had his he was younger and longer hair. It was that was part of like how he imagined Harry at the playground. He's having these visions where he keeps trying to measure up his own choices with what his father would think.

[00:24:07]>> So that whole X-ray thing like you don't think that >> I don't think it happened. No, because Dexter looked way older than he ever was when Harry died and he stacks up with the visions Dex had the other one or two visions he's had where he looks like this.

[00:24:20]>> Yeah. Yeah, I agree with that. But then like I'm just thinking about the whole X-ray like putting it over maybe he's >> but he I'm knowledge.

[00:24:28]>> You know what I think it was? I think it was like scared that in the MRI that that would show up in the same way and then it's kind of like the baby is well I thought in a different way. I thought oh like you know we've been saying this whole time because of the circumstances that and yeah some people have predispositions and whatnot but yeah that's what I was >> I thought it was more to do with him discovering Dexter. I see his brain scans that he's lacking in.

[00:24:52]>> It is. It is. It is.

[00:24:54]>> Yeah.

[00:24:55]>> Pudgy has not brought her a game today.

[00:24:57]>> Yeah, cuz I couldn't remember what age but I was like that's why Dexter looks older. I couldn't remember what age like Harrier died at >> le detective Spartan. I'll carry the case for us.

[00:25:07]>> He was stuttering there. Didn't seem so sure of yourself. But yes, I think that is like hitting the nail on the head. He is scared that he could be passing this thing on to his child. But yeah, I don't I don't see. Yeah, sure, you got to have some kind of predisposition, and I get that. That's fine. But look, what happened to him was horrific as a child, and then you understand the fascination with blood.

[00:25:30]So, that's where I'm kind of at with all of it. I also thought it was interesting that he opened up to Miguel. We kept getting the name wrong, but >> the name wrong. Yeah.

[00:25:41]>> And I think last episode, >> but it's weird because I I I put it on Google the name. It came with him. So, that's why I'm confused. Is Ramon the surname or something? May I don't know.

[00:25:49]No, there was a brother's name.

[00:25:51]>> Yeah. I don't know. I don't know what the hell that did, but >> yeah. Anyways, I thought that was interesting because he has never really admitted that to anyone that like his father was disgusted in him. He molded and it fits, you know, with the with the whole like being a man and the pressure of your father and stuff that, you know, he molded him into something and then thought he was disgusted anyways. He wasn't proud of him anyways. Um, but it goes like deeper and darker with Dexter.

[00:26:19]So, which is good. Like Miguel doesn't have any idea what he's talking about, but at the same time, like it's it's hard knowing what Dexter actually means.

[00:26:27]>> Yeah. And Miguel is I don't know. He's he's a bit of a clinger. He's falling in love with Dexter for all the wrong reasons, but he's not, you know, he's not letting it go. He's too close to home for Dexter's liking, and it doesn't look like we're going to be able to get rid of him anytime soon.

[00:26:41]>> And there is something off about him.

[00:26:43]Not only is he doing, you know, reasonably well with his situation, but he put away an innocent man for 20 years. Now, that might be his political career or whatever, but yeah, I feel like Miguel is going to unravel as well to not be as genuine and pure as maybe he's appearing appearing to be or has tried to appear to be.

[00:27:00]>> I wonder because obviously when Maria spoke with him, it'd be good to go back and just see whether that's kind of when he made his decision because I know that he was stressed that nothing was going right. obviously the whole Freebo thing and also that new case. So, I wonder if once the whole FBO thing was like put to bed, that's when he's like, you know what, like like we need justice somehow and then those emotions took over or if he was always going to do that for like a career move kind of thing. It's sad, but all these things actually do happen.

[00:27:34]like some people are just willing to put away people for good even though for their own career even though that they deep down probably know that it's not correct. But then again he then speaks to Dexa. That's why I'm confused on Miguel. But then cuz he speaks to Dexter saying you know like we need to see them in the right direction. Justice needs to be served. Like he says these like >> maybe he thinks he's serving justice. I don't know. M >> big move by the way giving Dexter the proof like you can trust someone but it's like he really feels he has to pay it forward to Dexter. He has this sense of >> I don't know this this obligation or this this loyalty to Dexter because you so many other ways to go about it but he gave him literally the shirt. It's not even about Dexter necessarily being trustworthy or not. But if somehow that was to get out of Dex's hands it's it's proof like why leave it there? You've left your fate of your life into hopes that another man takes care of it carefully.

[00:28:25]>> Yeah. Yeah. Well, he's also I guess trying to make sure that Dexter knows like you can trust me. I'm not going to tell you a secret because you did me the favor as well. I don't know.
